Chapter 22- End To The Female Titan

"Don't let her get away!!" Hanji shouted as Annie broke free from the traps and started to run. Your shot an appendage out and swung through the city, seeing the soldiers chasing Annie down.
'Watch out!!' The second voice yelled as you felt your backpack being pulled by the appendages.

Annie tried to swing you around, but your backpack beeped rapidly.
"🄸🄽🄸🅃🄸🄰🅃🄸🄽🄶 🄳🄴🄵🄴🄽🅂🄴 🄼🄾🄳🄴" It called out and quickly detached the appendages from itself. You rolled onto the ground and the concrete scraped on your skin roughly.

"I just ironed this shirt," You hissed in frustration, and checked on your bag.
"You good?" You asked it, and it beeped a yes, making you nod and sigh a little.

"RRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRR!!!!"

Then suddenly, the ground started to shake violently and lightning struck down, and you knew what exactly it was.
"Guess he got his head out of his ass and grew some balls," You said, a little intrigued as Eren ran at full speed towards Annie, striking her face with his fist.

Annie fell down, crashing into a building.
'I'm pretty sure that was a church,' The second voice said.
'Good!' The voice cackled as you rolled your eyes.
"Bp-48, can you still regenerate?" You questioned your bag.

"🄰🄵🄵🄸🅁🄼🄰🅃🄸🅅🄴 🄼🄰🅂🅃🄴🅁 (🅈/🄽), 🅃🄷🄴 🄽🄰🄽🄾🅂 🄰🅁🄴 🅆🄾🅁🄺🄸🄽🄶 🄾🄽 🄸🅃," The bag beeped, and you ran down the rooftops to chase the Titans down, netting Hanji. Armin, and Jean.
"Well I daresay it looks like our boy's in control of himself this time," Hanji declared.
"Yeah. Still though, there's no guarantee this will turn out any differently than their last meeting," Armin mumbled.

"Come on, he wouldn't have transformed unless he knew he could take her this time, he's got this, okay?" Jean huffed out, and you hummed.
"He's using anger and determination to move forward, that's not enough to take someone down," You told them.

"I may not know Annie, but if it were me, I would take her down in a heartbeat," Hanji looked at you, a small swirl in their stomach at your confidence, and Jean had his mouth slightly opened, but gulped and nodded.
"She's making a break for level ground!" A soldier shouted.

"So much for our gear! What now?!" Another hissed as Hanji landed in front of them.
"Split into two teams and go around!" Hanji commanded and the soldiers saluted before flying off.
"My appendages still need repairing, so I'll go on foot," You told the three as you jumped down.

"Wait!! You can't catch up to them in time without gear!!" Armin shouted with worry, and you just looked at up at him before you tapped your boot against the other, and wheels popped out from under.
"Wheels on shoes bitches," You said as you started to roll down the street.

'Of course! These boots are more than paw prints! Heelys and much more!' The second voice said with happiness. You rolled into an alleyway as Eren began throwing punches at Annie, roaring with anger.
'Look who it is!!' The voice shouted, and you turn your head to see a body moving on the ground.

You hummed and rolled over to see that it was someone you recognized.
"You need help?" You tilted your head towards Mikasa, who shakily looked up and hissed in pain.
"(Y-Y/N)..." She breathed out, trying to stand up. You looked up to see the Titans still fighting.

"Come," You crouched down and picked the girl up, making her gasp and reactively wrapped her arms around your shoulders.
"Your friend is being a gnat, and he doesn't know he's killing innocent people," You mumbled as you began to roll down the streets again.

Mikasa didn't say anything as she kept holding onto you.
'They... they feel...' Mikasa tried to shake these thoughts away, she doesn't want to... to think of you any more than a murderer, yet.. you held her not like a victim to your torture, but a scared child, being comforted by a parent.

Without realizing it, she leaned her head against your chest, and close her eyes for a moment as you kept in rolling down and saw Annie punching Eren's head to oblivion, but she didn't hear it. She didn't hear anything as she felt her face heat up.

'They feel... so warm...'

"The hell is happening? Is Yeager boy going Godzilla on Annie?" You asked as you managed to jump onto a rooftop and set Mikasa down.
"God what?" Jean mumbled, but you just shook your head.
"With the state he's in, it's probably best that we keep our distance," Hanji explained as Mikasa watched in horror as Eren gripped his hand on Annie's head squeezing it until it exploded.

