Training Hundreds of Miles Apart.
Ochako grunts hardas she's kicked in the stomach once again by Miruko, this time however she's sent skidding across the training room floor. Interning with the Rabbit hero Mituko in her agency the two had been sparing most of the morning. The kick to the stomach resulted in Ochako slamming into a rack of weights. Coughing up some blood from the force of the strike, she scowls and wipes the blood from her lip before glaring at the rabbit hero. The white haired caramel skinned beauty merely smirks without a single scratch on her as Ochako stumbles to get back on her feet after the last blow she had taken. Glaring hard at the rabbit themed hero she sparks more explosions in her hands before blasting off of the floor and twirling through the air. Miruko easily predicts that Ochako is going for a headshot and nimbly dodges out of the way. As Ochako twists her body to spin and counter Miruko's movement she's kicked once more, this time she's sent flying into the heavy punching bag before falling to the ground.
"Alright. That's enough for a half pint you're plenty powerful but there's a lot you need to work on." Miruko says as she stands over Ochako who is on all fours breathing heavily. "Oh quit bellyaching, I didn't hit you that hard."
"You hit me hard enough to destroy a vending machine with my body..." Ochako says through pants before registering the half pint insult. "And who are you calling a half pint! I'm taller than you even with your silly ears!" She shouts.
"My ears aren't silly. They're adorable. Second I called you that since you're still just a fledgeling hero ya brat. Stand up and let's have a chat." Miruko says helping Ochako to her feet, once doing so she leads the brunette over to a bench before handing her her water bottle. "So, tell me a bit more of this Midoriya guy you're with." almost instantly Ochako's expression turns to a happy and warm smile.
"Izuku is perfect." She says in a lovey dovey tone. "We've known each other forever and we recently got together. We'd spend days at a time with each other growing up. Because our parents were super close, whenever my brother started crap around the house, all I had to do was tell them I'm going to Izuku's house and they'd let me stay there with him for as long as I wanted. He is my best friend and he's now my boyfriend. I can't wait for the day he asks me to marry him." Ochako says with a close eyed smile with little love hearts floating over her head.
"Perfect huh? I'd like to be the judge of that." Miruko smirks, playing at Ochako after having concocted a scheme in her mind. "If he's truly as powerful as you say then perhaps you can have him show me."
"What? WHAT?!" Ochako shouts as soon as she pieces together what Miruko is on about. "There's No way in hell that I'd share MY Izuku. He's My best friend, My Boyfriend and My Hero. I'm not sharing him with You." Ochako roars, getting up and towering over Miruko, sparking explosions in her hands as she does so.
"And what are you going to do to stop me? You haven't managed to land a hit all day and besides. Think of how powerful a kid that All Might's brat could have. Especially with me." She eggs her on, "If your quirk is anything like I think it is, anger and emotion will be a boost to your power."
"You so much as put one of your paws on my Izuku. I'll blow you to smithereens, you fleabag." The brunette growls, her blood almost boiling with jealous fury.
"OH? Getting on with the insults now are we? I guess Aizawa was right about you then." She continues to eb at her, probing what makes her tick and what pushes the explosive brunette's buttons. "You're No different than your broth-"
"I'M NOTHING LIKE THAT ARROGANT SHIT!!! I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU EAT THOSE WORDS YOU BITCH!!" Ochako roars, punching Miruko in the stomach hard and setting off a blast at the moment of impact.
It was far more than the rabbit hero was expecting, both in how easy it was to get her angry and how much power was put into that one blast. Throughout her entire hero career she had never been hit that hard, by anyone for that matter. Even super strength quirk using villains had not hit her that hard. Then there was the heat from the explosion that was set off right against her skin. It completely melted through her hero suit, which was made by her support course to withstand temperatures high enough to melt hardened plastics. While it wasn't enough to hurt her badly, the burn on her stomach doesn't feel good either. The concussive force generated by Ochako's blast sends the rabbit hero sliding back against the floor as she arches her feet trying to stop her backwards movement. Looking up at the infuriated Ochako, Miruko smirks before raising a thumb to her mouth and wiping a bit of blood from the corner.
