Shin

Even though that I was a veteran Cardfighter, I still think about the events I've had when I was a high schooler.

It still makes me wonder if things would've been different if Rive , Mark and I can still be Team Nippon and also that one of my closest friends , Tatsuya Tachibana.

It has been ten years since the accident and Mikuru was able to forgive me and let Chrono play Vanguard to his heart's content . 

As I was doing inventory,  Chrono was helping out a customer with his deck. "Well, I suggest to place a card that is good for defense. " 

"Thanks, Chrono! " The boy said, as he pats on his head to find his friends. I thought, "Wonder what happened to Tatsuya?"

As to my big surprise, there he was. He approaches Chrono as he was looking directly at him. 

He spoke , "It's been a long time coming, hasn't, Chrono?"

Chrono asks, "I'm sorry, do I know you?"

Tatsuya said, "The last time we saw one other was back you were still a child, I doubt you remember me." 

I approach to them as I said, "Been a while, Tatsuya." 

"Shin." He said. 

Min

I decided to tell Aichi that I regain Kourin's memories. When I told Yugi about it, he was stunned. "How could you not tell Aichi about it? Keeping a major secret like that isn't your style." 

"Well, Aichi kinda not tell us about The Seed. So, I consider it as a payback for him . So, how about we meet at Card Capital? I'm also interested of battling Chrono today, if he's not busy with his work with Shin." 

As we walked into the shop, we saw that Shin was looking at someone. 

Yugi asks, "Who is he?"

I replied, "No idea." 

Shin puts his hand to his glasses, "It's really been ten years since we last saw each other. What you brings you here after all this time, Tatsuya?" 

He replied, "I want to apologize to you, Shin and to you, Chrono. I shouldn't make you suffer like that . I was really stupid and overbearing. I was so desperate to get my parents back." 

"Well, at least that you are not going to summon a unit again like you did ten years ago with Ryuzu Myoujin." 

Chrono was silent for a moment then gasp with surprise, "Wait, you don't mean the same Ryuzu that was reborn into a toddler , isn't?"

"The same one. Tatsyua was my pupil , just like you had with Kamui. In some way , I was his Vanguard." Shin explains of who he was. 

"He also happens to be the one who helped of summoning your avatar, Chrono Jet . Don't you remember?"

He took out his deck. "This deck ... it really changed me. I never gotten into Vanguard if it wasn't put into my locker by Koji. And I also discovered my passion , no, my life is to play Vanguard, and get involved with helping in Gears' Crisis, and Stride Gate, I was able to reconnect with Dran. 

I want to see him again, but it would take a while for me to reentry to Planet Cray." 

Tatsuya was silent as I cough, "Hey! Chrono , how about we have a Cardfight?  I played with Taiyo and he helped me with tweaking my deck. It's a thing that we know a player is through Vanguard, am I right?"

"Yeah, and I wanted to see Min in action." A voice said, which led me to see Aichi and the others when I expected to.

"Aichi! Um, hi. " I stammered. Taiyo said, "So, a friend of Shin's huh? I will card fight you right now." 

We looked at the young teen with shock. "WHAT?!?"

Taiyo runs towards the table as Yugi said, "He's completely nuts. " 

I chuckled, "I guess that can't be helped. Chrono? Let's go!" 

We all said in unison, "Stand up, Vanguard!" 

Tayio

I figure that Tatsuya was still uncertain at seeing Shin again, and I know the feeling. I have still has a long way to go from Team Striders . 

I wouldn't be the same person I am now, thanks to Chrono and the others. They helped me with how much Vanguard means to me, and the friends I have found in the process. 

As the damage was three to two, I was gripping on the bar of how powerful his clan was. 

"Incredible! It's amazing of how much effort you place in your clan. " I said to him. 

Tatsuya said, rubbing , "Uh, thanks? But why challenge me? " 

"Because ... I was just like you . I lost my way when I was on Team Demise. I thought that weakness is a crime . That having it is something to be not proud of. 

But then... everything changed when Team Try3 showed up and Chrono helped me through of how it is part of who I was meant to be." 

I picked up a card then smiled at it. "I guess that I'm grateful for everything had happen to me. Liberating the Generation Zone!" 

Chrono and Min were stunned at my attempt as Chrono said, "A Generation Stride, wow. Tatsuya is in trouble now. " 

"What's a Generation Stride?" Yugi asks. 

"Yeah, what is it?"

"Well you have to pay the cost of three cards who has the equal number as a Grade 3. That will have an alternative timeline of what happens next. " Chrono explains in pride as Min said, "You seem confident that Tayio can win with this. " 

Chrono said, "Well, I have seen Tayio card fight bunch of times. He's strong Cardfighter , just like I am, and some way, he's like a little brother to me." 

Min

I never been so amazed of how close Chrono, Shin, and Aichi were as to being connected through Vanguard. 

I saw Kourin coming into view as I pulled Aichi towards me. "Whoa, Min. What's the rush? Is this really import-" 

But his sentence was cut off by the sight of his former friend. 

"K-Kourin?" 

She smiles so formly as to that seeing Aichi again was something she wanted since Legion Mate. 

"Hi.. Aichi. Long time ." She said. 

Aichi steps forward a bit then without hesitant, he rushed toward her and I step backward to give them personal space. 

I was happy for them to be finally reunited with everything that happened , like it never happened. 

As they finally let go of the hug , Kourin said, "You really have grown up , Aichi Sendou. " 

Aichi rubbed his head, "Think so? But wait a sec! How you able to remember me? I thought that once Min defeated me back at the Moon Palace, you wouldn't remember your old self. " 

Yugi concur, "Yeah, I was with Aichi and his sister to teach them Duel Monsters. I was planning to teach you both , but you weren't around. " 

I bowed , "Sorry! I should've told you guys what I was up to. Well, to be honest, I led Kourin here to Card Capital , and we ended up in a Cardfight and it triggered her memories , all of her memories . " 

The boys were stunned of the revelation and Kourin said, "Also , Min already filled me in about the whole incident with Domino City . Hard to believe a Unit appeared and almost hurt you, Yugi. 

I'm just relieved that Min saved you with Blaster Girl in that stadium. Although, it sounds a lot like you would do, Aichi. " 

"Hey!" He said, pouting as we laughed.
