I woke up the next morning with a small smile on my face, knowing that I destroyed some of the bigger parts of the terrorist group. I got up and got dressed after doing my normal morning stuff. I then went down to the cafeteria to find that RWBY wasn't there. It was somewhat peculiar to not see them there.

"Morning, Y/n!" A small voice came behind me. I jumped a bit in shock before looking behind me to see the girls of team RWBY. I forgot to look at my watch. I looked down at it, as it seemed that I was earlier than normal days.

"Morning, team RWBY." I said to them. I looked at Ruby's hands and smiled. I realized that I was letting them come to close to my heart. Looking at Ruby's hands made me realized why I was here... It had to be soon. I went out and grabbed my coffee and cereal before sitting at the usual table. RWBY sat with me after getting their food.

"So... What happened to you yesterday? You kinda disappeared." Ruby asked me.

"I was kidnapped by the White Fang." I said plainly. Blake spat out her food.

"What!?" Her eyes widened in shock when she heard me say that.

"Yes. One of them drugged me and brought me to a warehouse/hangar. I killed several members, and some higher ups. Let's see. Emerald, Mercury. Roman, and Cinder are now all gone. I believe that the structure of the terrorist group will soon die down to a minimum." I drank my coffee.

"Y-You killed them?"

"Yep..."

"Finally someone is doing something around here." Weiss said putting her hands on her hips.

"Good job, Y/n!" Ruby cheered. Yang playfully punched my shoulder and gave me a thumbs up.

"Speaking of disappeared, where have team CRDL been? They haven't showed up to any of the classes or the cafeteria in several days."

"Yeah, and Coco is worried about Velvet. She hasn't came back in a while either."

"I don't know. Maybe team CRDL quit and Velvet just went home for a bit to see family. I know she's so dedicated to her school work, and being an upperclassman, it can be a struggle." I said. I then realized Coco was her teammate. I'd like to try a rich girl's hand. Not Weiss's.. She's a pain...

"Probably so. That's what I'd do." Yang looked at me.

"Right.." I looked away.

"H-Hey... Ummm Y/n... " - "You got this, sis.." - "I was thinking... do you maybe wanna go get some cookies s-sometime?" Ruby winced, preparing for a denial, as Yang was encouraging her. She was... asking me out to eat? What... This is a first... Hmmmm. What do I do? If I accept, I could get her alone and do it there...

"S-"

"-Will team RWBY please come to Ozpin's office?" The intercom alerted inside the mess hall with Glynda's voice. Ruby held her head down in defeat as Yang laughed and patted her back.

"It's okay, Ruby. You'll get'em next time." She said as everyone but me stood up and left.

*To Team RWBY*

They walked along the courtyard to Ozpin's office.

"I was so close..."

"Don't feel too bad, I bet he would have said yes. He's such a nice guy." Yang smiled at her little sister, rubbing the top of her head.

"I for one think he's a little too old and mature for you, Ruby. I think he'd be perfect for me since he's always so nicely dressed and organized. He also gets things done when things need to be." Weiss said.

"What? I should totally be with him. He and I could trample an entire field of Grimm within minutes. We both are a powerhouse of strength." Yang punched her fists together.

"He's mature and intelligent. He also cares about everyone, ignoring the fact that some are Faunus."

"Yeah... he really is a cool guy, isn't he?" Ruby's face turned a bit red.

"You know, I think it's weird that the White Fang kidnapped him." Blake looked up to the sky and thought.

"Huh? How so?" Yang asked her.

"I mean, why would you wanna kidnap someone?"

"For a ransom?" Weiss guessed.

"Recruitment?" She guessed again.

"Bingo." Blake answered.

"So they wanted Y/n to join their ranks because he was strong, but he declined and killed them?" Yang asked.

"Also bingo."

"Jeez... By himself? He really is strong!" Yang got fired up. They finally got to the office building and went up to the elevator to Ozpin's office.

