Daki looked at Ryu shocked as she saw his eyes.

Ryu: 'Wait why'd her name change? Was there a flashback I didn't see?!'

Daki: Those eyes...

Ryu realized what had happened as he began to sweat.

Ryu: Uhhhh... Bye.

Daki: You won't-

He vanished out of thin air and appeared next to Tengen Zenitsu and Inosuke.

Zenitsu: Ryu!

Tengen: Why did you leave?!

Ryu: A mixture of one: My pride, Two: My instinct to not stand by and let someone be wrongly hurt, and Three: Accidentally showing my strength to the Upper Moon Demon that disguised as a human.

Inosuke: So it was an Upper Moon!! You were right Flamboyance God!!

Tengen: You're right but not so loud! People are gonna think we're insane!

Ryu: Anyway look away if you're squeamish.

Ryu took a breath in steeling his nerves.

Ryu: I fucking hate when I have to do this.

Ryu slid to the side of the rooftop and began to physically and painfully change. His arm bones seemed to pop out of place before the rest of his body followed suit. His hair became more red and shorter as he grew to his normal size once again. Instantly he switched his clothes out while he changed as finally he was back to normal taking out the contacts in his eyes. He stretched painfully as bones started to crack and pop into place.

Ryu: Arghh, I feel like I just got chewed up and spit out three times and then burned...

The Demon Slayers saw the grotesque sight as Zenitsu nearly lost his lunch and Inosuke took off his boar mask to cover his mouth. Tengen was just in awe and shock unable to produce words.

Ryu: And before you even ask, yes, yes I have gone through a woman's "Time of the month". And even though it wasn't as bad as a woman may say, it was no fucking joke.

Tengen: ... I give you my WORD, I'll never ask you to do anything like that ever again.

Ryu: Good. Cause changing my body structure more than a day a YEAR is a no no for me. I have morals.

Inosuke: Wait, can you make yourself huge like a monster?!

Ryu: FUCK NO!!! I CAN CHANGE INTO A GIRL AND THAT'S ALL I NEED!!!

???: So are you gonna realize the fact we're here?

They all turned seeing Ruby and Tanjiro -who was traumatized seeing Ryu do what he did-.

Tanjiro: H-How do you even do that?!

Ryu: It was a VERY dark point in my life...

Ruby: Well anyway, there was a Demon in the house I was at too. It was like a really long sash when I was it.

Tengen: I think I might have put you three boys in terrible danger.

Ruby: Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, I think it'd be better for you guys to get out of here.

Tanjiro: What?! You can't be serious!

Tengen: Don't be ashamed. Winners stay alive. Don't mess this opportunity up.

The Hashira had disappeared leaving the three teenagers.

TIME SKIP!!

Ruby was lurking around searching around for wherever Tengen's wives were.

Ruby: 'Where could the Demon be hiding them. And more importantly why did Ryu say he sensed another Demon? Could it just be that Muzan guy or is it something else?'

She noticed night had risen with her guard going all the way up.

Ruby: Great, so the Upper Moon can come out to play now.

She heard the sounds of crashing looking up seeing Tanjiro was hit through a wall.

Ruby: That idiot!!

Ruby was about to jump in before Ryu's words echoed in her mind.

FLASHBACK!!

Ruby: What do you mean there's something special about Tanjiro?

Ryu and Ruby were walking at night as the former swung blood off his Katana.

Ryu: When I saw him fighting the Lower Moon I killed, he was using that Hinokami Kagura dance he mentioned on the Mugen Train. Up til then I only ever saw him use Water Breathing.

Ruby: So he has two different forms like us. What about it?

Ryu: There was something about him when I saw him fight. I just couldn't tell since I saw at the last minute. But every once in a while I find someone in the world that could actually become a challenge. And even though it may not be for me this time, it could be for you.

Ruby: Me?

Ryu: You'll know if you see him fight.

FLASHBACK OVER!!

