--------------------------

When he fell . . . he fell hard. The thin layer of ice brittle as he plummeted down from the heights above. Ice breaking like glass as the shivering temperatures consumes him. His vision starts getting blotchy, heavy eyelids inviting him to sleep.

Cold. 】 His only thought as he sank into the depths of the river. With barely no any energy left in his body, he couldn't even lift a finger, exhaustion soon engulfs him. 【 Maybe I could rest my eyes for a bit? Yeah, only for a moment. Then I'll wake up. 】 He thought as he let darkness surround him, falling into a deep slumber. Asleep, he drifts down and something tugs him down hard.

Then, there was a loud splash, and four figures came diving down into the waters below, squinting their eyes when they were met with a sudden bright light. As its glow dies down, they simultaneously let out a gasp. Their friend was gone. And there were only strands of white hair floating about and a small vibrant amethyst crystal sinking down.

---------

When Izuku fell, he fell with a scream. One moment he was facing off against the mist-like villain with his teacher and classmates, the next he was suddenly dropped into a large body of water. Izuku opened his eyes, taking in his new surroundings. He concluded that he got here because of the mist villain's warping Quirk.

His mind ran wild, recalling how the mist villain introduced the group as the 'League of Villains', talking about how they planned to kill All Might, disappointment in the villain's voice when the said hero was absent. These villains want to kill the Symbol of Peace, his idol; his mentor! Izuku can't help but think, 「 What the heck is going on right now?!

As he begins to swim up back to the surface, from the corner of his eye, he spots something. A gasp almost escapes his lips when his eyes land on an unconscious figure-a boy around his age-a few meters away from him, drifting deeper underwater. How did he not see him earlier? A thought that was dismissed in an instant.

Instinctively, Izuku reaches out to the boy, protectively linking an arm around the brunette's. For a moment, he almost forgets that he was underwater until the need for oxygen snaps him back to the present. He swims up with the unconscious teen, holding his breath as long as he can, they were almost there until . . .

Eyes shoot wide open, the greenette lets out a muffled yell when he notices a villain rushing towards them at an alarming speed. Izuku braces himself, protecting the unconscious boy with his body as he waits for the impact. Before the villain could attack, however, Asui comes out of nowhere with Mineta hanging by her arm and kicks the villain right on the side of his face.

「 Midoriya-chan! 」 She called out. And in quick succession, she opened her mouth, her tongue flying forward as it wrapped around Izuku's torso tightly. She kicks off of the villain's face, propelling them up to the surface and pushing the villain down.

Now up at the surface, Asui places Izuku down on the ship as gently as she could, the greenette sputtering out the water that entered his system and subsequently letting go of the unconscious boy beside him. Groaning slightly in pain, he directed his attention to the frog girl-his savior-who was climbing onto the ship after throwing Mineta on board with a loud thud.

「 Thank you, Asui-san. 」 He thanked her as the frog girl nonchalantly responded, 「 Just call me Tsu. 」

The statement made the greenette sputter bashfully. He wasn't used to calling others by their first name so for Asui- I mean, Tsuyu to casually ask him to was new for him.

「 This has turned into a bad situation, though. 」 Tsuyu commented, promptly bringing Izuku back from his stuttering state. 「 Yeah. What the villain said earlier... 」 Recalling the Warp Villain's words, it irked how the villains knew All Might would be there and how confident they seemed to be.

「 They knew U.A.'s schedule! 」 Izuku muttered out, 「 Looking at the big picture, those guys must've set up the media intrusion the other day to get information. 」 The media break-in fiasco the other day was definitely a possible tactical ploy, which meant they've been watching for an opportunity to swoop in. 「 They were waiting to pounce, just as Todoroki-kun said. 」

「 But, but- 」 Izuku and Tsuyu turned to Mineta, watching the short boy punch the air as he continued to say with great confidence, 「 It's not like they can kill All Might! Once All Might comes, he'll pound those guys! 」

It was an optimistic way of looking at the situation but . . . something didn't sit right, which Tsuyu quickly comments on.

「 Mineta-chan. 」

「 Do you think they went through all that trouble if they didn't have a way to kill him? Those guys just told us they would torture us to death, you know. 」

「 Will we really be able to hold out until All Might arrives? And even if All Might comes, will he be alright? 」

The horror on Mineta's face increased as the frog girl went on, the short purple-haired boy calling out to Izuku and clinging onto him like a frightened chicken, as all his confidence shattered into pieces. The greenette, on the other hand, was busy muttering to himself, not really paying attention to Mineta's cries as he took into account all of Tsuyu's comments.

His muttering and thoughts were cut short when the ship suddenly rocked violently. The ship was surrounded by villains; the volt seemed to be caused by them. It won't be long until they force them back in the waters if they don't think of a plan quickly.

