Warning and apology in advance: This chappy might be a bit boring, but maybe not.
If it is, I'm sorry.

~/After the end of the school year\~
{Jeremy's POV}
I was sitting on my bed, staring at the wall across the room. There was a large cardboard box on the floor in front of me that said "Jeremy's Clothes" on the side, and another next to it that just said "Jeremy". I was supposed to be packing, but I didn't feel motivated in the least, so I was just stalling. I had already seen the house we were moving to; it was smaller than the one we had now, with two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a small kitchen connected to a living room. It wasn't a bad home, but it certainly wasn't what I was used to. I didn't deal with change well. This was why I still had yet to begin packing. I plugged my ipod into a speaker and played a random song. I sighed and leaned back, coming to rest with my back on my bed and my legs hanging off the edge. I laid there and listened to the song that was playing and stared at the ceiling. After about ten minutes of listening to whatever songs played, I sighed and sat up. "I might as well pack..." I spoke to myself. "Even if I don't, we're still going to move." I stood up from my bed and walked over to my closet and began pulling clothes off of the hangers and putting them in the box. After my closet was empty and I had tossed all of the empty hangers in the second box, I opened the top drawer of my dresser and emptied it into the clothes box. I then did the same with the other two. After all of my clothes had been packed, I began to clear off the tops of things. I took everything off of the top of my dresser, and then pulled everything that wasn't a book off of my bookshelves, occasionally putting bubble wrap over an item before it went into the box with everything else. Even though there were still lots of books on the shelves, my room now seemed... empty. I stood in the middle of my room, staring at the empty shelves, drawers, and closet for a few minutes, and then walked downstairs to get another box from my mom.

Both the packing of the rest of the house and the move itself went smoothly. The new house was narrower than our old one, with only a bedroom and a bathroom (which were mine) upstairs. We had just finished bringing all of the furniture, so my room had my bed, dresser, and bookshelves, but they were still bare. The boxes full of my things were in the middle of my room, still full and unopened. Before I unpacked, I decided, I needed to get sheets and a blanket for my bed. I walked downstairs and saw my father unpacking a box that was sitting on the kitchen table.
He saw me coming down the stairs and smiled, setting down a pot that he had had in his hands. "Hey, bud! What's up?"
I smiled back. "I was wanting to get some sheets and my blanket for my bed."
Ah, okay. You'll probably want to get those from your mother." He pointed his thumb towards the only bedroom that was on the ground floor.
"Alright. Thanks, Dad." I started to head that direction.
"No, problem, bud."
I opened the door to the bedroom and saw my mother placing folded clothes in my parents' dresser. "Hey, mom?"
She stood up straight. "Yeah, hon? What is it?"
"Can I have some sheets and my blanket?"
"Oh yeah, sure! Here, let me grab them." She reached into a box marked "Bedding" and pulled out a set of sheets for my bed, and set them on her bed, which was already made. She then pulled out a worn blue comforter. She picked up the sheets and set them on top of the blanket and handed the stack to me.
"Thanks, mom." I spoke, my voice slightly muffled from the bedding.
"You're welcome. Also, make sure you come back later and get your pillows too, okay?"
"Okay." With that, I left the room and made my way back upstairs, nearly tripping over my feet at one point because I couldn't see my feet. After I made it to my room, I set everything on the floor and began pulling the sheet over my mattress. After the sheets were on, I threw the blanket over them and went back downstairs to go get my pillows like my mom had told me to.
{Mike's POV}
I looked out of the window again. The moving truck was still in the driveway of a house a little way down the street. I wondered who was moving in, and then figured that they probably didn't have any kids. This was mostly an old folks' neighborhood, after all. I sat back down on my bed and picked up my phone and texted Fritz. 'Hey'. Nothing too complicated, but a good way to find out if someone was available to talk. Or, you know, the normal teenage text greeting.
He messaged back a few minutes later. 'Hey, what's up?'
'nm,' I sent back. 'Someone's moving in down the street. Wut u doin?'
'nm. Do u know whos movin in?'
'No,' I sent, and pulled my laptop onto my lap. 'probly some old couple. U know my neighborhood'
'Yah' He replied. I could almost hear him snicker as he sent next, 'Royal got stuck in the toilet again'
I laughed, and sent, 'lol XD'
He was quick to reply. 'My parents have been trying to get him out for the past hour' and in a second text, 'I heard them say they might have to call the fire department'
I laughed harder, 'oh my god XD'
He didn't reply for a few minutes, so I began to surf the web until he did. 'yeah, my family's weird'
'sure are'
'can I come over?'
'Sure'
'k i'll be there in a few'
'k see u then' I sent the last text and then set my phone down and began to wait for Fritz to arrive, still wondering who was moving in down the street.
