The Night Raid members were running through the forest.

Ryu: So, you said there's gonna be a few of these random assassins around here Lubbock?

Lubbock: Yeah, no doubt.

They split up with Ryu going with Leone.

Ryu: So Tits McGee I was meaning to ask you something.

Leone: Shoot!

Ryu: What's with the Lion body parts? I keep noticing you always change when we start fighting.

Leone: This is my Imperial Arms, Lionelle!

Ryu: The hell's that mean?

Leone: It means it powers me up a lot! My strength and senses go up like crazy and I can even regenerate!

Ryu: Huh, kinda like me.

Leone: What?

Ryu: Nothing. By the way, eleven of them O'clock.

Ryu stopped as arrows were shot at them. He dodged every one of them barely moving 2 feat and caught one that was headed at his face before throwing it back earning a squelch.

Ryu: Right through the heart.

They both ran forward before starting to fight.

Leone: Man taking down these guys with you in fun!

Ryu: Yeah I guess but-

Ryu kicked one in a vital area making his heart stop with a bored look.

Ryu: If they die from just a single hit it gets so boring~.

Leone was pounding on a few looking back at him.

Leone: Huh, I guess your right. When there's not enough strong ones you must feel like it's a snooze fest.

Ryu: *Sigh* You said there were going to be strong opponents to face but it's only been weaklings so far.

He punched the last one killing him.

Ryu: -_- At this point the only reason I've stuck around is cause I pretty much gave my word to help.

Leone: Didn't think you'd care.

Ryu: I'm m not a good guy, but I have some morals that I stick to.

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu was asleep as for once he felt almost at peace with himself. In a dream he was looking at his hands as the world seemed to be brighter to him. He felt a tap on his shoulder turning around seeing the rest of Team RRANJR. He smiled with tears running down his face as he tried to reach out to them but was abruptly woken up they the sound of a giant explosion making him shoot up from bed. He saw a hole was in this room as his eyes where bloodshot.

Ryu: WHOEVER DID THAT HAS FIVE SECONDS TO PRAY!!!

The shirtless Ryu went to the source of the laser which was Mine who held her Gun Pumpkin and was also only in her underwear.

Ryu: MINE!!!

Mine: LOOK AWAY!!!

Ryu: ONLY WHEN YOU'RE DEAD!!!

A weapon appeared in his hand as it was definitely a large one.

CRUNCH BITE!

He started firing bullets as mine ran out the room and saw Tatsumi.

Mine: WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU KNOCK FIRST?!!

Tatsumi: WHY DID YOU SLEEP IN SO LATE?!!!

Ryu stopped firing bullets angry.

Ryu: Grrr, that was gonna be the nicest dream I've had in fucking forever you ruined it!

He snapped his fingers as he was fully clothed before walking past the two clearly annoyed. He went to the table growling.

Najenda: Ah, good morning Ryu.

Ryu: Hi, kindly stuff it boss.

Sheele: Hey, where'd you get that weapon?

Leone: Yeah, I've never seen one like it. Is it an Imperial Arms?

Ryu: I barely even know what those are, so no.

Leone: Well Ryu since the boss hasn't assigned you to anyone else I guess we should go head a train today!

Ryu: Train? Me? Really? What the hell could you possibly train me in that I can't already do better?

Leone: You can do sharpen up those instincts! You still seem pretty new to fighting and killing.

Ryu looked at her as a dark smirk crept onto his face.

Ryu: Don't be so sure.

They all jolted up seeing that before he went back to normal.

Ryu: I don't say that I've killed too many people cause I want to be cocky. Now wake me up whenever you're ready to go.

Instantly his head thumbed onto the table as he fell back asleep.

Leone: Eh heh~, you both felt that too right?

Sheele: I think.

Najenda: That was killing intent, and not a small amount of it either. He definitely has some kind of experience to be able to show so much and make it completely vanish without a trace on command.

Akame looked from the kitchen.

Akame: Who are you Ryu?

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu was yawning as he and Leone were out on the grassy hill.

Ryu: *Sigh* Why did you drag me out here again Leone?

Leone: Cause we're gonna start training!

