BoBoiBoy visits Rei on Friday like usual.

The two went through their usual routine, their lesson first then the catching up, and the brunet was very excited to tell her all about his first week at UA.

「 I have a friend named Momo, and she's been helping me catch up with the rest of the class. 」 BoBoiBoy suddenly says whilst taking his test.

「 Momo? 」 Rei repeated, curiously watching her student.

「 Yaoyorozu Momo! She's the smartest in the class! Very nice and patient too! 」 He continued to compliment his friend with a smile.

Rei was glad that BoBoiBoy was making friends. She vaguely remembers the girl he mentioned. The Yaoyorozu family was one of the few families her husband associated with. She barely remembers the little noirette girl back when she was a little kid but hearing how she's been fairing is quite nice to know.

「 She hasn't taken up my job as your tutor, has she? 」 Rei jokes, raising her brow at him, a distinct smirk one her face.

BoBoiBoy giggles, shaking his head as he looks up at his tutor. 「 Nope. I like you and you've been an awesome teacher! 」

「 Plus, she's still a student too. I don't wanna bother her too much. 」

「 I don't think she would feel that way. She is your friend, is she not? 」 Rei responded, reassuring the brunet that his friend wouldn't mind helping him.

That seemed to brighten the brunet up. Rei seemed to always know how to cheer him up, and maybe it's the mother in her, but she can't help but want to reach out to him-to be there for him.

Be there for someone unlike what happened back then . . .

Looking at BoBoiBoy, Rei felt like maybe she could tell him her worries. Ease her the weight that's been suffocating her.

BoBoiBoy finished the worksheet Rei had given him and got a great score of 17 out of 20. Three mistakes. He was finally getting the hang of it. His Japanese has gotten better (he still wished to keep his earpiece translator though).

And as soon as their lesson was over, the brunet delved straight into his first week at UA. He talked about his classmates, teachers, classes; everything from the locations and food. UA was an amazing place for not just those who want to become heroes but also engineers, businessmen and women, and so much more.

The brunet told her how he's been commuting to and from school now, and even told the woman about how Hizashi was jealous that he gave all his friends nicknames but not him. So now BoBoiBoy calls him 'Zashi' per his request. The silly tale made both BoBoiBoy and Rei giggle.

But when the topic shifted to his most recent new friend 'Roki', Rei tensed.

「 Roki-kun isn't much of a talker, but I don't mind talking for the both of us! 」 BoBoiBoy continued to recount his days with the heterochromic teen, oblivious to the situation.

「 Recently, he's always staying behind with me and Momo. Saying 'he doesn't wanna go home any time soon' and that kind of concerns me sometimes. 」

「 I'm worried about him. 」 BoBoiBoy said wistfully, recalling the way the heterochromic teen once kept massaging his arm.

This seemed to be what makes Rei take the step, the step to open up. Grasping the brunet's hand, her cold touch comforted BoBoiBoy a bit, but the serious look on her face worried him too.

「 BoBoiBoy, do you know why I am here? 」 Rei said, surprising the teen who immediately shook his head. 「 You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, Rei! 」 BoBoiBoy responded but Rei just smiled.

「 I want to tell you, BoBoiBoy. You don't know how much you've helped me these days with your visits. 」 Rei insists, the brunet nodding slowly.

His hesitance and concern made the white-haired woman's heart melt. The teen truly cares for her and it made her happy. But this is something she wants him to know. Her only concern is how the brunet will react. Will he think of her as a horrible person too?

But she still told him. How she was admitted to the hospital after pouring boiling hot water at her youngest son; how she endured years and years of abuse and watching her children get neglected; how she tried so desperately to protect her youngest from the abuse but failed. She failed at being a good mother, and she regrets it every single day. Not a day passes and she doesn't think about her children.

With her head in her hands, Rei cried. She had let it all out, and it left so good and so bad at the same time. But what made her heart race even more was the lack of a response from BoBoiBoy. Did he feel disgusted with her too?

However, when he felt two smaller arms wrap around her, she lifted her head up from her hands and saw the brunet's teary face. He embraced her tightly, rubbing her back as he reassured her like she always had for him.

「 You are no longer with that horrible man, Rei. I swear I'll beat this sorry excuse of a husband for you and take back your children. I'll protect you and I'll protect them. 」

His words made her tear up. Such a strong and kind heart. She is so glad to have met BoBoiBoy, to be given a reason to continue on in hopes to reunite with his family, and one day . . . say sorry to her youngest son.

The two stayed together for as long as possible, picking a lighter topic to talk about as the sun started to set.

「 If I ever get discharged, could I live with you for a while, BoBoiBoy? 」 Rei inquired, the brunet pouting a bit.

「 Not if but when! And of course you can! You're already a part of my family Rei! 」 BoBoiBoy responded, his reply shocking the white-haired woman who felt like crying all over again.

「 Thank you, BoBoiBoy. 」

Looking at his watch, BoBoiBoy frowned slightly as visiting hours were ending soon. Sighing, BoBoiBoy bid his goodbyes to Rei in a form of an embrace which the woman happily returns.

「 See you next week! 」

「 See you next week. 」

As he was about to leave, a nurse opened the door, not all to surprise to see the brunet was here. BoBoiBoy bowed to the nurse, making way for her to enter before exiting the room. He was about to walk off when his ears picked up something.

「 Are you ready for your checkup, Todoroki-san? 」

BoBoiBoy stood outside the room for a moment, his mind racing. 【 Todo... roki... 】 He repeated in his head.

It all makes sense now but . . . what does he do now?

Four weeks have passed since the attack, and class 1-A is about to train once again, back to the USJ. This place brought some horrible memories back up but it was time to move on from that. Izuku was in his gym uniform with his hero costume still in repair.

Now, he stood with his classmates as Thirteen exclaimed, 「 Well, that happened, but class is class. So let's begin training. 」 Her tone scarily nonchalantly as the whole class looked at her with worry.

「 Thirteen-sensei, can you really move? 」 Uraraka inquired, the Space Hero reassuring everyone she's okay, 「 My back hurts a bit but it's nothing compared to Aizawa-senpai. 」

Everyone turned to the still bandaged Aizawa, the raven-haired man telling them blankly, 「 We're ready to begin class. Let's start already. We're wasting time. 」

Not seeing his mentor around, Izuku calls out to Aizawa, the raven-haired man stopping to listen to the greenet's inquiry, 「 Wasn't All Might supposed to meet us along with you and Thirteen-sensei? Where is he? 」

Aizawa looked like he wanted to roll his eyes, but he simply continued walking off. 「 Who knows. Forget about him. 」

Izuku couldn't help but notice the irritation in his homeroom teacher's eyes. 「 Did something happen between those two? 」 He thought, looking over at BoBoiBoy to see if he knew why Aizawa seemed to be in a bad mood since the man was the teen's caretaker.

The said brunet was staring worriedly at the raven-haired man, quickly noticing the greenet's gaze and understanding what Izuku was asking. BoBoiBoy shrugged before looking back at their teacher. If BoBoiBoy didn't know then he could only hope that it wasn't too bad.

His visit with Rei still hangs at the back of his mind, and he was starting to notice all the little details with Todoroki. From his persistence to avoid the topic of family to his insistence to avoid going home early. Signs were suddenly becoming clear to him.

