One of the coolest and most visited places in the country is Odakamandalam or Ooty.Located on the top of the peak,Ooty is surrounded by the tall eucalyptus and pine trees.Though the journey to the top is pricky but it's beauty worth it.It's one of the best places for a vacation or celebration.

A huge mansion situated between the green plains of Ooty was decorated beautifully.The fresh tulips and orchids around gives a refreshing odor,the lights are dancing with colors,cars are going in and out,people are busy with wedding preparations. Amidst the wedding world around them,in the middle of the mansion,two people are in their own world.Its a girl in a pink lehenga and a boy in pink kurtha speaking rather fighting forgetting themselves and even the people around seemed to forget them.Their pitch rising with each word........

Girl: It's Paris!

Boy: No Switzerland!

Girl: Paris

Boy:Switzerland!

Girl: I said Paris!

Boy: I said Switzerland!

Girl: It's my choice it will be Paris!

Boy: Who said it's your choice? It's mine.....it will be Switzerland!

Annoyed because of the argument the girl shouts,

Girl(shouts): Karan!

Boy(shouts): Preetha!

The boy and girl are karan and preetha.After calling their names,they see each other or glare each other,

Preetha(coolly): OK no fighting.......yeh meri di ki shaadi hein so uski honeymoon destination choose karne ka pura hak hein mujhe.

Karan: Oh hello.....thumhari logic mereliye bhi apply hotha hein.yeh mera bhai ki shaadi hein so mujhe bhi hak hotha hein.

Preetha: Thumhari bhai mera jiju hein so mein hi choose karungi!

Karan: aur thumhari behen meri babhi so mein hi choose karunga!

Preetha: lekin meri di meri baath hi maanegi wo Paris hi jaayegi.

Karan: achaa mera bhai bhi mere hi baath maanega wo Switzerland hi jaayega!

Annoyed she comes up with an idea,

Preetha: Achaaa.......chalo thum thumhara bhai ko Switzerland bhejo aur mein apni di ko Paris bhejthi hu.

Karan: yeh idea acha hein!

Thinking that they won the argument in their own ways they feel happy when they hear a voice, actually a yell,

Voice: What?

They both look at him who is looking at both of them wierdly,

Voice: Are you guys mad?

They both frown,

Karan(pointing her): Mein nai Roshan bhai yeh mad hein.......she is madder than mad.

Preetha(pointing him): And you are maddest than mad!

The person is Roshan,karan's brother whose wedding is going to happen.

Rohan(loudly): Ok stop both of you!

They see each other and don't speak a word,

Rohan: You both are mad!

He stands between them while they both face each other,

Rohan: Arey kaun pati patni apni honeymoon pe different places jaatha hein........ha?

Preetha: lekin jiju yeh meri baath nai maan raha hein..... Meine Paris boli lekin yeh Switzerland bol raha hein.Arey Paris is called city of love.koi honeymoon couple wahi jaatha hein!

Karan(retorts): Switzerland is also famous for romance.Ok?

Rohan: Oh shut up ........mera aur Priya ki honeymoon ke baare mein aap log kyun lad rahe ho? And for your information meine already book kiya tha so please stop your idiotic fight and do some worthy work.

Priya is preetha's sister whose marriage is happening with Karan's brother Roshan.

They widen their eyes and realize that their fighting went futile.They became sad when suddenly karan rewinds what his brother said,he smirks and places his hand on his shoulder,

Karan: waise bhai aap tho bahot romantic nikla........shaadi bhi nai huyi lekin aap honeymoon ka tayariyan bhi kar di.haa?

He winks at him,preetha laughs,

Rohan: ofcourse karna hi tha warna aap dono ham dono ko alag alag honeymoon pe bhejoge!

He smacks karan's and preetha's head,

Karan(rubbing his head): Not fair bhai aap dono keliye ham dono lad rahe the ........aap hame hi maar rahe ho?

Rohon: aap dono ko ladne keliye kuch chahiye bhi nai hein bhai aap bas ladthe ho ladthe ho aur ladthe ho!

He concludes while preetha glares karan,

Preetha: Dekha bajarbattu kya bol kar raha hein jiju sab thumhari wajah se.........thum mujhse ladthe hein kyun?

Karan narrows his eyes and stands in front of her again,

Karan(mimicks): thum mujhse ladthe hein kyun?Dekho kaun puch rahi hein......thum mujhe ladthe hein kyun?

Preetha(irritated): Aghhh ab bhi lad raha hein ........thumse baath karna hi bekaar hein.

Karan: aur mein......

Interrupting him,

Preetha(angrily): Bye!

Preetha goes away without listening him and he was shocked,

Karan(murmurs to himself): chali gayi mera baath sunne se pehle........

He gets angry and steps in her direction while Rohan stops him holding his hand,

Roshan: karan......wait wo chali gayi na thum kyun jaa rahe ho uske peeche?

Karan: Nai bhai wo mere bye bolne se pehle hi chali gayi matlab meri baath kaata......I mean the karan Luthra ka baath kaata.I won't leave her.(without listening Roshan he darts to her calling her name) Preetha.....preetha.....

