"Hold still Rania!" Mahum says with a sigh as all three sisters continue prodding at my face. I squirm some more thought when the smell of make up becomes too strong. "Gahh what is this!" I yell out as one of them coats my face with a shiny powder thingie. Maira rolls her eyes and says, "it's called bronzer and it makes your cheekbones pop."

"I don't want my cheekbones poppin!" I yell out as she continues to dab it on.

My room has never been messier. There are makeup supplies in ever corner and clothes littered everywhere from when I had to pack yesterday. I was woken up this morning  by the sisters themselves who claimed they needed all day to prepare me for the wedding which is later at night. It took us at least a whole two hours to clean the living room downstairs and after that I was told to shower and put on special rose scented body washes.

Because apparently Maaz likes the smell of roses.

I sure did put a lot of that on after Maira told me that.

Now there's only two hours left till the time I'm a married woman and I can't help but panic. "Does he snore?" I randomly ask as they shut my eyes and start putting makeup on them.

"Nope." One of them says, and I smile to myself.

"Have you guys seen the apartment yet?" I ask and one of them says, "yeah, it's absolutely gorgeous."

"And very secluded." Maira says wiggling her eyebrows, I blush and roll my eyes at her as Mahum slaps her shoulder and tells her to be quiet.

After a few more minutes they let me go and smile widely at me, "you're ready."

I give them a look and say, "I'm still in my pajamas," gesturing to the tank top and loose pajama pants.

"We meant your face is ready," Mahum says with a laugh. At that moment Aunty comes into my room with a bag in her hand. She gasps at the sight of me and says, "wow MashAllah you're even more gorgeous now Rania." She gives me a light kiss on the cheek and I say thank you. I have yet to see my face but the siblings took all my mirrors away, exclaiming that I couldn't see until I was the final product.

She holds up the bag and says, "look what came in," I open it and smile giddily as the white dress that looked so beautiful online was right there in front of me, even more beautiful in person.

We all squeal and then have a group hug before I'm pushed into the guest room to start changing. The siblings already have their dresses on and while I put the dress on they're doing their own makeup.

Once I'm in the room I hold the dress out infront of me and can't help but smile really widely as I look over it. I still can't get the fact that I'm marrying Maaz through my head. The boy that used to throw mud balls at me, the boy that once cut half my hair off because it was on his desk, the boy that I absolutely despised. And now that I love.

I pull the dress on gently, it fits perfectly, hugging my curves loosely and ending just below my ankle. I notice the sleeves have tiny designs on them and it looks like a steady hand was needed for this. I smile to myself and twirl a bit, a little note falls out and I carefully bend down to grab it.

Sleeves done by my amazing husband, Asher with some help from our four children, Ziya, Mehdi, Ali and Safa
Much love!

I smile as I read the note and gently place it in my bag for safe keeping.

I run my hands over the dress once more before walking out the room and re-entering mine. As I close the door behind me they all turn their heads with their eyes wide. "Woah Rania," Minha says as she comes closer and looks the dress over.

"You look like an absolute angel MashAllah," Aunty says with tears in her eyes, I blush and say thank you as Maira says, "Maaz will probably faint after seeing you tonight."

I hug them all while saying thank you and right at that second, Laith opens the door, "Maaz says he needs you guys," he says gesturing to the siblings, they nod and take their mom with them.

After they leave Laith comes over and hugs me really tight, "you grew up too fast." I sniffle the tears away and say, "you're the best brother anyone can ever wish for."

He gives me a light kiss on his forehead and says, "if he ever hurts you, I will literally smash all his bones," I laugh a teary laugh and say, "I don't doubt that."

My room door opens again and Maya and her sister Zermeen enter, I hug them both as they say their salaam's.

Laith awkwardly nods and smiles at Zermeen as she does the same. Maya and I roll our eyes at them, "you both look really nice." Laith says with a smile. Maya looks gorgeous with her hair curled and a nice purple dress, while her sister looks absolutely stunning in a black and silver maxi and her face flawless, I can sure see why Laith acts like a middle school boy around her.

"So do you Laith," Zermeen says with a small smile, Laith blushes and rubs the back of his neck mumbling a small thank you.

Maya and I give each other a look as they continue blushing and smiling awkwardly. After a few more minutes of this I push Laith out the room.

"Wow Rania I didn't even look at you properly, you look beautiful MashAllah," Zermeen says and I say thank you just as Maya says, "you didn't see properly because you were too busy ogling her brother."

(A/N IAmACaticorn and That_Geek_Girl786 this sounds like the two of you XD)

"Oh shut up," Zermeen says with a slight red tone to her cheeks. We all laugh and talk until the siblings, their mother and grandma enter my room.

I'm reseated onto my chair and Zermeen starts on my hijab. After a few minutes she puts the final pin and stands back, "tada!" The rest of the group stops their gossiping and turns to me. Immediate smiles erupt on their faces and I take that as a good sign.