Then the irritated aura Aizawa was emitting concerned the brunet greatly. He would ask Hizashi but he knew the raven-haired man would take his phone away as soon as he saw the brunet on it.

As they make their way to the designated area, BoBoiBoy hears a familiar voice call out to him. As soon as he sees the sight of pink and pink, he immediately recognized

「 Tsu-chan just told me about how you saved her, Izuku-kun and Mineta-kun from the creepy hands-wearing dude with the disintegration Quirk and the weird Nomu guy. 」 The pinkette said, looking at BoBoiBoy, interested.

The brunet nodded shyly, unconsciously rubbing his left arm. Ashido notices this action and notices a spot on his arm a little lighter.

Curious, Ashido inquired about it, 「 I've noticed there's a spot that's a bit lighter here, is it a scar? 」 She points as BoBoiBoy follows.

「 Yeah, it's a scar. That creepy hands wearing dude did this to me. 」 He answers, his face falling a bit but he keeps a smile on.

It was a horrible experience for him, but he was moving forward from it. Aizawa and Hizashi told him about getting some therapy for it but the brunet was still a little scared. The offer was still up though.

「 Hmph! If I ever see that creepy dude, I'll douse him in my acid and show him how it feels to get disintegrated! 」 Ashido remarked, bringing the brunet away from his thoughts.

BoBoiBoy watched the pinkette cross her arms and grumbled curses. It made him smile, chuckling softly, which made the pinkette smirk.

「 Thank you, Ashido-san. 」 BoBoiBoy thanked the pinkette, who simply just waved her hand at him.

「 It's no biggie! The creepy dude deserves it for hurting my friends. 」 Ashido said, nudging him lightly. 「 And just call me Mina! 」

BoBoiBoy's smile widened, 「 Okay! Thanks, Mina! 」

「 Let's start with the rescue training! 」 Thirteen exclaimed as she explained the first exercise.

「 There'll be three students at the bottom of the chasm. One of them will be unconscious, the other will have an injured leg, and the last will be very worried. 」

Kirishima and Kaminari peer over the edge of the cliff, both yelling out in shock. 「 That is deep! 」 Kirishima exclaimed with Kaminari shouting out, exasperated, 「 How are we supposed to get there?! 」

Tenya comes rushing in, reprimanding the two teens. 「 Kirishima-kun, Kaminari-kun, what are you both saying?! They're people down there! 」

The tall teen goes on his hands and knees, yelling into the empty void of darkness. 「 Are you alright? Do not worry, we will save you for sure! 」

Kirishima and Kaminari sweatdropped at Tenya, remarking how he's too fast and how the exercises haven't even started yet. BoBoiBoy watched the scene, trying to hold back his laughter.

Turning towards Izuku and Ochako, the brunet watches them talk excitedly about the exercise. He notices the greenet suddenly has a serious look on his face. After learning of the responsibility Izuku held on his shoulders, the greenet is trying to make his Quirk his own.

Maybe he could help Izuku in some way?

「 Well, the injured will be... 」 Thirteen started, gaining everyone's attention, as he pointed at Izuku, Ochako, and Tenya. 「 The selected on random principle are the three of you! 」

BoBoiBoy glanced at the trio whose faces expressed their shock. He watches them make their way down. Aizawa then turns to the rest of the class, pointing at Bakugou, BoBoiBoy, Todoroki, Momo, and Tokoyami. 「 Alright, the five of you are the rescue team. 」

Then gesturing to equipment they've been provided, Aizawa said. 「 You may use these objects. 」

「 Wait a moment! Why do I have to save Deku?! 」 The spiky blond yelled, his question left unanswered as the rest focused on the exercise ahead.

From the darkness, Tenya's panicked voice could be heard in the distance. 「 Is someone there? Help us! Please! 」 The teen was really getting into it.

Looking at his power watch, BoBoiBoy decided to go with the element that was best at keeping cool and calming others down. The others stare at the brunet in awe as he gets engulfed in light before it dissipates and his appearance has changed.

With his color now turned an aqua blue, his armbands gobe and his cap turned forward, BoBoiBoy's attire changed into a long-sleeved zipped up vest, black pants and grey boots.

Air stares back at everyone, his aura completely changed to a more relaxed one. 「 Hey. 」 The brunet greeted them before looking over the cliff's edge.

Todoroki was the first to take initiative,「 Let's begin. Who's going down? 」

「 I can. 」 Air and Tokoyami said simultaneously.

Bakugou begins to become more and more irritated the more he gets sidelined. 「 These bastards are ignoring me. 」 The blond muttered, holding his hand up as if readying himself to explode on them. 「 I will have to teach them... 」

「 Just blow up the mountain and that's it! 」 The blond yelled, his suggestion earning disagreement from his team.

「 Are you crazy?! 」 Momo exclaimed with Air looking at him blankly as he stated, 「 You'll just crush them like that. 」

Murmurs from their classmates reached their ears as they all agreed that Bakugou's plan was a no go, commenting on his attitude in solving problems and some were concerned for Izuku and the others.

Todoroki didn't mind the others' chatter, focusing on the exercise as he asked Momo to use her Quirk. 「 Yaoyorozu, create a pulley. We'll make a way to pull them up. 」

The noirette nodded whilst Air made his way over to ask for something as well. 「 Can you make a first aid kit too? 」 The water element asked to which Momo responded with a smile and a nod.

「 Let's start with the ones that are unconscious. 」 Todoroki continued to instruct with everyone listening and following the heterochromic teen's instructions. 「 BoBoiBoy and Tokoyami will go down. Bakugou, Yaoyorozu and I will pull. 」

Almost everyone.

「 Bastard! Stop deciding on your own! 」 The blond finally had enough of Todoroki, clutching the heterochromic teen's shirt as he growled at him.

「 Wait Bakugou-san... 」 Momo calls out to the blond as Tokoyami shakes his head in disapproval, and Air was ready to interfere if necessary.

「 It's the best way. 」 Todoroki simply says as Bakugou stares at him confused, the heterochromic teen looks him in the eye for a moment before turning away as if he wasn't worth his time.

「 If you think of it as a game, you don't have to participate. 」 Todoroki said, smacking the blond's hand away, before walking towards the pile of equipment. 「 I'm not going to waste my time playing with kids. 」

Bakugou balled his fist, jaw clenching as he glared at the heterochromic teen. 「 W-Who's the one playing?! 」 The blond yells before lunging at Todoroki.

He was immediately stopped by a blast of water, gasps could be heard as the blond turned to the perpetrator to find the brunet standing in between him and Todoroki.

「 Stop it. 」 Air said firmly, glancing at Todoroki before turning back to Bakugou, the water element's usually relaxed expression now turned sour.

「 We are heroes here. In any kind of scenario, fighting with our teammates will only worsen the situation so let's calm down everyone. 」 Air reprimanded the blond, and even if the heterochromic teen didn't realize, the brunet was also scolding him.

「 Focus. People will panic if the heroes are acting like this. If the heroes fall apart, the rescue falls apart. 」 Air said, earning a nod from the noirette.

「 BoBoiBoy is right. 」 Momo agreed. 「 We can be acting pathetic! Besides, there is something we must do before anything else! 」 She exclaimed, turning towards the cliff edge.

Calling out to the darkness, Momo exclaimed loudly. 「 Please keep calm! We'll get to you right away! 」 She could barely see them in the dark, but they were there.

