  when y/n gave me permission to play with frisk, she grabbed my hand and made a beeline for upstairs, i giggled airily and followed her, when we reached the landing frisk kept a hold of my hand and took me into the room me and brothers slept in last night, when she closed the door i sat down on sleeping bag next to the twin bed, frisk sat down next to me and signed 'ok, i really want to know, would you ship sans with your sister?' i furrowed my eyebrows and tilt my head to the side, 'ship? do you mean like a sailboat?'

  frisk shook her head smiling 'no, like, anime shipping' i blinked 'oh, uh, maybe?' frisk clapped her hands before signing 'well, i just thought, your sis likes making puns right?' i nodded and smiled as memories come forward of y/n making puns and jokes, then agrian yelling for her to stop 'yeah, she really does, and i found that sans does the same?' frisk smiled back and nodded 'well duh, have you SEEN him do a pun battle? he's pretty much the champion' i crossed my arms giving frisk a skeptic look, i brought my hands out of the cross to sign

  'one time, my sis and my brother Elijah had a pun war...y/n won by a landslide' frisk grinned 'then she's never battled sans- we're getting off topic, so, would you?' i put my hand on my chin and thought about it, i mean, now that i think about it, they have a bunch in common y/n and sans have magick...though i won't tell frisk that y/n has powers until she gives me permission, they both like to joke, and they're both short, i chuckled a bit on the last observation smiling up at frisk i signed 'you know what? i think i ship them' frisk clapped her hands again 'awesome! do you mind if i tell anyone else?'

  i shook my head 'not in the slightest, though, don't tell sans or y/n' frisk smiled mischievously 'oh, of course not, what's the fun in that?' i chuckled 'right, so, what do you want to do now?' frisk's eyes sparkled 'come up with names for the ship' i giggled 'ok' as we started to brainstorm ideas, i thought i heard yelling that sounded a lot like my brothers and paps but i kind of ignored it, smiling, guess y/n made one to many puns 'what about s/n?' frisk gasped and nodded 'that's perfect rose!!' i smiled 'ok, now we have a name, what do you want to do now?' frisk put on a thoughtful expression 'i don't know, what do YOU want to do?'   (a/n s/n= ship name)

  i bit my lip and turned to the wall, as if it would reveal something to do, frisk stared at the wall as well, and we just sat there for a while...just staring at the wall...until frisk turned toward me again 'do you like to draw?' i nodded and grinned 'yeah...i'm not the best at it though' frisk beamed and signed quickly 'be right back' she then raced out of the room, i wondered what frisk would have, my question was answered when frisk came back holding a fabric bag, decorated with blue and magenta stripes,

  frisk sat across from me and dug into her bag for a few seconds, when her hands came back out they were filled with paper, pencils, and colored pencils, after placing them down she signed 'well, practice makes perfect!' she then took a pencil, and a piece of paper and handed it to me, i smiled 'thank you' and grabbed a hard cover book,

  getting a second one, i handed one to frisk and placed the piece of paper on the top of it 'thanks!' frisk signed and went down sketching on her paper, i looked down at mine, wondering what to draw, then i realized that i wanted to draw something from a long time ago...i don't know if i remember it correctly, it's been a while since i had seen it, but i wanted to try, as i draw a line lightly i found the memory from where i got the idea

"moooom, do we have to?" Elijah wined as mom put a clean dark green shirt on him "yes dear, it'll be good to get out of the house for a few hours" mom looked at the direction of the couch where my father sat with a younger y/n sitting next him, rubbing a sore spot on his hand, i was on my mom's hip and saw a flurry of motion as she tried to grab a running agrian "but mom, i don't want to- gah!"

the younger agrian was cut off by being grabbed by the collar of his orange shirt "Cain, help me out here please!" the figure sitting on the couch next to y/n groaned and y/n chuckled "it's alright dad, i got it" y/n smiled, it was filled with amusement, 

she got up from the couch and went to agrian "hey, agrian, do you want the tickling dinosaur to come out?" agrian shook his head, a slightly fearful look upon his face and Elijah sat down in a chair, not looking like he wanted to move, y/n smiled and looked up at mom,

"there you go, need anymore help?" mom smiled and nodded "that would be wonderful y/n" she chuckled, took a comb, and started on Elijah's mess of black hair, styling it like it was now, Elijah grumbled and y/n laughed, a bright sound, like a musical note "oh, hush, one day you'll thank me for this"

Elijah rolled his eyes, and y/n kept a smile on, her outfit was a long f/c shirt with a pair of black leggings, blue shoes, and her crystal necklace around her neck like always, the sleeves ended at the elbows, and with her bright, kind, e/c eyes, she looked really pretty,

 as that was my 5 year old brain thought, my own outfit was a yellow shirt and light purple leggings, mom's was a dark blue shirt with a pair of blue jeans, her blond hair creating a contrast against the dark color,

but her dark blue eyes fitting it perfectly, when y/n was done with Elijah's hair, she moved on to agrian who was more vocal on his complaints "y/nnnn, whhhyyyy" all y/n did was chuckle and keep doing what she was doing, again, styling it like it was now "agrian, sometimes for pictures you have to suffer, you can mess it up afterward k?" agrian looked up "promise?" y/n smiled "promise"

when we were in the car, y/n started to sing along with the radio like always, all of us liked her versions better, so with the radio turned down so she could listen to the lyrics, she smiled at the song that just came on and started to sing the lyrics which i remember perfectly, and i won't forget anytime soon...

