Jaune Arc blinked and thought to himself. How did all of this happen? The young knight found himself inside a prison cell. A prison cell!

Oh yeah! Some thugs stabbed him and stole his stuff. Crocea Mors, his armor, and his wallet were all stolen. Luckily for him and unluckily for those thugs, he was way better than they would ever be. But how did that relate to him being imprisoned?

Well, let's just say he found some information that the owner of the Warehouse was connected to a certain gentlemanly thief, Roman Torchwick. Calling the authorities to secure the other stolen goods was the correct choice.

'Thankfully, the other blades taught me a lot!'

He would have caused more trouble than it's worth if he accidentally set off all those dust vials and containers. That explosion would have destroyed the entire warehouse or heavily damaged it. Sadly, he confirmed one thing. With his family's ancestral sword back in his hands, the Blonde found himself admitting that the blade did not feel right in his hands. He can use it perfectly without issues but felt that the blade did not fit him that much.

After asking around some of the homeless people and beggars, the Blonde found himself a founder of a relatively small information network composed of some small-time thieves and the homeless. Sadly, it was how he found out that Vale's police force was under the payroll of the Xiong Family.

After spending some time thinking of what to do next, the Blonde decided to hire Junior to create some Fake Transcripts for him to use. Oh, it was not cheap and it cost a lot. But no worries! It was sponsored by the Xiong family themselves!

Well, one thing led to another, and after a fun night out in Vale.

Under the beautiful night sky of a broken moon, one Jaune Arc dressed in a new set of clothes: a pair of black pants and a black vest over a grey shirt. A pair of black gloves covered his hands while a belt held the sheathed form of Crocea Mors as the blonde entered a store.

"Hey there, Mr. Shopkeep!" The blonde greeted with a smile as he looked at the old man by the counter. "I was wondering if you have some books for sale."

"We have some at the back. Feel free to check them out." Thanking the shopkeeper, the Blonde approached the bookshelves located at the back of the store by the wall. Looking at the titles of the Books, the blonde browsed each one before picking up a thick leatherbound book.

Ignoring the sound of the door being opened, the Blonde's eyes caught a glimpse of black and red as a girl around 5'4" passed by him. Returning his focus to the book, Jaune opened the cover and flipped through the pages, eagerly devouring the information in them. After a while of reading the first chapter, the young Blonde managed to memorize some of the important factors concerning the Grimm.

Hearing the door open and the footsteps of several men, the young crusader looked over his shoulder and noticed the group of men dressed in black suits and red ties. 'Junior's Men?' Jaune thought as he saw the black suits. Discreetly unclasping the lock on Crocea Mors, the Blonde lowered the book just enough for his arm to gently rest on the pommel of his ancestral family sword.

Rose petals filled his vision as a crash echoed in the shop. Turning around with his right hand on the handle of Crocea Mors, the young knight's face turned stone-cold as he held the wrapped sheath of Crocea Mors with his left hand. Noticing an approaching black suit, the blonde was about to raise his hand when a red blur tackled the black suit out of the shop and through the glass window.

'Is that a scythe?' A scythe was more or less a farm tool and would be highly impractical in combat unless you were highly skilled. Keeping a hand on the handle, the young crusader's eyes widened as he saw a girl around his age dressed in shades of red and black with a scythe of the same color scheme.

"Okay, get her," The orange-haired man dressed in a white coat and the black suits charged towards the girl.

Seeing the thugs charge towards the girl, the blonde moved. Drawing Crocea Mors and using his momentum, the Blonde blade slid through the air intending to cut the ginger down.

Instead of blood, the blonde's cold blue eyes narrowed by a fraction as instead of being cut down, the man blocked Crocea Mors with his cane. 'That's a tough cane,' the blonde thought.

"Well, what's this?" the ginger said as he looked straight at the Blonde's eyes. They were a cold shade of blue, piercing through his very soul, unnerving the thief and sending a shiver down his spine. With their weapons in a bind, the second Divine Crusader reached for under his suit jacket and jabbed a steel double-edged dagger

Roman Torchwick was having a nice haul or it should have been if not for what happened. How was a thief like him supposed to have a nice haul when his incompetent hired help was taken out quickly? Oh, that was not counting the blonde intent on cutting him down. He felt it and he knew that his cane would have been cut in two along with a nasty injury that would probably have killed him and that strike he blocked from the sword already took a sizeable chunk of his aura.