「 Please, hurry! Uraraka-kun is dying. Uraraka-kun is dying! 」 Tenya's voice could be heard the loudest as he looked over his 'unconscious' friend. Izuku smiled awkwardly, 「 You're finally here! We're saved! 」

Hearing the 'victims' respond, Momo then turns to her team. 「 The first thing is to reassure the victims. There are occasions where you can't save people who are desperate and panicking. Reassuring them is related to saving them. 」

「 If you're not going to do it properly, what kind of training class is this? 」 Momo stated, her way of words impressing both her team and her classmates.

「 Impressive. She's very good. 」 Kirishima commented, before quickly noticing whede Mineta's pervy gaze was at.

「 Yeah... yes, impressive! 」 The purple-haired boy didn't know what was coming.

Immediately, his body is engulfed in water, preventing him from moving. 「 What the hell?! 」 Mineta cried out but stopped when saw the brunet's face.

「 What do you think you're doing Mi-ne-ta? 」 Air asked, glaring daggers at the boy who yelped in fear.

His glare sent shivers down the purple-haired boy's spine, and swore he saw the brunet's eyes glow an aqua blue before turning back to its normal hue. Is it just me or did it get a bit colder for a moment?

Their classmates watched in horror and pride as the brunet looked like he was about to drown the boy. 「 Oh damn, Min-Min messed up. BoBoiBoy's not even referring to him by that cute nickname. 」 Kaminari remarked, with some of the others commenting how they wouldn't want to be in his position.

「 Do you want to suffocate till your lungs burn? 」 Air threatened, as he inched the water closer up the purple-haired boy's mouth and nose.

But he was saved by the exercise with Tokoyami calling for him. 「 BoBoiBoy-san, we should descend down now. 」

Air drops Mineta, not so gracefully, down as he makes his way over to his team. No one messes with Momo, she was slowly becoming the brunet's older sister and he didn't like anyone disrespecting her.

As soon as Tokoyami was strapped in with his harness, Momo turned to Air to help put his on when,「 BoBoiBoy, let me-- 」 The noirette cut herself off when she noticed the brunet's disappearance, the others were confused too.

Looking over the cliff's edge, they then see the said brunet gliding down with the use of his water manipulation. The brunet even took the first aid kit Momo made for him without her notice.

「 Moshi Mosh. 」 Air greeted, the trio amazed at how he used his power as he gracefully landed at the bottom. 「 The heroes are here now so you don't have to worry. 」

It wasn't as dark as he expected it to be, it was actually pretty bright thanks to the light seeping down, and he could see the three clearly. 「 Is there anybody injured? 」 Air asked.

Izuku flinches, pretending to be in pain as he tells the brunet, 「 My leg hurts. I think it's broken. 」 Unlike the greenet's more calm answer, Tenya played his role of the 'worried victim' to the T as he shouted in a panicked tone, 「 Uraraka-kun is dying! She's dying! 」

Glancing at the 'unconscious' Ochako, Air sees the brunette attempt to hold her laughter and failing. Kneeling down, the water element placed two fingers on her neck, checking for a pulse he knew was still there since this was just pretend.

「 She's unconscious but we have medics up there to treat her and Izukun. 」 Air said, reassuring the other two.

Tenya shouts words of gratitude to him before looking at Izuku and starting to fret about him. The loud noise made the brunet flinch a bit, he still wasn't used to too much noise and it seems that the worried one still hasn't calmed down yet.

「 But for now... 」 Air placed a hand on Tenya's shoulder, making the former look at him. 「 We should stay calm. When one person panics, others will start to panic. We are here now so everything'll be okay. 」 Air said calmly as the tall teen nodded affirmatively.

All the while, the trio couldn't help but feel relaxed in his presence. Something about his aura made them feel calm, even the 'unconscious' Ochako felt like she was gonna fall asleep if she didn't stay alert.

Soon enough, Tokoyami is down at the bottom as well. Izuku greeted the raven head who apologized for the wait. Seeing another rescuer, Tenya leans over Ochako with relief in his voice.

「 Uraraka-kun, we'll be fine! The help is here. We'll be rescued! 」 He exclaimed, the 'unconscious' brunette trying so hard not to laugh and spit on his face.

Noticing that she was the 'unconscious victim' here Tokoyami concluded she should be the first up. 「 Alright, let's take Uraraka up since she lost consciousness. 」

He was about to carry her himself when Air did for him. Using his water, he carefully carried the brunette and placed her onto the stretcher as softly as possible

「 Take her up. 」 Air said before being engulfed in light again with a new element in his place.

「 I'll stay with them and take care of Izukun's leg. 」 Cahaya stated, opening up the first air kit next to Izuku.

The greenet was in awe at the brunet's power, being the the one of the only ones who knew his abilities, he was very excited to see all the different elements the brunet has.

While Izuku was fanboying, Tenya raised a concern for their plan. 「 Isn't it dangerous for a sole person to carry an unconscious one? 」 He inquired worriedly.

But Tokoyami wasn't worried, 「 Fear not! 」 The raven head exclaimed as he revealed his shadowy friend. 「 I'm two in one. 」

Everyone stared in amazement at the Dark Shadow that was seemingly attached to Tokoyami. 「 Interesting... 」Cahaya muttered softly as he was reminded of his own shadow manipulating friend.

「 Dark shadow, take Uraraka up. 」 Tokoyami commanded the shadow who crossed its arms and turned its head. 「 Shut up. 」

The shadow seemed to have sentience and could talk. You could see the two analysts' brains work as they examined Dark Shadow.

「 Hurry up and do it. 」 Tokoyami said as Dark Shadow follows his direction. 「 I just have to do that, right? 」

「 Take her up slowly. Don't let her get harmed. 」 Tokoyami added, watching closely as Dark Shadow lifted the girl in the stretcher up while the others up top pulled.

Izuku was the first to comment on the raven head's Quirk. 「 Dark Shadow is an amazing Quirk. 」 The greenet said, staring in pure wonder.

Tokoyami nodded, remarking about his Quirk himself, 「 It's a useful tool, even if you can't separate it from yourself. 」

But Izuku's perception was different. 「 I don't think he's a tool at all. 」 The greenet stated, his eyes sparkling with amazement. 「 He can always help you! How cool! 」

Tokoyami was a bit stunned to hear that, and he was even more stunned when Cahaya added his own remark on his Quirk. 「 Your ability is such an amazing partner that is truly fit for all types of hero work. Hone that power and the results will be incredible. 」 Cahaya stated, taking one more glance at Dark Shadow before looking at Tokoyami.

「 You'll become an outstanding hero one day. 」 The light element declared as everyone stared at him in silence.

The brunet glanced at Izuku, raising a brow at the greenet as he gave him a teasing smile. 「 What? You're not the only analyst in the class. 」

Izuku blushed, sputtering a bit as Cahaya went back to treat the greenet's 'injured' leg. Needing a bit of light to see more clearly, the light element created a tiny sphere of light out of view from Dark shadow as he continued his work.

「 Don't worry Tokoyami-kun. I'll keep the light small for Dark Shadow. 」 Cahaya reassured the raven head who was surprised the brunet figured that out.

「 Amazing how you concluded that that was Dark Shadow's weakness. 」 Tokoyami remarked, looking at the working brunet.

Cahaya stops for a second, his face falling for a moment. 「 I have a friend who has a similar ability as you. 」 The light element responded before continuing his work.

