I groan as I sit up, realizing I was in Ironhide's cab.

"You're awake." Ironhide's voice was soft.

"I am", I say as I look out the window and see that it was still dark.

"You know who you are now, don't you", he says softly. I nod before noticing that Bumblebee was leading us to Sam's house.

"I do. I am Starfire. I remember you, Ironhide. And... I remember my twin. Now I know why I hurt so bad when my human twin brother died. Because he was Silverburst. We still shared our sibling bond", I whisper, my mind almost going back to the day my twin died. I quickly shoved that memory into a dark crevice in my mind, not wanting to dwell on it any longer.

"Silverburst is dead?" I could hear the pain in his voice. I couldn't say anything so I just nodded my head. Ironhide sighed and I rubbed the seat, trying to comfort him. After a few moments, I broke the silence and changed the subject.

"So why are we all going to Sam's house? Well, it's my house too...", I trailed off.

"His grandfather's glasses have the location to the Allspark", Ironhide says, his voice gruff again.

I nod softly as we pull into the alley that was conveniently next to the house. I sigh as I hop out of Ironhide, meeting up with Sam and Mikaela.

"Hey, Sam. I'm gonna hang back here, okay?" I didn't look at him, I was watching my biological father.

"No, no, no, you can't- you can't do that. My parents are gonna wonder where you are", Sam says.

"I can do it, and I will. Just tell them that I'm out with Ron Edih or something. Judy will love that", I mutter, remembering what had happened that morning.

Sam was about to protest but I shut him up by grabbing his face and bringing it close to mine.

"Look, one these bots is my biological father. I realized that and that is why I fainted. I want to get to know him without him realizing I'm his daughter. Do not speak of this to anyone", I growl.

Sam gulps but nods. I let him go and he rushes off after telling Mikaela to watch them. I roll my eyes before going over to Optimus, putting up my walls and refusing to let them come down again. They've come down way too often in the past twenty four hours and I don't like it.

"Hello, Optimus", I greet him as I lean against the fence near him.

"Greetings, Kaetlen. How fares you?" He was very polite and I almost snorted at his choice of words.

"I am well. How are you?"

"I... could be better", he says, a slight hesitation.

"Would you care to share?" I was curious, though cautious, albeit I did not know why.

"Perhaps at a later date. For now, I fear Sam is getting off track", he says. I cock my head to the side.

"He is busy talking to another human", Optimus states.

I check the time on my watch. "That's probably his dad. It is past his curfew." Optimus grunts but transforms. "Optimus! Stay right here. You will only stress Sam out even more. I'll go talk to him, see if I can help look for the glasses." Optimus sighs but transforms back into a truck. I hear Jazz whisper to Ironide.

"Optimus normally wouldn't listen to anyone when it comes to these things. What's so special about a human?"

Ironhide replies with a vague answer. "There is more to her than meets the eye."

I roll my eyes before jogging to the door where Sam and Ron currently resided.

"Ron, Sam has some homework that he forgot to do. Would you please step aside and let him so he can do it? Especially since we have school tomorrow", I spoke as I came up to the door.

"Kaetlen! Where have you been?" Ron was very confused but he let Sam and I in.

"Out with a friend", I say vaguely.

"Was it that Ron Edih guy?" Judy was very anxious for my answer.

I mentally groan. "Yes, Ron Edih stole me for the entire day just as he said this morning."

"Is he still here?" Judy was now very excited and happy.

"I believe he has already left", I say, watching as Sam slipped upstairs to his room. I sigh before ignoring Judy's questions. I walk into the kitchen to get some water when I see Sam's bag on the counter. I sigh and rummage through it, finding a glasses case. I opened it to see, yep, the glasses. I sigh again before making my way upstairs and go into Sam's room to find Sam talking to Optimus through the window. Optimus sighs before going away. Sam looks at me and he sees the glasses case in my hands. Mikaela was also in Sam's room. I'm not even going to question how she got up here.

"You found them!" He was elated and tried to take them from me. I kept them away from him.

"Why should I trust you to hold onto these when you can't even remember where you placed your own backpack?" I was annoyed and Sam sighs before heading downstairs, Mikaela following. I pause for a second in my room, grabbing my small bag from my chair and placing the glasses case in it. I also put my phone and wallet in it because I was getting annoyed at my tiny pockets. I sigh before making my way downstairs, pausing on the last step, when I heard unfamiliar voices.

"14 rads! Tag em and bag em!" I did not like that voice at all. I make my upstairs back into my room, and going into a secret room I had discovered in my short time here. I don't think even Ron and Judy knew about it. I smile softly as I hear footsteps pound past. I hear them talking into what I assumed was a walkie talkie.

"Sir, there appears to be another female living here but there is no sign of her in the house." I growl softly at the thought of them going through my stuff but I restrained myself.

I hear a distorted voice come through the walkie talkie.

"Have you looked under the bed?"

