*****/Marissa's POV

This is the first time I went to the mall like this and I wasn't expecting to meet someone I already know. I made a mistake of stuttering and almost saying my other name.

The reason I came here was because I was investigating who gave that piece of paper. From what Ella said, there were two people who's acts abnormally. So we're going to interview them and try to add in some magical things and check their reactions. Ella went to the guy that works in the bar, while I go to the girl that works in a restaurant, that's why I'm in Marelli. The restaurant is in this mall.

Who's Ella? She's one of my best friend. Charity and Brianna also knows Ella. We were very good friends but when we weren't classmates anymore Charity and Ella started to hang out with other friends but they still kept in touch with us.

"Marissa right?" Charity asked.

"Yea, can I ask something?" I said.

"Sure" She said.

"I'm looking for this restaurant. It's called Aromah" I said. I never ate at Aromah but I've seen it in this mall. I just don't really remember where it is.

"Oh I'm not sure where the restaurant is. Let me ask my brother" she said. I nodded.

"Ahia! Do you know where the restaurant Aromah is?" She asked.

"4th floor I think" Charity's brother said.

"If you want, I'll go with you. Are you alone?" She asked.

"I'm alone, but it's fine!" I said. I think it would be easier if she doesn't come, it would be fun if she came with me, but she doesn't know anything about Marissa.

"I'll just ask my parents! I pretty sure they'll be fine with it" She said.

"Char, it's really fine" I said.

"Char? How did you know my nickname?" She asked. Oh whoops. I'm not fully used to this yet.

"I just thought of it" I said.

"I don't mind if you call me that. Someone calls me that from time to time but she calls me Kai sometimes" She said. Yea, that girl who calls you Kai is me. I also made up your nickname and try to improve your freaking grammar, but I simply can't because you have too much grammatical errors.

"Are you sure you wanna go alone" she asked.

"Yea" I said.

"Ok then, if you really want to" She said.

"Bye." I said.

"Good bye!!" She said.

I left and took the escalator immediately. I grabbed my phone and dialed Ella's phone number. The phone rang three times until she answered.

"*****! Are you done?" Ella asked.

"No! I accidentally bumped into Charity! If I wasn't in my other world form I would have a lot of things to explain!" I said.

"What was Charity doing there?" Ella asked.

"She was with her family, but Alexa was there with her family and two other guys. I think one of the guys was Korb. I recently heard that Korb and Charity have been meeting up recently with three other guys." I said.

"Isn't one of those guys her brother?" Ella said.

"What about the two other guys?" I asked.

"I don't know. Wanna search what's happening in Charity's life?" Ella asked.

"Sure. I want to do this for fun, but I think there something up with her family. I think I saw her brother with green eyes." I said.

"Okay, I'll look into them. I finished talking to the guy in the bar already and he doesn't know anything about the magical world." Ella said.

"Did you find out why I'm able to see people with different looks?" I asked.

"No, but when did this start again?" She asked.

"I think I started to see these things after a month the paper was given. The first time i saw it was when Charity had brown eyes and brown hair." I said.

"It's pretty weird. You saw me with brown hair and I was wearing my white and gold bow and that's part of my look in the magical world" She said.

"Is it possible that Charity is a LiSparkle? And her brother had brown hair and green eyes too, can it be that he is a Skist?" I asked.

"I don't think so. You've been seeing this with other people right?" Ella asked.

"Yea. Half of my classmates have different looks" I said.

"I don't think half of your class are LiSparkles. That's too much of a coincidence and I don't think there are that many LiSparkles and Skists" Ella said.

"I guess" I said.

"Call me back when you're done checking with the girl, then I'll tell you what I find out about Charity" Ella said.

"Okay. I see Aromah already. Bye Ella" I said.

"Bye *****" She said.

The call ended and I kept it in my pocket. Ever since I saw Charity with a different look, I saw everyone else with a different look too. I also saw Charity's mother with purple-blue hair and dark green eyes, her father had brown-white hair and he had dark blue eyes. I decided to forget about it and focus on why I came to the mall in the first place.

I took a deep breath and went in the restaurant.

"Hey miss. Welcome to Aromah! For how many customers?" One of the waitress asked.

"I'm only one, but I'm looking for someone here. Her name is Silica Pañero" I said.

"Oh okay! You can sit here and start ordering while I call her" The waitress said.

"T-thank you" I said. I'm still shy when talking to people, even if I'm Marissa or *****.

"Um excuse me? I'm Silica. You called me" she said.

"Oh hi!" I said. She had red hair and she was wearing a buret on her head, her eyes were red and her pupils looked unique and it was different colors and she also had wings.

