BACKGROUND
*WILL NOT BE USED IN FINAL GRADE*
In this, emulsion paint comes back, but this is mainly focused on backgrounds in art work.
We can also see a topic change, it's no longer shells, and it's not longer skulls, it's now tools.
Here is the full piece, you can see I explained what I did, but that's not what I'm focused on, I'm focused on my art piece and the background.
Here is the reference image, pliers.
Background:::
I used blue and yellow ink, and mixed it to make green. I randomly splattered it and spread it with a roller. Then I went over it all with white emulsion paint and spread that.
I used the transfer pattern with black ink and this is what happened.
An important thing to note about backgrounds like this is the colours must be neutral, and covered with emulsion.
Funny Story Time:::
So, it's lesson and we're creating backgrounds. I'm sat on a table with three other people and we all get along, even the one I'm no longer friends with. Now my real friend, the one who I get a long with really well, has a habit of doing things his way, and not doing work that he actually needs to do.
The art tutor says, 'make sure you use neutral tones, and dull it out' and my friend goes 'okay', and starts with the bright blue. Immediately. Not that funny explaining it, but it is to me coz I know him.
