Out, at the edge of land
Wind roars in my ears
Hair moves with the wind
I close my eyes
Blown away, are my worries
Blown away, is the pain
All that remains
Are the happy memories

As the sun sets, we gather around the campfire
Telling stories of times gone
Whispers in my mind go away
Time to enjoy this happy day

I fall asleep to the sound of the waves
And the birds and insects
A Coastal Lullaby

I wake up and stretch
As the sun begins to rise
It's golden rays caress my face

I tell my family goodbye
But I stay
And listen
to the Coastal Lullaby
One last time
