As Ashley went into the school hallways, she thought about what Tim had told her. Could she escape from the evil horrors she has experiencing for years, being abused from her parents?

Can she finally be free and be her own person?

"Ash!" Someone yelled, interrupting her train of thought, as she notices Hayden who was running towards the teenager.

"Oh, hey, Hayden. How is the rehab going on?" She asks curiously, as Scott told her that ever since the car accident, Hayden has to go to Physical rehab for his left foot. 

"I'm doing well, have you got the chance to talk to Rachel yet?" Hayden asks the former Cheerleader . 

Ashley rubs her head, "I haven't yet. I was just thinking about something. Tim went into my backyard last night." 

That revelation shook the young teen by total amazement and shock. He never thought that Timothy Thornton would go to someone's house, especially if it was Ashley Hofferson!

"He did? Why did he went to your house last night?" Hayden asks curiously, that he knew if Rachel finds out, it wouldn't be pretty.

"He.. He wanted to check up on me, I guess. He knew about how I was abused from my parents. He found out while I was doing my community service job in the animal shelter. "

"Wow. I never knew that! I guess that Tim is a really good friend, as you are. Your idea of a Spring Prom is quite exciting for everyone here in Berksville High.  

I um, don't know how to waltz. I don't have any dance lessons when I was a kid." Hayden admits while rubbing his head. 

Ashley's eyes widen, "Seriously? Man, Hayden, if you really want to impress your girlfriend, you have to know how to waltz." 

As Hayden was about to reply, someone taps on Ashley's shoulders as the teen jumps in surprise as it was revealed to be Tim. 

"Oh, Tim, you scared me! " Ashley exclaimed, as Hayden knew it was his cue to give them some privacy.

Tim said, shrugging, "Um, how is your arm? " Ashley rubs the bandage that Tim had gave her, "I am recovering from the bruises , Tim. 

I told you that I would be fine, you really don't have to look after me, considering that your sister hates me." She said, trying to hide her blush. 

"I think it's best if you have a practice dance with me, to get your mind off about your life back home. 

We can do it in my place you like." Tim invites her. 

"I never been invited to your house before, but I guess that's all right. " 

Tim and Ashley walk to the Thornton household where Tim knocks on the door and saw his parents.

"Hello, Timothy. Who is this lovely girl? Is she your girlfriend?" Mrs. Thorston asks.  

Tim said, "Mom! It's not like that at all! This is my good friend at school. This is Ashley Hofferson." 

Ashley said, "You can call me Ash too. I was the one who made that car accident on Hayden Haddock. 

I am so terribly sorry about making Rachel feel bad at school and made her worry about Hayden." 

"Wow, so you're the girl that Rachel keeps mumbling about when she's at home. Well, at least you apologized to us, you are welcome to our home anytime." Mr. Thorston reassures her. 

Tim lead her to his room and closes the door behind him. 

"How about we have that dance?" Tim asks. 

Ashley turns around, "How can we dance if there is no music? And do you know how to waltz?"

"Well, I don't, but I love to learn. You do dance lessons, Ash?"

"Well, I did learn how to waltz as a extra credit curriculum. Just look at my eyes, hold me to my waist."

Tim did as instructed, as he puts the music on from his iPod.

As they dance, Tim stared deeply into Ashley's eyes, as he smiles at her. It was something magical for the both of them. 

Ashley felt right at home with Tim, as her heart knew he was something special , like a part of her was missing. 

As the dance was over, Ashley was happy, then Tim was thinking about something, he wants to adopt her as a sibling, a Thorston, but he knew that he has to talk to his parents first.  

"Thanks for inviting me over, Tim. " She said, as she pulls herself from his embrace. 

"I know that you're working hard of getting the Prom together, is it too early of asking you to Prom?" Tim asks. 

Ashley couldn't stop herself from grinning. 

"Do you have to ask me? I would love to! " 

Rachel walks home from school , as she notices someone was in her backyard. 

It was Ashley Hofferson! She walks out of the house with Tim escorting her out. 

"I had a great time spending the day with you, Ash. I'm really glad you came over and teach me how to dance. You could be a great dance instructor, if you want to be.

Are you planning another fundraiser for the animal shelter? I would love to help anyway I can."

" Well, the owner told me that the students at Berksville high wanted to do a fundraiser at the beach for the money we need. Even Principal Valka is offering a lot of donation . It's going to be on Saturday night.

Hey, maybe I can text you the details! We can exchange numbers!"

Tim said, "Yeah, here, put your number in." They exchanged phone numbers as Ash said, "I have to head to the animal center. They wanted me to do extra over shift work for Saturday." 

"I'll see you then. I'll get Hayden and the others to join in too. Especially with Rachel. You have to talk with her, Ash. 

I just worried about your condition." Tim said seriously as it causes Rachel to be stunned with total surprise of her twin brother. He was never that serious about his friends that way, especially if it around her family.

When the teenager left the house, Rachel storms into Tim's room. 

"What you were thinking?!? Ashley Hofferson , the one who made my life horrible , you invited her to our house?!?"

Tim said, defending Ashley, "Sis, you really have no idea what Ashley has been through back at her house. 

She needs friends, and you have to let go of the hatred and jealousy of her. She's changed. Come with me to the beach on Saturday. 

It would mean a lot for Ashley and me. Just trust me, Rach." 

Rachel went to her room, as she thought in her mind, "Can I really forgive Ashley for what she has done?"