"There we go. So I was right. The more pissed you are the stronger your quirk gets. Why weren't you hitting like that earlier?" Miruko grins before pulling the melted spandex of her hero suit off of herself. "That explosion not only shattered a level 5 armor plate, and if you don't know those are supposed to stop sniper rounds, it also was hot enough to melt the carbon fibers in my hero suit. It didn't burn, it melted. Look at this." Miruko says, ripping off a piece of her uniform showing Ochako the melted spandex. "That was over 3,000 degrees Celsius. You almost turned me into a cooked rabbit haunch. I'm impressed."
"So you're not after Izuku?" She questions, relaxing slightly. "Was this some test or some crap?"
"Exactly half pint. I wanted to see if your quirk got stronger depending on if you got mad. So, I used the easiest way to get another woman mad. Jealousy." Miruko smirks before removing the shattered remains of her body armor. "Even through my suit, bullet protection and underclothes you still managed to not only leave a bruise, but a pretty nasty burn too. Doesn't hurt much and wont scar but you've been holding out on me this entire time."
"I... didn't even know I could do that."
"Well you do now, and going forwards you're going to do that with every blast. None of that wimpy shit your brother does. I think we should call it for today, I'm gonna go put some burn cream on and get my suit repaired. You can head to the sidekick dorms."
"You're not mad?"
"Why would I be mad? I half expected you to punch me in the face in all honesty." She says walking away. "Oh and tell All Might's brat I'll give him an autograph. You said he was a hero nerd after all."
"Speaking of Izuku... I wonder what he's doing? I probably should call him, but from what he texted me last night, his mentor's a geezer and doesn't let him use his phone." Ochako thinks as she goes to collect her water bottle and leave the training room.
With Izuku
"For being Toshinori's brat, you're really slow." Torino wheezes in his elderly voice, despite this he's giving the son of All Might quite the thrashing in their training. As if the apartment Torino stayed in couldn't get even MORE dilapidated, it isn't exactly helping that the old man is using his quirk to rapidly bounce off of the walls, changing directions and smacking Izuku on the head with his cane as he flies by. "Toshinori was twice your height and wouldn't let me dream of doing this to him."
"Well what do you expect! I've had One For All for all of two months." Izuku shouts in protest, swinging and missing as the geezer passes him. Once again Izuku is smacked on the side of the head with the wooden cane Torino uses. "AND STOP HITTING ME WITH THAT THING!!!"
"Show your elders some respect. You deserve this." Torino retorts, bouncing off the floor, jetting himself towards the moldy water stained roof, bouncing off a mold patch, flying towards the kitchen, kicking off against the microwave then back towards Izuku in less than a second. This time however, Izuku manages to dodge the attack from Torino, leaning backwards like something out of The Matrix and snatching the wooden cane from the geezer. This causes Torino to lose all his momentum in a moment as he's snatched out of the air still holding the cane in his hand. "Well then. You finally caught me."
"No thanks to you. That hurt. A lot." Izuku glared at the old short man below him before relenting and handing his cane back. "What's with old people hitting me with canes?! First it's Recovery Girl hitting both me and my dad and now you."
"What difference does it make? You and him never respect your elders and this was a test to see how much you can handle in a situation mentally." Raising an eyebrow, Izuku was about to ask what the old pro meant before he explained. "In a fight, brute force sometimes isn't the best way to go about things. Sometimes you need to use your wits and think while also struggling to keep your sense of composure. That's why I kept hitting you in the head with a cane." Gran Torino jumped up before dashing from side to side before kicking Izuku in the face and sending him into the table, shattering it in the process. "Also. It's kinda funny to see you get hit with a cane. Takes some mental anger I had on your idiot father out too."
"Ow. What the heck did dad do to make you willing to beat the crap out of his son?" Izuku slowly got up before having another attack nearly hit him in the head to dodge and notice something about Gran Torino's movements. 'When he moves in the air, there's a slight second when he breathes in after. Not only that, but his feet look like they're pushing off something when nothing's there.' Getting hit in the gut and sent back, Izuku monitored Gran Torino's movements again to see him jump around and destroy everything. Granted, the room was dilapidated from the start and destroying more wouldn't make it look any less, but still something to take note of. 'When he moves, his feet pivot certain ways.' The OFA user watched closely as Gran Torino's left foot pivoted right to move right upwards with a sharp inhale happening. The next was the right downwards for the same to happen. When he was close, Izuku punched frontwards before having Gran Torino dodge and move to the left. 'Now I have you.'