They want to kill All Might. Izuku wants to know why but none of that matters right now! 「 If those guys... 」 He started, Tsuyu and Mineta turning to face him as he continued, 「 ...have a way to defeat All Might, then right now, we should stop whatever they're planning. 」

「 By fighting and winning! 」 Izuku said determinedly.

「 What do you mean, fight? Are you stupid?! 」 Mineta cried out, his complaints ignored as the greenette was deep in thought (again) while Tsuyu was more preoccupied with something else.

「 Kero. Midoriya-chan. There's something I've been meaning to ask for a while now. 」 Tsuyu said, catching both Izuku and Mineta's attention.

「 Who's that boy? 」 The greenette follows the frog girl's point and finds his eyes landing on the still unconscious boy beside him. He completely forgot about him! Was the boy even alive anymore?

Moving quickly, Izuku places two of his fingers on the boy's neck, checking for a pulse. 「 He's still alive! Phew. 」 A sigh of relief escaped his mouth, but all eyes were now on him.

He thinks about Tsuyu's question. He helped this boy who he doesn't even know-a complete stranger-who could be a villain for all he knew and yet . . . he saved him anyway despite all of that. On instinct.

「 I don't know... I just saw him and... just reached out to him. 」 Izuku answered honestly. They could call him an idiot for doing something like that without a second thought. But, how could he do nothing when there was someone in front of him in need of help?

And, expectedly, on cue: 「 Are you crazy?! 」 Mineta shouted, exasperated whilst Tsuyu gave the greenette what looked to be a concerned and disappointed look. 「 You shouldn't have done something so reckless, Midoriya-chan. 」

Averting his gaze from the others, Izuku decided to focus on examining the boy beside him, as Mineta continued to berate him.

The strange boy's clothes were tattered, ragged, and damp from the water. There were bruises and cuts all over his face and arms. His black hair was tangled and disheveled, but what caught Izuku's eye was the streak of white hair.

「 He seems to be in bad shape. Kero. 」 Looking over his shoulder, Izuku and Tsuyu met gazes for a moment before focusing on the boy again. 「 Yeah. 」 Was all Izuku could say. The two seemed to be on the same page on that. But the questions, it swirled around his head.

「 Who cares if he's injured or not?! Let's just throw him overboard! 」 Mineta exclaimed loudly, receiving mixed reactions from the two.

Tsuyu agreed that Izuku shouldn't have taken a possible enemy with him, but she was not on board with throwing an already seriously injured person to drown.

Izuku hoped it didn't show on his face, but he was really not on board with that plan. Even if the boy was working with the villains, his injuries are real and he was definitely not in the position to be moving. And if the boy wasn't a villain and was just dragged into this mess . . . what kind of hero would let an innocent person die?

There was a tense silence. A three-way stare off between the classmates that was quickly broken by a raspy cough. Their eyes flickered at each other before all eyes were on the now writhing boy-groans echoing from him.

Mineta lets out a loud shriek. Hiding behind Izuku and Tsuyu, using the two as a sort of barrier while Izuku stepped forward, taking on a battle stance as he watched the boy closely.

Now... whose side are you on?

---------

Awaking with stabs of pain spreading throughout his already aching body, BoBoiBoy meets eyes with a curly green-haired boy, a girl with frog-like face, and a short purple blur.

He could feel his drenched clothes sticking to his body, and the pounding headache he had made it hurt to think as it muffled the voices that seemed to be coming from these unfamiliar faces.

Millions of questions were in his head. But he settled on one that would be the most appropriate right now.

【 Where am I? 】

These strangers' faces contorted into confusion. The curly green-haired boy in front spoke up first, 「 What? W-Who are you? What were you saying? 」 Even in his disoriented state, BoBoiBoy could hear the slight tremble in the other's voice.

But . . . he couldn't understand a single word the other said. The only word he could somewhat understand was 'all might'. All might? What was that? Was the curly green-haired boy trying to say all right? Was he asking if BoBoiBoy was all right? I mean, just one look and anyone could tell that BoBoiBoy was, most definitely, not all right.

【 W-What? I-I don't understand... 】 The brunette croaked out, his throat ached, causing a short coughing fit. Covering his mouth with the back of his hand to suppress his coughs, he could feel something drip down from his face, red drops falling onto his hand.

Red drops? No. That was blood . . . His blood.

A scream echoed loudly, the sound adding onto his headache as he let out a meek groan of pain. He grips onto the railings of the ship, attempting to sit up, though, it was easier said than done.

He, however, finds himself being steadied and helped by the curly green-haired boy and frog-like girl. "You shouldn't move too much. You're injured pretty badly." Hearing the familiar speech, the brunette's head shot up.

English. They could speak English, so naturally it would mean they could understand it too, right?