Ryu: *Yawn* Fine, I'll play along. What are we gonna be working on today Master Tits McGee?

Leone: Today we'll be working on hand to hand combat! Or more specifically sparing and martial arts.

Ryu: Pfft, alright let's pretend I haven't already memorized every killing technique in the book, what exactly are you gonna show me?

Leone activated her Imperial Arms as she bounced up and down.

Leone: How about you come and find out tough guy.

Ryu shrugged his shoulders getting into a completely nonchalant fighting stance.

Ryu: Alright fine. Here I come.

He leapt to Leone who seemed to be prepared to attack back. Surprising Ryu she palmed his chin actually making him go up enough for her to grab his shirt and hit his throat. Ryu landed on his feet as Leone seemed smug. That WAS until she saw that Ryu was fine and she reeled her hand back in pain.

Leone: OW OW OW!!

Ryu: Ok, not gonna sit here and lie, you actually got me there.

Leone: What are you made of?!! It felt like I hit a God damn brick wall!!

Ryu: I've caught bullets before genius, that's nothing.

Leone: Argh! Well, that's mostly something I wanted to show you. Get too overconfident and that'll leave you open. Though being a freak like you might just negate that entirely.

Ryu: Yeah yeah I've heard the song and dance a MILLION times already. Now since this is still technically a spar, get ready for my counter attack.

Leone: HEY HEY WAIT A SEC!!

She got back up immediately ready to fight.

Leone was on ground exhausted while also deadpanning.

Leone: -_-

Ryu looked over her with a smug smirk.

Ryu: So, round 200 until you get another hit on me sound good?

Leone: I think having my butt handed to me 199 times is where I call it quits.

She went back to normal as Ryu took note of it.

Ryu: So, how many of these Imperial Arms are there?

Leone: Hold on, why do you wanna know that?

Ryu: Cause it seems interesting.

Leone: Well, there used to be 48 of them but almost half of them were lost centuries ago.

Ryu: I see. What do you think can count as one of the strongest?

Leone: One of them? Hmmm... Well there might be one that really fits your style that the boss knows.

Ryu: Let's go.

He grabbed Leone before teleporting right to Najenda.

Najenda: Ryu, Leone, what is it?

Ryu: Tits McGee over here says that you might know where to find and Imperial Arms that suits me.

Najenda: Oh good grief. Well I suppose you'll be bugging me all day if I don't tell you, but yes. This Imperial Arms is one of the only two like it.

Ryu: So, spill it.

Najenda: In a forest a few hours away from here lies a cave. In that cave lies an Elixir Imperial Arms of sorts: The Hell Blaze Extract. It's said that just a drop on ones tongue can grant someone the abilities of a Fire Beast. A sip can allow you to use flames so hot it can melt steel. There's no telling what might happen if you have a good gulp.

Ryu: Leone we're going on a road trip.

Leone: HUH?!!

Najenda: There are two catches though. One is that the forest is crawling with powerful Danger Beast, and the other is that anyone who doesn't have the strength in body or resolve will burn into flames if they drink it.

Ryu: Yeah I've got it covered let's go Leone.

Leone: WHY ARE YOU DRAGGING ME ALONG?!!

Ryu: Because the thirsty ass readers love the fan service you bring.

TIME SKIP!!

FAR IN THE MOUNTAINS!!

Ryu was flying in the air with Leone and his back.

Leone: I still can't believe you can actually fly! And you're sure you don't have an Imperial Arms already?

Ryu: Yup. I'm just looking for that one so I can increase my abilities.

Leone: You have more?

Ryu: Yeah, but frustrating enough they're not really at the level of someone I used to know.

He thought of a young man with black and white hair.

Leone: Wait, there's someone that's stronger than you?

Ryu: Hey, I never said that exactly, I haven't seen him in a while but it was only his flames that were stronger, everything else he could do I did better.

He saw a danger beast approaching them before he brought out Crunch Bite slicing it in half.

Leone: Uhhh Ryu, I think I found it.

They looked a cave that was on fire before Ryu smirked. He went down as they landed.

