In the Outlands, just beyond the magical world of Chima, ten heroes are on a mission. Two Legend Beasts remain trapped by the Crawlers, along with Cragger's father, King Crominus, captured months earlier in the Gorge of Eternal Depth. The eight Chima heroes must come to the rescue, along with the human ninja and the snake friend. These are The Legends of Chima.

Cue to "Unleash the Power" opening song.

Y/N woke up to hear Cragger's shout and looked over to see him moving around in his sleep rapidly and was about to go and help when she saw Lavertus near him. He was looking over at Cragger closely to hear what he's saying until he woke up. Both Cragger and Lavertus gasp in surprise.

"What are you doing here? And why are you so close to me?" Cragger asked.

She listened closely as they talk.

"Ha, ha, I am not close. Or am I?" Lavertus laughed, getting a little closer

"Cut that out!"

Cragger pushed him away, feeling already annoyed with those words.

"Sorry. Heard you shouting in your sleep. Just trying to help. Or was I?"

Boy, does he love saying that...

"Hey, you don't talk to anyone else like that here. Why me?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. Or do I?"

"That's it. I've had enough of this. My father's nearby, and I have to find him." Cragger said, picking up his two-bladed weapon.

"What? No, he can't be."

Y/N raised her eyebrow at his sudden change of tone. She feels like he had some sort of bad history with King Crominus, but what was it?

"I mean, you can't. It was just a dream."

Cragger noticed something and pointed it behind Lavertus' back.

"What's that?"

"Oh, heh, heh, it's nothing."

"It looks like a scarf my mother used to have."

He grabbed something in Lavertus' hand towards him to reveal a pink scarf that matches Queen Crunket's dress. Where did he get that if it belongs to her? Lavertus quickly pulled that away from him, holding it close.

"Nope, sorry. You can't have seen this on your mother. It's very, very old."

"There's a painting of her in our castle from when she was young, wearing a scarf exactly like that."

"Oh, really? Well, uh, I mean, okay. Maybe it belonged to your mother a long, long time ago. Heh, heh. But it's not like it's my most prized possession in the entire world or anything. That I lock in my secret room and only bring out in the middle of the night when no one is looking, so I can talk to it. Heh, heh. Not at all. Sorry I had to lie. The boy can never know our secret." Lavertus laughed nervously, while whispering some strange words to the pink scarf.

This got Cragger and Y/N confused as they can clearly hear him what he was saying in those last parts. What a weirdo.

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Oh, uh, nothing. Hey, didn't you say your father was nearby? Maybe you should check on that. Okay, great, bye-bye."

With that, Lavertus walked away. That lion is strange sometimes as Y/N thought. She looked at Cragger and noticed his look and didn't like that.

"You know, maybe it's not such a bad idea to take a look around."

Cragger ran off and opened the door and went outside, closing it behind him. What he didn't notice the tessen went into the gap of the door and stopped it before it can fully close and slowly opened to reveal Y/N as she quietly followed after him. Howls were heard throughout the night like the ones in scary movies. She was surprised that Cragger can be pretty fast for a Crocodile. She climbed up the tree and grabbed the vines to make sure it's strong enough for her to use it to swing herself over to the next tree as she did. As she swing, jump, and flip, she noticed Worriz is also here as he and Cragger went off together. Looks like they found each other and had decided to find something important together. Great... Y/N then made it to a stop onto the next tree that's above Cragger and Worriz. They looked through the big leaves to reveal the Outlanders walking past by in their vehicles. She also noticed Worriz's Mother Tooth was glowing bright white as he wasn't kidding about the Legend.

"Can you turn that thing down a bit?" Cragger quietly asked.

Worriz quickly put the tooth down to hide the glowing.

"Sorry."

Suddenly, another howl was heard.

"Legend Beast!" Worriz exclaimed excitedly.