"W-Where am I?" BoBoiBoy asked instantly upon the realization.

Taken aback slightly, the two looked at each other before the girl spoke and answered, "You're at the USJ in U.A. High School. Ribbit. Mind telling us who you are though?"

BoBoiBoy was silent for a moment, holding his head as his pounding headache worsened when he thought, The USJ? U.A. High School? Where on earth was that? Unfamiliar faces, unfamiliar speech, and unfamiliar places.

Finally, the girl's question registers in his head and it snaps him out of his daze, so he answers, "N-Name...? My name's BoBoiBoy. I- what... Who are you?"

"Tsuyu Asui. But you can just call me Tsu." Tsuyu introduced in a nonchalant tone.

Turning to face the curly green-haired boy, the said boy responded, "Izuku Midoriya."

BoBoiBoy nods before turning to face the now less blurred short purple-haired boy. 「 You guys are insane! You shouldn't tell a stranger your name! Especially a stranger you met during an invasion! 」 He sees the boy's mouth move, based on his gestures, the brunette can only assume he was distressed about something.

Still, it disgruntled him to hear the same unfamiliar speech from before. His worries were soon relieved when Tsuyu answered for the boy. "That's Mineta-chan. Ribbit."

The said boy let out a ear-raping shriek which made the brunette flinch at the sound. He massaged his head in an attempt to lessen his headache when he noticed the lack of a cap on his head. His cap!

His eyes shot up, scanning the surroundings and receiving confused looks from the others. With desperation in his eyes, "Did... Did you guys happen to see... an orange dino cap?" He asked, his voice cracking slightly. Confused murmurs was his only answer before-

「 We're literally going to die and you're asking about a dumb hat?! Don't you realize what's going on right?! 」 There it was again. That strange speech. At this point, the brunette was getting frustrated. If only he could understand what he was saying, then maybe he'd know why the short boy was yelling.

Looking past the shouting boy, BoBoiBoy turned to Izuku beside him. "Did you-"

「 Don't ignore me! 」 Mineta interrupted, but was swiftly intercepted by Tsuyu. 「 Mineta-chan. He clearly doesn't understand Japanese so of course he wouldn't answer you. 」

Instead of trying to make two cents of their conversation, BoBoiBoy opted to talk to Izuku whilst the other two bickered in the background.

"My dino cap... did you see it? It's orange, has four spots on the sides, and 3 points on top." To his disappointment, the greenette didn't know where it was. With a heavy sigh, BoBoiBoy decides to search for his cap after he gets some medical help.

But . . . it seems like there are still some other things to worry about.

Izuku stands up from beside him, catching everyone's attention. "Asui- I mean, Tsuyu-san. In an underwater combat zone, your Quirk is the strongest since that kind of environment is your specialty, right?" Tsuyu responded with an affirmative croak as the greenette continued, "This means, in other words, the villains probably don't know what our Quirks are."

Quirks? BoBoiBoy repeated in his head. What did that mean? Scratch what he said earlier, he doesn't understand what they were talking about even when it was in a dialect he knows. This place was foriegn; what they were talking about was foriegn.

"Ribbit. That's true... If they knew that I was a frog, then they probably would have thrown me into that fire zone over there." Tsuyu responded in agreement.

"They probably separated us because they didn't know our Quirks so they planned to overpower us with numbers." Izuku continued, standing up to look over the railings of the boat. "We have inferior numbers and less experience."

"Our only hope lies in the fact that our opponents don't know what our Quirks are! The enemy isn't trying to climb the boat, that supports my hypothesis!"

"But that probably also means they aren't underestimating us either..." BoBoiBoy heard the greenette mumble under his breath.

With the use of context clues, he can assume that his new acquaintances were separated so that meant they had others out there in the same precarious situation as them, outnumbered by the amount of villains. He was slowly starting to understand what's going on.

"I'll tell you more about my Quirk." Tsuyu started as she explained the logistics of her Quirks.

"I can jump high, stick to walls, and stick my tongue out up to about 20 meters. I can also spit out my stomach and wash it, and secrete toxic mucus that actually just stings a little."

Even in his current dazed state, BoBoiBoy was quite impressed hearing about Tsuyu's power, or Quirk...? 【 Her power is strong! Especially in this kind of environment as Izukun said! 】 The brunette thought.

His mind wandered-he couldn't help but remember-to the time he encountered Katakulululu on Planet Dargha'ya. Can Tsuyu also hypnotize people? A ridiculous assumption but the brunette didn't know that. And despite how unnerving recalling that memory was, he acknowledged that it would still be pretty useful in their current situation.

"The last two are practically useless so you can probably forget about them." Tsuyu finished, receiving affirmative nods whilst Mineta was saying something unintelligible in the same foriegn speech as before.

