"There's sweet music here that softer falls than petals from blown roses on the grass. Or night-dews on still waters between walls of shadowy granite in a gleaming pass. Music that brings sweet sleep down from blissful skies."

I watched from the other side of Ness as my sister read. The little angel was asleep, so she closed the book and turned off the light.

"Mom?"

My sister and I looked down at the little voice that had spoken.

"Hmm?"

"Did Aunt Alice and Uncle Jasper run away because we're going to die?"

I looked down at the girl with wide eyes.

"Who told you that, was it Kol?"

Ness giggled and shook her head. Bella sent me a warning look as she went to reassure her child.

"No. I think they left to keep us safer. That's what all these other people are here for, too. I'll never let anybody hurt you."

I stroked Ness' chocolate brown hair as she looked up at her mother.

I left the two for a moment and went into the little living room.

I watched the roaring fire, content in the peacefulness. Alice's note laid on the table, and I studied her handwriting carefully.

"It's strange. Physically, I feel like I could demolish a tank. Mentally, I just feel drained."

My sister voiced from the couch behind me. I knew how that felt. With all the stress the last few weeks, I was ready to sleep for five months.

"How about a bath?" Edward asked his wife.

I cringed as I heard the sound of lips smacking and buttons being undone.

"Could you not have sex everywhere with me in the room and your child in the next room?"

"Bella, I've had the habit of underestimating you. Every obstacle you've faced, I'd think you couldn't overcome it. And you just did. You're the reason they have something to fight for. My family."

I smiled softly to myself at Edwards little speech. He really would do anything for my sister.

I turned around to face my sister as Edward left the room.

I watched with curious eyes as she studied the note that Alice left us. She flipped it over, and then rushed over to her bookshelf.

She pulled out 'The Merchant of Venice' and opened to the first couple of pages, where she beckoned me over.

'J. Jenks, Seattle- destroy this'

I watched as my sister threw the book into the fire, and I left the little cottage, walking back to the Cullen house.

Alice had made sure that Bella and I would get the message. Because only our thoughts were safe from Aro, as Carlisle had told me that Traditionals were able to block Cold Ones gifts.

I sat in the back of Bella's car with Ness and Jake as we drove to dad's house.

"I'm surprised you took a break from Jedi training." Jake says, breaking the silence.

I giggle as Bella playfully glares at him.

"If I don't get Renesmee to my dad, he'll come to us. Not so great."

I shuddered at the thought of Dad being slaughtered by the Cold Ones. I knew that the Traditionals would leave him alone, but the others were unpredictable.

"Whatever, I'm just glad to get away from all those reeking bloodsuckers." Jake replies.

I slap the back of his head as Bella glares.

"I'm sorry. I know. They're the good guys. But come on, Dracula One and Two and that Finn guy are creepy."

I felt a wave of anger come over me as Jake insulted Finn.

The eldest Mikaelson wasn't that bad once you got to know him. He hid himself away from others, ashamed of what he was and his inner demons.

Bella pulls up into Dads driveway as he and Sue come walking out of the front door.

My niece bolted out of the car and into her grandfather's arms, a huge smile on her face.

I hopped out of the back, and into the passenger side.

"Piper and I, actually have a few errands to run, guys. We'll be back soon okay?" Bella tells our dad.

Jake sent my sister a knowing look before he walked inside.

Bella was soon headed off towards Seattle, while I typed away on my phone, a small smile on my face.

Alice's note had given my sister a new sense of hope. Maybe Alice had a plan for us after all, and maybe J. Jenks was the key.

I smoothed out as Bella and I walk into the restaurant.

"We're meeting Mr. Jenks." Bella tells the host as I apply my lipgloss.

We were then led to a private section of the restaurant with a curtain separating us from everything else.

"Mrs. Cullen, Ms. Swan." A man, who I assume is J. Jenks greets.

My sister spoke, while I just smiled.

"I'm so happy you called. I always meet my private clients here. It's more comfortable than the office." Jenks spoke.

I sent him a weary look as he continued to speak.

"I've been working with Alice and Jasper for more than 20 years. And my late partner knew Jasper 15 years before that. He is, uh, unusually well-preserved."

I giggled at the innocence Jenks possessed.

"I trust Mr. Jasper is enjoying his vacation?" Jenks asks.

My eyes snapped up to meet his, and words rushed out of my mouth.

"He didn't tell you where he was going, did he?"

I wanted to know where my best friend was.

"No, no, no, he just mentioned that he was leaving when he came by to place his orders." He spoke quickly.

I narrowed my eyes.

"I assume that his orders are ready?"

The black man slid an envelope towards Bella and one towards me.

I watched as my sister opened hers, revealing two passports and documents for Ness and Jake.

I opened mine next, to find a new identity and a birth certificate with Ness' new name on it.

I looked over at my sister with sad eyes. Ness and Jake would be safe, but her and Edward wouldn't be. And I was somehow involved in this.

"There a problem?" Jenks asked, noticing my shocked expression and my sisters crestfallen one.

"No. My husband and I thought that we'd all be going together, leaving Piper uninvolved."

I wanted to scoff at my sisters words. Like hell I would let her take my niece away from me without going with her.

"It's my mistake. Apparently, that's not going to happen." Bella spoke, sadly shoving everything back into the manilla envelope.

We didn't even get to eat, as Bella wanted out of there quickly as possible.

It was now clear how Alice's vision was. Renesmee would have a future and so would I. My sister and her husband just wouldn't be apart of it.

When we got back to the house after picking Ness up, I walk right into Nik waiting arms.

"Is everything alright love?" He questions, placing a soft kiss on my temple.

"As good as it can be under these circumstances."

Nik didn't push any further, but went back to a conversation he was having with Stefan.

I thought of the information I had just received. If this didn't go as we hoped, and it came down to a fight, I would have to escape with Jake and Ness. I would have to leave my sister, Rose, Kol, Katherine, Nik behind.

I would have to do everything in my power to get to Ness if things went wrong, but also protect those I love, no matter that the cost.