This made Y/N tensed to see one of the Scorpion soldier heard something and walked over to where Cragger and Worriz are hiding. She doesn't know what those two are talking about and overheard the word Wolf Beast and looked over to see it was indeed the Wolf Beast as it knocked the enemies away, chained up. Spiders threw webs at the Wolf Beast's muzzle to stop it from howling. King Scorm walked over to it angrily.

"Can't you keep it quiet? Or do I have to do everything myself?"

He stabbed the Wolf Beast with his sharp tail, causing it to stop moving and yelp in pain. Y/N frowned at that, knowing the poor animal doesn't deserve that. She noticed Worriz is about to go after it when Cragger quickly stopped him.

"Not now, Worriz. There's too many of them." he whispered.

Wolf Beast struggled to fight back against the control venom when King Scorm stabbed it again and it howled once more. Cragger had to hold him still as Worriz struggled to go after the Wolf Beast, hating to see it in pain.

"Calm down, Worriz. We can't help anyone if we get discovered."

Cragger is smart on this one. Y/N saw the Wolf Beast stopped moving and its eyes glowed green and began to walk normally. She squinted her eyes at something behind the Wolf Beast. There was a wooden cage and inside was King Crominus.

"Dad, I'll save you!" Cragger shouted, going after him.

Nevermind, he's not THAT smart. Worriz held him by the tail and pulled him back.

"Did you not just tell me to calm down?"

Cragger is about to move when Worriz held him back.

"But it's my father."

"I know, but we can't help anyone if we get discovered."

Y/N sighed, face palming herself at the sudden switch of events.

"Who says?"

"Uh, you did, about a moment ago."

Cragger pushed him away.

"Doesn't matter. I have to--"

Before Cragger could go after his father, Y/N jumps down and appears before them and blocks his way, pushing him back.

"Saving your father now isn't going to work without a plan."

"It has to. I have to go to him. He's right there."

"You're not thinking straight." Y/N glared.

Worriz steps back as Cragger and Y/N spar as they talk.

"I am."

"You're not."

Y/N kicked his foot back before he could take a step further. Every move he make is no use as she kept stopping him while blocking his attack.

"I am."

"No."

"Yes, I am."

"You've seen those Outlanders. You know what they can do."

"So? I just need to get to father and save the Legend Beast and then we're off. All done and clear."

Y/N twisted his arm, making him whimper quietly. Then she pinned him to the ground with his arm up behind his back.

"There's an army out there. Everything they see, they see. So there's no sneaking up on them. You'll never get close enough to him."

"It's gonna work." Cragger said.

He got up and tried to take her down, but she was too fast and she managed to knock him down with her foot on his cheek. They stopped sparring.

"If you want to save him, you need a team to come help you. Doing this alone will bring nothing."

This made Cragger sigh in defeat, knowing she's right. She notice his relaxed body and let him go as he stood up.

"You're right. There's no way I can save my father and stop the army without my friends. Laval would kill me if he finds out I went out alone."

Y/N frowned and was about to say something when a blue bird intervened and pecked into Cragger's sharp teeth.

"Oh, Craggy-wag. I can smell your delicious teeth from across the jungle. How I missed you." the bird cried out in relief.

"What's he doing here?" Worriz asked.

"Oh, it was so awful. I was kidnapped, dragged to this savage land, and then forced against my will to do... dental work."

The blue bird began to cry and Y/N felt bad for him and held out a finger towards him. He immediatedly noticed her and landed on it as she gently stroke his head to calm him down.

"There, there."

"Oh, hello there. Never seen you before. What a lovely lady you are."

"Thank you. My name is Y/N."

"Plovar. At your service." Plovar smiled with a slight bow.

"Wait, you love picking teeth." Worriz said, getting to the point.

"Not this time. I had to fix the fang of their dreadful queen." Plovar said with a small whimper.

"I'm guessing it's that Spider Queen..." Y/N said not surprised.

"Yes!"

"What? They can't do that." Cragger gasped.

"And between you and me, that's one creature who needs a lot more than dental work, if you know what I'm saying."

This made Y/N giggle while Cragger nod in agreement, leaving Worriz confused.