Roshan: Yeh dono mujhe samaj hi nai aatha...........jab dekho ladthe rehthe hein.Uffff!

Sighing,he goes to his room for some relaxation as his mind got tired seeing two wierdo's.

AT NIGHT

Preetha is in her room on the bed talking with her friend with a scared face,

Preetha: What are you saying diya?

Diya: Yes preetha........day after tomorrow is our placement day.You have to be here.

Preetha: But I took leave for 1 week for my sister's marriage.I checked the schedule there were no interview sessions scheduled.What happened suddenly?

Diya: I don't know yaar........ placement head suddenly notified us 2 days back and since you were busy I couldn't contact you.

Preetha: Shit.......how can I attend? Day after tomorrow is my sister's Sangeeth and how can I prepare for the interview in such a short time?

Diya: Sorry Preetha I tried to contact you but....

She didn't complete and pretha understood her as its not her fault,

Preetha(softly): That's ok and thanks for the info.I will speak to dad.

Diya: Don't worry.Start preparing now you will crack it.Ok........bye!

Preetha: I hope......bye.Good night!

She puts off the phone with a sad and disappointed face.

Preetha(to herself): I have to speak to di.

She goes to her room but finds her nowhere so asks servants who says that her sister is in lawn.Walking towards the lawn,she sees that only few workers are present doing the last works.All most all the decoration work was completed and the mansion is shining at night too which meant they did a good job and also meant that the marriage is very soon.She reaches the lawn in her thoughts to find her chatting with Luthra brothers.

Shaking her head for her luck,she goes and sits beside her.Priya sees her and notices her gloominess.

Priya: Kya hua aise kyun muh banaya?

Karan: Babhi wo normal bhi rehthi na uski muh aise hi hothi hein bandar jaisi

Preetha(angry): mein bandar nai thum pagal ho.........(to her sister)di usse kaho ki chali jaye yaha se!

Karan(frowns): mein kyun jaau? Thum jao.......mein pehle aaya tha yaha!

Preetha(huffing): Di.......

Karan: kya di? Mujhse baath karo......babhi ko kyun pareshaan kar rahe ho?

Preetha is about to say something,

Priya: Preetha stop!

Preetha stops and glares at him while he pokes his tongue,

Preetha: zyada jubaan math dikhao jubaan kaat dungi!

Karan(glaring): uska pehle mein thumhari haath na kaata tho mera naam bhi karan Luthra nai!

Preetha(retorts): mere haath kaatogi? uska pehle mein thumhara yeh sar kaatlungi(karan widen his eyes).......saari ladayi iss sar ki wajah se hi hein.Idiot!

Karan(shouts): What? Thumne mujhe idiot bola?

Preetha(coolly): Nai thumhara sar ko bola!

Karan(gritting teeth): lekin sar tho mera hi heina?

Roshan and priya together shout at them not able to listen their silly banter.

Roshan: Karan ek aur shabd bolana mein thumhe maarungaa!

Priya: exactly preetha you too!

They both see their siblings and then see each other and calm down.Priya and Roshan see them once for making sure and takes a deep breath.

Priya: Ab bathao thumhara mood itna kharab kyun hein?

Karan: Mood tho uski hamesha aise hi rehthi hein...... irritating!

Preetha sees him angrily while Roshan smacks on his shoulder,

Roshan: chup!(to preetha) Preetha thum bathao

Preetha: mera placement interview hein do din baad.

Priya(shocked): what?

Roshan: Do din baad tho sangeeth heina?

Preetha nods sadly.

Roshan: ab kya karogi thum?

Preetha: mujhe nai pata jiju........mein dad ko nai bol saktha aapko pata heina dad mujhe permit nai karega kisi aur ke company mein work karne keliye.upar se aapki shaadi........i dont know what to do.

Roshan and priya look at her,

Roshan(softly): thum bahot mehnat karliya na Sangeeth keliye?

She lowers her head.

Priya( side hugging her): Written test ke baad Interview keliye bhi bahot excited thi thum!

Preetha keeps silent.Karan is silent listening the total discussion.He sees priya and roshan who are also silent and preetha who is looking at ground,

Karan(to preetha): ab aise jameen dekhne se kuch nai hogaaa........I have an idea!

She lifts her head to see him,

Rohan: kya?

Karan: When is your interview?

Preetha: Day after tomorrow Morning 11

Karan: Good.......ek kaam karo.thum parso subah chali jao, interview attend karo aur shaam tak aa jao waise bhi Sangeeth shaam heina? So you won't miss anything!

They look at eachother and him.

Preetha(smiling): I knew it thumhari idea aise hi hogi

Karan smiles,

Karan: Kaise?

Preetha: Thumhari tarah bekar jaisi!

He is angry,

Karan: Isme bekar kya hein ha?

Preetha: aur nai tho kya.......thum aisi keh rahe ho jaise ham paas mein hein.We are in Ooty karan aur Interview mumbai mein hein.How is it even possible?

