Ryu: Trust me dude you're better off joining up. Just say something to him.

Sheele: Well since we showed you location of our hideout-

He glasses shone as she gained a eerily stoic tone.

Sheele: If we can't convince you to join then you'll be dead.

Tatsumi: Uhhhh is that supposed to be encouragement or a threat?

Ryu: It's a matter of perspective really.

Sheele: Just give it plenty of thought okay?

Ryu two boys looked at the book in her hands.

Ryu: 'Mending your air headed ways...'

Tatsumi: 'Oh my God these guys are a bunch of circus freaks-'

???: AGAIN WITH THIS LEONE?!!

They looked and saw mine.

Ryu: Bitch you better not say a damn thing cause you saw me kill everyone who came our way last night.

Mine: I... Well yeah you sorta proved yourself yesterday but-

Ryu: Tatsumi do not pay attention to a single word she says. I promise you it'll be a migraine and a half.

They walked out to the training field.

Leone: Right not target Ryu, look who's out here already trying to work up a sweat. That's Bulat.

Tatsumi was amazed the the intensity of Bulat's swings with the wooden spear. He stopped and turned seeing the three.

Bulat: Ohhh! Aren't you the fellow we picked up the other day?

Tatsumi: Wait, how do you know about that?

Ryu: He was there, just in armor.

Tatsumi: Oh, that makes sense.

They shook hands with Ryu looking at Tatsumi.

Leone: And yeah, like Ryu said, he's gay.

Tatsumi slightly froze hearing that.

Bulat laughed while gaining the same fruity look he had with Ryu yesterday.

Ryu: 'Homophobic people are angry right now.'

At a Lake

Lubbock: Hehe, it's almost time for Leone's bath~. Man I'd give just about anything for a sneak peek at that smoke'n hot body!

Ryu and Leone who were behind him with Tatsumi deadpanned.

Leone: -_- In that case.

Lubbock: !!!

Ryu: -_- Give up two fingers.

Lubbock scream turning around being met by Ryu's backhand making him spin. That's when Leone grabbed his fingers stomping on his back.

Leone: You never learn do you? Next time I'll break your arm.

Lubbock: OWW!!!

Leone: This is Lubbock, as you can see he's an idiot.

Ryu: Tatsumi, learn from these kinds of mistakes. If you ever want a girl, then don't peep. Works for me.

They confusedly walked as the sun started to set.

Leone: Let's see who's next?

Tatsumi: I don't know how many more I can take.

Ryu: How about the quiet one?

Leone: Oh, speak of the Devil, there she is stuffing her face over there. Hey Akame.

They all saw her eating at a fire as the was a giant bird looking creature.

Ryu: ... Nani the fuck?

Tatsumi: And then there's this freak- And I only NOW realize that she's eating a giant bird. Did she kill that thing herself?!

Leone: Akane' sour resident wild child, much like Ryu's the now resident destruction maniac.

Akame: Leone, Ryu, have some.

She passed big pieces of meat to the two as Ryu caught his in his mouth.

Leone: Thanks.

Ryu chewed it surprised.

Ryu: Huh, this is actually really good. Thanks.

Akame looked at Tatsumi.

Akame: Well? Have you joined us yet?

Tatsumi: Uh..... No.

Akame: Then I'm sorry but I won't be sharing any of my dinner with you.

Tatsumi: I'm ok with that!

She munched on the end of a bone.

Ryu: Huh, this girl eats almost as much as me.

Leone: Is it me or is everyone a little extra jacked up today?

Akame: That's because the boss is back.

Tatsumi: Huh? The boss?

Ryu: Oh that's who that one is.

He pointed to the other side of the meat as it was directed to a woman with short white hair a mechanical arm.

Leone: Boss!

???: Hey.

Leone: Welcome back! Did you bring me anything good?

Ryu could hear the slight tint of worry in her voice confused as she kept walk by forward.

???: Now why would I do that? About one of your most recent assignments, I was told you completed it three days overdue.

Leone: Ah~ CRAP.

He turned the other way sprinting before the arm on the woman extended and grabbed her by the scarf.

Ryu: Hm.

???: Anyway, tell me about these two.

Leone: Oh that's right! They're gonna be joining us! Ryu already helped out a bunch with the mission yesterday!

???: So I can assume he's the one that blew up the base?

Ryu: Got a problem with it?

???: Well, not really. I'm Najenda by the way.