"Good morning, Team RWBY." He sat in his office chair, drinking his hot cocoa. Everyone greeted him in their own way.

"Why did you call us up here?" Ruby asked the headmaster.

"It's about Y/n."

"Y/n?"

"Yes. I want you to follow him and watch him. I'm beginning to believe that he isn't the student we all thought he was."

"What? That doesn't seem right. He's such a nice guy, there's no way he'd do anything bad to good people."

"Now, Miss Rose, I know you and your team have good relations with him, but I personally do not think he is who he says he is. I would like for you to look into him. I also believe that he might know the cause of the disappearances of our students. He might even be the cause. That's why I'm giving you the task of following him." Ozpin pushed up his glasses.

"Whatever you say, Professor Ozpin." Blake shrugged.

"Thank you, girls. I hope you find evidence of anything." He said as they left. As they went down the elevator, they talked about what just happened.

"So.... He wants us to follow Y/n around to see if he's behind the missing students?" Blake asked the team.

"Apparently...."

"I don't see why, though. He wouldn't do anything wrong. He's such a respectful and nice guy." Weiss said.

"I agree, but whatever the Professor wants, he'll get I guess." Blake shrugged again.

"I'll do it." Ruby said.

"Huh?" Her team looked down at her.

"I'll be the one to follow him, by myself."

"I don't think that's safe."

"I mean, he isn't bad, right? So I should be fine. I can get closer to him as well and ask him again, too!" Ruby thought of the ideal plan.

"Well, she is small, and fast. Even if Y/n were the bad guy here, he wouldn't be able to catch her." Blake spoke to Yang.

"True... Alright, Ruby, We're counting on you." Everyone held their thumbs up, showing Ruby that they accepted her plan.

"YESSSS!!! Secret stealth Ruby!!" She posed like a spy as everyone laughed.

*Back To Y/n*

I sat in my dorm, thinking about what to do. I wanted my next target to be Coco instead of Ruby. Her time will come after Coco. I wanted to go out into the city and purchase some new shoes. The ones I was wearing now are getting ratty and uncomfortable. I went out into the bustling town of Vale in search of some shoe stores to find me a new pair when the girl came into my eyesight. Coco was looking through the window. This was the perfect chance. I walked up to her and looked at what she was looking at. It was a cool looking outfit.

"Hmm. I'd say that'd look quite nice on you." She turned her head to me.

"Hmph.. Nice pick up line, buddy, use it often?" She smirked a bit, lifting her glasses up a bit.

"Well, it was actually the first time I used it. Did it work?" I asked.

"You got my attention. Aren't you the guy in the solo team? Y/n, Right? You always wear the sharpest clothes."

"Yes, ma'am. You must be Coco, part of Velvet's team."

"Right... speaking of Velvet, have you seen her? She's been missing for the past couple days."

"No, sadly. She and I went on a stroll the other evening and she ran off when it was getting to late. I have no clue where she could be." I lied straight to her face. She put her fingers to her chin and thought.

"She'll probably turn up soon. What are you doing in Vale?"

"You see, my shoes are getting worn from constant use, so I wanted to find a new pair. Luckily enough, I think I found someone who knows their way around some stores." I had a small smirk. All she needed to do was take the bait. She giggled a bit.

"Don't mind if I do." She grabbed on to my arm and dragged me to a store.

*To Ruby Rose*

As her team was back in their dorm, Ruby went down to Vale to follow me. She saw Coco and I go into a shoe store as she looked at her scroll. Yang sent her a message.

'We're heading out to Emerald forest for some Grimm killing. Good luck on figuring Y/n out.'

Ruby sent an 'ok' back and put her scroll away. She got on the rooftops and went to the one across the road from the shoe store.

"Hmmm.... He looks like he's just trying to get new shoes. Nothing wrong with that." She smiled.

*To Y/n and Coco*

A couple minutes in the store later, Coco and I both walked out holding a 'couple' shoeboxes.

