I was currently running in what mr. Vergil told me is called a desert running away from something that was shaking the ground as if there was something underneath

We had just recently entered the desert as we have been walking for days on end to the point I lost track of time and space while walking with him in total silence as he stopped any attempt I had at starting a conversation with an 'ok' which I hated and then he ran off in a flash which I couldn't keep up with

And now I was trying to go in the same direction as he did trying to catch up to him

But I was running for my life at the same time with the shaking sand behind me

I started to run faster and faster until i started losing it and it finally disappeared!!

I stopped

"Woohoo!!take that whatever was in there!!"I shouted happily

When all of a sudden a spot in front of me exploded with sand as out of it came a giant worm which didn't look a tad bit as cute as the tiny ones in my planet

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"I shouted as the giant worm dived right at me and swallowed me

Oh man!it stinks in here!and so sticky and slippery!!

It didn't take long before it threw me out of its mouth again as I was thrown in what I felt to be a wall

"Ouch that hurts!"I winced as I looked around

I was in what looked like a large enclosed corridor except it wasn't made out of smooth stones but more so naturally shaped and it was really big,maybe the quarter of my world

It was also quite humid inside with droplets of water being heard as there were also puddles on the groun
I kept on walking around trying to find out and maybe find my way back to mr vergil

He's probably looking for me as of now

Meanwhile:

Vergil was watching from afar what was happening as he had already reached the green and grassy soil where the trees could grow again

"This is not my problem"he said as he sat down

Back to Y/n:

I was calmly walking around trying to find any path that might take me up as I figured there must be a way up

As I was wondering around I then heard a loud roar as everything around started to rumble

"Oh no it's coming!!"I shouted as I ran to the side and hid as much as I could and held on to the ground since I could feel myself slip a little because of the shaking as it then passed right by me as I barely avoided it as it crawled away roaring

I sighed in relief

'I Managed to escape'i thought as all of a sudden I felt the ground beneath me give out and I started to fall down

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"I shouted as I was falling down a deep hole as I saw something getting closer and closer below me as it looked like a rock,I was about to hit while i braced myself for impact

And I smashed right besides it and missed it entirely as I landed right besides it

I layed their for a couple of seconds as the entire front of my body was hurting me and I slowly detached myself from the ground as the fall buried me a little in it

I looked around the room trying to make sense of what this place is

I was standing in what looked like a structure of some sort like four staircases which lead up to the same spot

I then looked at the stone in front of me as I saw a sword being etched in the stone,it looked so big that it was the same height as me

The sword was held by a particular someone,as they had no flesh or skin and were just a sitting skeleton holding the sword as it donned weird clothes holding it with their two hands while their head was

"Uuuh,hello?"I lightly tapped them in the head when they suddenly fell down and their skeleton broke apart

I jumped and yelped at the same time because of this

I then looked at the sword,being a small child I wanted to grab it

I look at the skeleton

"You don't mind if I take this do you?"I asked it as I was met with silence

"Alright!thank you!!"I thanked it as I then started to pull the sword out of the stone until it was all out and I then realized that it was heavy and I fell down while holding it

"Well that wasn't so bad"

After getting up I looked at the sword,it looked really fancy but it was also super heavy as I tried to lift it up and point it up but I could only do it for one second

I then looked for a way out to see a tunnel

"Welp,away I go!"I said as I began to drag the sword along with me

As I was making my way up there I heard someone shout

"WAIT YOU!STOP RIGHT THERE!!"

I thought it was the skeleton as I turned around and saw it didn't move an inch

"I'm here!!"

Wait there's no way

I looked at the sword to see that the voice came from it

"I'm here!"

"WAIT YOU'RE A TALKING SWORD?!is that a thing that can happen?"I shouted as I let go of it

It then stood up on its tip

"How were you able to pull me out of the stone?I cursed it so that only a member of my bloodline can pick it up"said the sword

"I don't really know I just saw you and thought I'd need something to defend myself"i said to the sword

"This doesn't make sense!you shouldn't be able to pull me out especially considering the fact I can't sense my blood in you"he said

"So should I just put you back?"I asked the sword

"No I have already been awakened and I am not ready to live an eternity of boredom stuck in a pedestal

I will allow you to wield me for now even if this might be too much for you to wield for the moment,we will fix that later

For now let us get out of this place"he said

"Okay then"i said kind of relieved since I won't have to lift it up because of how heavy it is

"But before we go,go grab that gauntlet from the armored skeleton's right hand"said the sword as I did what it instructed me to do and walked over to the skeleton to indeed find a glove which matched the design of the so called armor which I took from it as bones fell from it

I then put it in my hand as it started shrinking until it fit my hand and its design changed too

"Good,let us go now"said the sword as it started hopping on the ground

"Wait you haven't told me your name!"I said

It turned to me

"I expected you not to know me seeing how I heed from another dimension

Call me excalibur,promised sword of victory and the holy sword that purges all evil"

Really sorry everyone for not uploading yesterday as I was really busy with irl stuff but hopefully this won't happen again

Also I will probably update my other story "the kindest tyrant for a new year's special"
