Aphmau's pov

"Did Garroth fall somewhere else?" I asked myself as I picked myself off the ground. I looked around me and felt something cold drop on my nose. I looked up and saw storm clouds. Ten seconds of trying to find shelter the rain started to just poor down. There was so much force in the rain drops that it kinda hurt when it hit your skin. As I was running trying to look for shelter, I heard growling.

I looked around a pair of eight red glowing eyes. 'Wolves?!' I thought and I heard growling again. I turned around and started to run, not for shelter but, my life. I ran and ran and I knew when I saw the wall of stone I was trapped. I stood there shaking praying to Irene that Garroth would come. I watched as the wolves slowly closed in around me and I couldn't find my voice to scream.

My tears mixed with the rain and I couldn't see anything because it was all blurry. I heard the wolves all growl and I screamed "GARROTH!" The wolf jumped towards me and I closed my eyes. I heard the wolf yelp and then there was more yelps. I opened my eyes and saw Garroth with his diamond blade slashing at the wolves. Now tears of relief started flowing and Garroth chased off the remaining wolves.

"G-Garroth?" He looked back at me and the rain was still falling. His hair was soaking wet and so was his cloths, not to mention mine. I ran up to him and hugged him. He threw down his sword and hugged me back and said "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to make you think I was gone." I felt him hug tighter and I loved how much he cares about me. "I'm sorry too." He let out a laugh and I felt safe in his arms.

Garroth's pov

It started to rain and I searched everywhere, I couldn't find her. Then, I heard my name being yelled and I ran in that direction. I saw Aphmau cornered and wolves where standing in front of her about to attack. I pulled out my sword and when the first wolf jumped forward, I stabbed it through the gut. It whimpered and I chased off all the other wolves.

I looked back at Aphmau and she was shaking and I couldn't tell if she was crying or it was the rain. She slumped down to her knees and I quickly helped her back up. Her legs where shaking so much that she couldn't walk. I bent down and put my hands on the back of Aphmau's legs. She looked at me and before she could say anything I had picked her up.

"G-Garroth!?" I laughed at her red face and she looked frustrated "Garroth I'm fine." I looked at her and smiled but, I didn't WANT to let her go. I shook my head and she said in a panic "Garroth! Let me down!" She started struggling and I sighed and set her down. She looked relieved and I picked her up once more but this time, I threw her over my shoulder.

I could feel my own face burning red and Aphmau didn't move but instead, I felt her lay her head against my back. "What are you doing?" I looked behind me and she said "Listening to your heart beat. And I think its beating really fast." I narrowed my eyes in a laugh and said "Well yeah, because your here." I didn't mean to say that out loud and my face burned in embarrassment and my heart beat increased.
