With the days leading to the entrance exams of UA running down faster and faster, Ochako was trying to figure a way for Izuku to use his quirk. He is unable to use the power aside from all at once and seeing his arm shatter like glass from a single punch that he threw broke her heart. She had been his protector all their lives due to his quirklessness and now that he has a quirk he is hurting himself with it and she is powerless to stop it. She sits in a chair next to Izuku in the examination room of the Dr. Chiyo Shuzenji aka Recovery Girl. This is the third time this week she was fixing Izuku's arm and was starting to show her annoyance for the boy breaking himself with One for All. Each and every time Izuku was brought there by All Might, the old woman who smacked the pro hero with her cane repeatedly. It was hard for her to think with the chaos going on but something gives her an idea and then an epiphany.

"Deku-kun trained to be able to hold the power at a stagnant state so it isn't affecting his body. Since he is able to hold it, he can use it but why is it hurting him?" She thinks, staring at a glass of water out in front of her. "When he uses the power he's using all at once on a single point on his body. He isn't using the power through his body but forcing it to one point which exponentially increases the damage it does to his body..." She mumbles under her breath. Izuku hears her thought process and nudges her side to get her attention.

"I thought the mumbling was my thing Akochan?" he says bringing her from her thoughts but not causing her to lose her train of thought.

"You are but I may have figured something out. All Might had said that it's kinda like putting an egg in a microwave, you need to control the power output to the microwave or something like that right?" She asks, Izuku turns and stares at a particularly interesting tile on the floor in thought.

"Yeah he said something along those lines." He responds.

"Let's change the analogy, you wouldn't butter toast by putting all the butter on the corner right?" She asks turning to face him, her eyes showing a very determined look.

"No, it would be all gross and the bread would probably rip." The current OFA user states this understanding to some point what Ochako's pointing out.

"Then why are you using One for All that way?" Ochako points this out for Izuku to have a rather confused face.

"Wait what?"

"Yeah! What you need to do is, much like butter and toast, spread the power through your body to where it is equal at all parts and doesn't harm you." Ochako explains, causing Izuku's eyes and All Might's eyes to widen in realization.

"Why didn't I think of that?!" The two of them say in unison, Recovery girl face palms hearing this before rearing back and smacking Toshinori with her cane so hard it snaps over his head.

"Damnit Toshinori! Think this shit through before doing things! He's broken his arms in more places than there are villains in japan. You blonde haired, 7 foot tall belligerent oaf!" She exclaims repeatedly smacking him with the stub of her cane.

"We need to get you to do this and quick! The entrance. Ow. exams are in 3 days. Ow. Izuku. Ow. Try and see if you can channel it's power. Ow. through your body." Toshinori tries to talk with Chiyo, smacking him with her cane, breaking it further and further till she just throws the handle at him.

"Not in her dagnabbit! Go outside if you're going to do that! Don't break anything of mine and so help me god if he breaks his hands again I'm going to get a metal cane and break it over your head Toshinori!!!" Recovery girl screams before shoving Toshinori, who's pushing Izuku who's pushing Ochako out of the room. The little old woman slams the door so hard the middle of it bows out before retracting like a rubber band.

Getting back to Dagobah, Ochako re-explains her analogy for Izuku to use and regulate his power. He envisions a piece of toast before having a knife slather golden melty butter on top of it. Slowly he allows the power to flow through him, controlling how much is being let out at a time. Ochako and Toshinori smile seeing Izuku start to glow with power and for viens arcing with energy to appear over his body. Standing slightly squatting down his hand clenched into fists with a grin on his face feeling the power of One for All through his body. Ochako celebrates by jumping up and down and All Might flexes his buff form before giving Izuku a thumbs up. Izuku starts throwing punches to the air fighting his own shadow creating small bursts of air force with each punch. His kicks create swipes of air current that split down a poor sandcastle someone had left on the beach. Izuku cringes at this before flushing with embarrassment. Ochako giggles at this before motioning for Izuku to help her rebuild the sand castle.

"The fact that young Uraraka was able to figure that out so quickly was astonishing. On top of that, Izuku was able to use it on his first attempt without hurting himself." Toshinori thinks as he watches the two rebuild the sand castle but notices that Izuku is still glowing. "Izuku? You're still using the quirk."

"I am? Oh I am! Uh..." Izuku says looking at himself as if searching for something. "How do I turn this off?" He asks, causing both Ochako and Toshinori to fall backwards in the sand leaving their feet and arms in the air in an exasperated fashion.

"You don't know how to turn it off?!" Ochako shouts after standing back up.

"How am I supposed to know?! Every time i've ever used it it's always been a one and done type thing!" Izuku exclaims, starting to freak out.

"Well you better figure it out before you go home! Inko is going to flip if you break her fine china!" Ochako responds by trying to help Izuku by searching on him as well, though it probably won't achieve much.
"Just, breathe, relax it should turn off afterwards." Toshinori suggests holding back snickering under his breath.

"Oh... It worked." Izuku says with a sigh of relief, Ochako bursts out laughing at this clutching her sides.

The lsat couple days before the exams were spent training this new ability, Izuku had even coined a name for the technique. "One for All, Full Cowling." He names it, rationalizing the name with the fact that a full cowl is a cloak with a hood that covers the entire body. Toshinori had Ochako and Izuku train and spar against each other for the remaining days with Izuku able to defeat Ochako rather quickly with this new quirk. That is until she started using her own fighting style and not her brothers. Hers was far more acrobatic and unpredictable, Izuku was hardly able to follow her in the air let alone counter her punches. Their last training session ended with Deku buried in the sand and Ochako trying to keep the crab from clamping down on his foot much to Izuku's expense.

The morning of the exam, Izuku quickly got ready as quickly as he could putting on his tracksuit, which barely fit over his muscles, under his middle school uniform. Once leaving his house, he greets Ochako at the train station before boarding it with her. The two talk about what they are expecting with the exam and the practical portion. Ochako had even brought some breakfast made by Mitsuki for Izuku to have on the way there. Izuku wrote a note thanking the Explodo brunette's mother before the train came to a halt at their destination. Though the train station was a quick walk from there to UA, the two of them still hurried along trying to be there as early as possible. Just as he gets inside the gates of UA, Izuku stubs his foot on a lifted stone before falling forwards. Ochako manages to catch him before he face plants on the pavement.

"Come on Deku-kun, it would be bad luck if you fell on the first day." She says giving him a kind smile. Izuku returns the grin in fold before starting forwards heading to the testing hall.

"DEKU!!!" Katsuki growls from behind the two of them, the hairs on the back of Izuku's neck stand up in fear of the nuclear pomeranian.

"You just haaaad to grace our wonderful morning with your presence little brother. What did we do this time? Was it breathing within the same kilometer as you?" Ochako asks feigning happiness to see her brother before her expression turns very dark in an instant.

"I fucking told you to not come here." Katsuki says walking right past Izuku and Ochako.

"Like we give a rat's ass what you think spiky shit." Ochako retorts, sticking her tongue out at him.

"Oh go fuck your boyfriend Deku, round face." He grumbles before flashing them the middle finger over his shoulder and forcibly shoving his hand in his pocket again.

"He knows being angry all the time isn't healthy right?" Izuku asks with Ochako just shrugging.

"Who cares, he's gay so it's not like he can scorn the human race by having a kid." Ochako responds.

"You know there are people with quirks that let same sex couples have kids right?" Izuku asks as they enter the building.

"There is? Huh, you learn something new every day then." She says as she and Izuku part ways going to their written exam.