Izuku couldn't help but feel sympathy for the brunet. He must be missing his family and friends by now. In the midst of his thoughts, the greenet didn't realize until the brunet spoke that his leg was now patched up.

「 There! That should hold for now. 」 Cahaya said, looking at his work with a proud look on his face.

「 Thank you heroes! 」 Tenya exclaimed loudly.

Turning to Tokoyami, Cahaya lifted the greenet up and placed him on the stretcher that was brought back down. 「 Tokoyami you carry Izukun up, I will bring Ten-kun. 」

The raven head nodded, letting Dark Shadow lift the greenet as the light element turned to the tall teen. 「 Hold onto me tightly. 」 Cahaya instructed.

Tenya followed, gripping onto the brunet's shoulders as tightly as he could without hurting him. In a blink of an eye they went from the bottom of the cliff to the top with the others.

Everyone stared at the brunet in shock even his teammates were stunned.

Seven 'Quirks' in one. The ones who didn't know were all told about his Elemental Manipulation 'Quirk' but seeing it in action was absolutely incredible. Though they were confused by the brunet's sudden personality shifts, and they haven't seen it all yet.

The last team was up. BoBoiBoy and Tsuyu were the victims with the frog girl playing the 'injured victim' and the brunet playing the 'unconscious victim'. Ochako tapped the brunet who was in his water element form for some reason.

She watched the 'unconscious' boy float up, waiting for Ojiro's signal to release. As soon as she does, the brunet falls safely into Izuku's arms.

「 Safe! 」 The greenette exclaimed, looking at the brunet who was still asleep. 「 BoBoiBoy? 」 He calls out the brunet but instead receives snores.

「 He's asleep... 」 Izuku and Ojiro sweatdropped as everyone stared in shock at the brunet's sudden laid-back nature.

The rest of their exercise ended relatively well with the rescue team successfully saving all the 'victims'.

「 We're done. 」 Thirteen said, confirming the end of this exercise.

However, there were four other students who weren't able to participate. Satou concluded that it was because they wouldn't be efficient at the job with Aoyama exclaiming it was unfair

Regardless of the reason, Air on wished to sleep at the moment. 【 I wanna take a nap... 】 The water element thought as he tried to keep his eyes open.

「 You did a great job for your first rescue. There're still more battle scenarios prepared. 」 Thirteen stated, reassuring those who weren't able to participate a chance to be included. 「 In a nutshell, there's still a lot to do. 」

「 Well, that was expected... 」 Kaminari commented, as Aizawa warned them, 「 Don't relax! Class isn't over yet! 」

The raven-haired man then glances at the brunet nodding off. 「 BoBoiBoy. 」 He warned firmly.

「 Yes, sensei... 」 Air mumbled, yawning as he returned back to his original self. 「 Why am I yawning? 」 BoBoiBoy asked no one in particular as he yawned.

「 So strange... 」 The class all thought.

「 Now we continue in this field. 」 Thirteen said as they arrived at the collapsed zone.

The Space Hero then begins to explain the next exercise. 「 Unlike the first training, there are different situations. The purpose of this scenario is to give a more genuine experience. The injured can be anywhere and we don't know in what state they may be. 」

「 You'll have eight minutes to spread out and five of you'll be the rescuers. The other sixteen must hide in whichever place they wish. However, eight of the hidden ones won't speak. I'll select them. 」 She concluded, as she looked at the crowd of students for her picks.

Mina raised her hand, excitedly exclaiming.「 We're going to play hide and seek! Yay! 」 BoBoiBoy's eyes sparkled, already deciding on which element to pick.

Without even anyone noticing, the brunet had transformed into his nature element, his attire changed and its color scheme turned into a green one.

「 More or less... 」 Thirteen said before pointing at Bakugou, Mineta, Ochako, Izuku, and BoBoiBoy. 「 Okay, the five that will search are them. 」

Aside from Bakugou who was irritated to have to work with Izuku, and Izuku who was afraid to have to work with Bakugou, the group was relatively excited for this new exercise.

「 Why do I have to do it with Deku?! 」 The blond complained loudly as Daun, ever so oblivious, tried to lighten the mood. 「 Let's get along now! Let's just have some fun! 」 The nature element exclaimed.

His shift in personality irritated the blond more and more. Getting close up in the brunet's personal space, Bakugou snarled at him angrily, 「 First you splash me with water and now you're all buddy buddy? The fuck are you on, you two faced bastard! 」

Daun just titled his head at the blond, confusion on his face that irritated the Bakugou even more as the blond stomped away.

The brunet's ear then perks up at the words of the purple-haired boy, 「 If you touch the victim's chest or ass when you carry them, is that considered an evil deed? 」

「 You're forbidden from carrying them, Mineta-kun. 」Izuku immediately said, blankly looking at the pervert.

Oblivious as he is, Daun jumps into the conversation with his own remark. 「 Aren't you too small to even carry them? You wouldn't even be on carry duty even if you wanted to. 」 Daun chuckled seeing the pervert yell out in defeated.

「 And don't be silly! You carry them with your hands under their knees and back. Not anywhere near their chest or a-- 」 Daun's sentence is immediately cut with Izuku covering the brunet's mouth with his hand.

「 You're forbidden from saying that, BoBoiBoy. 」 The greenet stated to the confused Daun.

After picking out the students who weren't allowed to speak, Thirteen then tells them they have only two minutes to hide. And as soon two minutes pass Thirteen gives them the signal to start.

「 All right! Let's look nearby! 」 Izuku said before flinching at Bakugou's loud shout, 「 There's no need! 」

「 Follow me, garbage! 」 The blond exclaimed, flying off with the use of his explosion, leaving the four behind without a care.

「 What's up with that guy?! He's too rash! 」 Mineta yells out, annoyed at Bakugou's way in doing things.

And unlike Mineta, Daun took the blond's statement too literally. 「 Garbage?! Where?! People ought to pick up after themselves! 」 The nature element exclaimed, searching the area for garbage.

Mineta stares at him as if he lost it, 「 Did you hit your head or what? 」 He inquired flatly as Daun looks at him curiously.

Sighing, Izuku decided that they should focus on their exercise. 「 It can't be helped. Let's search first for the ones that can speak. 」 He suggested as Ochako nodded in agreement.

「 A lot of time has passed, we should get going! 」 Izuku stated as everyone swiftly agreed.

「 Okay! 」 Mineta said.

「 I'm gonna be the best seeker ever! 」 Daun exclaimed, giggling softly.

「 Let's go! 」 Ochako shouted.

And the four split up to cover more ground, all searching in different areas but still close enough to each other to led a hand if needed.

Daun and Uraraka found Kyouka first.

Using her Quirk to make the surrounding cars and rocks float and using the nature element's vines to pull them away from the said earphone jack girl hiding underneath, they had successfully found a hider.

「 Kyouka-chan, found! 」 Ochako exclaimed as Daub waves excitedly at the girl, 「 Hiya, Kyou-chan!! 」 He greeted her.

Kyouka sighed, disappointed to have been found so easily. 「 I was sure you guys wouldn't find me. 」

Daun puffed up his chest proudly, making the girls giggle at his antics. 「 See? I told you I'm good at hide and seek! 」 The nature element said with a smile.