Izuku let loose a strong fist to Gran Torino's stomach to send him back a bit with him falling into one of the piles of broken things. 'He got my technique down. Nice job kid.'
Now realizing what he did, Izuku stopped and rushed to Gran Torino's side. "Oh my god! Are you ok!?" He rushed to Gran Torino's side for the older pro to hit Izuku over the head.
"Why wouldn't I be ok!? I'm perfectly fi-OW, MY BACK!" Gran Torino fell down while clenching his back for Izuku to worry he might've hurt his teacher. "AHA! I gotcha, kid! You should've seen the look on your face!" Not thrilled, Izuku let go of this and began sitting down on one of the still stable chairs to calm his anger with the elderly man.
"So what exactly is this training supposed to be? I'm not finding any logic in trying to fight someone while having them beat me up if I miss."
"To see where you are as well as see how your mind operates. For heroism, you need to have a flexible mind. Be ready to change how you're thinking. Not everyone fights the same way and you need to be prepared for that. I'm certain Toshinori had you only face one or two fighting styles thus far to know that there are far more unique ones out there."
"To some degree."
"That's what the problem is with Toshinori. He doesn't think of other types of fighting styles. Everything with him is a one trick pony. Right now, I'm breaking everything that the oaf taught you thus far so we can keep you flexible and not fall into the same mistakes he does. Now that we've gotten past that, we'll be doing some fights with real villains now." Gran Torino went into the other room with an empty suitcase while explaining what's happening. "We'll be heading to Kyoto tonight for you to face some real villains. Since there aren't many around here despite how this place looks, we'll have to go somewhere that there's one or two back alleys crawling with them."
"So why Kyoto? Wouldn't a place where more hero agencies be safer?"
"You'd think that, but crime in cities is higher than normal which is also why there are more agencies." The door shut with the elderly man shouting from the other room. "Get ready to spend a couple days there!"
"I swear, that man doesn't understand how insane he sounds half the time... but with him going to bed early. I can text Ochako!" Izuku mutters to himself before excitedly rushing to his bag and grabbing his phone. Quickly entering his password (Which is Ochako's Birthday) he hurriedly opens the messenger app and clicks on Ochako's kissing expression profile.
Izuku: Finally. Gran Torino went to sleep early so we can text. I haven't heard from you in over a day and he wont even let me read my book, much less watch television.
Well that sucks, at least we can text now, Miruko has something planned and we're heading south to Hosu tomorrow.
This sucks so bad! I can't even enjoy my favorite spot to lay in today.: Ochako
Izuku: You're going to Hosu? Gran Torino and I were headed up to Kyoto. This means we will still miss out on seeing each other since you're leaving Hosu.
Speaking of missing, I kinda miss laying down and having you hug me.
D-don't take that out of context please! I-I mean that as I like enjoying our time together and n-not that I can't physically touch you and.
Ha! My mother had always said you were innocent. Izuku, do I need to remind you we literally fuckd the dorms down. Besides, All this training has left me missing you, in more ways than one :Ochako
Izuku: W-what do you mean by that?
Izuku. Do I need to spell it out? Fine then, when we get back We're going to sneak off and you're going to smash me again, but we probably should keep it a little more reigned in than last time. :Ochako
Izuku blushed a bit at this before commenting back.
Izuku: Y-yeah. I think principal Nezu and Mr. Aizawa would agree we kinda went overboard last time.
Oh please, I think Mr Aizawa was more impressed that the building fell down if anything. :Ochako
Izuku: True. This was probably the first time someone actually did that in his book and it somewhat pushed the idea of the Quirk Doomsday Theory on him more.
Alright. I gotta get going, but I'm going to warn you when you get back. You're not getting the chance to sleep when we're done on the internships. :Ochako
Izuku felt a bit of blood trickle down his nose thinking of what they did last time and how now they'll be dealing with reuniting. 'Something tells me that when we're back in the same home, she'll treat me to heaven and hell.'
"Hey, kid! Get me some takoyaki! I'm hungry!" Now ashamed of becoming an errand boy, Izuku stood up from the seat he was in and walked to the door to meet the demand of his teacher.
"Yes sir." The door shut behind him with the thought of Ochako's destination tomorrow intriguing him. "Hosu, huh? If I remember correctly, Iida did his internship with a pro there. I wonder how he's doing?"