"I never know what you're saying, but can you say it quieter? I hear someone coming."

"Okay, but the only thing that spider's queen of is the Uglies."

"Shh!"

"Plovar, please keep quiet. We're about to be spotted."

But they were too late as the Outlanders surrounding them with weapons pointed at them.

"Who exactly are the Uglies, and why am I their queen?" Queen Spinlyn said with a glare.

Y/N hissed at them, ready to fight them off. She looked at Cragger and Worriz as they backed up against each other. They gave her a look, asking if it's time. She nodded and they got into their position before they shout something that confused them.

"Ninja, go!!"

The trio did their Spinjitzu, knocking down the army. The Outlanders were beyond shocked at this new power as they were send flying with a yell. King Crominus was amazed at this. Just as they were about to help him after taking down the enemies, webs were thrown towards them as they got stuck, except for Y/N. She hissed at them and transformed into a large serpent. Y/N whacked them away with her sharp tail as she slithered through them, knocking them off balance. She was about to go help the Crocodile and the Wolf when she felt something hard against her neck. She roared loudly and tried to get it off, but it was too tight. She noticed the metal collar was around her neck with the handle attached to it as it's being held by King Scorm.

"Make sure this Beast is held as well."

The next thing they knew, they're in the cage with King Crominus. Y/N can't turn back into her human form with the collar around her neck as she's trying to get it off while they're being taken away by the controlled Wolf Beast.

"Nice going, Plovar." Worriz scoffed.

Cragger and King Crominus hugged each other.

"Ah! Dad!"

"Cragger!"

"I missed you so much. I'm just so happy we're together again."

"Me too, son. Oh, how I've longed to see our family and tribe once more. Tell me, is everyone okay?"

Worriz and Y/N looked at them.

"Yeah, they're all great. Well, Crooler, you know..." Cragger said.

"You didn't listen to her, did you?" Crominus raised his eyebrow.

"Maybe a little, but it all worked out eventually."

"And your mother?"

"She's fine. Lavertus rescued her."

"Who??"

Suddenly, Crominus was mad and shocked to hear that name. Looks like Y/N was right about them having bad history as Cragger answered for him, not knowing what's going on.

"Lavertus, also known as ShadoWind. There's a gang of us looking for you and the Legend Beasts. He's been helping us out."

"You say he rescued my queen?"

"Well, yeah."

Crominus turned around, growling.

"Oh, no. Not Lavertus."

"I know what you mean. Kind of a strange guy. Wait, you know him?"

"Once, long ago." he said, turning back around to face his son.

"We're you friends? Because he's been really strange to me."

"I'm sorry, son. I never meant for you to find out about any of this."

"Find out about what?"

Crominus was silent for a moment.

"I'll tell you later when I'm ready. By the way, who is that large beast over there?"

He pointed to Y/N, who's struggling to get those collar off.

"Oh, that's no Legend Beast. That's a serpent. And her name is Y/N. She's a human. You just saw her form." Cragger happily introduced, walking over to her. "She's been helping us a lot. She even taught those cool things we never knew we were capable of."

"Like the tornado called Spinjitzu you just saw earlier." Worriz added proudly.

"Wow... Well, it's nice to meet you, Y/N."

"The pleasure isss mine, Your Majesty." Y/N hissed out with a bow before going back to getting the collar off.

"Need help?" Cragger asked.

"No need. I got thiss."

"I don't think you do..."

Y/N just rolled her eyes in response. Cragger looked through his pocket to find anything until he found what he was looking for.

"Aha!"

He pulled out a familiar blade. Y/N's tessen.

"My tessen! How'd you--?"

"That's easy. While you were busy dealing with the Outlanders, I managed to slip my way through the webs to grab any weapon that will get us out. Plus, you dropped it."

"Wow... Smart."

"Thanks..." Cragger blushed, making Crominus noticed it with a smirk.

Y/N held her head still as he raised the blade of the tessen and swiftly strike at the metal collar, causing it to fall off from her neck in two. She rubbed her neck to ease the pain before transforming back into a human. Crominus was amazed by this.