Then all of a sudden, Tenya was seen running at them with panic in his face as he called out to them, 「 Uraraka-kun! Jirou-kun! BoBoiBoy! 」

The trio was confused why the tall teen was out of hiding with Kyouka even remarking, 「 Wasn't he one of the injured? 」

Sensing the danger in the air, Daun pulls the girls behind him and pulls Tenya into his Woven Leaf Barrier that shielded them from the sudden intense burst of wind and tremble of the ground.

Daun releases them from his barrier as soon as the shaking stops, everyone's eyes staring at the figure in front of them, emerging from the dust.

「 What the-- 」 Ochako muttered, stunned as Tenya exclaimed loudly, 「 It's a villain! 」

Ochako couldn't believe it, 「 What is he doing here?! 」 She yelled with Kyouka gritting her teeth as they watched the large villain. 「 Was he hiding? 」 She wondered.

The nature element's eyes focused on the familiar dual-color-haired boy the villain was holding. He could hear his friends gasp in horror.

「 It can't be! Impossible! 」 Ochako muttered in disbelief.

「 The strongest in the class... 」 Kyouka mumbled, shocked beyond belief.

「 That's why we should go to the teachers as fast as we can! 」 Tenya exclaimed as the others hesitated, Ochako looking at the villain who had their classmate in his grasp. 「 But... 」

Soon, their classmates all gathered around them. The huge shaking alarmed everyone and like Daun and the others, they were stunned to find their classmate in the hold of a villain.

Seeing the students around, the villain lifted his foot up, 「 I won't let you escape. This will be your grave! 」 He shouted as he stomped his foot down, creating an enormous explosion of air, sending everyone flying as the ground and buildings crumbled.

As the dust cleared, the students witnessed the power of the villain as he cleared the field. Shouts of confusion, conflict and fear could be heard. The villain scanned his surroundings, satisfied with it. 「 Alright. Now the terrain is clear. No one will escape! 」 He exclaimed loudly.

「 Um... Excuse me! 」 The villain stops, looking over to his left to find the nature element staring at him shyly. 「 Could you please let go of my friend over there, Mister? 」

Astonished to see that someone had managed to not get blasted away from his attack. 「 How did you-- Arghh! 」 The villain gets cut off by a fury of Leaf Shurikens.

The villain dodges them with ease but when he takes a step back, his foot gets caught in vines from the ground. He barely falls but manages to steady himself but that gives Daun an opening to throw an Itchy Leaf Blade straight at the villain's armpit.

The sudden itchiness caused the villain to let go of the heterochromic teen and Daun rushed towards him, using his vines to pull the unconscious teen towards the brunet as he ran off as fast as could away from the villain.

「 Roki, saved! 」 Daun yelled, running away from the villain who had just recovered from his Itchy Leaf Blade, while carrying the heterochromic teen.

From the distance he could hear the Thirteen, 「 Hurry up! Run away! 」 She yelled out.

A large shadow all of a sudden casted upon him, and Daun turned to see the villain about to attack him with his fist. The nature element yelps, closing his eyes tight, as he uses his Woven Lead Barrier to try and protect him and Todoroki when suddenly an explosion could be heard.

「 Run if you want and don't bother me, I'll kill him! He ain't cocky now that he's lost his hostage! 」 The blond attacked the villain, effectively putting himself in between his classmates and the villain.

The villain was amused at the blond's own cockiness, 「 You have guts to decide something like that in such a moment! 」 He exclaimed as he attacked them again who dodge his attack.

「 Thanks, Baku-kun! 」 Daun thanked the blond, giving him a quick nickname, before rushing unconscious Todoroki out of the battle field.

「 Shut up, you double personality freak! 」 Bakugou yelled, unappreciative of the nature element's gratitude.

Everyone watched the blond fight the villain. Some calling him stupid for fighting someone who was obviously stronger, and some were in awe at the blond's tenacity and power. Izuku was amongst the crowd, understanding fully well that the blond was doing exactly what needs to.

The villain was about to attack again as Tenya shouts out at the blond, 「 Be careful! 」

The blond uses his explosions to dodge upwards, and from the back lets out a powerful explosion at the villain's back. He backs off from the villain, yelling at Tenya furiously.

「 Hey! Don't worry about others! 」 Bakugou yelled, shouting at the tall teen to go and do something else, 「 Don't just stand there! Make those weaklings run away! 」

Tenya did not appreciate his words, questioning the blond's constant insistence that his peers were weak, 「 Why do you have to insult others?! 」

「 Oi Oi, Bakugo. 」 Kirishima called out to the blond, and alongside the others stared at Bakugou. 「 Who do you mean by 'those weaklings'? 」 The redhead inquired with a smirk.

「 We're the twenty students of class 1-A. 」 Momo said, everyones was there and no one was planning on running away, as Ochako exclaimed. 「 We'll all be heroes one day! 」

「 Everyone... 」 Izuku mutters as Daun quickly notices the villain's recovery.

「 Well, look alive everybody! Mister Meanie isn't down yet! 」 The nature element warned as everyone looked over at the villain.

「 How brave. However... 」 The villain said before punching upwards, the gust of wind created causing the large rocks ro fly up and fly towards them.

Aoyama, Kirishima, and Satou took care of all the rocks, destroying them swiftly as Kyouka attacked the villain with the use of her speaker boots with Sero following up, as Momo fires a net from the cannon she created.

All together, the whole class lunges at the villain. The villain instantly breaks free from the net and tape, the burst of air from his strength causing the students to fly off.

「 I didn't think you'd all come to attack me. 」 The villain stated, staring at the disheveled students. 「 It's unexpected, but with something so simple... 」

Seemingly unnoticed, Bakugou attacks from behind, letting out an explosion that the villain easily dodges. The blond quickly followed it up with a kick but was blocked in an instant. Bakugou swiftly backs off, the villain and the blond staring off intensely until a sudden wave of heat hits them.

Floating in the sky, wearing a sleeveless zipped up vest, and shorts, his fluffy brown hair and the white streak on it is visible with his facing forward and upward. His hands to the sky, hovering above it was a large fireball. The brunet's irritated expression is clear as day.

Api throws the large fireball straight at the villain, Bakugou yelling curses at him as the blond runs away from the fireball. The villain throws a punch at the fireball, the wind pressure hitting the fireball and making it explode in the sky. The villain sweatdropped, if he has to deal with more of those kinds of attacks while dealing with the other students, he might be in trouble.

Jumping down to the ground, Api glares daggers at the villain, approaching the villain while fire trailed behind each step he took. 「 You've got some nerve, villain... 」 He said, eyes twitching as he growled at the villain.

「 Another new element! 」 Izuku thought excitedly as he watched the fire element in awe.

「 I'll burn you to a crisp! Nothing but ashes will remain! 」 Api threatened, a maniac smirked on his face, as cracked his knuckles.

「 And he has the personality of Kacchan... 」 Izuku realized, sweat dropping at the similarities in attitude.

But right now he had to help too. Who knows how long they could keep up with the villain. Thinking up a plan, Izuku turns to his friends. 「 Guys! I've got an idea! 」

Api and Bakugou continued their onslaught of attacks but the villain still stood his ground. 「 You two just won't give up, will you? Shall I just end this? 」 The villain's statement made both teens scoff.

「 Don't make me laugh! 」 「 You haven't seen anything yet! 」 The blond and brunet exclaimed simultaneously, lunging at the villain again and again.