Acting on instincts honed in the underworld, the ginger thief leaned out of the way just in time to avoid the dagger that would have taken his eye out before using the movement to kick himself out of the bind by slamming his foot on the Blondie's knee.

Several drops of blood fell to the ground as Roman Torchwick landed on the ground a gash on his lower arm as Jaune flicked the blood off Crocea Mors with practiced ease.

'Well, this seems like a bust,' the Ginger thief thought as he looked at the Blonde and Red, their weapons ready and in their stances before his lone visible eye focused on the dust store.

"Well, Red, Blondie. I think we can all say that this has been an eventful evening, and as much as I would love to stick around..." Jaune's eyes widened for a fraction of a second as he immediately dropped the dagger on his left hand and reached for the cloth-covered shield-sheathe hybrid strapped to his waist, eyes focused on Roman's entire body just as the thief raised his cane. "I'm afraid this is where we part ways,"

A bright light was released from the cane just as Jaune moved and held the cloth-covered shield just in time to block the flare headed towards the store while a crimson blur trailed with red rose petals swooped in from behind him, taking the shopkeeper.

The impact was strong but was not as powerful as the blows he received from the people he fought against in Tamriel. Frowning as he saw the thief gone the moment he lowered his shield, the blonde's blue eyes were filled with a curtain of different curtains.

"Are you okay?" Turning around, the second Divine Crusader's stone-cold blue eyes honed by experience and combat met with a pair of innocent silver eyes and a pale face framed by a mop of black hair and red tips.

"I'm fine," Jaune said as he broke the staring contest that happened only briefly before his ears recovered from the explosion.

"He's over there!" Hearing the girl's voice, the divine crusader noticed an orange glow going up an emergency ladder of a nearby building. "You okay if I go after him?" The girl asked, looking at the old shopkeeper's reply.

"Uh-Huh,"

Moving quickly, the girl rushed towards the building, leaving a trail of red roses behind while Jaune sighed.

"Sir, please get inside a safe place and call the cops." He knew there was a chance these guys would not get arrested or only be detained for a few days but it was better than nothing. The old shopkeeper moved quickly and locked himself inside before Jaune's eyes widened.

A storm cloud formed over a sort of flying ship.

'Is that magic?! But how? Remnant has no magic!' The Blonde thought before running up the ladder with practiced ease before going faster as a pillar of flames erupted just over the rooftop. 'Oh no! The girl!' The second Divine Crusader moved quickly and launched himself on the rooftop using his arms only to see purple streaks of broken glass surround the Bullhead.

Listening to instincts honed on numerous battlefields, the second Divine Crusader raised his hand, turning his sheath to a shield just in time to cover himself as a burst of familiar energy turned the broken glasses into cinders.

'That was magic!' The blonde thought as his cold blue eyes narrowed on the woman, burning the glowing amber eye into his mind. Looking at the pair of women before him, the blonde knew something was familiar with the blonde Huntress but shrugged it off and focused on the fight. Pulling out several throwing knives hidden in his suit, the blonde gathered several broken glass shards and sent them towards the woman as the red-cloaked girl shot her.

"Jaune?!" Ignoring the woman beside him and sensing a flare of magic from the woman on the bullhead, the second Divine Crusader tackled them out of the way before using the shield to tank an explosion from several pillars of flames that sent shrapnel of broken glass. Taking one last look at the woman while using his detect life spell, the Blonde watched in horror as half of something embraced the amber-eyed woman.

"Jaune! Are you okay?!" The blonde-haired woman asked as she looked around, her green eyes filled with worry as the dust settled revealing the form of the Second Divine Crusader dressed in a tattered suit.

"I'm fine!" Jaune replied, frowning at the state of his attire. "Great, this cost me extra..." Despite the tatters from the shrapnel, the Blonde had no visible blood on him or wound.

The blonde-haired woman sighed in relief and intended to scold the second Divine Crusader when she noticed something. The shield that was supposed to be white with two crescent moons was now decorated with a red diamond in the middle with a black dragon inside the Diamond.

"Jaune Arc!"

Hearing his full name, the Divine Crusader's eyes widened as he stood face-to-face with his aunt, Glynda Goodwitch. Gone was the knight that faced Umaril the unfeathered and his army of Aurorans, Mannimarco and his necromances, Mehrunes Dagon, his forces, the Mythic Damn, and more and was replaced by a child that looked like he was a child caught trying to steal from the cookie jar.

