Tomoe stood in a large dark cave. It had taken him forever to get in but finally he had done it. He knew that Nanami and Hikari were close but something was off and not right. Tomoe noticed red blood on the rocks. It had to be either Nanami's or Hikari's, he hoped that neither were hurt all that badly.

"Well look who decided to stop by." Said an echoing female voice that sounded like Hikari. Was it Hikari? "Tomoe the famous wild fox. Not so wild anymore I hear. Tamed by a human girl I see." Then out of the dark shadows appeared Hikari. She was wearing the blue bikini that Kei had leant her but there was something about her that was off. Instead if standing there like she normally would she had her left hand on her hip and was almost posing looking at Tomoe with a seductive smile.

"Who are you?" Tomoe asked knowing straight away the this was not Hikari.

"I leave your sight for a while and you forget all about me. How hurtful that is Tomoe."

"You cannot forget someone you never knew. You might look a little like Hikari but you are not her."

"How cruel you can be. I personally thought that my disguise was perfect."

"As if a child's trick like that could fool me." Said Tomoe with a sly smile. Hikari's imposter ran a hand through her fake white hair and smiled at him.

"I should have known that I could not fool you but perhaps you and I can have a little fun." Said the fake Hikari moving closer to him. Tomoe did not move, not out of fear but there was a part of him that wanted to hold this woman that looked like the woman he loved. He was almost over come by desire but he restrained himself. The fake Hikari came very close to Tomoe's face. He could feel her breath on his face and he body heat, that reminded him that she was not Hikari. Hikari was cold to the touch but that was something Tomoe loved about her. She was cold in touch but not in heart. She was one of the warmest people he had ever known but to touch her, to look at her, you would never know. "Don't you understand? You will never get anywhere with the real Hikari. I am as close as you will ever get. So why not just let your desire for her put through me? I would be more than happy to accept your affections unlike Hikari who I know will only reject you."

"You speak as if you know her well." Said Tomoe now completely indifferent to the closeness of her.

"I would not say that but it is not hard to get to know a monster like Hikari. They are always the same."

"In all the tome that I have known Hikari I have never once thought of her as a monster."

"Of course you haven't. She hides herself within that human form well. She allures people in with her fake kindness and beauty but when you think you are safe that is when she kills you in cold blood." The fake Hikari moved away from Tomoe knowing the he was not going to accept her.

"You seem to have quite the grudge against her."

"How could I not? She stole the heart of the man I loved and then she killed him. Ryuu was his name, he was the reincarnation of a dragon. A very powerful and rare yokai but he feel for the monster that is Hikari, for reasons that I cannot fathom."

"So you simply wish to seek revenge for this Ryuu?"

"I do indeed. I intend to kill Hikari along with the human land God that clings to her so tightly. She will learn what happens when you get involved with monsters."

"That I cannot allow. I would have wished you good luck with killing Hikari, I know that that would be no easy task but you raise a hand against my mistress I have no choice but to intervene."

"Is that so? And what will you do against me? I am water and you are fire, not even your flames can defy that water will always put out a burning flame."

"Perhaps you are right and I cannot win but even so I will try."

"And if you lose what will happen to your little human Mistress?"

"She will still be safe. Hikari will protect her."

"As if a heartless thing like her will raise her fist to protect a human. Even if she did she is in her human form, she cannot use her black magic."

"How stupid you must be to think such a thing. Of course Hikari can use black magic she just chooses not to as if she does she will no longer be able to turn back into the human form, but you see that human form is already dying. She will have to turn back to her yokai form eventually, she has been holding out for Nanami's sake but if Nanami was in danger there is no doubt in my mind that Hikari will use her black magic and give up her human form to save her. Either way you have lost this fight."

"You seem awfully confident. Tell me have you by any chance fallen for Hikari, the minster with the pretty face just ask Ryuu did?"

"I would not know that for certain as of yet but ifI said that I do would you try to kill me too? Purely because you are jealous of Hikari?"

"Me? Jealous of her? You really understand nothing."

"Oh I understand perfectly. You had unrequited love for Ryuu who in turn chose to give his love to Hikari. After his death you most likely sort to seek revenge and have been looking for Hikari all these years. The only part that I am unsure of is if Hikari returned Ryuu's feelings?" The fake Hikari huffed.

"Weather she did or she didn't is un known but can someone really love someone that they killed? I doubt that she knows how to love, it's not something a cold blooded killer would understand." Tomoe's fingers twitched. He needed to attack this girl, he needed to save Hikari and Nanami but he could not raise a fighting hand against her. She looked too much like Hikari. "Now I have other matters to attend too." She flung her hand towards Tomoe and a box of water surrounded him. The water was like walls and there was a roof. He was trapped. He very slowly reached forward and was about to touch the wall of water when he heard the fake voice of Hikari from behind. "I wouldn't do that. It might just be water but these water walls have a current in them that is moving at 150 miles per hour. Sticking a limb in there would be like sticking your hand into a shredder. It is the perfect prison for you, your black magic will not work against it. As I said before water always puts out a fire..."