"I could tell you've got some questions, but right now. Maybe later as soon as we get out of this."

"Right."

"You might want this back."

Cragger handed her tessen to Y/N. She gratefully take it.

"Thanks, Cragger."

"No problem." he smiled shyly.

"Let's hope our friends will find out we were gone."

"I'm pretty sure they will."

The ride went on throughout the night.

They are now back in the cave where they found the Raven Beast and the giant statue of the Scorpion. The Outlanders are sharpening their weapons while Scorm, the Bat, and Spinlyn are having a talk.

"Our combined forces shall squish the invaders here in honor of the Great Scorpion in the Sky." Scorm said.

"Oh, please. Everyone knows it was The Great Spider in the Sky, who dropped that Chi down here for us." Spinlyn scoffed.

"Nonsense. There is only one creator: The Great Scorpion."

"Spider."

"Scorpion."

The Bat tried to calm them down, but their arguments are getting heated.

"Spider!"

"Scorpion!"

Scorm brought out his sharp tail while Spinlyn fired out web as it trapped his tail. He immediatedly flunk it down to get it off, accidentally stabbing the Bat with his poison and trapping him instead. The Bat hissed out in pain before collapsing. Y/N and the others watched on unamused.

"These bugs really bug each other, don't they?" Worriz said.

"Tell me about it." Y/N agreed.

"Sometimes I think they'd destory each other if given the chance." Crominus said.

"Well, then maybe there's a way we can give them that chance." Cragger suggested, looking at the Outlanders through the bars as he had an idea.

Suddenly, they heard loud booms, yells, cries, and roars coming from outside of the cave. Their friends are here!

"It appears our guests have arrived. Let's give them a very warm and painful welcome. Grab your Chi on the way out. Time to squish." Scorm said as he and the others drove out to fight them.

It was silent for a moment and the figures comes in from the fog to reveal Laval and others riding the Legend Beasts!

"For Chima!" Laval shouted.

Laval and others fought them off as one of the Spiders was sent flying and fell right in front of Cragger and others that are in cage.

"Come on, we've gotta get out of there and help them." Cragger said.

"I have an idea. Remember that funky fang?" Worriz said, pulling out the Mother Tooth and placing it in the Wolf Beast's mouth where all the teeth are.

Wolf Beast's eyes turned back to normal. Looks like the Mother Tooth undo the mind control. It howled in happiness to be free and bit the chains off from its neck and knocked the wooden cage off, freeing the prisoners. Worriz hopped onto Wolf Beast's back and together they battle against the Outlanders. Laval came over to them with the Crocodile Beast before hopping off of it.

"Your turn."

"Thanks, Laval."

Cragger and Crominus hopped onto the Crocodile Beast. Saskia, who was on Laval's shoulder the whole time, jumped off and slithered towards Y/N with a tearful smile.

"Y/N!"

"Saskia!"

Saskia wrapped herself around Y/N's face to hug her tight.

"I was so worried about you."

"No worries. I'm fine."

"Oh, and Lavertus wanted to give you this incase you're in big trouble."

Her snake friend brought out a cool new ninja star powered up by a Chi.

"Whoa..." Y/N gasped in awe at the sight.

"And it's nice to see you're safe, sir." Laval greeted Crominus.

"None of us are safe yet. Especially the Lion Beast. We heard it roaring."

A big green blast was thrown on the ground, creating a loud explosion as they turned to see a lot of Outlanders in their vehicles with their powered up Chi. They send out more blast towards them.

"They're too strong! Get to cover!" Cragger shouted.

They all ran to the giant boulder to avoid the blasters.

"How do we fight those things?" Laval asked.

Y/N got an idea as she remembers doing this with her ninja friends when they're completely outnumbered. She was about to tell them when Cragger beat her to it.

"We get them to fight each other."

He ran towards the next boulder while avoiding the blasts as he hid behind the sculpture of the Scorpion.

"Ceasefire! No one hit The Great Scorpion!" Scorm ordered.

