Days had passed since Ryu and Leone optioned the power of the Flame Extract. Night Raid was out at the nighttime in the Capital City and the two were walking around.

Ryu: So, if I heard right, we're looking for some crazy ex-executioner right?

Leone: Yup. This guy won't be like anything we've faced before.

Ryu: Hmm, coolsies, anyway I'm gonna go check out with there's a place in can get something fizzy to drink.

Leone: OOOH, bring me back something too!

Ryu walked through an alley and found a shop. He got two drinks that tasted similar to Mountain Dew.

Ryu: Sweet.

He began walking until he saw someone familiar in the alley in front of him. This was a girl with long pink hair and different colored eyes.

Ryu: 'Wait that's not right, I know she couldn't be here.'

Ryu closed his eyes and reopened them taking a deep breath before seeing a man in a trench coat with two blades on his wrist and an odd mechanical eyeball on his forehead. He knew exactly who he was but at that moment he didn't really care. Vanishing from the man's sight he reappeared in front of him back fisting his face and making him fly to where Leone was.

Leone: WHAT THE?!!

???: N-Not possible! He couldn't have seen through that mirage!

Leone: You're Zanku!

She stopped dead in her tracks feeling a wave of potent killing intent. This was caused by Ryu who put the drinks down walking over.

Ryu: So, I'm guessing the Marriage was from that Imperial Arms there.

Zanku: It doesn't make sense!! That was supposed to make someone see who they loved the most! No one could possibly be that cruel!!

Ryu was silent for a bit before a small chuckle came from him. That's when his eyes glowed.

Ryu: A ballsy move trying to torment my mind, so I'll tell you why it didn't work. One: It's because my eyes are able to see through any illusion, soon I'll pretty much be immune to them. Two: The woman I saw couldn't possibly be in the same world as me. And lastly-

He gained a crazed look as he transformed into his more Wolflike State.

Ryu: Even if she was here I'd kill her without a second thought. So now that you've seen someone I didn't wanna think about prepare to suffer.

Shojo: Ohhh he pressed the button.

Leone: Ahhhh Crap, you made him mad!

Ryu: Leone move out of the splash zone, I'm gonna start ripping him apart piece by piece.

Leone: R~RIGHT!!

The moved out of the way before Ryu quite literally began ripping him apart. He started with his fingers and toes, then his hands and feat, before ripping his arms and legs off, then finally his head.

Ryu: Few, that was a BIG stress reliever.

He took the Imperial Arms Spectator before burning the body.

Ryu: Jobs done, let's get the others and move out.

He grabbed the drinks and handed one to Leone who sipped it amazed.

Leone: Wow, this delicious!

Ryu: I know right?

At the Hideout

Ryu was breathing in and out launching fireballs at a river.

Sheele: You're really good at that Ryu. It's hard to believe you've only had your Imperial Arms for only a few days.

Ryu: Yeah well I'm used to playing with fire.

Tatsumi swam up from the lake with armor on.

Sheele: Congratulations, you learned how to swim in armor!

Ryu: Took you long enough. It really isn't that hard.

Ryu: Might be hellish but it toughens people up.

In her mind she saw Akame holding a knife as Ryu looked at her shaking his head.

Sheele: And I cause trouble for Bulat when I try to clean~... 'Bulat: Ahahaha! Just let me do it.'

Tatsumi: Oof.

Sheele: And... Leone laughed at at me when I brought sugar instead of salt.

Ryu could see the flashback of Leone laughing at the practical mountain of sugar.

Ryu: ... How?

Sheele: I tried laundry... But I sorta ended up washing Mine along with all of the dirty clothes,

Tatsumi: Ahhh don't feel too bad. 'Yes~, great job.'

Ryu patted her on the head hearing that.

Ryu: You're awesome for that last one.

Ryu sniffed the air before his eyes went bloodshot.

Ryu: DAMNIT AKAME YOU'RE GONNA OVERDUE IT ALL!!!

