FLASHBACK

Light heard a scream. He didn't know who's it was at first, but he realized it was May! He saw her being dragged underwater by a Tentacruel. "No!" He didn't know what to do. He didn't want to show his powers, but he had to save his friend. His eyes glowed a bright gold and red, and he ran on the water towards where May was pulled underwater. He dove in, and the Tentacruel and May were already over 50 ft. below sea level. He dove down as fast as he could, and he kicked the Tentacruel's tentacle hard. It let go, and Light grabbed May and swam to the surface. She hadn't swallowed any water, so no CPR was needed hopefully. We all rushed to a hospital as fast as we could go.

LIGHT POV

I hate this. Every minute. I've always hated losing a friend or family member. I was always worried it would happen again, ever since my parents were killed. And now it was happening again. The doctor said she received multiple bruises, 4 broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a few lacerations. She only had a 35% chance of living. I did have the powers of regenerating, but the doctors won't allow visitors yet. Heh...if they only knew my blood could cure the worlds diseases. The others besides Ash were asking me multiple questions. What other powers do you have? Are you good or evil? What inspired my name? What's my past? I told all but the last one. I think my past is too....traumatizing for kids Bonnie's age. "Hmm...I have speed, I can heal, I can resurrect myself, I control light, hence the name, and I'm a good guy." Bonnie glares at me. "What about your past?!" "Heheh...kid? You don't wanna know my past....too traumatizing." I was clearly getting tired each day. I didn't wanna leave May. My eyes turned a little dimmer every day. I got a little weaker, a little slower in reaction speed, but I was determined to stay in the waiting room. Besides, a hero never quits a thing like this. Not when a friend is injured. Finally, they let me visit after five days. I walk in the room, and I see May, asleep. I move a chair next to the bed, and I sit down. I concentrate all the energy I have left into my healing ability, and I use it on her. Her lacerations and broken bones heal a little quicker. After the energy usage, I'm super tired and I fall asleep.