"...heh..." The soldiers looked at you as you gave a somewhat of a laugh, being amused of the situation. Eren was thrown off of Annie as she crystallized her fingers, and ran up to grip the walls.
"She's headed up the wall!" Jean shouted.
"She's trying to escape!" Hanji hissed as Eren got back up and pulled her off of the wall by biting her leg.

"We can't let her get away!" Armins yelled as you looked at Mikasa, and titled your head to Annie's direction. Mikasa knew what you meant and used her gear to head to the wall. Mikasa sliced Annie's fingers off and Annie literally lost her grip, and started to fall. Mikasa landed on her face and stared at her.

"Annie... fall," And with that, Mikasa jumped off as Annie fell on her back, causing Eren to jump crawl towards her, screaming and began biting and punching.

'Die...'

'All of you...'

'LEAVE ME AND MY PREY!!'

"He's gonna devour her whole!" Hanji shouted in a panic as Eren opened his mouth all the way and leaned to Annie's nape.
'That's bullshit!! He's being a little bitch boy!!' The voice groaned as Eren but the skin off, and Annie laid stuck there.

Then, a blinding blue light filled your vision, and you squinted your eyes to see that both Titan's' skins were fusing.
"They're merging?" Armin said in shock.
"Okay, now this is bullshit,' Your grumbled as Annie covered herself with crystals.

'Look! Up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane?!' The voice shouted and you looked up.
'No! It's-'
"Shut the fuck up you idiots," You hissed to your voices as Levi sliced Eren's nape, making him come out.

You hopped down with the others as you walked over to the hint crystal.
"Is... she?" Petra mumbled as you shrugged.
"Bp-48, do a vital scan," The bag beeped and quickly scanned the crystal.

"🄰🄻🄻 🅅🄸🅃🄰🄻🅂 🅂🅃🄴🄰🄳🅈, 🅂🅄🄱🄹🄴🄲🅃 🅁🄴🄼🄰🄸🄽🅂 🅃🄾 🄱🄴 🅂🅃🄰🄱🄻🄴" The bag responded, and Jeaned scowled at that.
"Damn it! All the shit we've been through and this is what we get?! Annie! Wake up!" He shouted as he tried to stab the crystal with his broken blade.

"C'mon, face the music! You owe us! Don't be a coward! I know you can hear me!" He demanded from the comatose girl.
"Jean please!" Marco grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
"Someone get me a wire net! This thing belongs deep underground!" Hanji told everyone.

You simply stared at the girl in the crystal, seeing her face fully and simply hummed.

"There can only be one murderer,"

"Cannibal!!" Tenko cried as he ran towards you, tackling to hug your waist and rub his head against your stomach.
"Hey," You laid a hand on his head, as the sun sets over the walls.
"I thought you got seriously hurt! I'm sorry I wasn't there!" He cried, and you just crouched down to his level.

"It wasn't like you would've done anything useful," You shrugged as he gave a giggle.
"Still, I would've cheered you on," He smiled, and you just nodded.
"You really think there are more Titan's shifters out there?" He asked you as he looked above the walls.

"It's not my words for you to believe what's out there, but..." You follows his gaze as you took a deep breath.
"I would say that there is," Tenko smiled again, and started to scratch his hands, you noticing and tapped his head.

"And... here..." You stared at the ground as your bag had an appendage bring out something from your bag. Tenko tilted his head, a little confused as what he was seeing, but soon his eyes widened.
"Is that...?" He trailed off as you scratched your cheek with your index finger, clearing your throat.

"If you say anything else, the suicide pack will begin now," You threatened, the appendage lowering to give Tenko a big, yet worn out plushie.

A corgi plushie.

"You keep surprising me Cannibal," He said as he gently grabbed the plushie.
"Thank you," He immediately slammed his face against the corgi plush and giggled, which made you stare at him.
"I'll name him after my idol! Sadi! Short for sadistic!!" Tenko declared and spun around.

You just stared at him, seeing him play around with your childhood corgi plush. Given by your father, you felt a twinge in your chest.

"Tenko... never change..."