"I already kind of knew, but you're really strong." Izuku replied as he brought his hand up and curled it into a fist, his brows furrowing together. "I have super strength, though once I use it, I'm pretty much out of commission."

BoBoiBoy listened intently as he thought, 【 Super strength? Like how Yaya's gravity manipulation allows her to create powerful punches? Except, Izukun's power was probably able to create more powerful punches than Yaya. 】 However, the drawback the greenette had mentioned made him think. Izuku was like . . .

"L-Like a double-edged sword...?" The brunette mumbled out as everyone turned to him, almost forgetting that he was there for a moment. He couldn't really blame them. He was more quiet than usual because his whole body hurt and his throat ached.

「 Hold up! Why are you guys casually explaining your Quirks with him right there! 」 Mineta shouted, frantically looking at his classmates like they were crazy, but Tsuyu just casually explained, "Mineta-chan. BoBoiBoy-chan can barely sit up on his own and he seems like he has a slight concussion."

"Besides, he's not in the best of shapes to be fighting right now." That was true. Maybe he should stop thinking altogether. Everything hurt like hell. And ironically enough, the pain was the only thing keeping him from passing out.

And even though he didn't understand what the short purple-haired boy said, the brunette guessed it was something along the lines of 'why are we trusting this random guy?', which he couldn't blame him for. He was a stranger to them.

But . . . he wanted to reassure them that he's not their enemy, or, at the very least, reassure them that he's not going to hurt them.

"I-Is there... any way for me to... reassure you guys?" BoBoiBoy asked. A moment of silence echoed in the air, and unsurprisingly-to BoBoiBoy-Mineta was the one to speak out.

"Y-You swear that you're not with them or tryna trick us?" The short purple-haired boy questioned, slightly shaking but attempting and failing to hide it.

"I swear."

"Th-Then! You gotta swear to not hurt us or stab us in the back!" Mineta exclaimed. The two stared at each other for a moment before BoBoiBoy turned to all of them one by one as he said, "I won't! I swear I'll protect you guys no matter what happens."

That's when Izuku spoke up, worry etched on his face. "BoBoiBoy-kun, you don't have to say that! You're still injured!"

But the said brunette merely smiled at the statement, bringing up his hand to give them a thumbs up as if he was saying, 'It's okay! Don't worry about me!'

But with that out of the way, Mineta seemed less tense now, and began to explain his Quirk. "My Quirk lets these stick super tight." The short purple-haired boy started as he pulled out a ball from his hair (or was it that his hair was made out of balls? BoBoiBoy couldn't tell.)

He placed the ball onto the ship's wall, the ball stuck on like it was glued on, as he kept explaining, "Depending on how I'm feeling, they can even stick for a whole day. They grow back after I pull them off, but if I pull too many, I'll start bleeding."

"They don't stick to me. They just bounce off." He finished, pressing his hand on the ball to show that it hadn't stuck onto him and simply bounced like he had said.

Silence filled the air. Izuku and Tsuyu stared at the short purple-haired boy silently while BoBoiBoy's tired eyes sparkled slightly upon listening to Mineta explain his Quirk. So, of course, he was confused when the said boy burst into tears as he complained.

"That's why I said we should just wait quietly! My Quirk is totally unfit for battle!" Mineta wailed whilst BoBoiBoy wondered why he thought so since it seemed perfect for capturing villains.

Izuku immediately snapped out of his daze and sputtered out, "Th-That's not it! It's an amazing Quirk, so we should think of a way to use it-" The greenette tried to reassure but it didn't seem to be working.

BoBoiBoy watched amicably until the question was suddenly directed at him. "BoBoiBoy-chan. What's your Quirk?" Tsuyu had asked. The two boys spun around to the two of them, the three U.A. students stared at the brunette with great anticipation for his answer.

Still a bit confused, BoBoiBoy could only reply with an inquiry, "My... Quirk?"

Before they could continue, a huge hand made out of water crashed the whole ship, breaking it apart in two. The sudden jolt made the already dazed boy stagger but Izuku fortunately caught him before he could slip and fall.

"What power... The ship's broken." Tsuyu exclaimed, there was a bit of awe in her voice, but not the good kind. Mineta cried out a yell, pulling out balls from his head and throwing them in the water in a desperate attempt to fend off the villains.

Izuku called out to him frantically as he looked over the railings. "What are you doing? The enemy will figure out your Quirk-" He trailed off. BoBoiBoy glanced over the railings to see what had caused the greenette to stop and then he saw it.

The villains in the water were staying away from the purple balls. The brunette couldn't help but point it out, "They're being cautious... and not touching them..?" Izuku nodded upon hearing BoBoiBoy's comment and with a determined glint in his eyes, the greenette stated, "I see!"

You could already see a plan forming in his head.