"Man, I love a good shopping spree. They had a lot on sale today." She held 4 shoeboxes where as, I held 1.

"I can agree. I purchased these shoes for a couple hundred lien instead of the thousands." I looked at her hands that were carrying the shoeboxes., seeing the polish on her nails.

"I must say, your nails match you quite perfectly."

"What... are you tryin to hit on me now?" She chuckled.

"No, I just think they're pretty." I shrugged.

"That's cute, real cute. I'm sold with you. Wanna go grab some food or something?" She asked me.

"Sure... I'm in the mood for something sweet." I held my stomach.

"I know a good place for ice cream down close to the docks. Follow me." She said as she led me along.

*To Ruby Rose*

"It seems that they're going towards the docks. What is he planning?" Ruby got up from her position and followed the us by rooftop down throughout Vale until she stopped when we got to the parlor.

"Ohhh, they're just getting ice cream. I see. I don't understand why Ozpin wanted us to look out for Y/n. As we said, he's a nice guy." She then held her nose.

"Ugh... Smells fishy...." She shook her head and ignored the smell, watching us eat ice cream by the docks.

*To Y/n and Coco*

We stood at the railings, watching the ships go by as we ate our ice cream. Coco had rocky road and I had plain old vanilla, the best kind of course.

"You know, you're as nice as everyone else says you are."

"Thanks."

"To be honest... I think you're pretty cool." She put her left hand on my right. It was time....

*To Ruby Rose*

She watched as Coco disappeared in an instant by the atomization of my ability. The only thing left of her, was her hand that I was holding. The ice cream that Coco held, fell into the ocean. Her eyes opened widely in shock. She couldn't fathom what she just saw. She fell on her butt and got back up quickly, running back to a bullhead as fast as she could. She didn't notice that her scroll fell out and was on the ground in front of the ice cream parlor.

"Crap! Ozpin was right!!! He was.... he was the reason behind the missing students." Ruby started shedding tears as she ran. When she got to the nearest bullhead, she took it to Beacon. Then, she ran as fast as she could, up to her dorm. When she went in, no one was there, they must've been out still. She reached for her scroll, only for it not to be there.

"No... no way... did I leave it at the docks?" She punched herself in the head with anger.

"It's okay... I'll just wait for them to come back." She said to herself. She started crying, knowing that the guy she liked, was a murderer.

*To Y/n*

I looked behind me to see a scroll in front of the parlor, on the ground. I put the hand in my messenger bag, and walked over, picking up the scroll. Luckily, it was unlocked. I read the messages that Ruby and Yang have been sending each other.

"Shit... It seems they are on to me. I need to go back, and fast." I threw the scroll into the ocean, deactivating its use, and walked quickly to the nearest bullhead station, which then took me all the way back to Beacon. When I got back, I ran to my own dorm to hide. Suddenly, I heard a heavy knock on my door. I calmly and collectively walked over to it, opening it to see that it was Ruby. She had tears in her eyes and a face of anger.

"You.... YOU.... YOU KILLED THEM!!! YOU KILLED THEM!!!!" She tried to punch me. I backed up a bit.

"I have no clue what you're talking about, Ruby. I wouldn't do such a thing." I acted defensive, trying to trick the younger student.

"NO!! I SAW YOU!! YOU KILLED COCO!! I'M TELLING OZPIN!!!" She yelled. She was about to run out the door. I had one option left. I summoned Killer Queen, and it grabbed her by her head, lifting her up before she ran out.

"LET ME GO!! LET ME---*BOOM*!!!" A large explosion caused the young girl's life to end right then and there. Her body disappeared from existence. I let out a large sigh... I then realized that her team were going to come back soon and see her gone...

"Shit.... Shit.... SHIT!!!" I started to panic. I bit at my fingers to the point that they were going to bleed.

"I.... have that other option... That only option... I can fix this... I, Y/n L/n always has a plan to fix any situation that I get into...."

"KILLER QUEEN!!!" It came out and activated a specific bomb. Everything went white......