In the midst of the battle, Api meets eyes with Izuku who was sneakily running around the ring of area. The greenet was trying to telepathically tell the fire element his plan and it doesn't take long until he does.

Slamming his palms on the ground, the fire element creates a wall of flames all around the villain, effectively trapping him inside. The villain scoffs, 「 No matter how much you try... 」 But he maybe spoke too soon.

The flames suddenly parted, revealing Izuku on the other side with his hand aimed at the villain. He flicked his finger, yelling out in his head, 「 SMASH! 」 and breaking his finger instantly. The villain brought up his arms, blocking the wind pressure caused by the greenet's attack.

「 I-It didn't work? 」 Izuku is appalled to see the villain block his attack so easily, and the villain starts to get cocky and with his guard down, a spiky blond managed to plow through that opening.

「 Weaklings should step aside! I'll turn him to ashes. 」 Bakugu yelled at Izuku, letting out a powerful explosion that sent the villain flying, all the while shouting out, 「 DIE! 」 at the villain.

And just as Izuku had planned, the villain flew straight at the boulder covered with Mineta's sticky balls. The villain yells out in shock, struggling get escape as he is completely stuck.

Izuku's friends praise the greenet for perfectly creating a plan that defeated the villain.

「 Thank you, it was only possible because of everyone's help. 」 Izuku thanks them for their compliments but doesn't forget to give credit to those who made this plan possible.

「 Let's not forget... 」 Izuku turned to the Api and Bakugou who were both menacingly walking towards the villain.

「 The ones who understood my plan and followed it until the very end, the one that gave me that opening with a wall of flames and the one that sent the villain flying with an explosion. 」 The greenet smiled, ever so grateful for their amazing deduction of his plan.

「 Those two are incredible after all. 」

The villain pulls and tugs, no matter what he did, it was useless. 「 I-I can't move. 」 The villain cried out, flinching at the sight of the two vicious teens.

「 Now it's time for the final touch! 」 「 This is for Roki, you villain! 」 Bakugou and Api exclaimed, ready to attack the villain when, 「 W-Wait! Wait a moment... 」 The villain pleaded, his mask sticking to the balls and revealing . . .

「 I am here! 」 It was All Might!?

「 All Might?! 」

The Pro Hero laughed all nonchalantly, 「 Actually I wanted to surprise you with a villain appearing in the end. 」

「 Well, just the other day the same happened, but you did a great job, I wouldn't expect any less from the hero course... 」 The blond trails off.

「 How to say it... I'm really sorry. 」

「 YOU WENT OVERBOARD, MORON! 」 The students yelled at their teacher, smacking the still stuck Pro Hero around.

Thirteen and Aizawa watched the scene, as the raven-haired man remembered how they got to this point. He warned the All Might about the consequences and if anything happened, the blond had to take responsibility.

This was his punishment.

「 What the hell were you thinking?! 」 Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero exclaimed simultaneously, furiously beating the Pro Hero up.

「 Forgive me! 」 All Might pleaded.

A shadow cast upon the Pro Hero, and he looks up to find rage-filled eyes glaring at him. 「 Say your last words, All Might-sensei. 」 Api said, lifting his flaming fist.

「 Young BoBoiBoy! Please wait! 」 All Might desperately pleaded, flailing around in fear.

Izuku, still stunned, watched them berate his mentor. Hearing footsteps coming closer, the greenet looked over his shoulder to see Todoroki awake and well.

「 Todoroki-kun! 」 Izuku calls out to the heterochromic teen, gaining some of his classmates attention.

「 Eh, you were an accomplice in the surprise?! 」 Bakugou angrily questions, grumbling curses at Todoroki, as Api's rage was fueled even more at the discovery.

「 You betrayed us and you got Roki to betray us too!? 」 Api exclaimed, receiving more pleas and apologies from the Pro Hero.

The heterochromic teen glances at the fire element, something bubbling in his chest, before mumbling an apology for tricking his classmates along with All Might.

「 How cruel, All Might! 」 Mina yells at the hero.

All Might was practically crying as he apologized for the umpteenth time. 「 I'm sorry, it wasn't that serious. 」

「 Midoriya-kun harmed his finger! Don't you think you set a bad image for the school? 」 Tenya stated, reprimanding the Pro Hero for this unappreciated surprise.

「 Don't do it ever again! 」 Ochako tells him, puffing up her cheek, and pouting at the hero. 「 Right, Deku-kun? 」

The greenet knees give in and he falls down, causing Ochako and Tenya to gasp. Izuku sighed in relief, 「 Well, I'm just glad it was just a surprise. 」

His friends smiled, relieved their friend was okay. All Might's eyes sparkled, 「 Young Midoriya... 」 He mutters, earning glares from Ochako, Tenya, and Api.

「 You think you're off the hook, huh? 」 The fire element smirking menacingly the hero.

Todoroki stared at them in the distance, his anger boiling, and his heart aching. His gaze focused on the brunet, an itch gnawing at him, and it was killing him. Prying his eyes away, the heterochromic teen walks off with no one noticing.

Except the fire element who stared at the heterochromic teen with furrowed eyebrows.

It was lunchtime, and BoBoiBoy had pulled Aizawa to the side with Hizashi who was confused at what happened. They were in the teachers lounge, an awkward silence hanging in the air, as Hizashi looked between the teen and his friend.

BoBoiBoy, with his arms crossed, glared at his raven-haired caretaker who awkwardly avoided the brunet's gaze.

"Why did you leave me in the dark with this?" The brunet complained as the raven-haired man sighed for the umpteenth time.

"I can't tell you everything kid." Aizawa said as it was BoBoiBoy's turn to sigh.

"I know but maybe just a hint?" The brunet's eyes had glints of desperation.

Finally dropping the whole surprise topic, massaging his power watch as he groans tiredly. His sudden shift of mood caught the two teachers' attention, the blond man sliding a cup of hot tea for the teen.

The brunet takes it gratefully, blowing at the tea for a moment before sipping the hot drink. Relaxing a bit, he places the tea back down.

"I'm sorry... I'm just a bit on edge lately and I didn't appreciate the surprise." BoBoiBoy apologized, the stress showing on his face.

Aizawa inched closer forward, eyes softening as he looked at the teen. "Hey... Is everything alright?" He almost whispered.

BoBoiBoy didn't know what to do. Telling them what he knows would be the right thing to do but he didn't want to betray Todoroki's trust. How would he know if the heterochromic teen wants this out? Would he be angry at the brunet if he told them?

"I... There's something happening and I want to help, but if I do then I'd get questions for knowing, and I might just make it worse in the end." He decided to keep it himself for now.

He needed to confront Todoroki about this first, and help him reach out to someone. Be there for him. And that starts with him telling the heterochromic teen the truth of what he knows.

"Never forget you've got us with you, okay?" Hizashi reminded the teen who smiled and nodded at them.

As the time ticked, they put the conversation on hold as they urged the brunet to go eat lunch. The brunet gave Hizashi a quick hug and bid his goodbyes to the teachers.

Leaning over to the raven-haired man, Hizashi asked, "So why was the Little Listener mad?" His tone teasing as Shouta sighed.

「 Don't get me started... 」

The moment BoBoiBoy entered the cafeteria, his classmates crowd him almost instantly. The brunet was surprised and terrified to see them with question-filled eyes. He was swiftly dragged into their class' table with Mina giving him his usual cafeteria lunch.

