Aphmau's pov

I looked at Malachi shocked and I bolted out of the house. When I saw Garroth he was farther away and was holding camping equipment. "Garroth!" I called out to him and he turned around. When he saw me he ran. 'Why is he running?' I thought as I chased after him. "Wait, I need to talk to you!" He was getting farther and I picked up the pace. He ran out the gates and ran toward an area I haven't been before.

Then, as I was chasing Garroth I watched as he reached the edge of a cliff. My stomach sunk and I felt a shiver go down my spine. "GARROTH!" He ran off the cliff and I caught up to him. "I'm sorry." I jumped off the cliff. I fell faster and I reached for him. I could tell Garroth was very mad but he grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him. "You idiot!" He yelled and I felt his hand on the back of my head.

My heart started to pound and he pulled my face closer to his. He kissed me softly before out of the corner of my eye, I saw trees. I felt the impact of Garroth hitting the branches and he let out hard breaths. "G-Garroth!" I hugged him and I felt a branch hit across my face and it made my vision go blurry and I couldn't think. I blacked out and dreamed of the moment we fell over, and over again.

I heard birds chirping and I slowly opened my eyes. My vision was still blurry and everything around me was moving. I couldn't focus on just one thing and I closed my eyes again but reopened them. Everything slowly came back into focus and it looked like I was in a ravine just filled with trees. It looked very secluded. 'Garroth.' I remembered what happened and my head shot up from the ground.

Garroth's pov

After I lost consciousness I woke up with a splitting headache. I looked around and noticed my helmet was gone. I looked around and was expecting to see Aphmau. I looked around panicked and saw a girl with black hair laying on the ground a couple feet away from me. I got up surprised that none of my bones were broken and ran towards Aphmau.

She was laying on her stomach and I rolled her over on her back. She had a large whip like mark on her cheek from the branches. "I'm so, so, so sorry." The tears started to flow but I shook them away. I wiped away the lingering blood from the cut and picked her up. I could feel her breathing and I breathed a breath of relief. I bought her to a patch of soft grass.

I moved the hair out of her face and looked around. This place.....I've never seen it here before. I needed to gather supplies because this place looked very secluded and looked hard to get out of. I stood up and gently laid Aphmau's head on the ground. Her soft hair fell out from my fingers and I walked around. I sighed and started to gather branches on the forest flor.

'We need to get back soon before everyone worries' is what I thought 'but what if she hates me after this?' I shook my head and continued to gather wood. Some time had passed and I tried to get back as fast as I could. I saw the sun starting to set and I started to run. I heard a bolt of lightning in the distance and I felt rain fall. I ran faster and when I reached back to the first place, Aphmau was gone.