Karan laughs,

Karan: You proved that you are brainless(preetha narrows her eyes)........you know something called flights.People use them for fast transportation.You can have a morning flight day after tomorrow and come back by evening one.Simple.

Hmm.....that's correct,

Preetha: But ham bahot door mein hein mein interview time se pehle kaise pahuchungi and important dad ko kya bolungi? Wo mujhe permit nai karega akele jaane ko!

Rohan: She is right......uncle nai maanega.And also how can we send her alone because all our jets are busy in getting relatives here.

They all nod as it's right.All the three look at karan for another idea but he sees them frowning,

Karan: kya? Meine already idea diya hein baaki risks thumhe hi uthana hoga!

Preetha's face falls again.This time Priya's face lighten up and holds her with a smile,

Priya: Don't worry preetha you will definitely attend the interview and my Sangeeth also.

Karan(excited): That's my babhi.......I know you will give some idea.Ab bathao uncle ko kaise manaogi?

Priya: ab meri shaadi mein dad preetha ko nai jaane dega so dad ko mein yeh bolungi ki mujhe urgently kuch chahiye hamare ghar se aur wo cheez preetha layegi mujhe.

Rohan(thinking): Ok...... but what about her safety? Wo subah subah jaana hein aur pata nai kab aayegi ham driver ke saath nai bhej sakthe heina? Aur baaki log full preperations mein lage hue hein?

Karan: Exactly iss bandar ko kaun jhelega pura din use maarne bina?

Preetha narrows her eyes at him,

Priya: Thum!

Karan: Ok

Then he realizes what she said and what he said.He widens his eyes and snaps his head at her and the other two who are as shocked as him.

Karan: What?

Priya: Yeah........preetha ko parso kal thum leke jaaogi,interview attend karwaogi uske baad yaha le aaoge!

Karan is shocked and he starts speaking in high pitch,

Karan: No way........mein iske saath ek minute bhi nai reh saktha aap pura din batha rahe ho.I can't.

Priya(pleading): Karan apni bhabhi keliye.......mere liye nai karoge?

Unable to see her,Karan sees Rohan pleading,

Rohan(shrugging): ab home minister decision liya tho ham kya karsakthe hein bhai........go for it!

Karan narrows his eyes badly,

Karan: Shaadi bhi nai huyi apni biwi ki baath maanne lage ho.

Rohan: apni hi biwi ki baath maan raha hu naa kisi aur ki biwi ki nai!

Karan shakes his head as its waste to argue with him and looks at Priya who have soft eyes,he closes his eyes once and opens them helplessly,

Karan: Why me babhi?

Priya: Because you are correct for her.

Karan and preetha look at each other shocked,

Preetha: what?

Rohan: What she meant is you are correct for this job.Dekho karan uncle won't send preetha until he is sure of her safety and if we say him you are going to accompany her there would be no chance that he says no as he thinks of you as a very good boy.

Karan understands his words and pities himself.

Karan(sighing): If it would be like this I would have created a bad boy image.Poor me!

Preetha: You don't need to create karan you were and are a bad boy!

Karan glares at her who is so cool about everything,

Karan: Dekha babhi kaise baath kar rahi hein mujhse.You want me to handle her for one day........ Impossible!

Preetha: Yes di he can't handle me.......... because he fears me.

Karan(yells): what? I don't fear you!

Preetha: yes you are!

Karan: no I ain't!

Preetha: yes you are

Karan: no I ain't!

Preetha: Then come with me and prove me!

He stands up adjusting his jacket,

Karan(angrily): Ofcourse I will come and prove that you are mental and need to be admitted in asylum as soon as possible!

He goes away huffing while the other three see each other faces and burst into laughter.

Roshan: Atlast he accepted!

Preetha: he had to!

Priya: ab theek hona thum?

Before preetha speaks,

Roshan: Ofcourse priya dekho uski chehra (they both look at her) bulb ki tarah jala rahi hein........waise yeh excitement ki reason kya hein?

Preetha: Jiju usse irritate karne ka ek pura din hein mere paas wo bhi akele. mein itna pareshaan karungi ki wo New York bhaag jaayega thumhare shaadi ke pehle hi.

They both see her in amusement,

Priya: thum isiliye kuch nai boli thi jab mein karan ko request kar rahi thi.mujhe laga karan ke saath saath thumhe bhi manana hein.

Preetha smiles silly getting a pat from Priya.

Priya: So as your problem is solved go to bed , prepare well tomorrow and crack the interview and break the dance floor too ok.

Preetha smiles widely hugging her,

Preetha: Thank you di!

She rubs her back,

Priya:I will talk with dad tomorrow morning.

They come out of hug,

Preetha: You are best di!

Roshan comes to Priyas side,

Rohan: I know right that's why I chose her.

She smiles and hugs him too.

Rohan: waise thoda kam irritate karo mere bhai ko.agar wo sach mein new york bhaag jaayega na mujhe acha nai lagega!

She laughs,

Preetha: I will try!

She winks and runs from there leaving them with a good smile.

Priya: She is crazy!

Rohan: No,They are crazy!

And the journey begins.......
