How is your father? I think he is fine. A common question asked which receives an uncommon answer. This is because a lot of children have not seen their father for so long that they don’t even remember how he looks. Some have never actually met their fathers. Well that was until they were called for his funeral and they find out they have a chain of brothers and sisters who had the privilege to know him. True colors are always revealed when a person dies. 

I’m not talking about fathers over boarders or overseas who left to work hard and provide a better life for their wives and children they left home. I’m talking about the usual suspects who turned an unusual routine into an usual situation. I’m talking about the man who decided to leave his wife for another woman and thought that abandoning his children was part of the deal. I call him a man because he has lost the status of father. He failed to live up to a standard and so he does not deserve the title. 

This isn’t something new but at least men in the past had the decency to at least take care for the family he left behind. 

The man of today will leave you for another woman, refuse to give you a divorce and then pass you in the street like he doesn’t know you. 

It might sound like something out of a movie but it’s the harsh reality. 

Man: You don’t doll up and fix up your hair like you used to.

Wife: But when I do that you complain that I attract too much attention. 

It doesn’t matter what the reason is. Some men can never run out of reasons why they can’t be with you anymore. Some men just have to earn a little extra money for them to think they are entitled to having another woman or an upgrade as some would say. A woman with more class or expensive taste. Basically they want a more expensive woman. Intelligent men stick to their wives and save more. In the long run who is really benefiting. I give most of them at least 2 years before they start thinking of the good old days when they still had money to spend and peace of mind. 

He never loved you. It’s a painful fact. 

He won’t divorce you because it will cost him and he needs a place to come back to when all goes wrong. 

Is this because some part of him still loves you? NO

it’s because he is selfish. 

Don’t fall for the drama. If you are still single choose a partner wisely. A person can make a uturn as soon as he puts a ring on your finger revealing his true colors. There is no rush take your time. Married women I pray this drama never enters your marriage. Abandoned wives, mothers and children. Promises were made but he broke them. Let GOD deal with him and move on with your life. Don’t allow his decisions to affect your decisions. No matter how hard it may be.

I’m not attacking men but just speaking the truth about what some men do and have done. If you are not part of this type of men then you have nothing to worry about.
