Chapter 19- Proving Your Capability

"The fuck happened?" You yawned as you and Petra made it to the rest of the squad.
"(Y/N)! Where the hell were you?! All of that and you just came back like nothing happened?!" Oluo shouted at you angrily.
"I came back when you all were going to die dumbass. I saw everything that went down so I want to know why Yeager boy changed?" You simply said while taking a step closer.

"Don't fight right now! Eren is fighting the Female Titan at the moment so don't give a shit where they were! Be thankful that they saved us!" Petra argued, making the rest of the squad surprised at her cussing and outburst.
"Yeah! We have a Titan boy to save!" Tenko smiled widely with a raised fist.

"They're right. Don't fight on useless stuff and let's save Eren by warning the others!" Gunther exclaimed commanded as they all got ready to swing to find help.
"(Y/N)! What about you?" Eld suddenly asked you, making you turn to him.
"What does it look like? Going to get the Yeager boy. He ain't useful if he's dead," You said as if it was obvious.

"Take Tenko as well. He gets a little shout when we swig around," You picked Tenko off of you and pushed him towards Eld.
"Be careful Cannibal!" Tenko said as you shot a metal appendage out of your bag and it clung onto a branch.

Eld's eyes widen as he witness you fly around without ODM gear, but shook it away and picked up Tenko.
"Let's go kid!" He shouted and swung away. Tenko looked back to see you jumping from branch to branch, and he cuddled closer to the soldier.

"Be careful..."

"Hey," Levi immediately turned his head to see you flying above him and Mikasa, and he tsked.
"Where the hell have you been?" He demanded as Mikasa turn and gave you a glare.
"Don't give a shit about me, give a shit about Yeager boy," You simply said as the three of you swung across the trees.

"The Female Titan is trying to get away from here as much as possible the moment she bit into the nape of Yeager boy. If she exits the forest then you are all screwed," You explained as the female Titan kept on running off. Mikasa glared at you, but nodded anyways.
"So we have to get Eren before it's too late," She simply said.

"Alright, you both distract her while I do the cutting," Levi huffed out.
'Since when did We agree on obeying his orders?' The voice scoffed, but you rolled your eyes and thrusted a metal appendage into the bark.
"You want distraction?" Your bag itself pulled out some little metal balls and you grabbed them, pressing a button and they started to beep.

"I'll give you one," Flying forward in front of the Titan, your twisted your body and faced her, throwing the metal balls at her. The Female Titan tried to swipe it away, but the beeping from the trinket halted.

BOOM

Sparks of big explosions burst out as the Titan was immediately surrounded by steam. Mikasa's eyes widen slightly as the Titan tried to swing a punch at nothing, fearing that Levi was near. The man was near, and immediately sliced her arms open.
'Now that's impressive,' The second voice said with interest as Levi kept on slicing every limb, including the eyes.

You swung around a branch as the Female Titan fell, arms falling to the side. Just as you were about to say something, Mikasa swung down to the nape and tried to slice it open, but then the Titan's hand rose up to swat her. You watched as Levi pushed her off, and he hissed in pain as he landed on the arm, appearing to twist his foot.

"Dumbasses..." You hissed as you swung down to push Levi off so she won't crush him, using the metal appendage to slice open the Female Titan's mouth once again.
"Eren!!" Mikasa shouted as you used another appendage to wrap around Eren's saliva covered body, and jumped to a branch.

"Absolute dumbasses, both of you. There's a time to get revenge and a time to fucking do your job," You hissed at Mikasa.
"You could've died and you wouldn't have save him," You noticed Mikasa flinched at that part as you turn to Levi.

"Don't twist your foot like a child again," You said and struck an appendage out to grab the trees. You gave them one last look and hopped down, before the appendage pulled your up and swung off.