His class were all curious especially after the rescue training. He tried his best to answer everyone's questions. It was like their questions never ended, he couldn't keep up. Momo and Tenya saw his discomfort and quickly told their classmates to give him some space.

Seeing BoBoiBoy's frazzled made them feel a bit guilty, everyone apologizing to him as the brunet was swift to forgive. People get curious all the time, he wasn't gonna hate someone for that.

The atmosphere died down to a more calm one as the Class Representatives told everyone to let BoBoiBoy finish his lunch first before bombarding him with questions.

Whilst he ate, BoBoiBoy scanned the area to look for a certain heterochromic teen. He was worried about his friend after he left without a word and a serious look on his face. Not seeing him at the table, his gaze looked towards the sea of students and almost instantly spotted his friend's familiar dual-color hair.

He was about to call out to the teen when they locked eyes and the heterochromic teen immediately averted his eyes. The brunet's face falls, recognizing the look on his friend's face, Rei's words suddenly resurface and he's left worried.

He needs to talk to him.

Another day comes to an end! Even though the brunet was definitely still upset with the fake villain trick the teachers pulled on them. He also can't help but smile recalling everything.

Then there was the matter of Todoroki.

BoBoiBoy just about finished packing up when he accidentally bumped into someone. He quickly mutters an apology, looking up to see that it was Todoroki! Just the person he was looking for.

Except . . . the heterochromic teen was giving him this icy glare that sends shivers down the his spine.

「 Is something wrong, Roki-kun? 」 BoBoiBoy inquired softly only for the other to harden his glare at him.

「 Why do you do that? 」 The heterochromic teen growled out, perturbing the brunet greatly by his friend's sudden tone shift.

「 Do you honestly believe that you're fooling anyone? 」 He continued, his tone becoming harsher and harsher, as the room's temperature started to go down.

The brunet is utterly taken aback by his friend's hostility, especially since it isn't like him at all to act like that. What did he do wrong?

Todoroki was glaring holes into his skin, the brunet stuck in dumbfounded silence as this went on. 「 Of course you don't! You don't know anything, do you? 」

「 Why are you bothering everyone with your presence? You really think everyone will still be your friend once your time here is over? 」

「 No. Because they only talk to you because you're the big news at the moment. You really think that will last?」

Why was he saying this? What did the brunet do to cause this?

「 If you're here expecting to make friends then you're wasting everyone's time. No one cares! I don't care! 」

「 Why do you even bother?! 」 He yelled at him, making the brunet flinch.

Silence.

Absolute dead silence.

And as if he realized he had just snapped at the brunet, Todoroki feels the guilt crawl up. Especially after seeing the hurt expression on his friend's face . . . Ex-friend, after this . . .

「 I see... 」 BoBoiBoy finally said, avoiding the other's gaze.

His chest hurts, his heart just shatters at the heterochromic teen's statement. Everything hurts. He could feel the tears prick his eyes.

Swiftly taking his stuff, his grip on his bag strap tightened, he was trying his hardest not to show his face right now. He quickly bows his head, making the heterochromic teen flinch back at the sudden action.

「 I'm sorry. Excuse me, Todoroki-san. 」 BoBoiBoy muttered, his voice cracking slightly, before immediately rushing out of the classroom.

The heterochromic teen was left in the empty classroom, listening to his former friend's footsteps become quieter and quieter. There was a burning ache in his chest that he couldn't understand, BoBoiBoy wasn't his friend. He never was . . . so why?

He knew why. Deep down in his heart, which he tried so desperately to lock behind layers of ice, BoBoiBoy was someone he liked. Because the brunet wasn't trying to be friendly with him because of his bastard. Because he didn't know about his connection with his number 2 hero. Because he didn't know anything about him.

He made him feel normal . . . for once.

But his fire, the fire Shouto knew he had because he was told of it. He thought it wouldn't matter to him but . . . when he saw the burst of flames, the waves of heat, the intensity that reminded him so vividly of his bastard father's own flames.

It terrified him.

BoBoiBoy terrified him.

And he hated it.

Izuku was standing a few steps away from their classroom, chatting with Uraraka and Iida when a familiar sight of an orange cap came into his peripheral vision.

「 Oh! BoBoiBoy! Do you wanna walk home with us? 」 Uraraka asked with a smile, also noticing the brunet.

The trio's face fell when they saw BoBoiBoy's forced smile. 「 Maybe some other time. 」 They barely heard him say as he walked off with hunched shoulders.

They watched as Kaminari approached him with Sero, Kirishima, and Mina. 「 Yo! BoBoiBoy! We're going out to eat. Wanna come with? 」

BoBoiBoy doesn't even look at the group, rushing past them as muttered,「 Sorry. Not now. 」

The group, like Izuku's, was taken aback by the brunet's sudden behavior shift. Something was gnawing at Izuku, telling him something was wrong. As he was about to run after the brunet when BoBoiBoy suddenly accidentally slams face first into Katsuki's back.

「 Oi! Watch it, you fuckin- 」 The blond cuts himself off, his eyes widened as he stared at the brunet, frozen in place.

BoBoiBoy stood in front of him for a moment, seemingly stunned as if he just realized something. After what felt like forever, the brunet looked up at the blond.

Katsuki doesn't care about the foriegn exchange student, he was just another obstacle in his way, a stepping stone for him. But even he was confused when he saw the brunet's face etched in guilt.

But what did he need to feel guilty for? All the brunet's done to him was bother him during lunch and asking him to be his friend and shit. And sure it was annoying as he but Katsuki wasn't going to let him break him.

The blond's train of thought soon gets interrupted by the sounds of sniffles. With his shoulders trembling, gaze averted, BoBoiBoy was crying. Katsuki was stunned, he didn't know what to do.

He doesn't even get the chance to say anything when the brunet suddenly takes off running, leaving the blond behind. Everyone in that hallway stared at him, some giving him a dirty look assuming he was the one to make the brunet cry.

「 Yo, Bakugou. What happened man? 」 Kirishima inquired, looking towards the direction the brunet ran off to.

How would he know? The brunet just suddenly started sobbing for some reason. It kinda irked him in a way, but why would he care?「 The hell do I know. 」

From the other side, Izuku watched stunned silence with Uraraka and Iida whispering their worries at his sides. Their words, however, blurred into the background, his attention too focused on the brunet's back disappearing in the distance.

「 What happened... 」 The greenet couldn't help but think.

His ears pick up the sound of doors sliding, making him turn his head towards the sound. His green eyes met piercing blue and gray ones, the glare he gave the greenet sent shivers down his spine. But Izuku noticed something else, a sort of sadness in them.

Todoroki and BoBoiBoy had a fight.

And from the looks of it, it affected both sides horribly.

BoBoiBoy commuted home feeling like he was the biggest failure in the world. The breakup pierced him straight in the heart. Was Roki really not his friend? Was all of his friendship with anyone truly fake and ingenuine?

He didn't know. And frankly, he doesn't even know if he wants to know.

Halfway through his walk home, he feels a buzz in his book bag. Rummaging through it, he finds that it was his phone-its screen showing that it was Hizashi calling him.

【 He must've heard what had happened... 】 The brunet mumbled sadly, his thumb wavering over the decline button before gliding over to press the accept button instead.