NAJENDA!!

Leone: Dude, it is seriously not a good idea to mouth off to her!

Ryu: I've dealt with way worse, believe me.

TIME SKIP!!

Everyone had caught Najenda up to speed.

Najenda: Thank you, I think I understand the situation here. Tatsumi, Ryu, how would you-

Ryu: I said yes already.

Najenda: Good! You?

Tatsumi: You're gonna kill me if I refuse to join right?

Ryu: Nah, just pretty much make you work as a slave.

Najenda: Yes, we just implore you to join.

Tatsumi: I-

Ryu: I can guess you're about to say you just wanted to make a lot of money for your village and some mumbo jumbo like that, so I'll stop you. Just say yes, it'll help bring things into order and help your village in the process too. And this isn't exactly some small operation with just the few of us.

Najenda: Yes, we have help from the Revolutionary Army-

Ryu: 'One Piece anyone?'

Ryu blocked out all the unimportant parts to him -Which was practically everything Najenda said- before hearing something VERY hilarious to everyone, all accept Akame.

Tatsumi: It's like you guys are taking out the trash! Killing all the bad guys one by one. You're a rogue team of assassins for the sake of justice!

Everyone aside from Akame started laughing loudly with Ryu finding this the most comical.

Tatsumi: What did I say?! Why'd everyone laughing?

Ryu: Ahhhh, Tatsumi, just look at me. Do I look or act like I'm for any type of justice? I have killed too many people to be anything less than chaotic neutral.

Tatsumi: ...

Leone: Tatsumi, no matter how you describe it, we're still murderers.

Sheele: And there's no justice to be found in the way we do things.

Bulat: Any given moment, every one of us can be forced to atone for the blood that we've spilled.

Najenda: Every team member fights for a different reason, but each bares a strong resolve.

Ryu: 'Uhhh well if you count searching for opponents to challenge me a strong resolve then yeah.'

Najenda: Are you prepared to risk your life?

Tatsumi: You guys are gonna pay me for this aren't you?

Ryu grabbed two random sacks of gold from his pocket throwing it over to Tatsumi.

Ryu: If they don't I will.

Tatsumi: THEN I'M GONNA DO IT! PLEASE ALLOW ME TO BE APART OF NIGHT RAID!!

Mine: Your probably-

Ryu: Shut the fuck up.

Mine: I didn't even say half of my sentence!!

Ryu: And that's less strain on my ears.

Tatsumi: I know I'm not gonna be some hero, but it doesn't matter to me as long as they'll be taken care of.

Najenda: Works for me. Prepare yourself for a life unlike any other! Welcome to Night Raid. You're dismissed for the night. Akame, you're in charge of training Tasuku for the now, and Leone, you do your best with Ryu.

Leone: The big guy over here definitely isn't gonna need training, he's practically a walking tank!

Ryu: Try a walking Demon.

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu and Tatsumi were cooking as the former seemed to have a deadpan.

Ryu: I feel like these idiots enjoy my cooking a bit too much.

Mine: I said I want seconds!

Bulat: Oh, me too!!

Lubbock: Yeah same here!

Sheele: Oh yes if you don't mind.

Ryu: These will be thirds! Yo Tatsumi bring em over.

Tatsumi: Yeah.

He brought the food over to them as they all ate.

Bulat: Man this is something else Ryu!

Akame was enjoying it the most as she showed the most emotion on her face Ryu had ever seen.

Akame: Where on earth did you learn how to cook like this?!

Ryu: Oh, just a talent.

Shojo: One you've had since the first you was born.

TIME SKIP!!

The next day Ryu and Tatsumi were in the kitchen as Akame watched as she was next to Ryu.

Ryu: *Sigh* What is it Akame?

Akame: I didn't say anything.

Ryu: You want me to teach you how to cook as well as I can don't you?

Akame: ... Yes please.

Mine: Oh look, you two are right at home in the kitchen aren't you rookies?

Tatsumi: WHAT?!!

Bulat: Later sunshine's.

Tatsumi: Bulat? Wait a sec, are you guys headed out of a mission?

Bulat: Yeah, this one's a special request.

Tatsumi: Shouldn't we come too?

Mine: You stay here in the kitchen! Now you both be- AH!!

She dodged a knife head at her head courtesy of Ryu.

Ryu: You all have five seconds to get lost before I become Dio. Four. Three-

Lubbock: Look what you did mine!!