"Affirmative. There's no one here", the first voice says. I sigh in relief as the footsteps fade. I hear cars drive away and was about to exit when I heard more footsteps. I tense as they come near my hiding place.

"Kaetlen, it is alright. They are gone." I recognized Ironhide's voice. I sigh and open the door to my hiding place. It opened inwards and was slightly difficult because I had to crawl in and out of it. Unfortunately, Ironhide's holoform was in the way. I sigh and tap his leg, causing him look behind him and down. Upon seeing me, he moved and helped me out of my small secret room.

"We must leave. They have taken Sam and Mikaela. We believe Sam has the glasses", Ironhide says as soon as I'm standing. I shake my head.

"He doesn't", I say quietly, as Ironhide turns to leave.

"What do you mean?"

"I didn't trust him with the glasses. So I kept them. He knows I have them. But we still have to go after them. We can't leave them at the hands of whoever that group was!"

Ironhide hums softly before coming back to me.

"Optimus will not go after them if he does not believe them to have glasses. So we will keep the glasses a secret for now. Until we get Sam and Mikaela back", Ironhide says.

"You mean... You will lie to your commanding officer? To help me get Sam and Mikaela back?"

Ironhide nods and I hug him tightly. He was very surprised but he hugs me back, softly at first but then tighter.

"I missed you, Starfire", he whispers. I smile softly.

"I missed you too, 'Hide. You may have only been my babysitter for a short while but I missed you all the same", I whisper, my walls coming down yet again. This time I didn't care. I had my 'Hide back. That was how I always referred to him when I was young.

"We should get going..." I still hadn't let go of Ironhide and neither had he.

"We probably should..." He releases me and I reluctantly let go as well, avoiding his eyes at all costs.

He lifts my face up to look at his.

"Hey. I'm still the same 'Hide you knew years ago", he whispers. "I'm still your 'Hide."

I smile at the teasing tone in his eyes.

"And I'm still your shooting Star."

He grins before leading me downstairs and to his vehicle mode. His holoform fizzles out and the truck roars to life, the passenger side door opening for me.

I smile softly and hop in, the seatbelt automatically going over me. I roll my eyes.

"I can do that myself, you know", I say with a small smile.

"I know. I just figured I should do it for a beautiful femme like you", he teases. I roll my eyes before a thought crosses my mind.

"Ironhide... Do you think I'll ever be able to get into my true form?" I was uncertain I would be able to.

"I believe you will find a way eventually. It may take a while but you'll figure out a way. And I'll be with you every step of the way."

I smile softly and watch as we follow after the rest of the Autobots. I feel a tug on my hea- spark and I gave in. I tugged back and Optimus was so surprised that he swerved. I giggle slightly.

"What did you do?" Ironhide was trying to scold me but amusement filled his voice.

"Optimus, was tugging on the bond... so I tugged back. I don't think he realizes that it's me though. Well, me as in my human form. He knows I'm alive now but he doesn't realize it's me. I felt a question come throught the bond. I focus on that instead.

*Starfire? I thought you were... Where are you?*

I smile softly.

*I'm a lot closer than you realize.*

*What? What do you mean?*

*You'll find out soon enough.*

*How is Silverburst? I haven't been able to feel him at all...*

I couldn't reply as grief overtook me. I know Optimus felt it because I could feel his grief as well.

*He is no longer with us, is he...?*

*No.*

That was all I could manage. A simple no.

*How did he die, if you don't mind me asking?*

I sigh. If I tell him how Silverburst died then he will know who I am, what form I've taken and I don't want him to know just yet.

*I would prefer to tell you in person, once you find me.*

Optimus was understanding and was silent though he could still feel my emotions and I his.

"Are you alright, my shooting Star", Ironhide asks. Joy fills my systems. I missed that nickname so much.

"I will be. I just told Optimus that Silverburst is with us no more...", I whisper. Ironhide hums softly before tightening the seatbelt around me for a minute.

We continue driving for a few minutes before Ironhide stops.

"This is where you get out. You'll still be close enough to see what's happening but you won't be able to participate", Ironhide says. I nod softly and the door opens, the seatbelt sliding back slowly. I frown and get out quietly. The door closes and I watch as he drives off.

"Be careful, 'Hide", I whisper softly. Soon, I lost track of what was happening. One minute, the bots had the upper hand but then the people who took Sam and Mikaela got the upper hand. I watched in horror as they started blasting Bumblebee with some stuff. I felt tears spill out of my eyes as I realize this is my fault. I wanted so badly to save Sam and Mikaela, even though technically they would be safe that I didn't tell Optimus- my father- that I had the glasses the entire time. I felt Optimus reaching through the bond.

*Starfire? Are you alright?*

I could feel his concern but I couldn't answer. I watch in horror as they take Sam and Mikaela away as well as Bumblebee. I scream and collapse to the ground. I start sobbing and hug my arms. I hear several vehicles come up to me and I look up as they transform.

"Kaetlen, are you alright?" Optimus concern for me was genuine, I could feel it slightly over our bond. I shook my head.