"Should've been a Great Spider." Spinlyn rolled her eyes, crossing her arms.

"Actually, it was neither." Cragger stated, confusing everyone.

"What??"

"You wanna know who really dropped that Chi into your cave?"

"This should be entertaining. Sure. Why not? Tell us." Scorm said.

"It was a Great Lion." Cragger said, making Y/N confused on what he means by that.

"What?!"

"Oh, please!" Spinlyn scoffed.

"No, really. I was there. There was the time when Crocs and Lions couldn't agree on anything, especially when it came to Chi. This one Lion was so intent on keeping those Orbs away from us that he threw our Chi into the Gorge of Eternal Depth. But the Gorge is not eternal, as you all know. It leads down here, to your cave system where a few innocent creatures first tasted the power of Chi. And now here we are. No Great Spider. No Great Scorpion. Just this lion, Laval."

This made the team look at Laval, who looked down with a regretful sigh.

"Dude, you mean, all this is your fault?" Gorzan asked in shock.

"Oh, well, sort of."

"So instead of some Scorpion or Spider, you should be building a statue of a Great Lion. All hail Laval!" Cragger said.

Scorm and Spinlyn were silent for a moment as they glance at each other before turning to him.

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Squish them all!"

"Huh?"

Cragger quickly ran back to his team as he uses his Spinjitzu to go faster to avoid the blasters being fired and stopped in front of Laval and Y/N, who was giving him a deadpan look.

"That was your plan?"

"Hey, it was worth a try." Cragger defended.

"Let's just get into that fortress and rescue the Lion Beast. Come on."

Laval heads off to the fortress where the roar was heard before. He stopped and turned to see no one moving or following him.

"Hey, what are you waiting for?"

"Uh, sorry, I'm still trying to process this. You threw the Chi down here that created these overgrown bugs?" Worriz asked, looking a little mad.

"Uh, yeah. Well, big mistake. But I'm trying to fix it. Come on."

"So, my friend, you did not think to tell us about this?" Razar asked.

"Well, I mean, it never came up."

"Preposterosity." Rogon said in an anger.

"I may be a cheater and a thief, but you, my friend, cannot be trusted." Razar said, looking mad.

"I'm sorry. But I didn't think it would cause all this trouble."

"Are you all seriously doubting Laval now after what Cragger just said?! So what? Everyone makes mistakes and there's always something to fix." Y/N said, looking at everyone in disbelief.

"She's right. Things were different then. We didn't know--" Eris started but was cut off by Worriz.

"You and Cragger both knew about this?"

"Ah, yeah, sort of."

"And you?" he asked Y/N.

"No. I had no idea. Plus, even if I did knew about it, I would still be willing to trust him unless he fix his mistakes."

"So not cool." Gorzan said with a frown.

"Look, I understand you may not wanna trust me or follow me into that fort, but the fact is, we can't save Chima unless we get the Lion Beast too. I messed up, but I'm trying to make it right." Laval said, looking saddened to see his friends suddenly doubting him.

"He's right, you know. Look at how far we have come. We all did this together." Y/N said.

"That'sss right." Saskia agreed.

Laval nodded in agreement with a grateful smile that she still trust him.

"We need a moment to discuss this." Worriz said before he and the others began to murmur amongst each other.

Y/N looked at Laval with a saddened frown, mouthing 'I'm sorry.' Laval gave her a nod, knowing she tried. He turned his back, glancing at his friends to see them not looking at him except for Y/N and Saskia. He's had enough and began to run towards the fortress.

"Laval!" Y/N and Saskia exclaimed in shock.

"Hey, where's he going?" Cragger questioned.

"Laval, wait!" Eris called.

But the Lion ignored them and kept running while dodging the incoming fire from the Outlanders. Suddenly, with one more blast, the laser hits straight towards Laval and a loud explosion was made, shocking the team.

"Laval, no!!" Cragger shouted for his best friend.

What's gonna happen now? Is Laval dead or is he really okay?