Ruby: ... I'll jump in last second.

Ruby let go of her scythe and watched in the shadows.

Daki: You're still alive. Hmmm. You got more bone than I thought.

He stopped at the window she knocked Tanjiro through.

Daki: Pretty eyes there. I'll just gouge them out and eat them.

Tanjiro took Nezuko's box off his back.

Tanjiro: Sorry Nezuko. I loosened the strap. I can't fight with this on my back. Don't get out of the box. Not unless your own life is in danger.

Tanjiro leapt forward to Daki as she did the same.

Tanjiro: Breath of Water: Fourth Form!

Daki's scarfs went towards Tanjiro as he readied his blade.

Tanjiro: Striking Tide: CHAOS!!

He slashed some of the scarf as blood seemed to come from it.

Ruby: 'Is that stuff apart of her body?

She looked at the piece of the sash seeing someone was in it.

Ruby: 'Wait, if someone's in there, then that could mean Uzui's wives are trapped somewhere too.'

Daki: You're cute. But ugly. Now don't get too attached. You're like a rat who's about to die.

ELSEWHERE!!

Ryu had cut apart sashes as Tengen had a woman in his arms.

HINATSURU!!

Tengen: Once the antidote takes effect, get out of Yoshiwara, understood?

He hugged her close.

Hinatsuru: Okay...

Ryu: Uzui, a battles already started.

Tengen: I know. We have to move.

They ran out as they stopped in the middle of the street.

Ryu: Right here.

They both grabbed their blades readying their forms.

Ryu: Magma Breathing: 1st Form!

Tengen: Sound Breathing: 1st Form!

Ryu/Tengen: Scorching Slash/Thunder!!

They swung the blades down causing an explosion.

BACK TO THE FIGHT!!

Daki: These bugs are an eyesore. What was that sound?

She looked to Tanjiro.

Daki: How many of you came here? 6?

Tanjiro: Not saying.

Daki: If you tell me the truth, I could let you live. We clashed a little just now, and your blade is already chipped. Whoever forged that thing must be a pretty crappy blacksmith.

Tanjiro: NO!! THE ONE WHO FORGED THIS BLADE IS AN AMAZING PERSON!! HE'S A SUPER SKILLED BLACKSMITH!!

Ruby: 'It's either that or Tanjiro is still to weak. That or both.'

Daki: Then why is it chipped dumb ass? You're beginning to quiver all over the place. You're getting on my nerves now, so I'll kill you with my next blow.

Daki went forward to Tanjiro as Ruby noticed an instant change. As soon as the scarfs attacked Tanjiro he reacted with a form new to Ruby.

Tanjiro: Dance of the Fire God: Scorching Crimson Mirror!!

He cut the cloths in seconds shocking Daki and Ruby.

Ruby: 'So that's what Ryu meant. He is special. And that Hinokami Kagura actually was Sun Breathing. The Original Breath...'

Tanjiro leapt forward and went on the offensive.

Tanjiro: 'Flame Waltz!'

Daki aimed a strike at Tanjiro's neck but he vanished surprising even Ruby.

Ruby: 'That one must use great eye sight against you. If it's his first time fighting it even Ryu would get caught up by it.

Tanjiro was behind Daki upside down.

Tanjiro: 'An opening! FIRE CHARIOT!!'

The opening didn't last long however as Daki flung him back with an attack.

Ruby: 'Shoot, he nearly got her!'

Tanjiro tried to correct himself mid air but seemed like he couldn't as he rolled on the ground multiple times. Before Daki was able to land a killing blow however he got back to his feet dodging as they clashed once again. He seemed to pant being exhausted as Ruby noticed it as well.

Ruby: 'Is Tanjiro raising his body temperature? That's dangerous, it could get him killed.'

They kept fighting but after a few moments more sashes went into Daki's body.

Ruby: 'Are Ryu and Uzui doing that?'

She noticed Daki's hair had turned white alarming the rose headed girl.