Meanwhile, BoBoiBoy catches the conversation the other two were currently having. It starts with Tsuyu asking Mineta, "Mineta-chan, did you really enter U.A. to become a hero?"

Hero. These three were working towards becoming heroes! BoBoiBoy realized. A feeling of familiarity washed over him. That means they're really on the same side right now!

Amidst his sudden epiphany, the brunette nearly misses Mineta's loud response. "Shut up! It's weirder to not be scared right now!"

"We were only in junior high until a little while ago! Who would've thought we would be almost killed right after starting school?! I wished I could've at least touched Yaoyorozu's boobs first!" Izuku and Tsuyu disregarded the short purple-haired boy's comments while BoBoiBoy stared blankly at him.

He couldn't help but find similarities of Gopal in Mineta (minus the last part which BoBoiBoy still didn't fully understand). The cowardice of facing something unknown. But unlike Mineta, Gopal had overcome that fear. And while he is still cowardly sometimes, at least he never left his friends behind and always fought by their side. Gopal fought even when fear overwhelmed him. Maybe Mineta will have that same overcoming?

Another sudden attack on the ship and the four teens snapped back to the present. Right. They had bigger things to worry about right now. And Izuku acted first.

"Tsuyu-san, take care of BoBoiBoy for a moment." He said, Tsuyu nodded in response as he left the brunette with the frog girl. The greenette swiftly moves forward to the railings of the ship, looking over and examining the enemies below whilst Mineta cowered in fear.

"When the enemy..." Izuku started. "When the enemy becomes certain of their victory, that will be our chance."

"All Might said so before on TV."

"What...?" BoBoiBoy heard Mineta mumble.

The greenette stared forward, putting on a brave face, even though he was trembling. "This is the only way to win!"

"AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!" Izuku yelled out, catching the villains' attention. "You serious, Midoriya?!" Mineta exclaimed as the greenette jumped up and off the ship.

"DIIIIEEEEE!!!" He shouted out.

D-Die...? 】 BoBoiBoy sweatdropped at the choice of words as he watched the greenette worriedly.

He could feel Tsuyu wrap an arm around his waist and look over to find Mineta also in the same position. "BoBoiBoy-chan. Mineta-chan." Tsuyu called out to them as they all watched Izuku suddenly change his position.

「 DELAWARE SMASH!!! 」 Izuku shouted as he flicked his finger which produced a massive wind pressure that hit the waters, creating a massive whirlpool that sucked almost every villain in.

"TSU-SAN!! MINETA-KUN!!" The greenette called out as Tsuyu jumped high in the air and grabbed Izuku by the waist using her tongue.

However, one villain managed to escape the whirlpool. Creating a huge hand of water, the villain attacked and landed a hit on Tsuyu. The frog girl lost her momentum and now they were falling.

As they fell, something caught Tsuyu's eye. The color orange floating in the water. Recalling the description BoBoiBoy had given about his lost cap, Tsuyu's eyes focused and she saw it! It was his dino cap! She turns to look at the said boy who seemed to be more concerned about them falling. Her eyes widened when she saw the once hazel eyes were now a blue hue.

Bracing for impact, the U.A. students gasp when they suddenly stop falling instead they . . . were flying?! All eyes turn to the suspected culprit of this situation.

The brunette's eyes glowed faintly as his face contorted in pain. It hurt. His head hurt; his body hurt. But that didn't matter to BoBoiBoy. He swore to protect them, and while he had a reputation of not being able to keep his promises, but he's not planning on breaking this one!

Turning to the escapee villain, BoBoiBoy shouted out, 【 WIND SPHERES ATTACKS!! 】 Balls of compressed wind appeared and shot towards the villain, throwing him back into the whirlpool with the other villains.

【 WHIRLING WIND!! 】 BoBoiBoy shouted, holding his hands out as the wind burst forward, aiming for the water and adding onto Izuku's previous attack to strengthen the whirlpool pull.

The three gaze fixed on the brunette, particularly Mineta who was in awe not only of BoBoiBoy but also of Izuku. "Even I... Even I can...!"

The short purple-haired boy shouts out a yell as starts pulling and throwing purple balls from his hair. The sticky balls mixed into the whirlpool, sticking onto the villains until all the villains got stuck together!

"If a strong force is applied to the surface of the water, it'll spread... and then converge back in the middle!" Izuku mutters as they watch the villains stuck together in the middle of the whirlpool fly into the air.

Tsuyu examined the scene, "Rounded everyone up at once. I guess it's like we've cleared the first hurdle." She said.

"You three are amazing!"

As gently as he could, BoBoiBoy landed them on the shore. Heaving and panting as his eyes returned to its original hazel color. "Thank you, BoBoiBoy-chan." Tsuyu said as she put something on top of the brunette's head.

