Part three

TW- mention of hiring someone to make someone unalive

Remus sat in his room. It was storming, and he didn't feel like walking over twenty minutes to go to his coffee shop. He tapped his fingers against his keys, not actually typing anything. He had been talking with Logan, talking about all the bad weather.

I thought you liked the rain?

Remus hummed a bit, listening to the rain thud against his window.

I do, but not when I can't get to the coffee shop

Coffee shop?

Remus hesitated, he trusted Logan, yes, it had been almost a week since they had started to talk, but he was still nervous.

Yeah, I go there a lot to write

That's nice, I'm guessing this awful weather is keeping you away from it?

Yeah, plus my friend told me if I went over he'd personally hire a hit man to just keep me at home haha

Well, let's hope he doesn't do that, I quite enjoy your company

Remus blushed, looking away and back at his doc. He typed a bit, before looking at Logans texts again.

I like your company too

Remus blushed at the text he had just sent, shaking his head.

What if we traded numbers? So we didn't have to use this site?

Remus paused at his own suggestion. He didn't know where that came from, but he sighed, no going back now.

That seems ideal

The two traded numbers, and Logan had already texted just to make sure it worked.

Hello Remus. I assume you know it's me.

Yeah, hi Logan

Remus smiled, continuing to talk with Logan for the next hour before seeing the time and the fact he hadn't eaten. He sighed, getting up and going to his kitchen.

"Let's see... what do I have..." He found some cereal, pouring some out and just eating it dry. It was better sometimes. He walked back to his room, sitting at his laptop while reading something Logan had texted him. He frowned as Logan said he had to go do something, and turned off his phone. He sighed. "Well, I do have to get this done anyways" He mumbled, slowly typing away at his doc.

"Yo Remus!" Virgil called into Remus' house. Remus sighed.

"What?" He asked, getting up and going to the front room. "What do you want?" Virgil laughed.

"I had an idea!" He grinned, putting his umbrella next to the door. Remus raised a brow, checking his phone again just to see if Logan had texted. "Well, you've been talking with Logan for a while, what if you met up! Like face to face!" Remus looked at him unimpressed.

"You bussed to my house to tell me that?" Virgil laughed, nodding.

"I'm serious! You should ask!" Remus looked to the side, shrugging.

"Virgil, I've met the man not long ago, its still early" Virgil laughed, nudging his shoulder.

"That hasn't stopped you before though! Come on, you obviously like him..." Virgil pointed out, hopping up on the counter.

"Yeah, well, that was before everything" Virgil sighed softly, nodding.

"You shouldn't let that stop you, here's lets go over pros and cons" Remus nodded. "Give me a con."

"I barely know him"

"What's his favorite color? Drink? Movie?"

"Blue, black coffee, Big hero 6" Remus listed off before blushing. "That proves nothing."

"Full name?"

"Logan açaí berry" Remus said again, "Still means nothing" Virgil raised a brow.

"Mhm, sure. What's another con?"

"What if he doesn't want to meet and thinks I'm clingy?"

"That seems like a worry but we can go with it. Has he ever mentioned anything along the lines of you begin clingy or annoying or really anything negative? Has he given off the hint of any of that?" Remus slowly shook his head.

"No..."

"Then I don't see why he would think such a thing" Virgil paused. "Does he know your an author?"

"He knows I write, but I don't know if he figured it out or not"

"I can always just... happen to be close by then if you wanted" Remus thought it over, nodding.

"I guess so..."

"Does that mean you'll at least ask him?" Virgil asked hopefully, he hadn't seen Remus so happy in a long time. He nodded slowly, sitting up on the counter across from Virgil with his phone.

"Can you at least write the text?" Remus mumbled a bit, looking at the floor. Virgil nodded, taking the phone.

"Dont worry about it, if I could score myself a therapist with mostly texts, I'm sure I can get you a hang out time with a nerd" Virgil laughed. Remus groaned.

"Shut up"