"Yeager boy... you're also a dumbass,"

The remaining soldiers stood on the fields, sitting down after what happened and feeding their horses.
"Unfortunately, I am alive," You hummed as you turn to see Eld and the Levi squad looking around, bowing their head at the dead bodies.

"Canni!!" Tenko beamed brightly as he ran over to you, hugging you tightly.
"You're not dead," You mumbled as the squad turn to see you, standing above Tenko, but then soon kneeling down and patted his head softly. Tenko giggled.
"Nope!" He smiled as you closed your eyes, and the squad gave a small smile.

"We're alive... but at what cost?" Marco mumbled to Sasha as they both watched you, and Jean turn his head slightly, only to look away.
"So many bodies... they didn't deserve this," Tenko mumbled at the sight of the blanket covered bodies.
'I agree... they really didn't,' The second voice sighed.

'They chose this path... they knew what would happen,' The voice simply said, but the tone was distant.
"(Y/N)," You stood up from your kneeling position and turn to see Mikasa standing in front of you, and she looked down.

"...Thank you. For helping to save Eren," She mumbled quietly, and you just stared at her for a moment.
"Hm," You hummed at her, and shuffled your hands into your pockets.
"Rely on strategy, or you might as well have a suicide note in your pocket," You told her, and she hissed lowly, now regretting thanking you.

"You scares me back there kid," She looked up at you, a little confused as toilet Tenko clutch on your pants, placing a hand on his head.
"You're strong for a human, and you surviving this far is impressive considering your impulsive reactions. So do me a favor and stop being like Yeager boy, you're more amazing than him," And with that, you turned with Tenko, walking away.

Mikasa stood there as everyone started to get on their horses, and she stared at you picking up Tenko with your metal appendage to place him on the wagon.
'Nice one,' The voice said with mischief.

'They... they really care about us,'

"Cannibal! Behind us!!" Tenko shouted from his wagon, and you turn to see two soldiers running away with a dead body, away from abnormal Titans.
"Titans incoming!!" One of them shouted in a panic, which caused someone pull a red flare.

"Full speed!! All soldiers!!" Erwin yelled out, but you just grabbed Tenko with the appendage and placed him in front of you.
"W-what-!"
"Take the horse, slow him down but make him keep running," You simply said as you steadily stood up on the horse's back.

"(Y/N)!! What are you doing?!" Sasha shouted, panicking at your actions.
"Oi!! What are you doing?!" Levi yelled as everyone turn their heads to see your horse slowing down behind everyone, with you on the wagon and facing the Titans.

'W-what... what are they doing?!' Armin thought with
"They can't possibly be as suicidal as Yeager?!" Jean hissed out as they watched in horror. You swung your bag in front of you and dug around for a moment.
'Are we?! Going to do the thing?!' The voice asked with excitement.

"If we're not dead before this whole thing," You retorted as Tenko looked back in fear.
"Cannibal! They're getting closer!" He cried out, seeing the Titan's hand reaching out. Mikasa's eyes widen, seeing everything in slow motion as she turned her horse to go after you.

'What... why am I... moving towards them?' She thought as she got her blades out, ready to charge, and a swirl of emotions was in her stomach.
'Don't let them die... don't let them die!' She tried to shake away these thoughts, trying to only think of Eren... but...

"(Y/N)!!"

Z A P

Without even blinking, you reeled back your hand from your bag, having a mechanical glove on you, and with one quick motion, the gloves sparked with electricity and the center of the glove glowed a bright white color.

It shot out a huge amount of electricity, hitting inches away from the two Titans, hitting near trees and causing them to crack and land on top of the Titans, blocking their way and allowed you all to escape.
"Now go faster," You mumbled, and Tenko heard you, making the horse run faster and along side the soldiers.

Armin's eyes widen as your performance, how calm you were, how quick you reacted... how amazing you looked while doing so. Sasha and Marco watched in awe, they gulped the air that was stuck in their throats. The Levi squad was in shock, and Erwin and Levi?... They...

'What a reaction...'