"Hey... Aunt Glyn..." The blonde said with a wince. Give him a Daedric Invasion led by a madman, a Necromancer, etc. and he would fight them but facing his aunt.

And that's the story of how the Divine Crusader found himself in a holding cell.

Hearing the cell door open, the young Blonde was escorted by the police officer into a room where the girl from before was seated, circled by his annoyed aunt.

"And a slap on the wrist." Hearing the riding crop smack on the table made the Divine crusader's face turn stone cold for a split second before he shook his head.

"But for you," She turned to face her nephew, the Huntress. "I would have you be brought home after what you did. Take a seat"

Following his aunt's order, the young Knight took a seat beside the girl, noticing how small she was yet she packed a punch. He saw her skill when she took Junior's men down in quick succession. She would have been a great asset during the Oblivion Crisis... No, he must not focus on that day...

"There is someone here who would like to meet you," Hearing that, Jaune's eyes widened as a man with white hair dressed in a black suit and a green turtleneck went inside carrying a plate of cookies with a cup of coffee.

"Ruby Rose. You..." The old man leaned in to get a closer look. "Have silver eyes." Leaning away, Jaune saw the recording of the girl, Ruby Roe, on the scroll in his aunt's hand. "So! Where did you learn how to do this?"

"S-signal Academy!" The girl nervously answered while Jaune raised a brow, keeping silent as he analyzed everything he could. There was something off with the man, it was like he was burdened by something similar to when Martin...

Remembering his friend and the battle that happened.

Hordes of Daedra rushed through countless gates as he and the city guards and High Chancellor Ocato tore a path through the Daedra, the way Martin's eyes were filled with resolve despite the weight on his shoulders...

A dragon of flames bit through the flesh of a four-armed giant while he could do nothing but watch...

"Jaune Arc," Hearing his name, the Divine Crusader pushed the memories away as he found the attention of the three people in the room focused on him. "You have quite the skill far above your Transcripts."

Hearing this, Jaune looked at the recording of himself on his aunt's scroll and his mouth turned to a thin line.

"I trained myself and I caught Roman by surprise." The Blonde said, his eyes and face betraying no emotion as he looked at the Headmaster. Inside his mind, the Blonde was panicking. Did they find out about his fake transcripts? Shit! If they found out...

"So it would seem and yet you did this all without Aura," Ozpin looked at the Divine Crusader, causing the girl at his side to look at him with wide silver eyes.

"And? Huntsmen and Huntresses often fight and many rely too much on their Auras that they would be sitting ducks without it."

"Very well, although I would like to ask, why did you use this as your symbol." Showing the symbol on his shield, a sad smile appeared on the blonde's face yet his eyes burned with determination.

"A promise and a vow of loyalty to a friend," Jaune said as he remembered them all, the red diamond symboling the symbol his predecessor, Pelinal Whitestrake, was associated with and the dragon, symbolizing his friendship and loyalty to his Emperor, Martin Septim. "He wanted me to make the most out of life and to live with no regrets,"

"And where is this friend of yours now, Mr. Arc?"

"Martin died a year ago,"

Finally freed from the holding cell, the young crusader stretched lightly as he now wore a different shirt, courtesy of his aunt, with Crocea Mors stored safely in his waist along with his dagger.

"Congratulations on your admission to Beacon," Jaune said to the girl. Hearing this, the red-tipped black-haired girl looked at him with wide silver eyes.

"Uhm you too, Jaune, right?"

The Crimson Reaper and the Blonde Knight awkwardly looked away from each other. The crimson reaper fidgeted under her cloak while Jaune rubbed the back of his neck.

"You did good..." 'Come on, Jaune! Dad said women like confidence!' "I uhh... I mean you were quite skilled with your scythe..."

"You too!" Ruby shouted as she panicked, wondering what to say. "I mean with your sword, not a scythe since I saw you,"

"Pfft,"

"Hey! Don't laugh at me!"

From a crimson portal, a pair of confused women appeared, one looking like an older copy of Ruby while the other was a woman with dark hair and red eyes. The two women watched as the Taller blonde looked away while chuckling as Ruby glared and pouted at him.

"Stop laughing at me!" Ruby shouted with a pout before turning away.

"Sorry," Jaune replied as he tried to stop himself from laughing in relief. Relief that there was someone as socially awkward as him.

"I don't understand," Glynda whispered as she followed Ozpin as the two walked towards Ozpin's office. "How did Jaune learn to fight like that."