Ryu: Two. One.

They looked at Ryu as many knives appeared in front of him.

Bulat: HE'S GOT DOZENS!!

Bulat was the first one to book it away as Ryu threw the knives making everyone run. As soon as they were gone he let out a sigh of relief.

Ryu: *Sigh* 3 less headaches.

Tatsumi: Wait three?

Ryu: Yeah, Sheele's cool, I vibe with her.

Akame: How do you exactly vibe with someone?

Tatsumi: He means that she's someone he can enjoy spending time with.

Ryu: 'How he knows that I won't question.'

Shojo: It IS a different world.

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu and Tatsumi where outside the hideout both wearing cloaks.

Ryu: You ready?

Tatsumi: Yeah, you go after the oil merchant, and I'll be fighting Ogre.

Ryu: Try not to be a waste of space and die.

Tatsumi: HEY!

Ryu: Notice how I didn't say you were a waste of space right now.

Ryu started walking before suddenly stopping.

Ryu: Also, if it means anything, Akame probably isn't nearly as cold as you make her seem. She's definitely got history we don't know about.

That's when he was gone in a flash leaving Tatsumi confused. A few minutes had passed before he was at a Japanese Style mansion.

Ryu: Ohhh I'm raiding this place before I blow it up.

He flew up into the air before holding out his hand. That's when he closed his eyes and sensed that there were only about 10 people in there.

Ryu: Go time.

He shot out 10 fireballs before hearing bloodcurdling screams and then silence.

Ryu: And jobs done.

He went inside before finding large stashes of money everywhere.

Shojo: Pretty impressive haul Ryu.

Ryu: Yup. And now.

Ryu threw a few odd red and black crystals. That's when he held out is hand before exploding the crystals causing a chain reaction explosion of flames and gravity that left nothing left of the mansion. He smirked and flew back to the base this time only taking around 5 minutes. He kicked the door down catching the attention of the three ladies in the room.

Ryu: I'm back.

Leone: Wait wait wait, it's only been 15 minutes!!

Ryu: That's all the time it really takes. Hell I made sure to not even give anyone the chance to know what happened. They never even knew someone was there before they died.

He had a small smile on his face and Najenda slightly sweated.

Najenda: I've let a real monster into Night Raid. What kind I have no idea.

Ryu: Ahh don't worry I'm only a monster to anyone who I don't consider allies. Anyone else though is fair game. But aside from that I brought back some good loot~.

He dropped the bag of money in front of them as Leone's eyes were sparkling.

Najenda: Smart, you got it all before you blew the place up?

Ryu: No shit.

Leone: We're gonna be loaded when this is all done!

After another hour Tatsumi was back.

Ryu: Took you long enough, I'd have enough time to cook dinner again.

Najenda: You've defeated a powerful adversary on your own, I'm impressed.

Tatsumi: Yup. Here that Akame? I did exactly what you wanted me to AND I didn't get a scratch on me! Now tell me how wonderful I am-

Akame pulled Tatsumi's shirt off of him surprising both him and Ryu as the former blushed.

Tatsumi: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!!

Ryu: Uhhhh-

Akame: Leone, boss, grab him.

She pulled his pants down with Ryu raising an eyebrow.

Ryu: Hey if you're trying to reverse gang bang the kid leave me out of it. Hell don't do it at all if possible.

Fun Fact 2: Among many things, Ryu doesn't condone sexual assault.

Akame inspected his body all around.

Akame: Thank goodness.

They saw she had a genuine smile on her face.

Akame: I've seen people die from infection because they were too proud to report their wounds. I'm glad you didn't get hurt. It's hard for people to survive past their first mission. I'm glad you survived.

She held her hand out before Tatsumi shook it.

Leone: The only reason Akame was so hard on you before was because she was worried about your safety.

Najenda: Learning to cook helped with your communication. And hunting taught you basic killing techniques. Do you understand why we made you do this?

Tatsumi: ... Sorry Akame, I guess I got the wrong idea.

Akame: It's ok. Just try and keep coming back alive, Tatsumi.

Tatsumi: Sure, as long as you keep looking after me, Akame.

Ryu: You should not be saying this when you're naked dude.

Akame looked at Ryu.

Akame: That reminds me, we haven't checked for your wounds.

Leone: Oh yeah!

Ryu: YOU TOUCH ME AND BODIES HIT THE FLOOR!!!