The nerves jumble up in my stomach as I realize it's actually happening. I pinch my arm to make sure I'm not dreaming and once I feel the sharp pain of it I grin widely.

Maaz's pov

"Ouch Laith, not that tight." I say as he pulls on the end of my tie really hard. He laughs and says, "sorry pal."

I roll my eyes knowing that's not a genuine sorry. After he's done with it he stands back and pats my shoulders. "Is this when you give me a huge speech on how you love her so much and that if I do anything wrong I'll die?" I say with a small smirk on my face.

He rolls his eyes and says, "it seems like you already know so just keep the last thought in mind." He makes a pounding motion with his fist and winks at me.

I laugh as my father comes into the living room looking all spiffy and professional in his suit. A lot of people say I got my looks from him, the sharp jawline and the dark blue eyes. I wouldn't say he's a jolly man but he knows when to loosen up and when to become the boss. At this time he was all smiles, "Laith my boy, how are you?"

Laith turns around and says, "Asalamalaikum Uncle, I'm great Alhamdulillah, how are you?"

"Walaikumasalam, good, good, Maaz are you ready?" He says smiling at me and putting his hands on my shoulders. He does the whole parent inspecting their young ones thing and then pats my back, "you grew up to be a fine man." He says and gives me a hug before starting a small conversation with Laith.

I leave them be and head up to my room to grab Rania's ring. I had picked it up yesterday, all by myself which I was very proud off. Usually I would ask for my sisters opinions on jewelry for the other gender but this time I was sure she would like it.

I clasped it in my hand and smiled gently at it, looking through the the window at her closed one, all the past memories rushed past me. From the day she moved in next door until three days ago when the three words drifted out her mouth.

I felt like a wimp standing there thinking about how in just a few minutes I'm going to be married to the most gorgeous woman on Earth.

I looked around my room one last time before closing the door and making my way downstairs.

"You ready Maaz?" Laith says with a genuine smile on his face as he and my father wait at the door for me. I nod my head grinning and say, "been ready my whole life."

Rania's pov

I take the last step down the stairs and turn into the living room where the sofas have been pushed back and small majority of guest are sitting, Atif Aslam's voice sings though the tiny speakers behind the sofas and I grin as Laith appears by my side.

He gives me a small hug before leading me in. I meet the striking blue eyes of Maaz's and it seems as if my grin has gotten wider, he looks as if he swooned a bit before regaining himself, he smiles widely while placing his chin into this palms and staring at me the whole way to my seat beside him.

"Hey." He whispers to me as the guests start clapping. I smile in return. His shoulder brushes past mine and a jumble of butterflies erupt in my shoulder, Maaz looks so hot I have to hold the urge to jump onto him.

"You look beautiful." He says, his breath fanning over my cheek. I blush and look away, my eyes catch his fathers and I give him my salaam's.

The music slows down and before I know it, we are listening to the Maulvi (priest) recite, my hand moves on its own as I sign the marriage papers and by the end of it all Maaz and I are a married couple and my face hurts from smiling too much.

As Maaz finishes signing, duaas are recited and then the celebrations begin. The music turns up louder as some of guests start dancing. I'm actually glad for a big house. Nobodies squished and everyone is moving freely.

I laugh as Maaz is pulled up by Laith and his father and forced to start dancing. But before I can begin to laugh at their weird dance moves I'm pulled up by his sisters and over to the small woman group that has joined. Their grandma is pulling some hard on dance moves and everyone claps along as she moves her whole body in awkward moves.

I'm then pushed into Maaz, he wraps his hands around my waist and I place my hands on his shoulders, he's about to say something when Laith suddenly says, "no touching!" Zermeen slaps his shoulder and says, "you idiot, they just got married!" We all laugh as Laith rubs his neck embarrassed.

Maaz and I slow dance in the middle of the living room as he mumbles sweet words into my ear. "Maaz-" I get cut off as the music suddenly stops and a familiar voice yells, "what the hell is going on here!?"

I turn my head to find my parents standing here with tired faces and luggage bags. The guests stay quiet and Maaz's arm wraps tighter around my waist.

Unwanted tears block my vision but I try to keep them at bay, Laith finally steps forward and says, "what are you guys doing here?"

"Laith. This is our house, what do you mean by what are you doing here?!" My father yells as he glares at him, I step forward and feel the anger bulge up inside of me, "if it's your house then where the hell were you for six and a half years!?"

My mother gasps and says, "Rania! Do not talk to your father like that, we did not raise you to be have like a wild anima--"

I cut her off as the tears fall down my face, "you didn't raise me though! That's the thing mother. Laith raised me and Laith took care of me, you two were never there and you know it!"

My father comes closer to me and points a finger in my face, his eyes have gone from the tired to angry but I'm sure mine are angrier.

He spits out horrid words and before I can rage out on him Laith steps in and pushes me back into Maaz. He rubs my shoulders as angry tears rush down my face.

Laith is whispering harshly to my father and as he finishes my father looks over his shoulder and at Maaz. He looks back at Laith and yells, "you can not get her married without our consent!"