Ignoring Glynda's tirades about her nephew, Ozpin took a sip of his cup of coffee. Jaune Arc was an enigma, he was already planning to accept the young man's application due to the potential that the Arc family possessed but seeing him in action made him sure that he made the right choice. His emblem threw him for a loop for it was once er emblem save for the obvious differences such as the diamond being bigger and colored red with a dragon in it.

What was more confusing was that Mr. Arc looked like he was experienced with fighting battles for no child that grew up in a peaceful environment would have had eyes like that and the way he was intent on cutting Roman Torchwick down if not for the thief's aura and skill saving him. It was as if the young Arc was used to killing people as he settled for practical unflashy attacks.

Taking a look at the recording on the rooftop, the Headmaster of Beacon's academy looked as for a split-second a soft glow appeared on the Blonde's left hand just as he blocked the attack from heated glass shards, pushing Glynda and Miss Rose away. He instantly knew what would happen meaning he fought similar people before. Taking one last look at the recording, the headmaster lowered the scroll on the desk as his eyes focused on the young man. It was only a few strikes yet Ozpin knew, no... Ozma knew that a skill like that would take a lifetime to learn.

'Who are you, Mr. Arc?'

In a dark void, Jane Arc found himself all alone, covered head to toe in the relics of the Crusader. seeing a taller man in front of him clad to toe in the same relic but one covered in blood. The two removed their helms at the same time only for the Blonde's blue eyes to watch in horror as the man in front of him looked like an older version of himself with his hair turned brown from the dried blood while his armor was covered in dried blood that looked like Rust.

He found himself in front of a throne room, dressed in the steel armor of the Imperial Legion drenched in the blood of countless immortals found in 'Paradise' with a sword biting into the wooden staff held by the golden-skinned knife-eared man dressed in regal robes in front of him. A pair of bodies decorated the room, one pinned on a wall through the head with a spear and the other with a dagger to the throat.

Blue eyes snapped open with a cold sweat as the Hero of Kvatch covered his eyes, his body rising and falling with each breath he took. Taking a step to the washroom, the young blonde turned the faucet. Looking at the mirror, the Second Divine Crusader froze as something was changed. His blue eyes were deeper and he looked 'prettier'. Remembering what Martin/Akatosh said, the Blonde's eyes twitched as he knew there was only one entity that could have done this.

"DIBELLA!"

"Shut it, kid!"

Phew! Finally done! This took me a while to finish lol! Honestly, I originally planned this chapter to have Jaune in a prison cell after allowing himself to get captured by the White Fang where he would end up meeting and saving Whitley but I backed out of it and redid it from scratch. I also tried to have Jaune instantly cut Roman down but decided against it due to Roman being able to catch up with Ruby who had enhanced speed or I would have had Roman be accompanied by Neo who would have saved him but it would reveal or tip Ozpin off too early that Jaune has Aura.

As some of you might have noticed, Jaune became a part of the Mages guild. Jaune is a part or acquainted with most of the factions in Cyrodiil.

He never joined the Dark Brotherhood though.

Now in regards to magic, Jaune is an adept mage but he does not use magic as much just like Witchers. He relies more on his weapons and martial skills. He uses Conjuration the least, only using it for bound equipment while his favorite school is Illusion and Destruction (shock Spells). His armor during the Main questline is the steel armor handed to him by Jauffre until the quest gather allies for Bruma where he used the Blades armor set and weapons to show his allegiance and in the Battle for Bruma where he wore a special set of Legion Steel armor.

Fun fact:

Jaune helped create the organization that would become the Vigilants of Stendarr and it was originally more tolerant but that changed after he died in his battle against Umaril the unfeathered. His death also probably caused the souring of the connection between Cyrodiil and the summerset isles since he was chosen to meet and stomp out any residue of the Mythic dawn in numerous provinces. This may or may not have increased the credibility of Talos' godhood since one of his knights of the nine is from a royal family in the Summerset Isles.

Also, a certain questline in Skyrim was done early and might result in interesting results.

4E 422 27th of Last seed

Jaune Arc arrived in Tamriel exactly one year before the Oblivion crisis and he was found by a Stranger in a random alley in the city of Anvil where he first joined the Thieves Guild as a potential recruit after a week or so.

A former member of the Thieves Guild said that the man who will become the Champion of Cyrodiil reached the rank of Shadowfoot at the start of the 423rd year of the third era

Also during the 422nd year of the 3rd era, Jaune joined the fighter's guild of Anvil where he became a Warder at the end of the year.

