you were just sitting watching rose and asriel when sans pulls up a chair next to you, you look at him and smile sans returns the smile and asks "uh, do you wanna dance?" his skull turns a little bit blue, it's the same hue you saw when you came down the stairs, and you wonder if it's his blush, you blush slightly "u-uh, sure?" you say sans takes your hand tentatively and leads you to the dance floor,

all thoughts of teasing rose are gone from your mind and you hoped against hope that rose and the others would not tease you about your head turning into a cherry as you and sans are dancing,

soon a slow song comes on and your already cherry red face turns to a deeper red same with sans but blue and apparently decides to take a break which you're grateful for,

you sit next to him somewhat near a corner and try to make conversation "so, are pap and metta dating?" sans looks at you and rolls his 'eyes' and replies "unfortunately, yes," you smile and cock your head sensing that sans wasn't enjoying the fact "it seems that you don't like that"

it was sans' turn to smile and said "guess not" you hear the slow song ending and immediately recognize the next song that comes next, you smile even wider and pull sans off his feet by grabbing his forearm bone and dragging him to the dance floor

sans, not expecting this, almost gave no resistance, and when he got the dance floor you let go and let the crowd cover you, you giggle slightly as sans searches in vain to find you, finally the crowd let a break and sans found you on the other side of the little circle as the song goes to the lyrics

"oh don't you dare look back just keep your eyes on me" i said "your holding back" she said "shut up and dance with me"

sans' 'eyes' widen as he comprehended what the lyrics meant and he tried to say something but you said "shut up and dance with me" right in tune with the lyrics you take sans' hands and smile, sans smiles as well and you start to dance right in beat with the music the beat covering any other thought as you focused on making moves to match the beat and sans was making sure his moments matched yours, and soon the other guests around you started to pick up on it and danced in tune with the beat too, copying your and sans' movements

and pretty soon everyone on the dance floor picked up on it and you saw a glimpse of rose and asriel dancing with the beat, but it was just a glimpse and you were to busy thinking about the moves of the dance and all too soon the music ended and when you stopped you were met with everyone clapping at you and sans, you smiled and blushed a little, you saw sans in a equal amount of embarrassment and he quickly guided you to your previous seats you sat down and the music started up again

you and sans sat in a comfortable silence as you thought over what just happened, finally sans made a effort to start conversion "well, that was exciting" he said chuckling you smiled and laughed a little and said

"yeah, i guess it was," you said you added "your a wonderful dancer you know" sans smiled and said "so are you, how did you do it?" he asked you shrugged "i have no idea, i just felt the beat and followed my instincts" sans nodded "same here, it was so weird"

you smile and wanted this night to last forever but sadly it would have to come to a end sometime, but right now, it seemed that time had stopped and that you and sans would share that moment forever.
