Rengoku: Did you steal those?

Ryu: No.

Rengoku: Then how did you get them so fast?

Ryu: Grabbed the tickets and left the money.

Ruby: Believe it or not that's probably what happened.

Rengoku: I see. Well then I guess it's time to eat!

Ren Goku grabbed one of the many bento boxes beside him as the two could already feel the massive headache that was about to occur. He took a bite before uttering a single word.

Rengoku: UMAI!!

Ryu didn't even waist a second as he brought out a pair of earplugs to block out the noise.

Ruby: Hey where are mine?!

He looked at Ruby reading her lips while blocking out the constant UMAI's of Rengoku.

Ryu: You knew the consequences.

Ruby: Traitor!

This continued as Ruby seemed to pull her hood over her head in attempt to block out the noise to no avail.

???: Uh, excuse me?

Ruby looked up seeing Tanjiro Inosuke and Zenitsu.

Ruby: Hey guys!

Ryu opened his eyes seeing then before smiling and pulling out his ear plugs.

Ryu: Long time no see you three.

Zenitsu: Uh no offense but, that's the flame Hashira?

Ryu: As much of a glutton as he looks like yeah.

Ruby: Also the guy who taught us Breathing.

Zenitsu: WOAH WHAT?!

Rengoku turned to them as he stuffed his face.

Rengoku: UMAI!!!

Tanjiro: Y-Yeah, we heard you. The first 50 times.

Rengoku finished eating as he looked back at Tanjiro.

Rengoku: It's you. You were the one at the mansion.

Tanjiro: Yes. I'm Tanjiro Kamado. This is Zenitsu Agatsuma, and this here is Inosuke Hashibira.

Rengoku: I see. Also, isn't there one in that box?

Ryu: Yeah that's his little sister Nezuko. The Demon girl who for some reason is attached to me.

Rengoku: Right. Since the Master accepted her, and Ryu here strongly vouches for her, I will keep my peace.

Rengoku patted to the empty seat between he and Ryu.

Rengoku: Sit down won't you?

They all did as Inosuke seemed hyper banging his hands on the glass.

Ruby: I'll assume this is his first time on a train.

Ryu: I feel like 3 Hashira and 3 other Demon Slayers are overkill for this mission.

Tanjiro: Also, there's something I wanted to ask the three of you.

Rengoku: Oh? What is it?

Ryu: Shoot.

Tanjiro: It's about my father.

Ryu: What about him?

Tanjiro: He was a frail man.

Rengoku: Was he now?

Tanjiro: And yet he could from a Kagura dance in freezing cold weather.

Rengoku: We'll good for him!

Ruby: Kagura dance you say?

Tanjiro: And then!

Rengoku: And then?!

Tanjiro: Hinokami Kagura, the Dance I found myself doing, just like my father used to. I was hoping that either of you three knew anything about that dance. If you'd be willing to tell me.

Rengoku: Certainly! But I don't! I have never even heard of that dance, not once. You're father taking this Kagura and adapting it for battle is commendable. There's nothing more to say about it!

Ryu: Hinokami Kagura roughly translates to Dance of the Fire God, so maybe that's got something to do with it.

Tanjiro: Are you sure that's all there is to-

Ren Goku seemed to go giant with a bright glow around him.

Rengoku: You should become my Tsuguko! I'll look after you!

Tanjiro: Not so fast!! And wait, when did you become gigantic?!!

Ryu: Oi, leave fourth wall breaking to the professionals!

Shojo: Right here thank you.

Ruby: And Kyojuro, you've already trained three Slayers to be Hashira, isn't that enough?

Ryu: But anyway maybe it has something to do with the color of your sword. What is it? I never actually payed attention to it.

Tanjiro: It's black.

Rengoku: Is it now? It's similar to both of Ryu's then!

Tanjiro: Wait, you're right. His swords have black too right?

Ryu: Yeah. But anyway I've heard that people with black swords have no idea what style to master. I created Magma Breathing to suit my fighting style.

Rengoku yet again became giant with a flaming aura.

Rengoku: NOT TO WORRY!! I CAN TRAIN YOU!!

Tanjiro: Maybe, later!! And just how did you get so big again?!!

Ryu: Ok I never thought I'd say this but Fang you might wanna patch the wall up just a bit.

TIME SKIP!!

Zenitsu had began or freak out realizing that Demons could appear on the train as Ryu had began to get increasingly frustrated. That's when they saw the conductor coming to them. Both Ryu and Ruby had noticed he seemed off.

Conductor: May I... See your... Tickets please.

Ryu: Uhhh, sure.

Ryu gave Ruby a look that to her meant "Be on guard". She nodded before they all got their tickets punched with Ryu immediately sensing something. He noticed the others began to get drowsy and slowly fall asleep.

Ryu: Guys? Come on this isn't the time to fall asleep.

The conductor looked at Ryu almost confused. That's when Ryu seemed to hatch a plan before falling down and seeming to fake sleep. The conductor let out a sigh of relief seeing this.

Conductor: Good, he's asleep now too!

He ran out to the next cart. As a few minutes passed.

Ryu: 'Damn, how long do I have to keep faking.

He heard footsteps as children with ropes walked over to them.

Ryu: 'Just a little closer...'

Another took a step closer as Ryu shot up.

Ryu: Surprise.

A girl screamed looking at him.

Girl1: How are you awake?!!

