In the magical world of Chima, the animal tribes stand united and defend Mount Cavora from Chi-stealing Bats and Spiders. In the savage Outlands, Laval and friends rescue two Legend Beasts, but five remain trapped. Who is this rhino girl that stowed away on Rogon's truck? What was that the human girl Y/N is secretly hiding that she can't let them know? And what exactly does the exiled lion Lavertus keep inside that strange room of his? These are The Legends of Chima.

"Who took my stuff?!"

Today, Lavertus is having a really bad day, looking very angry as he stomped past the people who're sleeping in their futon. This made everyone wake up from his sudden shout.

"Huh?"

"What happened?" Laval asked, stretching his arms.

"My stuff! It's gone! From my locked room over there!"

Lavertus pointed to the secret door Eris was curious about. He skid over to Eris, who's sitting up.

"Well, was it you?" he accused.

"Me? I'd never steal. It must've been someone else. Did you ask Razar? Those ravens are the biggest thieves around."

Eris pointed to Razar, who's leaning against the table with his arms behind his head.

"Why, thank you for the compliment, my friend. But sadly, I cannot take credit for this heist, yes?"

"Then what about Rinona, the new girl? What do we know about her?" Eris asked, glaring at her.

Rinona placed her hands on her hips in disbelief.

"Hey, why are you blaming me?"

Y/N immediately stood up and ran over.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. No one's blaming anyone! And I thought you're cool with Rinona!"

"I am, but not fully."

Cragger went beside Y/N.

"Y/N is right. Until we find out what exactly was stolen."

"My stuff! That I keep in my locked room. That's all you need to know. So I'm just gonna step put and calm down for a moment."

Lavertus headed over to the door.

"When I return, I either want my stuff, or I want all of you gone."

With that, he's gone, leaving them to deal with the sudden rob.

"Looks like he's in a bad mood. Whatever it was stolen must be very important." Saskia said, slithering over to Cragger's shoulder.

Laval turned to Razar.

"Razar, are you sure you didn't--?"

"Yes, I am. But now that he makes the big fuss, I am intrigued, yes?"

Razar ran over to the secret door and pulled out a lock pick to unlock the key hole door.

"Uh, are you sure that's a good idea?" Y/N asked, feeling unsure about this.

"Hold on, we can't just break into--"

Too late. Razar already unlocked the door and what he saw made him squak.

"Ah! Holy Razoli."

Razar dropped the lock pick and ran inside. Everyone followed after him to where Razar stood. In front of them is the blue and red helmet-like boar.

"No way! Is that what I think it is?" Cragger gasped.

"This looks like it belongs to... ShadoWind?" Laval questioned in shock.

"Shadow who?" Y/N asked, raising her eyebrow.

This led to everyone explaining that to her. Turns out this ShadoWind had been helping Laval and others in saving Chima as well as winning the race who's a champion of them all. He was a mysterious rider who never speaks until now. Now they discovered that Lavertus is ShadoWind the whole time, or is he? Looks like they're about to find out. They head out of the secret door to see Lavertus screwing something beneath that red cover and grabbed something that's rolled up and that's where they stop him. They have a bone to pick with him.

"Going somewhere?" Cragger smirked as everyone stares at Lavertus.

Lavertus quickly hide something behind his back.

"Uh-- Yeah."

Laval walked over to him with a helmet in his hand.

"Don't forget your helmet."

Lavertus takes the helmet.

"Thanks."

He was about to put it on when he stopped to realize what he had done.

"Um--"

"So you are ShadoWind." Laval exclaimed.

"Care to explain?" Y/N questioned, glaring at him.

"What? Heh. No. Where'd this thing come from?" Lavertus laughed nervously.

"Your secret room." Eris smiled.

"Huh? What were you doing in there?"

"Finding out you're ShadoWind." Cragger stated.

"Me? But I've never even heard of that guy. Or girl. Could be a girl. Did you ever think of that?"

"No, it's a guy." Laval said.

"Everyone knows he lives in the Outlands, yes?" Razar asked.

"They do? I mean-- No. I can't be ShadoWind."

Lavertus tried to walk away with his stuff he's hiding behind his back, but they're not letting him off that easily.

"Right. Because if you were, you'd need some kind of super-challenging Speedor track to practice on." Cragger pointed out.

"Exactly. That doesn't prove anything."

"You're also holding his clothes." Eris added.

"What? These old rags?"

Lavertus showed them the suit of ShadoWind.

"And is that ShadoWind's Speedor?" Worriz pointed at the red cover.

"No, ShadoWind rides a completely different Speedor now. I mean, I have no idea what you're talking about." Lavertus lied, trying to come up with the excuse. "I can't be ShadoWind. I'm just some lion living in the Outlands, who happens to have the same helmet."

"And clothes."

"And Speedor."