Looking up and taking it off, a spark of recognition filled his eyes. "You found my cap! Thank you!" Tsuyu let out a happy ribbit in response as the brunette placed his cap on its rightful place-atop his head.

"I had a bowel movement this morning, so those things'll stick all day." Mineta said (TMI BoBoiBoy wanted to say), chuckling confidently as Izuku held his left hand, the greenette's face pained while muttering out loud.

Tsuyu was the one to point his mumbling out, "Midoriya-chan, stop that. It's scary."

"Rather than reflecting back, shouldn't we be deciding what to do next?" Izuku snapped out of his thoughts and bashfully nodded, "You're right..."

Meanwhile, BoBoiBoy looked at his new acquaintances. His brows furrowed when he saw why Izuku was cradling his left hand. The greenette's middle finger and thumb were broken! Searching the other two for any injuries, the brunette instinctively asked, "Are... Are you guys okay?"

His inquiry was met with confused looks and concerned ones too. "You should worry more about yourself, BoBoiBoy-chan. We're okay, don't worry." Tsuyu responded, pointing at him and his, honestly, worse state.

Izuku nodded in agreement, giving the brunette a smile of reassurance. "Yeah, don't worry BoBoiBoy-kun."

The brunette opened his mouth to protest, but his legs suddenly gave out and the next thing he knew, he was falling. "BoBoiBoy!" They yelled simultaneously with Izuku catching him before he could fall on his face.

Putting the brunette's arm around his neck, Izuku turned to his classmates. "Our number one priority should be calling for help."

"Especially since BoBoiBoy here is barely hanging on, I don't know how you've been staying awake till now. But we really need to get you some medical attention before your condition worsens."

BoBoiBoy didn't know either. He felt like he wanted to sleep for days but couldn't because the pain kept him awake. He didn't know whether that was good or not, but medical help sounded really good to his aching body right now.

"It would be best to follow the shore and avoid the central plaza as we head toward the exit." Izuku continued, pointing towards a set of stairs a few meters away from the central plaza.

Tsuyu looked towards the plaza. "Oh yeah, Aizawa-sensei is at the plaza holding back that giant group of Villains..." With that everyone turned to face the central plaza.

"...But there are too many villains." BoBoiBoy heard Izuku mutter softly, only loud enough for the two of them to hear.

"Of course, Aizawa-sensei is trying to suppress them... but I think he overexerted himself by jumping into that crowd of villains to protect us."

This Aizawa person was someone important. Someone on their side. BoBoiBoy concluded. Aizawa was alone and was fending off who knows how many villains. Maybe they could help... but with the injured brunette with them. They would just end up a liability.

"Eh...? Wait, Midoriya, don't tell me you... And with BoBoiBoy too!" Mineta said, realizing what the greenette was trying to imply. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" The short purple-haired teen repeated.

Izuku faced them, a look of determination on his face. "I'm not thinking of doing anything that'll get in his way." He turned back to the central plaza. That's where their teacher was fighting alone.

"But if we can just find an opening and lessen Sensei's load, even a little..." He trailed off as he bit his bottom lip.

---------

"Go."

All heads turned toward BoBoiBoy, who somehow managed to disentangle himself from Izuku's hold, and was now sitting up against a tree.

"Leave me here... I'll only drag you down. Go make sure... your sensei, was it? Go make sure he's okay..."

Izuku stared at the, once unfamiliar, boy. If he wasn't sure before, he was definitely certain now. 「 BoBoiBoy is not a Villain. 」 It seems so stupid to have assumed he was now. His eyes, even though tired, held gentleness and tenderness; his words, even though groggy, held genuineness and softness; and, his overall presence and aura, even in his state, held warmth and security.

Just who are you, BoBoiBoy?

With heavy eyes, the brunette starts to nod off, his tiredness slowly consuming him. Izuku rushed to his side in an instant. "We're not leaving you behind! You need to get to a hospital, and we're not gonna let you bleed out here!" The brunette's eyes shot open, and in one fell swoop, BoBoiBoy was now being carried on Izuku's back.

"We'll check on Aizawa-sensei and if he's doing fine, we'll head straight towards the exit." Flashing him a big wobbly smile, Izuku marched on forward with Tsuyu and Mineta following.

"Leaving a fellow hero behind, that doesn't sound like something a hero would do." Izuku exclaimed determinedly, Tsuyu and Mineta humming in agreement. With his gaze facing forward, Izuku misses the hint of pink dusting the brunette's cheeks and the small smile that spreads on his face.

"Thank you..."

"Hey, Midoriya, we're just here to see how things are going, okay?" Mineta reminded him as Tsuyu let out a croak in agreement, his voice trembled as they inched closer and closer to the plaza.

"I know." Izuku said, his hold on BoBoiBoy tightening.

They can't risk going into the fight with BoBoiBoy, so even if it goes wrong in some way, they can't intervene. "We'll run away the instant it seems dangerous."