Ryu flew away back to the wideout kicking down the kitchen door and chopping Akame on the head as soon as he saw her.

Ryu: WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT TOO MUCH MEAT AT ONCE?!!

Lubbock: THANK YOU!!

Akame: But Ryu-

Ryu: I~ DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!! I TOLD YOU A TRUE CHEF MUST KNOW WHEN AND WHEN NOT TO COOK SOMETHING!!

Akame: I am sorry Sensei, I have failed you.

Leone and Najenda were looking at Ryu lecturing Akame while starting to prepare lunch at once.

Najenda: What in the world am I looking at.

Leone: That right there can only be described as crazy times Ryu.

Ryu: For fucks sake you might as well be putting someone who doesn't have a metabolism faster than a peregrine into a food coma!!

Akame was sitting down taking notes of what Ryu was saying.

Lubbock: He's taming the wild child WHILE cooking for everyone. He finished as he had a good amount of dishes with both meat and vegetables.

Ryu: Be balanced, don't focus on one thing so much you forget the basics.

Akame's mouth was almost watering as the other three were just as amazed.

Akame: Wh-What's the dish in the pan?

Ryu: That my small friend is one of the many types of a dish called Ratatouille.

He took a fork taking a bit before holding it to Akame.

Ryu: Try some.

Akame slightly sweated before gulping and bitting down of the fork. A few seconds of silence passed before her eyes glowed white and she fell onto the floor stiff with the happiest look on her face she ever had.

Lubbock: AKAME'S DOWN!!!

Leone: SHE LOOKS SO HAPPY!!

Najenda: Could it really be that good?

Najenda took a fork for herself before taking a bite. Immediately a look of joy spread across her face.

Bulat appeared from underwater shirtless and flexing.

Ryu: From what I gathered the guy was able to make me see an illusion for a quick second which is saying A LOT. He also seemed to know what move I was going for but it was completely useless since I moved so fast he couldn't keep up. I think it gives mind reading powers too, so all in all useless to me.

Akame: Yes, see if you can make it work.

He looked at Akame before Ryu turned his head.

He took the book from her hand and opened it.

Tatsumi flipped the page and saw the Flame Elixir.

Tatsumi: Ryu, this is the one you and Leone have right?

Ryu: Yup.

Najenda: You should memorize the details of every one in their.

Ryu took the book from Tatsumi before flipping through the pages from first to last.

Ryu: Done.

Najenda: You're joking.

Ryu: Nope, mesmerized. All 48 inanimate and organic Imperial Arms created by the Emperor of 1000 Years ago. Still way after the first me was around though.

Mine: What do you have a perfect memory?!!

Ryu: Well not exactly perfect but I can memorize something if I give a little effort which I don't like to.

Tatsumi looked at Ryu.

Najenda: It's either yours, or another one that allows someone to control Ice. The user isn't here right now thankfully. She's trying to conquer the people in the north.

Ryu: Yeah don't answer that, you're saying that this person could give me a challenge?

Najenda: Quite possibly, yes.

Ryu: Alright well she's going to be on my list.

A book and pen appeared in his hands as he looked to Najenda.

Ryu: What's her name?

Najenda: General Esdeath.

Ryu: Esdeath... Uses Ice... Could actually be... Good enough for a warmup... Alright down.

He threw the book and pen up as they disappeared.

Tatsumi: Well I say we find as many of them as we-

Ryu: Before you even finish that sentence, do you really think that it would be a good thing.

Tatsumi looked at Ryu with his eyes slightly wide.

Ryu: No I read people. It's impossible to bring the dead back to life.

Bulat: Oh honey... Not even an Imperial Arms can bring the dead back to life Tatsumi.

Akame: If the first emperor could have done that he'd still be alive.

Ryu: Gods in my world could, but one would get in the way of the other time and time again. Now they're nowhere to be found.

They all looked at him confused.

Ryu: My Dimension is fucked up ok. All I can say is don't weep for the dead, you'll be crying all day. Trust me.

They all looked at his solemn face.

Ryu: I've been there.