Worriz walked over to the cover and uncovered it to reveal a Speedor with a same color as Lavertus/ShadoWind's helmet and clothes. Lavertus went in front of the Speedor.

"I told you, ShadoWind doesn't ride that one anymore. I was just grabbing some parts off it for my new Speedor. I mean ShadoWind's new Speedor. I mean-- Ugh."

"There's no reason to hide anymore. It's not good for you." Y/N stated.

Lavertus sighed in defeat.

"Okay. Yes. There might be a slight chance. I'm perhaps-- Possibly-- Sort of-- Maybe this rider that you call ShadoWind."

Lavertus placed his helmet on.

"Now, if you don't mind, ShadoWind needs to chase after the real thief. I figured out it's not any of you by the way."

Laval walked over to Lavertus/ShadoWind, who's about to hop onto his speedor.

"You can't just admit to being ShadoWind and then run off without helping us."

"Why not?"

"Well... because you're our hero. How many times did you save us?"

"And my mother too." Cragger added.

"Your vigilante hero story was very interesting and I got to say, I'm impressed." Y/N said, starting to like this guy.

"Your helmet and your armor looked cool." Saskia added.

"Dude, Chima would be Bogus City without you, ShadoWind. I mean, Lavertus. I mean, dude." Gorzan said.

"Yeah. So why won't you help us now?" Laval asked.

"But I have been helping you. Remember the cupcakes?"

"We need help saving Legend Beasts, and my father, King Crominus." Cragger spoke.

Suddenly, Lavertus got angry and growled. Something got him triggered.

"Never. And if you don't like it, you can all leave. Now, get lost!"

Everyone were surprise and shock.

"What? You can't just kick us out." Eris said.

"Yeah, dude, so not cool." Gorzan agreed.

"Yeah, you're the one who let us in without any problem." Y/N glared with Saskia snarling a little.

"And there's more of us than you."

Worriz was about to give Lavertus a piece of his mind when Laval quickly grabbed his arm to prevent him from making it worse.

"Look, there's no need for this. You've been very kind to us so far, Lavertus. We'll go peacefully. But first, we need to race."

Y/N's eyes sparkled to hear "race".

"Huh?" Lavertus scratched his head in confusion.

"I mean, come on, you're ShadoWind. Chima's greatest racer ever. And we're some of your biggest fans."

"Fans? Really?"

"You can't expect us to leave without spending quality time on the Speedor track with one of our favorite racing heroes."

"Me? A hero?"

"Yeah."

"I have been anxious to try out my new super speedor." Lavertus admitted, feeling flattered to hear Laval's words.

"And just to make it interesting, how about a small wager?" Laval suggested, getting his attention. "We'll move on without another word."

"We will?" everyone questioned in confusion.

"But if we win, you help us save the Legend Beasts."

Lavertus removed his helmet with his raised eyebrow.

"Hm."

Y/N watched from above the tree she's standing on with her binoculars out as it was all according to Laval's plan as he and Lavertus/ShadoWind are in the starting line with their speedor and motorcycle. Rinona toss the spiked orange ball in the air and hit it with a hammer, making a big pop and the two lions took off. The race went on pretty interesting as each of her friends take turns riding Laval's speedor as Cragger went next and knew it will be her turn as her eyes glowed snake green.

"Hey, where'd you come from?" Lavertus/ShadoWind asked in shock.

"Sorry, but we fight as a team. And we race as a team."

Cragger looked up at Y/N and gave her a wink. That was a signal as Cragger got off of the speedor and Y/N brought out her snake hands as they landed on the handle and she jumped in, controlling the speedor, quickly turning back to normal as Lavertus/ShadoWind looked away for a second.

"What? Is that even allowed?"

"Yes. Why not? Better look out, though." she warned with a smirk.

They stopped to see a spinning giant boulder like hammer as Lavertus/ShadoWind pulled over to stop himself from getting hit. Y/N took a chance as the boulder was about to move back as she pulled the engine to make it go faster as it went under the boulder nearly getting it hit.

"Ninja, go!!"

Y/N made her Spinjitzu as she spins her way over the moving boulder and landed on the speedor in time, turning off her Spinjitzu and went back to racing, shocking Lavertus/ShadoWind as he caught up after going through the boulder. She looked up to see Laval with Razar guiding him down through his flight. Y/N saluted them and jumped off the speedor with a pose as Laval landed back on his speedor. They're now close to the finish line as Laval was in the lead and made it first place with Lavertus/ShadoWind coming in second. Laval is the winner as his friends cheer for him.

"Yes!"

"Yeah!"

"Way to go, Laval!"

Lavertus removed the mask and threw it to the ground.

"No fair!"

"Speedor Race Rules say nothing about mid-race substitutions." Laval pointed out with a smile.