But I know it isn't how she really looks like. It would really help if I knew why I could see people in a different way. I'm not sure yet if I would call myself unique yet. I found out Ella can't switch to her magical form in this world and she can't switch to her non-magical form in the other world, unlike me I'm able to switch to any form anytime, it doesn't decrease my strength at all it's just like snapping my fingers. Not only that, but I'm able to speak any language and understand the language of any mystical creature such as unicorns, hippocampus, pegasus and etcetera.

"Silica, I'm Marissa Tane. I want to talk to you about something" I said. I asked some simple things to her first to get comfortable with me then I started asking her the question I really needed like 'if there was a magical world, what would you expect'. I focused her answers if any of them were related to the magical world. There were some that connected with the magical world and some that didn't. She also seemed a little nervous about the conversation, I thought it was because I came here suddenly and started to ask some things when she didn't know me at all. I decided to stop asking her questions later and told her she could ask questions to me so I wouldn't really scare her much.

I later left the restaurant and I called a taxi and went home. Once I arrived home, I got out of the car and I immediately hid in the plants near my house since I knew about the security camera near the garage gate. I looked around and I saw no one watching and I changed form. I rang the doorbell and my maid opened the gate, I went in my house and put my body bag on the chair and went to the kitchen to get a snack.

"*****!!" My mom said.

"Hi mom" I said.

"Where were you? You just left the house without telling me!" She said.

"And if I told you that I was going out on my own, you wouldn't let me anyways! I can handle myself!" I said.

"You're just 13!" She said.

"And I can do Karate, I can avoid danger, I can explore alone, I can go anywhere on my own! Do you even know how many times I left you in the mall but came back anyways? You keep saying I can't do that!!" I said.

"You know the world is very dangerous! Especially if your father is a billionaire!" She says.

"That's why I'm having self defense classes" I said.

"You're just a white belt!" My mom said.

"No I'm not!! I'm brown belt!! You just never care to watch me!" I shout.

"Hey, both of you. It's alright." My father said trying to break up the fight.

"Tell your daughter to behave! She never follows the directions I tell her to do!" My mom said.

"And ***** is right. She is grown up and I think she can do a few things on her own" My father said.

"Excuse me?! You know that every single word you're saying right now can kill our daughter!" My mom said.

"***** go up stairs. I'll talk with your mother" My dad said. I nodded and got my body bag before going up. I went to my room and locked the door so no one can go in suddenly.

I got my phone and called Ella.

"Hey Ella" I said dully.

"Hey *****! Why do you sound so sad?" She asked.

"Mom. Fight. Again" I said.

"Oh....Anyways.....is Silica in our group? Or maybe a normal person? Or still in the suspect list?" Ella asked.

"She's still in the suspect list. Did you get any information with Charity?" I asked.

"I hacked the security cameras in school and I got this weird footage. It looks like Charity wasn't hanging out with Alexa and the other girl for a while" Ella said.

"The other girl's name is Sophia, and I always see Charity hanging out with Alexa and Sophia" I said.

"Well....I don't know, Charity was going around asking people that I never saw her talk to, and she was snooping around our classrooms. I don't know how to explain what she was doing later, since I don't get it so I think it's easier for you to watch it" She said

"Okay, I kinda understand it, but it feels like it's missing something" I said.

"I'll just send the video. Call me back later" Ella said.

"Okay, and can you also look into Alexa's information? I've been wondering why Alexa was with Charity in the mall awhile ago" I said.

"Okay sure" She said. I ended the call and waited for her to send the video. Once the video was sent I watched it immediately.

Charity was in the hallways during break time which is AGAINST the school rules. She wasn't near her own classroom, but even if she was going to her classroom it would be locked anyways. I saw her go to MY classroom and she somehow opened the lock. She went in and I noticed she was looking at everyone's bag. The only thing she was holding was this small piece of paper and she was looking in everyone's notebook. She even looked in my notebook! Why did she look in my notebook? I have no idea! She later locked the door and left the classroom once she was done going through all the notebooks.

Once she left the classroom she was spotted by one of our teachers but she just spoke a few words to the teacher and Charity ran immediately out of the teacher's sight. The teacher just started walking normally a few seconds later like nothing happened. The security footage ended and confusion started building up in my head.

"What?'' I muttered to myself. I dialed Ella's phone number again.

"*****. With just this video footage. I have a feeling Charity is just like us. I already searched up Alexa and I don't see anything unusual about her" Ella said.

"But if Charity was like us, how can Charity keep it a secret? From what I know, she's terrible at keeping secrets. The only time she keeps them is when she forgets about them! Not only that, but Charity is also a failure, and she barely has any talents! What can she do in the other world?" I asked.

"I have a feeling Charity has a very dark secret she never told anyone about not until the paper was given. The paper was given a month ago and she's been acting strangely than usual, she's also been hanging out with people she never hung out with before" Ella said.

"I don't think we're the only ones who's finding for other LiSparkles and Skists" I said.

"I agree" She said.

"Ella" I said.

"Yea?" She asked.

"Add Charity to our Suspect List"