Pressing the phone against his ear, he hears Hizashi's sigh of relief, but he knew the questions would begin. Maybe he could ask for some advice?

"BoBoiBoy! Where are you right now?" The sound of the blond man's distressed voice echoed loudly. Oh, right . . . He always told them in advance whenever he would go home on his own, but he forgot this time.

「 'm sorry Zashi-san... I forgot to tell you I was going home already... I'm halfway there now. 」 BoBoiBoy answered softly, trying his hardest to settle his shaky voice.

"Ah okay... Please get home safe! And..." Hizashi trails off at the end but swiftly finishes. "You can tell me anything, you know that right?"

BoBoiBoy felt himself nodding, 「 Of course I do. Just not now... 」

"All right... I'll see you later then." Hizashi decided to end it here, maybe talk with the teen face to face later, since it seems like he won't be getting anywhere here.

「 Okay... 」 BoBoiBoy responded.

"Oh, and Shouta says he's sorry for the surprise!" Hizashi added, trying to lighten the mood.

It somewhat worked, the brunet chuckled albeit it was broken and it sounded more like cry than a laugh. 「 See you later. 」

And with that he hung up.

BoBoiBoy felt guilty. He knew Hizashi knew something was wrong the moment he continued to speak in Japanese. The two of them had always spoken in English when conversing so it must've concerned the blond man.

【 This was a horrible day... 】

Void. Wherever he was, it was like an endless void of darkness. Each step he took echoing loudly, his eyes darting everywhere but nothing.

Until he heard a voice . . .

His head spun around immediately, scanning the darkness for anything. He trembled in place, a chill running down his spine, as laughter surrounded him. He couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from.

Shutting his eyes tight, he tried to block out the laughter; he tried to figure out where it's all coming from. His ears perk up and he figures out where it is.

Red sparks emit from his hands as he swiftly slashes his swords to the right. "Why don't you just shut up?!" He yells as his blades hit something.

He opened his eyes, pupils dilating as his grips on his blades loosen and they fell. He let out a choked scream as he backed away.

It wasn't the target he thought, he attacked Yaya instead . . .

Her eyes stared at him, she was clutching her chest and stomach, blood dripping from the big slash mark she imprinted on her.

【 Why? Why? Why? 】 She repeated over and over, crying blood as she moved towards him.

He stepped back, shaking his head. No. This wasn't real. Please . . . don't make this real.

His back bumps into something, halting his steps. He turned his head over his shoulder and he so wished he didn't. Hands clutch his shoulders, and he tried his damnedest to pry them off, panic rising in his chest.

With another yell, he manages to get away from him, falling backwards. He put his head in his hands, curling in himself, quiet sobs escaping his mouth.

First Yaya, and now . . . Fang?

He couldn't tell at first because his entire head was gone, seemingly blasted off, blood dripping down like a waterfall. But he recognized his clothes, he knew it was Fang.

【 This has to be a dream. No way this is real. He was at Mr. Aizawa's house. This is just a nightmare. 】 He desperately tried to tell himself.

Suddenly, the feeling of thorny vines wrapping around his arms brings him back to the present. The vines prying his hands off his face, forcing him to look, but he kept his eyes shut.

【 B-Bo... BoiBoy... 】 Gopal?

【 Please... H-Help... 】 Ying?

He knew he shouldn't, not when he witnessed Yaya's and Fang's states, but he did anyway . . .

A choked sob erupts from her mouth. Gopal and Ying hang from the thorny vines, Gopal squeezed tight, suffocated and pierced as blood oozed out of him; and, Ying whose head, arms, and legs are all snapped in half.

He wanted to throw up. Their voices echoed in her head, the images of their bloody appearances. Why is this happening?

And then there was silence . . .

His eyes flickered everywhere, his friends were gone, the thorny vines replaced with strings. Tugging at them, he tries getting them off, only he couldn't. If he already hadn't had enough thrown at him, like he was being controlled, his hands start to move on his own.

His hands reach for his neck, grasping it and squeezing it hard. He tried to make them stop but he was not in control. He starts choking, desperately trying to pull his hands off.

BoBoiBoy shuts his eyes, mind pounding and the next time he opens his eyes, piercing violet eyes stare back at him.

His hands were wrapped around this stranger's hands tightly gripping his neck. He does everything in his power to get this stranger off of him, scratching, punching, kicking, but the stranger didn't even seem affected.

But could this offender handle his Elemental power?

He reached his right hand out to the stranger, his hand directly on their face. Except nothing came out. Panic sets in as his brain tries to wrack around what happened.

His eyes lock on his right hand's wrist, and his heart drops.

His power watch is missing.

【 Looking for something? 】 The stranger inquires flatly, in an almost glitch-like voice.

From a dangling bundle of string hung his power watch, which he immediately tries to reach out to but he doesn't reach. The pressure on his neck suddenly increases, and he chokes up a cry.

He's really gonna die.

Amidst his racing thoughts, he barely registers the stranger's mumblings.

【 How does it feel? It hurts, doesn't it? You deserve this. 】 The stranger muttered over and over.

At this point, he stopped struggling, feeling weak and hopeless.

【 Someone... please... help me... 】 His last thought was until he heard a door slam open.

Shouta woke up to Mako growling and scratching at him-something she never did before unless something was wrong-and when he heard a loud noise echo from outside his room, he knew.

Something was definitely wrong.

He immediately jumps out of his bed, with his capture scarf still on his neck, the raven-haired man rushes out the door. Eyes locking straight towards the strange figure with his hands on the kid's neck.

On instinct, Shouta wrapped the figure with his capture scarf (it was harder with his arms in cast but he still managed). He makes eye contact with the figure, there was rage in those violet irises. He pulls at the scarf, only to have the figure turn into strings before it dissipates into nothingness.

The brunet coughs up profusely, massaging his bruised neck. Shouta was instantly at the kid's side, examining the surroundings. There was no sign of forced entry from where he was, but he'll have to take a closer look later.

Right now, BoBoiBoy is his top priority.

"M-my power watch. P-please... my watch..." The brunet whispered, clinging desperately onto the raven head, the teen trembling in his hold as Shouta searched for the brunet's watch.

He spots it on the floor a few inches away. Taking it, he gives it back to the brunet, keeping the kid close as he tries to comfort the stressed teen. The two sat in that embrace for who knows how long, Shouta didn't really know nor care. All that mattered was the kid.

Ah yes, I can just smell the angst fuming for the next chapter.

Roki Fans please don't kill me. I promise I like our peppermint boi, this is important for both his and Boi's relationship and development.

A part of this chapter was slightly inspired by StarTwinkle___ 's BOBOIBOY X BNHA FANFIC - ELEMENTAL HERO IN BNHA.

I was originally not gonna include it but I realized how I could advance Roki & Boi's relationship and development with it so I decided to add it in. It also allowed me to show case Boi's elements that didn't get much screen time in the pervious chapters.

I'm sorry if any of you felt uncomfortable with the last scene. It'll only get worse.

I know some are wondering who the Strange Figure is, but let me tell you right now that I'm not going reveal who they are anytime soon. There will be hints about who they are and maybe you'll guess who it is but you won't get a confirmation until the sequel.

(Yes, there is a sequel but not anytime soon)

But after this chapter, I think we can all collectively agree that regardless of who this Strange Figure is, they need to back the hell off of our Boi. He's suffered enough... or maybe he hasn't?