"Yeah. Because no one's ever been able to pull it off before." Worriz agreed.

"Nice work, team dudes." Gorzan said.

"But... I lost. That never happens." Lavertus said.

"Don't worry. It took nine of us to beat one of you. You're still the champ as far as I'm concerned."

Y/N was surprised Laval mentioned nine of them that includes herself and felt... happy.

"Working together, there's nothing we can't do." Cragger added.

"Exactly. So ready to work together with us, Lavertus?"

Lavertus sighed in defeat and nodded with a smile. Looks like things will work out as they expected.

They're now in their speedor and their Legend Beasts as Lavertus takes the lead across the bridge to the plant forest.

"This way, everybody."

They then made it to the rocky area when the slab came falling down.

"Quietly, please. Or else..." Lavertus warned as the big slab fell off from balancing towards the other fallen rocks, causing the yellow murky water to move from the impact before it stopped.

Everyone looked at each other with caution and proceed to take off. Eventually, they made it to the cave where there's scorpion guards outside. The tribes looked over there quietly and heard a noise.

"Look. Over there." Lavertus said.

They looked up to see a Raven Legend Beast, holding the Golden Chis.

"The Raven Beast." Razar gasped.

"With Golden Chi he stole from me." Lavertus said.

"So that's where you hide them." Y/N said.

"Ah." Razar sighed in bliss. "The Beast is a master criminal who eludes his pursuer. This warms my thieving heart, yes?"

"Except for one thing. He is working for the Scorpions."

Raven Beast landed in front of the Scorpions, dropping the handful of Golden Chi to the ground.

"What?! How'd that happen?" Razar exclaimed.

Lavertus sighed.

"I fear this is all my fault. I wasn't always the Great Mystery Rider you know as ShadoWind. Not long ago, I was just an exiled lion, minding my own business in the Outlands. All of the sudden, they showed up. Bats, Spiders, Scorpions. No, thank you! I needed to protect myself. So I began racing in Chima for the Golden Chi. Since I was in exile, I had to hide who I was. The Golden Chi I won helped me build my Gauntlet and my lair to keep me safe. I was storing the rest so I could make higher walls around my place. Guess walls aren't enough anymore. Not when these Scorpions can control the mind of a Legend Beast."

"Ah! Impossible. We Ravens are crooks, but we are not bad guys, my friend." Razar said.

"It's not the Beast's fault. Once they sting you, the Scorps control you mind. That's why I built this armor for the other Legend Beasts."

"Mind control? You mean like when you use a Persuader Plant on someone and they do whatever you say?"

Razar was referring to the part that happened when Cragger turned evil because of Crooler's plant she use.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Cragger looked away, not wanting to remember that.

This made Razar laugh a little.

"Nothing. Must've been thinking about something else. Anyway, I'm just glad I brought along my secret weapon."

Razar came over to his speedor and pulled a bag that held something big inside.

"What is it?" Worriz asked curiously.

"Ah. It would not be a secret weapon if I told you what it was, yes?"

This made Worriz growl and cross his arms.

"Okay, Lavertus knows this cave. Razar and I will follow him in." Laval said.

"The rest of you, follow me." Cragger said.

They all cheered as they took off towards the cave with their speedors and Legend Beasts, catching the Scorpions' attention as they began to attack them. Laval, Razar, and Lavertus jumped over the Scorpion guards from the slide up rock as they head inside the cave, leaving Cragger and the others deal with them from outside to hold them off. Y/N, who had her ninja mask on, glared at the Scorpions that attempt to attack her as she blocked their weapons with her sais and backflipped away from them and did her Spinjitzu, making them feel dizzy as they're caught inside before they were send flying off towards the Scorpions as they crash into each other. As their battle went on, Y/N noticed the scorpion was approaching Bladvic from behind.

"Bladvic! Watch out!"

But it was too late as the scorpion stung the bear with his sharp tail, making him yelp.

"Ah! That stings! Uh-oh."

Bladvic's eyes turned green.

"You are under our control now, foolish invader. Attack your friends!"

Bladvic growled at Cragger and approached him, making him turn around ready to fight back when the bear suddenly yawned and fell asleep. This shocked the Scorpions and made Cragger and Y/N smirk.

"Ha! Even your scorpion venom can't keep that bear awake."

Cragger charged at the scorpion guard and knocked him away with his mechanical bow. More scorpion guards came over as Y/N looked over at the three and smirked.

"Hey, Scorpions! Wanna see my new move?"

They looked at her in confusion and shrugged.

"It's called... Triple Tiger Sashay!"

She jumped up into the air, stomping on one, flipping and punching another, and headbutting the last only to land perfectly on her feet and playfully claw the air like a cat.

"Man, I love that move! Cole would be so proud of me!"

"Whoa..." Cragger looked at her in lovestruck, punching the scorpion from behind without looking back.