Ryu: Hopefully drinking the hole thing can give me flames hotter enough to burn everything.

Leone: YOU'RE GONNA DRINK IT ALL?!!

Ryu: That's the plan.

The pair walked into the cave as other Danger Beast tried to attack.

Leone: RYU WATCH-

Ryu flared at all of them causing each beast to stop and cower before him. Leone seeing this sweat dropped before slightly blushing.

Leone: Talk about an alpha male!

They walked deeper in and found the Extract bloody red extract in a golden cup surrounded by lava.

Ryu: There it is.

Leone: So we jumping?

Ryu: No need.

Ryu rose his hand as wind swirled around the chalice before it floated over to Ryu.

Ryu: See?

Leone: What are you The Avatar?

Shojo: Oh good grief the fourth wall is gone.

Ryu: Leave making references to me... Wait how do you even... Ugh fuck it.

Leone: Boss said a drop on your tongue can give you a bit of the power right? Can I try just a TINY bit?

Ryu looked over at her before holding the chalice to Leone. She hesitantly poked two fingers in feeling the heat.

Leone: Ow, like hot water yeah.

She looked at a small drop of what was effectively blood on her finger as she steeled herself before looking at Ryu.

Leone: Together on three?

Ryu: *Sigh* Yup. Badlands Booker, I channel your chug strength.

Leone: 3.

Ryu: 2.

Ryu/Leone: 1.

Leone licked her fingers as Ryu quickly chugged the entire thing in the span of 3 whole seconds. Keep in mind that the chalice was about the size of two basketballs, which roughly translated to over a gallon. He dropped it look at Leone.

Ryu: Uhhh, you feel anything?

Leone: Mmmm, nothing ye-

As soon as she said a scorching pain filled her body body making her scream out in agony.

Leone: ARGHHH!!!!!

Ryu: Shit the must not be a-

Right then Ryu started feeling the pain himself.

Ryu: YUP!! THAT SHITS NOT A JOKE!

Shojo: Sheesh! I can feel the heat and I'm a spirit.

They both began to sweat as Ryu took off his jacket before punching the ground.

Ryu: 'Sh-Shit! This thing is putting my body through so much hell I can't even crack the ground with a punch!'

Leone looked at Ryu shocked but unable to show it due to the pain.

Leone: 'D-Damn, if I'm in this much pain from a drop, then Ryu must feel like he's enduring the worse beat down of his life.'

Ryu's gritted his teeth before the pain slowly began to fade. He got up looking at his fist.

Ryu: Phew. Never felt pain like that before. And both of my arms have be shattered before.

Leone got up groggily.

Leone: I feel like I was being chewed up and spat out by a gang of dogs.

Ryu: Well you test out if the flames worked or not first.

Leone: Ok, here goes!

She held her hand out as a bright yellow flame appeared.

Leone: COOL!! IT REALLY DID WORK!!

Ryu: Alright, my turn then.

Ryu took in a deep breath before he pulled his hand back and punched causing pure white flames to shoot out like a flame thrower easily melting rocks it nearer.

Ryu: Huh, you know I came to this dimension searching for stronger opponents, but I wasn't trying to make myself even more overpowered than I already was.

Leone: Ummm... You wanna run that by me again.

Ryu/Shojo: O_O

Ryu: FUUUCK.

ONE LONG EXPLANATION LATER!!

Leone: So you're a "Huntsman" from a different that's filled with monsters ruled by an evil woman who's been controlling you for a month now?

Ryu: Yup~.

Leone: ... You know, that's both really weird and awesome!

Ryu's eyes slightly widened.

Ryu: Huh, you're actually... Really calm about this. You sure you're ok Leone?

Leone: Of course I am!

Ryu: Yeah but, you are looking at someone who's killed hundreds, some for his own sick and twisted amusement. And it's not for a good cause.

Leone: Yeah, but I'm an assassin so I'm no better. Nothing we do at Night Raid is justified. And plus, if what you're saying is true, than you were a good person!

Ryu: *Sigh* Man, you're older but still act so childish.

Leone: I'm 21!!

Ryu gave a smile.

Ryu: Let's go.