3E 423

During the year and until a week before the Oblivion Crisis, Jaune worked through the ranks of both guilds as well as taking care of some excommunicated Dark Brotherhood members from contracts with Ungolim. One of these contracts involved him eradicating the group that would later be known as the Cheydinhal Dark Brotherhood assassins one by one under the guise of several contracts set up by Lucien Lachance where he gained Shadowmere (According to some journals from the Champion himself, She was his greatest companion and friend in Tamriel, which caused a fight between said horse and the future Dragonlord) and several artifacts for his service. Sadly, he was too late to save Lucien Lachance (who was revealed to be a speaker of the Black Hand after the interrogation of several members after a few years) from the real traitor and was left to bury him since he arrived just a few seconds after the rest of the black hand teleported away after cutting through the dark brotherhood assassins guarding the place.

3E 423 27th of last seed

Jaune was thrown into prison after instigating a tavern brawl and with one good hit, he found himself in prison where he was in front of the person he fought with. Jaune follows the Emperor and his guard through the sewers, taking advantage of everything while canvassing a map in his mind about the imperial city sewers until the emperor is killed and he was tasked with delivering the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre.

The oblivion crisis lasted for several months afterward with the Divine Crusader joining the Mages Guild to better counter the threat posed by the Mythic Dawn.

4E 1

During this time, Jaune Arc as the Champion of Cyrodiil, visited the provinces of Skyrim, Summerset Isles, High Rock, Morrowind, and the Black Marsh where he helped repair connections between them and the empire. Jaune Arc stayed in the Province of Skyrim the longest which took about 3 months where he helped build the Hall of the Vigilants and destroyed a castle near Solitude. He stayed the shortest in Black Marsh due to being called back to Cyrodiil to investigate the murders in Anvil as a favor from Count Corvus. Noting the magical aspect of the event, the Divine Crusader asked for the help of the Mage Guild and traveled the province while hunting down the worm king, Mannimarco, and the order of the Black Worm. Despite being offered the position of Archmage, the Champion of Cyrodiil refused the position and prompted to stay as a master wizard of the guild.

Sometime after this, Jaune Arc reformed the Knights of the Nine and battled with the Daedric Horde of Meridia led by Umaril. Jaune Arc fell in the siege battle of Galar Malata.

The knights of the Nine recovered his body and buried him under the priory of the Nine and focused on protecting the Crusader's relics as well as helping the Empire and the Vigilants of Stendarr do their duty until they were forced into hiding during the great war after they refused to denounce Talos and surrendering the corpse of the Divine Crusader, the champion of Akatosh or Auri-el in the elven tongue. With only two knights left from the original reformed order, they and the newest members of the Knights of and took Fort Dawnguard as their castle and assumed the identity of the Dawnguard where they still kept close relations with the vigilants of Stendarr, the companions, and the Dragonlord of Castle Volkihar.

Despite only appearing in Nirn for more or less two years, Jaune Arc is remembered as a hero through different titles and his numerous exploits from becoming the Hero of Kvatch, The first blade of Emperor Martin to being the Rusted knight of the Battle of Bruma.

To this day, The Champion of Cyrodiil is fondly remembered by many, even admired as a champion of Auri-el by the Thalmor despite being Human. Although his remains have been lost to time, his actions and deeds still echo to this day.

Another Fun Fact: Jaune is the champion of numerous Daedric princes but he denounced one of them. I'll let you guess who.

Another very fun Fact: Jaune's symbol is his family's with the Chim-El Adabal or red diamond of the amulet of kings over it with the dragon of the Septim empire over said diamond making it similar to the symbol on Salem's tower

I wonder what is Jaune doing out in Vale at night? And what is this? Glynda is Jaune's aunt!? Why the hell did a portal open near Ruby and Jaune?! Find out more in the next chapter of Knight of the Realm Arc.

"Jaune! What are you doing?"

"Hey, Auntie Glyn!"

"Jaune, there's a pack of wolves surrounding you,"

"It's fine,"

"Wait... are you using a grizzly bear as a couch?"

"They don't bite."

With one step toward her niece, the wolves stood up, baring their teeth at her.

"Stop that, she's my aunt!"

With that word, the wolves reluctantly lowered themselves to the ground but kept their eyes on her as a raven landed on Jaune's shoulder.

"Just make sure you're safe, Jaune,"

See you guys in the next chapter! Feel free to follow, favorite, review, and share if you like! Thanks for reading, bye!