"It's my fault... It's my fault that they took Bumblebee..." I whispered it at first, so quietly that they could not hear.

"What'd ya say, lil' lady?" Jazz questioned me and I just lost it.

"IT'S MY FAULT!! It's my fault! It's all my fault..." I couldn't take in anymore, I pulled out the glasses case and opened it. "I had the glasses all along. I didn't tell you because I wanted to save Sam and Mikaela even though they were technically safe... And in doing so, I got one of your own captured. I'm so sorry!"

I stood up and ran off, leaving the glasses behind, not paying attention to where I was going. A few minutes later, I ran into a road without looking and heard the honking of a horn, causing me to stop and look in the direction of the noise. A car was coming straight for me. I froze, panicked. Just before I was going to be hit, a pair of strong arms pulled me backwards, the car missing me by a hair. I turned to see who it was and recognized Ironhide's holoform. He led me to his vehicle form but he didn't make me get in it. Instead, he sat down on the ground, pulling me next to him. I leaned into him and cried for a long time. I didn't pay much attention to time.

Soon, I started to calm down and the sound of three other vehicles appeared. I looked up, teary-eyed and sniffling as the three vehicles stopped where they were. Three people stepped out of their respective vehicles and I immediately knew it was the other Autobots.

"We do not blame you, Kaetlen", came Optimus voice from the tall black haired one. He looked very similar to me and I know I'm not the only that noticed it as the bots kept looking between me and Optimus. Well, Jazz and Ratchet. Ironhide already knew who I was.

"I know. I just feel awful... I should have told you. And there is something else I should tell you as well, though I'm not sure how to", I whisper the last part but I know everyone hears me. Ironhide tenses up from his spot next to me.

"Kaetlen, are you sure?" He was quiet but I know everyone heard him.

"I'm sure, 'Hide. Help me?" While the words that were next spoke were simple, they meant everything to Optimus.

"Sure, my shooting Star", Ironhide says as he stands up, helping me up once he was completely standing.

I looked over at Optimus and knew he had recognized 'Hide's nickname for me.

"It can't be...", Optimus whispers. I smile and turn to Ratchet's holoform. He had a doctor's coat on so I knew it was him.

"Remember that metal smell?" Ratchet nods in response to my question. "Do you remember what it smelled like?" He nods again.

"It smelled like Starfire, as well as a hint of Silverburst", he says. I smiled softly at the mention of my twin's name.

"Jazz, notice any similarities between Optimus' holoform and me?"

Jazz was quick to answer.

"Ya both got black hair. Same colored eyes. Almost the same colored clothes", he states. I smile as I turn back to Optimus.

"Starfire?" He was stunned. I smile softly.

"You found me", referring to our earlier conversation over the bond.

"That's what you meant when you said that you were closer than I realized. You were here all along", Optimus whispers as he draws me into a hug before glaring at Ironhide.

"How long have you known?" The question was directed at Ironhide.

"I have my suspicions ever since she mentioned the vision she saw when she first saw the Autobot symbol and my suspicions were confirmed when she passed out after meeting you. That was also when she first realized as well", Ironhide spoke truthfully.

I smile before stepping away from Optimus. We create a circle and I look at Optimus.

"Do you know where the Allspark is?"

Optimus nods and his holoform disappears, as well as everyone's except for Ironhide's. They leave, knowing that we could catch up eventually. Ironhide pauses when I don't move at first. I hum softly before looking over at the road we were close to. I saw a vehicle that I really liked. It was a Lamborghini Gallardo. I smile and my eyes scan it. I quickly transform from my human form to my vehicle form. Ironhide grins and I activate my holoform. I climb out of the car and run up to Ironhide's holoform and give him a hug.

"I figured it out!" I was super excited. He chuckles before hugging me back.

"Yes, you did", he whispers. I smile softly before deactivating my holoform and revving my engine. Ironhide's holoform disappears and his engine revs as well.

We quickly catch up to the others as it started to get light. I felt Optimus confusion.

*You alright Optimus?*

*Yes. I am just confused as to why there is another vehicle with us.*

I laugh slightly.

*What does this vehicle look like?*

*It is royal blue, with this purple sheen to it.*

I laugh again before explaining to him.

*That vehicle is me. I found out how to get back into my real form.*

I sent him amusement through the bond as he sent embarrassment. I laugh slightly but was surprised when I saw Bumblebee drive past. I caught a glimpse of Sam and Mikaela in it as well as a cube I knew to be the Allspark. We all turned around and followed Bumblebee but we were attacked by some Decepticons. Optimus transformed to deal with them and we continued on. We ended up in a city where we stopped on the streets. Sam and Mikaela had gotten out of Bumblebee and were talking to some other people I didn't know. I did notice, however, a jet that kept flying overhead. It looked very familiar though I couldn't place it. At least, I couldn't until Ironhide transformed and yelled,

"It's Starscream!"
