Another break in?!

"Windrow Sycamore 922. This is it." Soshi said, pulling out the slip of paper, before handing it to Aya.

In return, Aya handed the metallic shiny object and Soshi grinned, as he started to get to work, silently.

"Wow, it's so big." Aya said, impressed at the size, taking a step back to admire the big house.

"This is not the time Aya! Focus." Miya said, as she grabbed Aya's hand, a bit stressed.

"Sorry." She mumbled, sadly, as she looked at Miya.

"It's ok. Just stay focused." Miya said, kindly, as she nodded. "We can't slip up." She whispered.

Aya nodded, as she looked more focused now, more ready.

"Alright, let's go." Soshi said, quietly, as he had finished picking the lock on the door, the metallic lock pick falling to the floor, but Soshi caught it with his foot.

"Alright." Soshi said, as he looked at Aya for the paper.

Aya fumbled around, handing him the paper, nervous.

"I'll go in first, you all follow." Soshi said.

Both the girls nodded, as they looked serious.

Soshi walked in, looking around for any sign of movement. There was none, considering the fact that the family just so happens to be out that week for vacation.

Soshi grinned, as he ushered for the girls to follow him in.

Aya stumbled a bit coming in, nerves getting to her.

Miya was collected, calm....Too calm.... She looked around, spotting things she could take.

"We're here for money only." Soshi reminded them, as he quietly walked up the stairs. "Keep guard and keep quiet. I'll only be a couple minutes." Soshi whispered, as he swiftly went upstairs.

Miya nodded, saluting sillily, as she gave him a cheeky smile, as he rolled his eyes at the top of the stairs.

After a while, She looked around, wandering, watching the windows, staying out of sight and stuff. She sighed, a bit upset she couldn't do more to help.

Aya nodded to what he said, a bit distracted.
There was an art set in the other room.
With actual art stuff.
Aya bit back her tongue, as she refused to let out an excited squeal at the art supplies. Aya walked to the precious art supplies and picked up a paintbrush tenderly.

"No. He said only money." She said, setting it down, as she started to walk away.

She bit her lip, as she fought with herself.

"He said...Only money.....But....I want it so badly!" She said, outloud, struggling.

She looked around, looking to see Miya looking through a old book, not paying attention to Aya.

"Maybe....If I take only one.....Only one......Right." Aya said, nodding, happy with her choice.

She ran over to the brush, picking it up gently and pocketing it quickly looking overjoyed.

"Oh my gosh, it's so perfect!" She whispered, happily.

She started taking small, worthless objects for the rest of the family, as she thought she was helping, as she hummed quietly.

Soshi was upstairs, near the safe room, as he nodded, sweating a bit, nervous.

"Ok, just remembered what Hibiki taught you." Soshi said to himself, as he nodded, opening the door to the room where the safe was.

He glanced down at the paper with the code on it.

22, 19, 04

"All I have to do is get it to these numbers into it, take some money, and then we leave." Soshi whispered, as he approached the safe quietly.

He starts at the safe, dauntingly, as he felt dread entering his stomach.

"I can do this. It's easy. Hibiki can do it, then so can I." Soshi encouraged himself, as he felt his fingers shaking.

"Ok, 22....." He started, turning the dial to the number, as he winced at the clicking of the safe.

"19." He continues, as he twists the dial the other way.

He twists around his shoulder, nervous.

"I'm fine. Everyone is asleep.... We're ok." He said, as he looked back at the dial.

"Last one.....04." He said, finishing up the code, and the safe popped open with a quiet click.

He let out a breath, as he looked at all of the money in front of him.

"Alright...." Soshi said, as he nodded, breathing heavily. He was really nervous and worried. He looked down at the sheet of paper.

Only 16 stacks at a time.
18 if things are bad.

"Alright, 18 it is." Soshi whispered to himself, as he grabbed the money, shoving it in his pockets quickly, nervous that he'd be caught.

Once that was done, he closed the safe quickly, his fingers fumbling around blindly. He scooped up the paper and dashed down the stairs.

"Ok, Aya, Miya, time to go." He whispered, as he raced down the stairs.

Aya nodded, hands in her pockets, as she walked quickly.

Miya nodded, putting the book back and running after them.

The three kids ran off into the night, feeling proud and full of adrenaline.

Aya leapt through the peeling door, as she sighed, panting from the run.

Miya was smiling, red in the face, as she looked pleased and happy. "Soshi." She said.

Soshi ran in right behind them, slamming the door shut behind them.

"I....I did....It." He said, panting, out of breath, a big grin on his face, as he showed them the money he took.

"Nice! Now, go put that away." Miya said, as she nodded.

"Aya, what's in your pockets?" Soshi asked, noticing.

Aya froze, looking guilty.

"I-i, uh......Um....Took some things." She said, as she empty her pockets, little toys and knicknacks falling out.

"Aya! I said only money!" Soshi scolded.

"I know...but....but..." Aya said, tears in her eyes, as she ran up the stairs, holding onto her paintbrush tightly.

Miya watched Aya go, as she sighed. "Really needed to be that harsh, Soshi?" She asked, a bit skeptical.

Soshi huffed, crossing his arms. "She didn't listen." He said, crossly.

"I'm going to go to bed. We have school tomorrow. Get some sleep." Miya said, patting Soshi's shoulder, before climbing up the stairs.

Soshi sighed, as he listened to her climb up the creaking stairs, before looking down at the rotten floor. He sighed, as he felt the guilt hit him hard.

He started to pick up the objects and set them on the small table in the living room.

"I'll apologize in the morning." Soshi said, as he walked up the stairs, heading to bed himself.

Aunty Clair chuckled at them slightly, from a bit away. She was outside the orphanage, as she sighed, proud of them. She hasn't been out at night since.....That....night...
Her fingers twitched in anticipation.

Could she get away with it?
Could she do it once again?
Could she.....Risk it?

No, she can't. She has her little blossoms to think about....

But....Then again, they need the money badly....

She could....
She could pull it off....

A wide grin spread across Aunty's face, as she watched her blossoms go back inside their house, before smiling to herself.

It was time for a heist of her own.

And she was going to enjoy every minute of it.