After making their way carefully to the plaza, they halt at the sight of their teacher fighting. Despite being outnumbered, Eraser Head was managing incredibly well. The scene was so mesmerizing, they couldn't tear their eyes away. 「 Aizawa-sensei is so cool! 」 The three U.A. students thought to themselves.

"Awesome..." Izuku hears BoBoiBoy mutter, and he couldn't help but agree. To witness his homeroom teacher, a Pro Hero, in action right in front of him was definitely a sight to gape at.

So, of course, it was difficult for all four of them to hold back a scream as they watched the Pro Hero's elbow disintegrate till his muscles were seen. Of course, it was difficult to hold back a scream as they watched him get pummeled to the ground by a large villain. A crack echoed and they stared in horrified silence as the large villain snapped his arm the wrong way-breaking it.

The pale blue-haired villain with hands covered all over his body was saying something, but that all fell onto deaf ears. The only word sticking was Nomu. Petrified, the three U.A. students stood frozen in place. Their hearts racing; their breath quickening.

But . . . there was one who was able to move.

【 EARTH GOLEM!! 】 BoBoiBoy shouted out as loud as his aching throat allowed him to.

His voice caught everyone's attention and promptly snapped Izuku and his classmates back to the present. The brunette had somehow managed to disentangle himself again from Izuku, slamming his fists onto the solid ground immediately after yelling out.

The ground trembled and shook. For a moment, Izuku thought they were experiencing an earthquake. But as the floor behind the Nomu towering Eraser Head crumbled and broke when a large golem made of rocks erupted from the ground. Izuku knew that this was the work of a Quirk . . . but whose exactly?

His gaze flicked to BoBoiBoy whose hands were now covered in rocks like a sort glove. With wide eyes, he blinked. He wasn't imagining it, was he? But he swore the brunette's eyes were glowing a bright gold. Turning his eyes back at the golem and the Nomu, he lets out a gasp as he watches the golem rip the Nomu off of his teacher, a sigh of relief leaves from the three U.A. students.

BoBoiBoy was now the center of attention, even in his disheveled state, he was there in front of the three U.A. students with an arm stretched out to the side. He was trying to protect them . . . like he said he would.

Irritation was in the hand-covered villain's voice. This random NPC just came barrelling through out of nowhere and messed up his plans, and he was not happy about it, the villain scratching his neck so aggressively that it left red marks on his skin.

It looked like he was about ready to pounce on BoBoiBoy, but behind him, a familiar looking mist started to appear. 「 Shigaraki Tomura. 」 The said villain looked over his shoulder and in a raspy voice inquired, 「 Kurogiri, did you kill Thirteen? 」

「 I put the rescue hero out of commission, but there were students that I was unable to disperse, I'm afraid that one of the students was able to escape with his life. 」

The two villains argued with each other. Albeit, it was mostly one-sided with the hand-covered villain, Shigaraki, berating the Warp villain, Kurogiri. His aggressive scratching intensified before finally stopping.

「 We can't win against dozens of pros. 」 Shigaraki concluded with revulsion. Sighing out, his tone turned to a more saddened one. 「 It's game over. Aaagh... it's game over this time. 」

「 Let's go home. 」

"They're going home?" Mineta echoed in a whisper. "Did he say they're going home?" He asked no one in particular, but looked at the others for an affirmation.

Tsuyu was the one to reply, "That's what I heard."

Mineta celebrated in hushed tones, embracing Tsuyu beside him. "All right! We're saved!"

"Yes, but..." Tsuyu paused, her expression blanking when she felt Mineta embraced her a little too close for comfort. She, of course, instantly shoves the pervert's head under water, ignoring the wails and cries coming from him.

"I have a bad feeling about this, Midoriya-chan." Tsuyu said instead, a slight unease in her voice, and Izuku was feeling it too. "Yeah. For them to simply retreat after doing this..."

The same villains who wanted to kill All Might wanted to retreat? Surely, they know U.A. will just beef up their security if they leave like this.

Worried thoughts echoed in his mind-the whats and whys-but at the moment, he was more worried about the teen in front with arms stretched out to the sides as an attempt to shield and protect them.

BoBoiBoy... you're hurt... you barely even know us and yet you...

「 Oh, yeah. Before we leave... 」 The hand-covered villain started, effectively snapping Izuku out of his thoughts as Shigaraki turned to them with a sickening look on his face.

「 ...Let's smash some of his pride as the Symbol of Peace! 」

With one swift move, Shigaraki was dashing towards the three U.A. students, but someone wasn't about to let that happen. BoBoiBoy stepped into the villain's view, but that didn't deter him in the slightest. As a matter of fact, Shigaraki was expecting it.