"Well too bad, she already is married!" Laith bursts out and Maaz lets me go and over to him to try and calm him down.

"Asalamalaikum, my name is Maaz," he says gently holding his hand out to my father. He ignores the hand and scowls at Maaz, "I remember you, the little kid that was always sneaking around and getting in trouble you made us late for a meeting once!" He grumbles out but Maaz doesn't seem fazed, instead he smiles wider and says, "that's in the past though right, I've changed."

"Rania, what the hell are you doing!?" My mother says rushing up to me and taking me by the shoulders, I push her hands off and glare at her sharply. "Right now? Well right now I think I'm gonna with my husband to our apartment and make you a grandmother!"

My mother and father gasp as Maaz and the very humorous group of guests laugh really loud. Maaz's grandma wobbles over to my mom and grins with her no teeth mouth, "I'm a grandma! Once you become one I'll pull your teeth out just so you can have the traits yeah?"

I laugh and hug her to me as my mother and father stand there speechless. My father in-law comes up behind and laughs a throaty laugh while looking my father in the eyes, "Asalam Alaikum Mohammed, how have you been?" He says addressing my father.

My father looses his glare but keeps the solemn look on his face, "Walaikum Asalam Ahmed. Good, alhamdulillah. So Ahmed tell me is it true that your son just wed my daughter?" He says mostly growling the end part out.

Maaz's dad smiles and gives me a side hug, "yupp, I'm proud to call her my daughter in law. But please Rania, don't me a grandpa yet! I'm too young!"

Everyone laughs except my parents and as my father in law and my father have a heated discussion Maaz leans over and whispers in my ear, "let's get out of here sex freak." I blush but nod my head.

We call Laith over and he gives us a hug before ushering us out the door, the yells of our parents, his sisters who are yelling "PEACE LOVE AND MANIA BABIES!" And his grandma who is singing are zoned out as I sit inside Maaz's car.

"Did I tell you how gorgeous you look in that dress?" Maaz says with a wink as we pull out of the driveway and down the road.

I laugh and say, "yes, yes you did."

"But I think it would look more gorgeous on the floor," he says smirking at me, I blush and slap his shoulder, "oh hush you turd."

We make it to the apartment in no time and if I'm already in love with the view around it how could I not be with how it looks from the inside. Maaz parks the car and before I can get out, he runs over, jumping over the hood of the car like he's done this a bunch of times, and opens the door, "M'Lady." He says with a wink and I roll my eyes with a smile as I grab his extended hand.

He intertwines our fingers and leads us in. As we wait for the elevator I lean over and whisper to Maaz, "if there's nobody in the elevator I'm gonna snog you." I have no clue where this confidence came from but when he blushes as I say this it gives more and I wink at him like he does to me sometimes.

"Aye aye aye Rainy, can't wait eh?" He says pulling me close to him, the elevator dings open and I move myself away from him. To my dismal there is a mom and her child inside the elevator. As we get in Maaz whispers, "too bad, now you'll have to wait just a bit longer."

I elbow him in the stomach and blush in embarrassment, I shouldn't have said that.

The mom and the child walk off the elevator and when the doors close again Maaz turns to me with a smirk. He pushes me up against the cold metal of the elevator and says, "go on, don't run back on your words."

I place my hands around his neck and whisper, "but we're here and there is a big 'ol man staring so let's get a move on ya?"

He hastily lets go, smiles at the man and then pulls me out of the elevator, "woah woah woah what's the rush?" I say as he drags me down the carpeted hallway. "You smell like roses and I can't take it." Is his only reply.

After dragging me some more we finally stop at a door with a brass handle, "you bought the penthouse?" I say smiling as I look around and notice that there isn't any other doors around.

"Yupp, now where's that damn key." He says feeling all of his pant pockets. I notice it dangling from the inside of his suit pocket and smirk to myself.

I push him up against the door and he gulps as he says, "at least let me find the key first," he breathes out heavily and I ignore him, I begin to lightly kiss the sides of his neck and he  breathes out, "Rania.."

I smile to myself and reach inside his jacket running my hand up his chest slowly. I grab the keys from his pocket and peck a spot on his jawline one more time before dangling them in front of him.

He seems in haze but then snaps out of it as he sees me dangling the keys in front of his face, he smiles and says, "you couldn't just tell me?" I shrug and bite my lip cheekily smiling. He breathes in a sharp breath and slowly pulls my lip out while saying, "don't do that," with a husky tone.

I wait patiently as he opens the door, I follow him in and as he locks the door behind us, I look around smiling. Since it's the penthouse it's at the top of the building, everything looks new and polished with ceramic tiles and gorgeous tones of grey, white and black.

It's not too small, yet not too big either, Maaz wraps his arms around me from the back and says, "do you like it?"

I nod happily and turn in his arms so I'm facing him, "give me a tour."

"Okay," he says with a smirk, "let's starts off with the bedroom."

I squeal as he picks me up over his shoulder and runs into a room.
