Alice and Aro stood hand in hand for a moment or two before the former ripped her hand out of his.

"It doesn't matter what I show you. Even when you see. You still won't change your mind." Alice spoke.

The girl who I thought of as my sister slowly turned towards my sister. "Now." She whispered.

Bella looked up at Ness who was perched on Jake's back. "Take care of my daughter."

Jake then looked over to me. "I'll meet you both there."

And with that, Jacob turned and started running. But Caius had seen them take off. "Get them!" He demanded to two of his guards.

Suddenly, Alice turned around and kicked Aro under his chin, sending the centuries old Cold One flying several feet through the air.

Aro landed in a crouched position with a furious look on his face. "Take her away." He seethed.

Alice thrashed in the arms of the guard, sending our side in a fit of rage.

Carlisle looked especially angry. Although Rosalie was the first daughter he "adopted" he loved Alice like she was his own.

"LET HER GO!" The Doctor shouted, running towards the Volturi, determined to get Alice back.

He flipped two guards off of him and kept running. My dead heart was going a mile a minute and I felt my blood run cold.

Just as Carlisle was close enough to Alice, he jumped in the air, Aro as well.

The Volturi Kings latched his hands on Carlisle as he let out a grunt and fell. Aro landed again in a crouched position, holding something in his hand and a victorious smirk on his face. His cloak was thrown away from his covered hand to reveal the detached head of one Doctor Carlisle Cullen.

My world seemed to stop. Esme let out a strangled cry, while the rest of our coven looked at Aro in anger and shock. He had killed their father. Carlisle Cullen was dead.

I felt the tears rush down my face as a torch was brought forth and set aflame to Carlisle's body.

That was the turning point. Everybody here who was witnessing for us was here because of Carlisle. We all started running, giving off various battle cries. I wasn't going to let the Volturi get away with this.

With a wave of Aro's hands, his guards and witnesses were sent to fight, the three Kings and the two wives left behind to witness.

Edward, Sam and Leah were the first to jump into action on our side. My sister and I not far behind them.

It was chaos all around me.

I was fighting off more than one Cold One, but I was winning. The Guard who wouldn't give up was quite handsome. "Give up sweetheart." He smirked.

"Yeah, I don't think so." I told him before I ripped off his head.

I smirked victoriously before I turned to look at my surroundings. Rose was fine, fighting off her own Vamps, as were Nik and Kol. But, it was Jasper that I was worried about.

The blonde, Jane, was focusing on my southern friend, trying to use her power on him. I looked over at Bella who was concentrating hard on Jasper, extending her shield towards him.

I lunged into action before Alec could. I went to help Jasper, and immediately pulled the heads off of the two he was fighting.

Jasper sent me a grateful smile before we ran for the next two.

I knew Jasper would be fine own his own. My next mission was to eliminate Jane and Alec.

I ran past Emmett who was stomping the head off of a Guard and towards Alec who was fighting my sister, Emmett not far behind me.

Alec charged at Emmett who slammed the young boy to the ground, holding him down with his foot. I smirked up at the muscular man and tore off Alec's arms. He screamed in pain, but they were cut off as Emmett grabbed his shoulders and tossed him far across the field, landing right in front of Jane.

The blonde Witch looked at her twin's body in pain. I smirked and made a run towards her.

Bella was using her power to shield me, but I shook my head. She could get hurt if she continued to do that.

I watched my surroundings as I continued to run to Jane. Alice had broken free of the guards grips, tearing their arms off, Kate was electrocuting the heads off of Cold Ones, and Katherine was facing off with someone who she clearly didn't want to hurt.

I focused my sights back on Jane, knowing she wouldn't try and pull anymore stunts since Alec was dead.

I ran towards my brunette best friend. "What are you doing Katherine? Kill him!" I demanded, fighting off two more Volturi members.

The Bulgarian girl looked at me with sad eyes. "I can't Piper."

It was then I knew who she was sending a yearning look towards.

I listened to my friend try and reason with the man she was fighting.

"Don't do this. You don't have to die, fight for our side."

The Volturi member scoffed. "You don't think I want to run to you Katerina? I can't. I have to fight you." He told her, his voice cracking.

I finished off with the two, and went to help Katherine.

"Listen to me you bastard. You are trying to kill my family and my friends. I'm a fucking newby at this Vampire thing and I'm getting really tired of trying to protect those I love. I almost lost Jasper, and I will certainly not lose Katherine. You either fight for us, or I have to kill you."