The Scorpions kept coming at them as the animal tribes defend themselves while knocking them away. Y/N was busy dealing with more Scorpions to not notice one is coming up towards her from behind with their tail brought out. Eris noticed it and tried to shout to her to look out, but was too occupied with the Scorpions that are in her way. The Scorpions noticed them come behind her and smirked, confusing Y/N until they piled up on her, pinning her to the ground as one of them struck their sharp tail on her.

"Ow!!"

"Now you're under our control. Attack your friends!"

But she wasn't going to give them satisfaction as she struggled to fight against the venom inside her. She kept trying and trying as she's starting to lose control and looked at her friends. Looks like she had no choice. Her eyes turned snake green as she easily fought off the venom and hissed at the Scorpions, showing her pale snake face.

"What?!"

Suddenly, they were thrown off into the air with a yell. The loud hiss roar was heard, gaining everyone's attention. They turned and froze to see a full serpent form of Y/N as she hiss at the Scorpions, who cowered before her until she began to attack them by whacking them away with her sharp tail. She slithered through them, knocking them away. Cragger and the others were beyond shocked at the sight of the serpent that's tall as the Legend Beasts. More Scorpions came her way and she wrapped her tail around three or four of them, tightening her grip a little and then spit out venom in multitasking to blind the Scorpions that attempt to free their comrades before throwing them towards one another. One tried to attack her from behind again when her back mouth from the back of her head hissed at her, scaring them. The back mouth bit onto the weapon and shake them as they were thrown off and dropped the weapon. Y/N kept attacking each of the Scorpions without any problem as she stretched out her snake hands to bite them. She then gave them a loud hiss roar again as some began to run away from her. She kept hissing with her fangs out when Cragger slowly approached her.

"Uh... Y/N?"

Y/N without a second thought snapped her head and hissed at him, causing him to jump. She stopped to realize it was Cragger and what she had done.

"Cragger..."

Y/N quickly changed back to normal as her clothes were shown without any problem.

"Sorry, sometimes I get too carried away..." she said, looking away in shame.

"Y/N... Is this what you didn't want to tell us?" Eris asked carefully approaching her.

"I... Yeah..."

Y/N turned to see Scorpions still coming at them.

"We'll talk about it later."

She didn't bother to hide as she activate her snake hands before charging them along with the animal tribes. A few minutes later, Laval and Lavertus came out of the cave with Razar riding the Raven Beast.

"Here comes one golden opportunity."

Laval and Lavertus jumped up the rock over the Scorpions, dumping out golden paints on them. Raven Beast dived down and snatched the Scorpions after seeing gold on them and dropped them on a pile before coming back to do the same with the rest. Once the last of them were finished, they ran back inside the cave screaming in fear. This made everyone cheer for their victory, except for Y/N. Even though, she was happy that they won, she also revealed her secret.

They're back to Lavertus' lair as the animal tribes brought out their cupcakes in the air with a cheer once more.

"Only four more Legend Beasts to go!" Cragger said.

"And now with the help of ShadoWind, there's no way we can't suceed." Laval added.

This made Lavertus sigh with a smile on his face. They then turned to Y/N, who's in the corner far away from them holding a cupcake as Saskia attempt to comfort her by slithering herself around her neck.

"Not to mention, we got a little help of Y/N's form." Eris frowned.

"What's going on?" Laval questioned in confusion.

"The form you guys saw was my serpent form. Which is my shapeshifting power." Y/N explained, showing them her pale face with green slithered eyes along with her snake hand.

"Whoa..." Razar awed.

"Dude.." Gorzan awed.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Laval asked.

"Because she's afraid you guys would be scared and wouldn't accept her. That's why she has to hide." Saskia said.

"Oh, Y/N..." Rinona frowned.

Cragger approached her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"If that's what you're worried about, don't. Honestly, I think what you did back there was pretty cool. And you look amazing."

Y/N looked at him in shock and surprise.

"Yeah! Your serpent form was amazing and powerful!" Eris added with a smile.

"Not to mention your snake hands. And the way you brutally beat them down, you earned my respect." Worriz smirked, crossing his arms.

"Your serpent form was pretty, dudette." Gorzan smiled.

"Even that move you called the Triple Tiger Sashay thing." Rogon added.

"What they say. Even with the new form of yours, you're still part of our team. You even helped us so much in defeating the Outlanders and saving the Legend Beasts." Laval said.

"Yeah." Cragger nodded in agreement.

"You're still our friend as well." Eris said with Rinona nodding.

"You guys..." Y/N's eyes began to tear up. "Thank you."

"Come on, let's celebrate our victory!"

Everyone cheered once more as they ate their cupcake. Saskia looked at her, grinning.

"Told ya they would like you."

"Yeah... You're right."
