Chapter 11
The next day, Akina was walking to school with Mina right beside her, noticing something different as the two got closer to the school. There was a hoard of reporters at the front gate who were shoving microphones in the face of every U.A student that tried to get through.
"Oh wow! Are those reporters? Are we famous already?" Mina asked, her eyes shining as she looked towards the group.
"I don't think that's it, Mi." Akina said, "But we'll probably find out the reason they're here as we get closer."
And they did. Once they got within sight of some reporters, some flocked right over to the two. It reminded Akina of the times when Sorcers weekly would beg her for an interview— being one of the top ten Cute but Deadly wizards in the magazine for as many years as she had been in FairyTail— and old enough to be considered an eligible Batchelorette.
"Tell me, is All Might really teaching at your school? What is he like as a teacher? Can you tell us what it's like to work so close to All Might?"
It was obvious Mina was slightly overwhelmed by the amount of people surrounding them as well as the barrage of questions being sent her way, Akina on the other hand was able to stay calm.
"I'm sorry, but you're asking some personal questions that my friend and I don't want to answer. And if you keep bothering my fellow students, you will regret it for sure. Now, please let us through so we can attend classes and be on time." Giving them a sweet smile, Akina watched as the reporters backed away, clearly unsure if she would really pull through on her threat, that and the gleam in her eyes made them feel like they were staring a dragon in the eye.
As the two walked through the now separated crowd, Mina was looking at Akina with wide eyes. "Wow Akina! You really kept your cool back there! And the way you scared those reporters, how'd you do it?" She asked, her enthusiasm returning to normal.
"Ah, well I'm kinda used to reporters. Though where I'm from they're not that rude— most of the time. And I learned that glare from a family member. She's normally in charge of a lot of things, so having a glare like that normally takes care of anyone out of order." Akina's voice held a longing to it that Mina was able to pick up on.
"You miss your family?" Mina asked, a look of concern on her normally smiling face.
"What kind of question is that? Of course I do. But... I know I'll see them again someday." She jumped in front of Mina and turned around, walking backwards as she grinned at the pinkette. "I'm sure of it! No matter what, I will see them again!"

Class started like normal after some chatter about the reporters died down, and everyone had pulled their attention up to Aizawa.
"Excellent work on combat training yesterday, you guys. I saw the video feeds and went over each of your teams results. Bakugo, you're talented, so don't sulk like a child about your loss, okay?"
"Yeah, whatever." Bakugo muttered.
"And Midoriya, I see the only way you won the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder. And don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your quirk. That lines already getting old you can't keep breaking your body while training here. But your quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. So show a little urgency, huh."
"Right!"
God, if Only Natsu heard that. I have a feeling that he would need some advice like that remembering the type of training he does honestly I'm surprised he actually hasn't broken his body. I might train hard, but it's nowhere near compared to his kind of training. Akina thought, remembering the time she had chosen to train with Natsu for a week before the Grand Magic Games.
"Come on, Akina! This is the easy stuff!" Natsu exclaimed, looking down at the exhausted mage.
"You just did... five thousand push ups, a thousand sit ups, a hundred consecutive Wing Attacks along with... a hundred consecutive Dragon Claw attacks. I get that there's a fire here to keep your power up, but how in Mavis' name are you not tired?" Akina panted. "And did you just say this was the easy stuff?"
"Aye!" Happy exclaimed, walking up to stand in front of Akina, leaving a Choco who was doing some traning of her own.
"We've got to get ready for the Games, Aki! We're not going to beat Sabertooth and become number one again by slacking off all day! We need to get stronger!l
Feeling a shiver go down her spine, Akina forced her attention back to Aizawa, trying to clear the painful memory from her head.
"Today, our first task will decide your future." Aizawa said, and suddenly the air in the room grew tense, until he continued. "You all need to pick a class representative." And just like the tense air vanished like a sigh of relief went though the whole class.
"Pick me guys! I want to be class rep!" Kirirshima shouted.
"I'll take it." Kaminari offered.
"Yeah, you're gonna need me." Jiro pointed out.
A few more students offered to take the position until Iida silenced everyone.
"Everyone! Please! The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do.You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom, therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader."
"It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you, Iida." Akina said out loud, seeming to say what everyone in the classroom was thinking.
After some debate, the class eventually settled on voting. It didn't take long before the results were in, almost everyone having one point except Midoriya and Yaoyozu, who had three and two votes respectively.
"How did I get three votes?" Midoriya shouted in shock.
"Okay you idiots! Who voted for him?" Bakugo shouted.
"Did you really think anyone was going to vote for you?" Sero asked, earning some angry shouts from the blond hedgehog.
The top two went up to the front of the classroom, and Akina pitied Midoriya, the poor boy looked terrified in front of the room.
"All right, your class representatives will be Midoriya and Yaoyozu."
"Really? Uh, you mean this wasn't a mistake?" Midoriya asked through clattering teeth.
"Hm. Midoriya seems to have some potential in leading. If only he would loose the nervousness." Akina muttered, her mind drifting off.
"Hey, Aki! You know what. I think we'll soon be free of this stupid place! Once we get the general nervousness of the kids down to a minimum, we can finally start our plan, father won't suspect a thing!" A brown haired boy exclaimed with a smile, his forest green eyes and freckled face identical to Akina's own facial features.
"Yeah. It'll be a piece of cake!" The younger Akina agreed.
Closing her eyes tightly, Akina took a deep breath and cleared her head of the memory, focusing on the chatter going around the room.

Later during lunch, Akina was sitting with Bakugo, Mina, Sero, and Kirishima. She had joined the group on her second day, mostly being dragged there by Mina and Kirishima, and staying because she found the group reminiscent of how a normal group of friends in FairyTail would act.
It wasn't long until their peaceful lunch was interrupted by a sudden alarm.
Flinching and covering her ears, Akina looked around, trying to find the source of the sound that was making her ears ring and head hurt. If she had normal hearing this wouldn't of been bad, but due to her having enhanced hearing, the alarm rang through her head and caused brief confusion.
"Warning. Level 3 security breach. All student's please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion." A voice said over the intercom, which Akina was barely over to hear over the ringing, and students started to get up from their tables and leaving their food behind.
"What's happening?" Sero asked, looking around at the panicking students.
"A security breach, dumbass!" Bakugo said angrily, getting up calmly from his seat and heading towards the door, leaving the four sitting at the table.
"Well, guess we should listen to what the voice said! If this is a potential danger, we don't want to get our asses handed to us!" Akina stated, standing up quickly and watching the others follow suit.
The hallway was like trying to get through a wall that fought back, and pushed through the crowd, people were getting pushed to the ground and trampled. As she pushed through the crowd herself, her focus was making sure that people weren't getting trampled. The only distraction being Iida spinning above the crowd, stopping once he hit the wall and standing on an exit sign above a doorway.
"Listen up! Everything is okay!" He yelled, getting the attention of the panicking students. "It's just the media outside! There's absolutely nothing to worry about! Everything's fine, we're U.A students, we need to remain calm and prove that we're the best of the best!"
Like a weight being lifted from the air, the panic that was previously everywhere vanished. It was almost like the security breach had never happened. Though something was still bugging Akina. Why would there be a level 3 security breach unless someone had gotten through the gate somehow, the defense gate went up as soon as a reporter tried to get in, and Aizawa and Mic were handling the situation already. And even with all that, all of them were still ordinary members of the press.
Could it be that something else happened? That someone more dangerous managed to get through the gate? She thought, her ears still ringing from the alarm. That might put everyone here at risk.
