Hayden couldn't believe it. He was finally done making his prosthetic leg and it was time for him to get out of the hospital.

The doctor was so generous of putting it on for him, as he took his first steps. 

"It does feel weird , considering I was being in a car accident for three months." Hayden said to himself, but he couldn't stop thinking about it. 

It really changed his life forever, considering it was way harder on Rachel. He couldn't imagine what was that like for her, not knowing that the love of her life wouldn't wake up. 

Hayden shivers at the thought, as he thought to himself, "Calm yourself, Hayden. It's not going to be any different. 

Besides, Rachel and you are a couple now, so there isn't going to be any changes between us." 

The first thing he has to do, is check on Toothless. As he opens the door, the black dog immediately saw his owner and pins him to the ground. 

"Toothless, I missed you too, bud." The boy exclaimed, petting the dog as he gets up from the ground and grabs his backpack. 

He wanted to surprise Rachel in school, since she was still in her class. 

As he walks into Berksville High, he notices that the students were beaming. Actually smiling, as if they knew him.

As he was confused, he bumps into a tall student. 

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to -Hayden?" He exclaims. 

"Uh, how you know my name?" The boy asks curiously. The boy said, "Oh, right, we haven't met yet. I'm Dag, Hathor's older brother, and a friend to Scott." 

"You know my cousin? " He said, stunned, as he asks Dag, "Why is everyone staring at me?"

"Dude, everyone was worried at Berksville High! Scott told me all about how you got into that car accident. " 

Remembering the accident rages Hayden, as he wanted to find Ashley for what she has done to him and his girlfriend. 

Dag sees the anger in his eyes, "I know that you want to get back at Ashley for what she has done, I don't blame ya. 

If I was in your shoes, I would literally jump to the chance of getting revenge on her, but what about Rachel?"

Hayden sighs, as he calms down, as hearing Rachel's name calmed him down a bit. 

The school bell rang as he notices Rachel heading towards her locker. 

"Go for it, man. Reunite with her, I wouldn't stop you. Besides, you and her are a thing now." Dag said, which causes Hayden to stop in his tracks. 

"How did you know that Rach and I are a couple? I didn't tell anyone, especially to Scott that I like her." 

That was when Scott and Freddy appears. 

"Actually, Cuz, there's something you should know." Scott said, which causes the teen to grow in total confusion.

Scott, Dag and Freddy sat in a bench in the gym. 

Scott was relieved that his cousin can get out of the hospital room, but he didn't suspect it would be so soon.

"Man, this is so going to be hard . How we going to explain to Hayden that the whole school knew the secret that Hayden and Rachel loved one other because Ashley embarrassed Rachel in front of the whole school?!?"  Scott thought in his mind.

 Freddy looks at Hayden's new prosthetic leg. "I have to say, Hayden, I'm really impressed. You actually made your leg in the hospital? The doctors were really supportive and surprising that they let you do that." 

Scott nods, respectfully, "Yeah, and I guess that really suits you, Hayden." 

The boy rubs his head, nervously as he was more curious than ever. 

"Seriously, guys, I'm at a loss here. How did all of you know that Rachel and I are an item now? I mean, I never told anyone about it." 

Freddy , Dag and Scott look completely nervous, wondering who would tell him the truth of Ashley embarrassed Rachel in front of the whole school. 

"Scott, you should be the one to tell him. He's your cousin after all. " Freddy whispers to him. 

Scott sighs, "I know. It's just, Hayden just got off the hospital. I don't want to be the one with bad news on his first day back at school." 

Freddy said, pointing out, " We can't hide the truth from him forever, even if we wanted to. We have to come clean with him, or else he'll be irate of keeping it as a secret from him." 

Scott knew that Freddy was right. He can't keep it as a secret , but it didn't stop Hayden from admitting his crush on Rachel . 

"Ok, Uh, Hayden." He said. The teen looks curiously as Scott took a deep breath. 

"It was when you were still in your three-month coma. Rachel actually confronted Ashley." Scott explains which cause the teen to be in total shock. 

"She did? What happened when Rachel confronted her?" Hayden said, totally curious about the confrontation.

"Well, Ashley really did something on her all right. She confessed you guys liked one other in front of the whole school." Scott said, remembering the confrontation.

Hayden said, "Ashley really did that, just to put Rachel in more misery? Ooh, when I get my hands on her..." 

Freddy said, "Hayden, chill out. Principal Valka already put Ashley out of the cheerleader status as captain of the Cheerleaders, and she is in Community Services as her classes for now on."

Dag said, "You wouldn't see that mean bully ever again. " 

As Hayden was lost in thought, grasping of what he has learn since he got out of the coma, he realizes that to surprise his girlfriend, he needed it to be a special one.

"Guys, I need a favor." He said, as the boys listened in.

Hathor was packing her books into her locker, felt conflicted that her older brother is in the same school as her now. 

"Hey, you all right?" She turns to see Rachel who was looking at her best friend in curious expression. 

"Sorry, I was just thinking about Dag, that's all." She admits, which causes Rachel to giggle. 

"Come on, Hathor, you have to be grateful that you have your brother to be in Berksville High. Tim may be a pain , but I love him because he's my brother." 

Hathor didn't reply to her as something happen. 

Lights blared everywhere as the students followed it as it was in the school gym , filling with decorations. 

The girls were mesmerized as the lights dimmers at Rachel. 

"What's going on?" Hathor asks. Rachel shrugs, as she notices a curtain that says, "For Rachel." 

Curious and nervous of the whole school watching, the cheerleader went through the curtain , but nothing was there.

"Huh, I went through it, but nothing is -" Rachel exclaimed, but someone covers her eyes, as the students were chuckling of who was behind her. 

"Ok, if this is a prank-" She said, but a smoothing, familiar voice said, "Well, that is a fine hello greeting for someone who just came out of the hospital, Rach." 

She was in total shock, as she pulls from the hands of her mysterious stranger, as it was Hayden, who was grinning with a smile. 

"Hayden!" She said, as she pulls her boyfriend forward in a hug as the throng cheers in excitement for the happy couple. 

The couple turns as they pulled away from one other in pure embarrassment considering that it is quite noticeable. 

Rachel looks at his new Prosthetic leg as she beams with pride, "I'm so happy that you're back, Hayden. 

You literally surprised me, you dummy. " 

"I'm the one who was surprised of you. You had guts of going standing up to Ashley . " 

The Cheerleader blushes as she twists her braid. "I guess. " 

"I love you, Rachel Thornton. Would you like to go on a official date with me?" Hayden asks, "Without anything dangerous or life-threating?"

Rachel shook her head at Hayden's question as pulls him into her lips, without Hayden gets a chance to react. 

"Does that answer your question?" She asks, as Hayden nods, but he really wants to do is confront Ashley himself, to get the answers that he has for her, for doing what she has done.