Something flashed in the Guards red eyes, and he stopped fighting Katherine, but brought her into a kiss.

They were fine, the unknown guard had thrown off his Volturi crest and cloak and smirked at Katherine. "Let's kick some ass."

I smirked and started to run back to Jane, but I was caught off guard as I was suddenly pinned to the ground. I could feel my windpipe being crushed as he tried to take my head off. He didn't know I was a Traditional. I smirked, knowing that this gave me the upper hand.

I felt the veins under my eyes rush with blood and my canines extend. The Guard's eyes widened and I sunk my teeth into his arm, ripping out a chunk. He screamed in pain, his grip loosening. I smirked as I twisted his arm, jumped around and bit his head off.

I then began to run back to Jane, but froze as I saw what was happening.

Seth had managed to jump on a vampire and try to take him down, but his eyes were focused on Jane. He snarled, but suddenly stopped. My eyes widened in horror as Seth's wolf eyes widened in pain and he fell to the ground whimpering in pain.

I managed to get my legs moving, and ran as fast as I could to get to him. Seth was stumbling around, trying to get away from Jane.

I screamed as I lunged for the blonde, taking her focus off of my wolf friend.

Seth wobbled a bit before he got up, and nudged me to get off of the blonde. I sent him a questioning look, but then suddenly understood.

I looked at Jane, furious that I couldn't kill her. "If you try anything like that again, I don't care if Seth kills me. I will kill you slowly and painfully." I hissed.

Jane's eyes widened at my warning. She clearly didn't understand why I would spare her life.

Seth sent me a warning growl as I took my hands off of Jane's neck. I watched as the tan wolf slowly trotted over to the blonde to make sure she was okay, and a look flashed across Jane's face as she smelt Seth for the first time. I knew then that she was on our side.

I looked around me once more to find things worse than they were. Bella was trying to fight off two cold ones but wasn't winning,Edward was in a showdown with another guard, Garrett was getting smacked around repeatedly, three Cold Ones were attacking Paul, driving him to the ground, Rebekah was having trouble fighting one of the strongest Cold Ones, Finn was helping Kol to save Maggie, and Nik was pinned down, his hybrid teeth trying to bite at the arms that held his neck.

Before I could even think about moving, the ground underneath me started to rumble, and a crack appeared under my feet.

I let out a scream and held onto the ledge, trying to pull myself up. Volturi left and right were being thrown into the crack, falling into the lava below.

I screamed as a falling Volturi member latched himself onto me, digging his fingers into my skin, drawing blood.

There was no way I was going to get out of this alive, I thought. This is where I would meet my end.

My grip on the ledge started to slip, and I looked up at the sky with tears in my eyes. I struggled to climb back up, with the Cold One on my back. It was then, that I knew what to do. I let my grip go off the ledge and pushed off with my feet, slamming the Cold One into the other side. I felt his fingers leave my back as we started to fall.

"PIPER!" Three voices screamed. I looked up to see Nik, Katherine and Bella. I sent them a smile, letting them know that it was alright. Suddenly, I remembered what I had promised my sister and my niece. I was close enough to one part of the rock trench where I could get my feet onto and pushed myself towards the other side, going higher and higher with each jump.

I grabbed onto the ledge and flung myself towards Nik, the two of us landing in the snow.

"Never do that again." Nik whispered, tucking loose strands of my blonde ponytail behind my ear.

I didn't get to say anything, before I heard the snaral of a wolf and then the howl of another. I quickly rushed to the ledge to see what had happened and my tear filled eyes spilled over as I saw Leah falling down with other Volturi members. I looked over to see it was Esme she had saved.

I helped the woman back up, before going to fight some more.

I was starting to get tired, and I wanted to give up. But I pushed through it all. I needed to survive for Ness.

The next time that I surveyed my surrounding, the three Kings had gone into battle, tired of watching their guard die.

I watched as Caius darted off towards an unsuspecting Tanya, but Garrett had come to her rescue, punching the blonde king into the grasp of Kate, who had her power on full blast. Tanya and Kate both smirked as the former gripped Caius' hair and the bottom part of his jaw and pulled slowly, throwing the top part of his jaw across the field. The Denali sisters finally had justice for their fallen sister, and their mother.

Marcus was the next to go. Vladimir and Stefan charged at the man from both side, egar smirks on their faces. The oldest Volturi kings simply just held out his arms and muttered one word; "Finally" as he was twisted in half.