「 Don't think I've forgotten about you, you random NPC! 」 He yelled out, reaching his hands out in front of him.

【 EARTH BARRIER! 】 BoBoiBoy shouted out as he pounded the ground with both of his fists, a wall of rocks erupting from the earth and effectively blocking the villain's advance.

That is until . . . the wall started to crumble to dust.

By the look on BoBoiBoy's face, Izuku could only assume that the brunette didn't get to see clearly how Shigaraki had disintegrated his teacher's elbow. Shock and horror was in the brunette's eyes, and soon terror filled Izuku as well. 「 Wait!! He's going to-

And right on cue, erupted from the other side with his hands out, Shigaraki's left hand firmly gripping BoBoiBoy's right hand's earth glove and his right hand reaching out to Tsuyu.

The earth glove started to crumble away, BoBoiBoy panicked as he tried to break away before he ended up with a missing hand. It continued to disintegrate, BoBoiBoy's hand almost fully exposed whilst Shigaraki managed to take hold of Tsuyu's face with his other hand.

But . . . the disintegration stopped . . . and BoBoiBoy's hand and Tsuyu's face were still intact.

Huffing out, Shigaraki looked over his shoulder, his eyes slitting as he said, 「 You really are cool... 」 Eyes followed his gaze to see . . .「 ...Eraser Head. 」

It was their teacher! His eyes glowing red as his hair floated up, but he was struggling to keep his eyes open. Then, in a blink of an eye the Nomu being restrained by the Earth Golem was behind him.

The large bio creature winds up for a punch. BoBoiBoy quickly rips his arm and pushes Tsuyu back, away from Shigaraki's grasp. Hitting the ground once again, before the Nomu could land a hit Eraser Head, the Earth Golem came out of nowhere and punched the Nomu away. The golem took the injured and now unconscious man in its arms and cradled him protectively.

All the while, Izuku was panicking. 「 Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap! 」 He repeated in his head as he jumped forward.

This villain was clearly different from the opponents they had encountered earlier. He needed to act now or else his classmates and BoBoiBoy would get hurt. Yelling out to the villain, Izuku powered up One For All and swung his smash with all his might.

And it hit! Strong winds gushed out everywhere, sending nearby villains flying, the waters and the ground trembled.

Maybe it was a bad idea to put himself out of commission by breaking his arm but . . . examining his arm closely, Izuku discovered another thing. 「 My arm isn't broken?! I'm finally able to control my power at a time like this?

He did it! He was able to get in a good smash except . . . As the dust cleared, he looked up and realized he didn't hit his intended target. And worst of all . . . 「 Wait, it didn't... hurt him...?

He couldn't believe it. Was this what they had meant when they said they had something that could kill All Might? Izuku's mind flashes back to all of the moments he had with his mentor. They might actually kill him, no way!

「 You move well. Your 'Smash'... Are you a follower of All Might's? 」 Shigaraki commented, staring at the horrified look on Izuku's face with a tinge of delight. 「 Oh well, I'm done with you. 」

The Nomu grabbed Izuku's arm, winding to punch him only to be intercepted by an earth pillar, forcing it to release its hold on him. The greenette turned to the others to see BoBoiBoy's right fist on the ground whilst his left hand was gripping onto Shigaraki's wrists, preventing the villian from touching Tsuyu and Mineta.

「 You insolent NPC!! 」 Shigaraki yelled out as he twisted his hand, his fingers touching BoBoiBoy's left hand's earth glove. The U.A. students watched in absolute horror, it was like time slowed down, as BoBoiBoy let out an ear-piercing scream.

"BOBOIBOY!!"

A loud boom echoed from the entrance, promptly catching everyone's attention, especially the villains, which gave Izuku enough time to rush to BoBoiBoy and pull him away from Shigaraki. The villain didn't spare them a second glance, only staring at the sight of a tall blond muscular figure in the distance.

「 It's fine now! 」 His voice rang heavy, reaching even from where they stood in the central plaza, relief washes over the students by the entrance. It was going to be okay because . . . 「 I am here! 」 All Might was here!

However . . . his presence didn't relieve all the students . . .

Hunched over the bleeding boy with shaky eyes, Tsuyu and Mineta stared at Izuku who held the brunette- no, their hero, teary-eyed.

"I'm okay... don't worry you guys..." BoBoiBoy whispered raspily, trying to reassure them, but it only made Izuku's tears spill. He screams out a cry, holding onto the brunette for dear life as the other two soon join albeit a little more quieter.

Amidst all the sobbing, no one registers what the hand-covered villain was saying, 「 Ah. Looks like our game's getting a continue. 」

And with that, this concludes the first chapter. I hope you enjoyed it!

Over 7000 words... maybe I was a bit too ambitious with this first chapter 😅. I had fun writing it though! Hopefully, I can write the next chapter and update soon.