when she finished we arrived at the photo place, when everyone climbed out i grabbed hold of my mom's hand as we crossed the street, when i looked at the building which had some company that i couldn't read on a sign at the top of it above the door, my dad opened it up we entered, i looked around and saw that a lot of picture frames and posters,

 a lady sat at a desk, her clothing was a black shirt with the same logo on the sign outside, and short cropped black hair, she looked up as we came in "ah! the l/n family, right on time, come this way please"

the lady led us to a separate room a black backdrop stood on one wall, a camera stood in the middle of the room, a couple of umbrellas were beside it, light in the center, and a laptop with dozens of wires connecting to it. "please stand in the center of the backdrop" my mom picked me up and placed me against her hip and walked to the far side, my dandelion yellow hair bounced along with me and settled when mom stopped walking,

y/n and agrian stood next to us, dad and Elijah standing next to them, "alright! now if i could have big smiles!" the lady used her two pointer fingers and touched them to the corners of her mouth smiling, i gave my best smile i had and a split second idea, i raised my arm and waved at the camera, the lights flashed and the lady straightened up and smiled "well, now, that's a nice wave you've got there sweetie" y/n looked at me and chuckled, i put my arm down

and beamed at her saying "can we see the picture?" the lady chuckled and walked to the laptop "of course you can! come over here" i looked at my mom "down please" she smiled and set me down and i walked over to the lady, agrian, Elijah, and y/n followed me and looked at the laptop and there sat the picture that was on our wall a few weeks later...but after a month or so....

it wasn't correct anymore...

~<~<~<~Memory End~>~>~>~

  as i finish outlining the border, i looked my finished drawing, it looked exactly like the one that was on our wall, as i look at the y/n in the picture i see the bright smile, the twinkling eyes, and i can't help but compare it to now, her bright smile has dimmed, her eyes hide our past, as a result, the twinkle is almost gone... you know the phrase 'the eyes are a gateway to the soul'? well, in y/n's example, that gateway is closed, though everytime she uses her magick it's temporarily opened and you can see what she hides under her persona,

  tears come to my eyes, and try to blink them away but the opposite affect happens, i push the paper away so it won't be ruined, and wipe away my tears, frisk looks up at me and a worried look spreads across her face 'rose? are you ok?' i sniff and nod smiling 'yeah, i'm fine frisk, it's just the drawing i made has a sad memory' frisk looks at my drawing and widens her eyes 'is that your family?' i nodded again 'y-yeah, it is' frisk looked back down at the paper, 'are you going to show y/n?' my eyes widened and shook my head violently 'no! i can't....if i do-' i shiver and just shake my head 'it's not gonna happen'

  frisk looks even more worried but doesn't press, instead, she carefully takes the picture and puts it in a empty zip lock bag that was in her bag, she hands it to me 'then you might want to find a place to hide it' i nodded and took the bag, putting it in my sleeping bag i turned back to frisk 'so, what did you draw?' frisk smiled and held her picture up, in it stood three goat-looking monsters, two skeletons, a fish lady, a dinosaur, a light blue ghost, a humanoid robot, a arm-less monster, and right next to the figure that resembled frisk, was another human, this one wearing a green sweater with a yellow stripe in the middle,

  i looked at the picture and started to name the people in it toriel, king asgore, alphys, undyne, napstablook, mettaton, MK, frisk...i didn't know the other two 'frisk, who's the other goat, and the person next to you?' frisk smiled 'the goat is asriel, and the other human is chara, they're siblings, that's why they're next to each other, next to asgore and goat mom' i nodded smiling, chara and asriel, 'i didn't see them downstairs...can i meet them?' frisk's smile fell and she shook her head 'they're both dead...asriel turned into flowey, a soulless flower, and chara helped me underground as a ghost...i don't know where she's now..'

  frisk put the paper down and a knock was heard from the other side of the door, warning us that someone was coming in, a moment later Elijah's head poked out and he smiled at the slight mess of colored pencils and paper, "i thought you might be here, hey rose, toriel wants to properly meet you, that ok? or are you in the middle of something?" i smiled and shook my head 'i want to meet toriel as well, lead the way big bro' Elijah smiled and i started to clean up the mess, frisk helped and when we put everything back into her bag, we followed Elijah and i turned my head to frisk 'is toriel nice? she seems to be like a mother'

  frisk smiled and nodded 'yep! she's a great mother figure, i look up to her a lot, though she can be over protective at times' i giggled 'y/n's the same way, but what kind of sister isn't?' frisk chuckled and when we reached the bottom of the stairs i walked over to toriel with frisk beside me, y/n had her head on the back of the couch, her eyes closed and a small smile on her lips, toriel smiled at me "oh! you must be rose, my name's toriel, it's nice to meet you"

  i nodded and smiled 'it's nice to meet you as well toriel" toriel's smile grew a bit wider, i stole a glance at y/n and found that the small smile on her face was calm and content, i mentally screamed in happiness, y/n's always so uptight and ready to spring out at a split second notice, my smile grew and i sat down on the floor frisk joined me and looked around me, and i saw that everyone was relaxed, there was no tension, no taut string threatening to break, i sighed and looked up at y/n