Ruby: Ohhh no...

Another person had come out of a house as Ruby internally panicked.

Ruby: 'CRAP!! CAN'T HIDE NOW!!'

Ruby had leapt out and appeared in front of Tanjiro seeing the buildings began to be slashed.

Ruby: 'Inferno Breathing: 4th Form.'

She grabbed her scythe spinning it in front of her as black and red flames surrounded it.

Ruby: 'Blaze Guard!'

She shielded the two from the attack as Tanjiro was shocked to see her.

Tanjiro: RUBY?!!

Ruby looked back at Tanjiro with a smile.

Ruby: You did great Tanjiro.

Daki looked at Ruby smiling.

Daki: Finally, a Hashira is here. And it's a cute girl too.

Ruby looked at Daki seeming to be angry.

Ruby: I saved the two of them, but you have no idea how many peoples lives you just ruined.

Ruby walked forward dragging her scythe along the ground.

Ruby: You Demons have no care for human life and I'm getting sick of it.

Ruby disappeared as Daki seemed shocked.

Daki: She's fast!

Ruby appeared behind her as she barely avoided getting her head chopped off as it was in exchange for an ear. Ruby glowed in a silver aura as she seemed angry with the light of the moon shining behind her. Soon after Tanjiro jumped onto the roof seeming different as well.

Tanjiro: Lives that have been lost will never come back. They won't ever return.

Daki seemed angry as her ear regenerated.

Tanjiro: Living breathing creatures do not ever go the way of Demons. Why do you take them? Why do you trample on peoples lives?

Daki: 'Those words, I've heard them somewhere before.'

For Daki a tall man seemed to replace Tanjiro.

Ruby: You were human once. You knew how precious life was. You'll pay for what you've done.

Daki: I couldn't care less now! I'm a Demon and we don't age! And Lord Muzan saw it fit to give me more of his blood especially for this occasion!!

Ruby and Tanjiro done listening rushed forward to Daki as sashes surrounded them.

Daki: Blood Demon Art: Multi Layered Sash Slash!!!

They were about to close in on the two as Tanjiro had taken action to prevent it.

Tanjiro: 'Dance of the Sun God: Burning Sun!!'

He slashed the sashes around them actually paining Daki.

Daki: 'What is this? The part that got slashed feels like it's burning. I can't regenerate well. If this kid wasn't enough-'

Ruby: 'Inferno Breathing: 5th Form.

She spun her body along with her scythe spinning in the opposite direction with flames extending out and cutting off Daki's arm.

Daki: 'With a Hashira here as well I'm barely having time to get away!!'

Ruby went in again as her scythe hit Daki's neck. However it bent like the sashes as Ruby gritted her teeth.'

Ruby: Just great.

Daki: There's no way my head will ever be cut off by the likes of you..!!

Daki seemed to attack while they were close as Tanjiro got slashed but backed up in avoid fatal injuries. Ruby however was shielded by her aura as she cut off Daki's arms making her jump back.

Ruby: Tanjiro, can you tell?

Tanjiro: Yeah.

They both ran forward as Daki sent sashes at them once again. This time Ruby served as the bait as she parried at the sashes and stuck them into the ground.

Daki: 'OH NO!!'

In the blink of an eye Tanjiro sliced them and was in front of Daki to cut off her neck faster than it could bend. Before that could happen Tanjiro gasped an the marks on him receded with him coughing violently.

Ruby: TANJIRO!!

Ruby was about to try and move but found that she couldn't and was in pain as well falling to a knee.

Ruby: 'Argh!! What the heck is going on?!'

She saw the sliver aura around her body flickering as she soon realized what was happening.

Ruby: 'Did my eyes do it? Am I in pain because I'm not used to this?'

Ruby tried to force herself to move but couldn't.

Ruby: 'Ok pain method it is!'

She was about to bite her tongue but saw that Daki was kicked hard. This was caused by Nezuko who was absolutely livid.