Aro was the last to go into battle. It was clear now that the Volturi was not going to win. We now had the upper hand, with most of his guard dead, and two of his most beloved guard now on our side.

He started walking slowly at first, breaking into run as he saw Edward going for him.

I watched as Bella was flug away from Aro, twisting in the air until she landed on top of Edward.

I was suddenly grabbed by my arms and held in place. I looked behind me to see one of the wives' guards. I thrashed and tried to get to my sister but he wouldn't let me go.

My sister and her husband interlocked their left hands and Bella was thrown at a charging Aro knocking his off balance. His head was snapped to the side, his body following. But he wasn't about to give up.

Bella was then thrown at the last remaining King and she kicked his chest, sending Aro backing into Edwards waiting arms. My brother-in-law tried to twist Aro's head off, but the older and stronger vampire wrapped his hands around Edwards arms and put both hands on his face, his neck slightly cracking.

Bella then jumped onto Aro's back, one foot on his shoulder, the other on his back. She had one hand on his chin, the other gripping his hair.

Edward recovered from the surprise attack and kicked Aro's leg, sending him on his knees. Edward then jumped on Aro's back, while Bella pulled on his neck.

Aro's head flew few feet away from his body, as my sister ran to grab the torch that had been used to burn Carlisle's body.

Everything happened in slow motion after that. The rest of the Volturi stopped fighting and made a beeline towards my sister and her husband. Edward was engulfed in a sea of black, as was Bella as she lowered the torch to Aro's head.

It was as if my world went silent. Our witnesses stopped what they were doing and froze in shock. I could hear limbs breaking. Suddenly a head was tossed out of one of the seas of black. Bronze hair and golden eyes, stared up at the world seeing nothing.

I felt a cry come in the back of my throat.

And then my world came crashing down. Another head was tossed out, long brown hair sprawled out on the snowy floor.

It was then I lost it. I lear out an ear splitting scream, all of the Vampires immediately clutching their ears.

Tears flooded down my face, as I stared at my sister's head.

My mouth was covered by a dainty hand and a soft but booming voice filled the air.

"ENOUGH!"

All of the Vampires turned to look at who spoke. I was released and I fell to my knees.

"That is enough fighting. Look at the damage we've caused." I looked up to see the brunette of the wives had spoken.

I was lifted off the ground and walked back over to the remaining Cullens and our witnesses. I looked up to see the sad face of Nik.

Once I was back and sat on the ground with several arms around me, the brunette wife spoke again.

"We've caused so much damage. Countless people were killed out of hate from my husband. I cannot reverse what has been done here today, but I can stop it from ever happening ever again."

Athenodora stepped up next to Sulpicia. "We tried to talk them out of this before we departed from Italy, but they would not listen. They were hungry for power and destruction. Carlisle's death was something Aro had planned even before we knew about the child." She spoke.

I felt more tears rush out of my eyes.

"From this day on, the Volturi guard shall be no more. Athena and I will rule in the way that our husband's couldn't. We will rule with open minds and compassion. There will be no more lives taken for a false accusation. The Cullens have done no wrong. From the evidence my husband would not except, the child is not a threat to us."

Sulpicia spoke with the voice of a true ruler. She stood tall with her shoulders back, and a crown of authority on her head.

"Esme, I am so sorry for the death of Carlisle. He was a good man that did not deserve to die in the way that he did. And I extend my apology to Kate and Tanya. My husband should not have killed your sister, and I know nothing I can ever say will make it any better."

Athenodora was more of the soft spoken Queen, showing more compassion than authority.

"And Piper, what has happened to your sister was done out of rage and loyalty to my husband. Nothing can ever be done to fix what has happened here today, but your heart will heal in time."

I looked up at the brunette queen with red, puffy eyes. I shook my head and cried into Nik's chest.

"I am so sorry for what has happened here today. There is nothing that I can say that will change the events of today. We will leave you to live the rest of your lives and grieve over those you have lost today."

And with those final words from Sulpicia, the two queens and the dismissed Volturi guard left the field.

I took my head off of Nik's chest and stood on wobbly legs to see who all we had lost today.

Maggie and Sobian stood clutching each other, dry sobbing at the loss of Liam.

Alistar was gone, as was Amun and Kebi.

Carlisle, Alistar, Amun, Kebi, Liam, Leah, Edward and Bella had all been lost today.

I felt the world start to spin and I collapsed onto the snowy ground, my world going black.
