Frisk POV

They were beautiful and they smelled nice too. And their name, their wonderful name. Chara, I think I can fall in love with that. I smile to myself and look around to see them again. I do but their voice is a little hypnotic.

We come up to the electric maze and Chara puts the electric orb on his head and lets me through. I get through the maze without a hitch. Asriel congratulated and Chara thanks me for not getting him shocked, but after Asriel left he told me the shock ball was actually just as powerful as a joy buzzer. 

Then he talked about his family. His Dad as the royal scientist and his mother being the captain of the royal guard and Rei just being the best.

"Isn't my family just the coolest?" He says as a rhetorical question.

I continue forward and I see Chara again. They talk about the vendor about them selling ice cream, but then they complain about it being the wrong time for ice cream and then gives chocolate chip cookies to warm people up and then they give one to me. How sweet of them to do that.

The next thing was a test if willpower?  SO now all I have to do is walk towards him. Okay, whatever. I'll do it without flitching.

Asriel was so shocked that I didn't flinch and Chara called Rie cute and himself the cool one. Then Asriel as me the question.

"Newcomer, we need an unbiased opinion. Tell us which one of is cooler?" He says expecting an answer.

An option appears for Chara or Asriel. I really wanted to choose Chara but I decided to choose Asriel instead. The outcome of it wasn't one  I desired but I did get to see Chara feelings for a moment.

As I listen to Chara once more they seem distant very distant towards me. I walk away not wanting but also wanting to move forward. I look back and I see them glaring at me and shrugging and walking away. Why did they glare at me?

Well, I'll find out soon enough, hopefully anyway. I continue forward and find Asriel. Except he wasn't acting like himself or actually the God of Hyper death. I ask about Chara but he doesn't answer me. He says Chara isn't here. I shrug and complete the easy puzzle. I continue forward and I am given praise by Chara for making Asriel happy. I smile at the praise but at the same time, he did it only because Asriel was happy. Does Chara have feelings for Asriel? I doubt it but it's a possibility. I want to make that possibility disappear but then again that might ... not it will hurt Chara if I do that. I sigh in annoyance and see Chara all by themselves and I go up to them to ask them a question.

"Um, Chara what gender are you?" I hesitantly ask.

"Well you are sure are noisy but since you asked so nicely I might be inclined to answer you but alas right now I can't maybe later at Grillby's?" they say as they walk away with a small smirk.

I try to follow them and get a real answer but alas right when he left my sight he vanished. I continue forward and come to the puzzle maze where the machine I thought was supposed to work but it has been broken? I could have sworn that something or someone is in there.

Asriel sigh in frustration due to one the machine not working and two all of Chara's puns about sheep. He says that the next puzzle will make up for the next one. Chara goes on about Asriel as he can get easily riled up when things don't go according to plan. I nod and continue forward and see Chara down a path and I talk to them and nothing out of the ordinary in their dialogue.

I walk even further and see them again. I blink in confusion and talk to them again and they are back there as well. I shrug and continue forward. Asriel is across a bridge and Chara is right next to me.

"The Bridge of deadly traps," Asriel says to intimidate me.

I simply wait patiently for things to go wrong and they don't go wrong but there are no traps to be seen. Chara being their sibling breaks character for a moment and criticize the entire bridge calling it a farce. And from my point of view, it probably is.

I talk to Chara afterward and they seem ashamed and yet not. They thought they might have been too hard on them. 

"Hey, mirror monsters aren't like us. monsters are like snow, one bad touch and. Monsters are very delicate. ... You aren't the type of human that trample things carelessly. Take good care of him, partner." He says as if reliving a memory of sorts.

I walk past everything and head straight to the fight. I mean it's probably all the same with minor differences but really I want to see Chara again. I find a really foggy place and stop after hearing Asriel's voice.

We begin our fight and to be honest he isn't very strong at all. I mean he is certainly could pack a wallop with the right training but really he not strong at all and seems more delicate just as Chara said.

I decided to flirt with him. I'm not sure why just seem the appropriate thing to do and it seems that it was the right course of action. Now that I think about it I am going to have to go on a date with him, aren't I?

I sigh in frustration and go back to the house and proceed to go on a date with Asriel. We proceed and to be honest he new clothes seems familiar and he made me cookies as well. I was going through the date when Asriel pulls a piece of chocolate. It's from Chara I just know it. They smelled just like this as well. I take a bite of it as does Asriel and it's way too rich for me. Just how does Chara eat theses?

He gives me a class pendant and apparently it's very fragile. I put it in my inventory and the date is over after Asriel says that after they are free we could be together if you still wanted too and then he too gave me a little power. To be honest I have no desire for Asriel but Chara that is a whole different story.

When I think of them my cheeks burn up and my body feels like it's floating. I feel whole when I am near them. I hope they feel the same way as me but I doubt it for at least now anyway. I leave and continue forward to Waterfall. I see Chara and skipped everyone else and went straight to him.

"SO hey want to Go to Grillby's for a moment?" they ask nonchanlately.

I instantly nod my head happy with this outcome. I finally get to know their gender. To be honest I have no idea which one they are. I mean sometimes they seem like a guy but other times I swear they are a female. Well, I will finally get my answer. I follow them without question even thought this is the opposite way of Grillby but then suddenly we are at Grillby's?!

 We seat down but before I do I look for a whoopie cusion but no such lock in that department when isn't bad just weird. I sit down and we begin to Chat but before the conversation can get out of hand I stopped them and the special question.

"Chara you said that once we were at Grillby's you would tell me your gender,"I ask with a small smirk of my own.

"I guess I did, didn't I. Are you sure you really want to know? It might change your view about me." they say like he knows my feelings?

"Well before I tell you. I want you to guess my gender to see if you are right." He says slightly jokingly.

"Well, to be honest, I'm not quite sure but now that I think about it. You have to be a girl right?" I say thinking deeply about it.

Then suddenly she gets real close to me and looks right at me. I couldn't help but blush and I looked into her eyes and realize I was right she is a female an incredibly sexy one but a female nonetheless. Then she goes on about Boogie and how I should be careful about them. Then suddenly things get really serious.

"I know what you have done. I know everything you did in the past timeline. Even if you don't but if you ever go that route again. I will show you no mercy but alas I will wait until the appropriate time to see you out and this time you won't come back." they say with anger but also a deep sadness.

"Welp I guess I have to go back but remember my words and I actually might take you on a date later on." She says as she even closer. 

Almost close enough to kiss me but she doesn't kiss me and backs away and walks out of Grillby's. I try to follow her but she apparently took another shortcut away. I sigh and go to the inn and decide to spend a night there.

A/N Alright another chapter was done and thank all of you for your support. Truly it was a sight to behold but it was definitely worth you guys reading it!