Ryu: Don't worry about that.

He disappeared from their sights and chopped them in the neck leaving just the pale and fragile boy. He seemed scared before Ryu crouched to his level.

Ryu: I wouldn't feel right attacking a kid with tuberculosis so can you just tell me where the demon is?

Boy: Y-You mean you won't hurt me?

Ryu: Duh. I've done some bad things but I'm not some kind of monster. Now where is it?

Boy: H-He on top of the train in the first cart.

Ryu: Thanks. Also do something good and wake the idiots up.

Ryu opened the train window and went through flipping himself up onto the roof of the train. He walked forward before seeing a Demon.

Ryu: Yo dumb ass.

The demon turned around revealing that it's eye said Lower One.

ENMU

Enmu: What's this? You're already up? Good morning!

Ryu: Yeah yeah screw your shit I never fell asleep.

Enmu: Really now? Well I don't really believe you.

Ryu: Eh well I couldn't care less. By the way, you're gonna be the 3rd Lower Rank I've killed. 4th if you count the drumming mother fucker.

Enmu seemed shocked hearing that.

Enmu: Y-You're the one that-

Ryu: Yup.

The the blink of an eye Ryu was gone and Enmu's head was severed as Ryu sheathed his blade.

Ryu: And that's all she wrote.

He was about to turn and walk back into the train before seeing that the body wasn't vanishing.

Ryu: Ah shit what is it now?

Enmu: I understand now. Why the master wants you disposed of at any cost. As a Hashira, and a genuine threat to the Demons!!

He saw that a grotesque tentacle with the head of Enmu.

Enmu: The fact that your own raw power matches that of an Upper Moon Demon!!

Ryu: So, I'm gonna go on a whim and say that you merged yourself with the train.

Enmu: That's right!! For the minutes you were down there, I fused my body, with this entire train!!!

Ryu: Hm, thanks for the info. So I've just gotta find your neck.

Ryu slashed at the tentacle ripping it apart. He closed his eyes sensing around and using his smell to locate where the head and neck could be. A moment later his eyes shot open as he dashed at incredible speeds towards the front of the train. This shook the entire train.

Ryu: Not a clever place to hide your neck.

He cut open the top revealing the other conductor. Saying nothing he knocked out the conductor before unsheathing his katana. He gripped it tightly before shredding through the entire cart earning a pained shriek from Enmu. This made the train begin to go off track.

Ryu: Uh oh.

Ryu jumped off and in front of the train.

Ryu: Good thing the soles of my boots are metal.

He mustered up all of his strength and even entered Wolf Emperor form putting his hands out with the train pushing him back. Sparks flew from under his feet as he pushed back hard.

Ryu: MAN I HAVEN'T PUSHED AGAINST SOMETHING THIS HEAVY IN FOREVER!!! I'M OUTTA PRACTICE!!!

His eyes glowed as he pushed harder slowing the train down. It progressively lost speed until it flew of the tracks with Ryu stopping it with a burst of wind and stone holding it up. He went back to normal letting out a breath.

Ryu: But I can't exactly just go around and stop a train at random so I guess that's why.

He put his back against the train as for the first time on one of the missions was mildly out of breath. Although this was the case he smiled.

Ryu: Even though I beat him pretty easily there was some kind of challenge that came with this thing. A pretty cool one too.

A moment later he heard a crash with dust smoke shooting up.

Ryu: Oh that's some bullshit.

He looked inside the dust seeing two sets of glowing eyes. When the smoke cleared it revealed two Demons. One with eyes saying "Upper Three" and the other "Upper Two".

Ryu: Ok something's definitely wrong here.

Ruby Rengoku and Tanjiro ran out to find Ryu.

Ruby: Ryu, what happened?!

Immediately Upper Moon Three had bolted towards them aiming to attack Tanjiro. Ruby and Rengoku already had their hands on their sword but didn't have the chance to draw them as Ryu caught the fist of the Demon.

Ryu: Christ on a sesame bun you're fast!

He kicked the demon back causing the arm to rip off.

Ryu: I won't be able to stay as lax as I want anymore.

The Demon landed on his feet as his arm regenerated quickly.

Ruby: He's fast, and so is his regeneration.

Upper Rank 3: Those are some great reflexes.

He licked the remaining blood on his arms.

Upper Rank 2: Oh my! I've never seen a human with such an amount of brute force! You were able to stop a train without any injuries!

Ryu: Yeah yeah heard that most of my life.

Tanjiro: He stopped it himself?!!

Ryu: Anyway they have nothing to do with this. Why attack them and not me?

Upper Rank 3: I thought they'd get in the way of our little chit chat is all.

Ryu: Alright spit out what you wanna say. Matter of fact what the hell are even your names?

Upper Moon 2: Of course!! I am Doma and this is Akaza!!

AKAZA!!

DOMA!!

Ryu: I can already tell you hate this guys guts.

Akaza: Is it that obvious?

Doma: That's mean Akaza!!

Ryu: Anyway spit it out before I lose interest in 5 seconds.

Akaza: Straight to the point. I like it. Why don't you become a Demon?

Akaza: I can tell just by looking at you that you're strong. And I'd guess you're in a league all by yourself, even among the Hashira. Your fighting spirit as well. It's calm, but seems like it could burst out at any second. Your name?

Ryu: Ryu Kaizen. I'm the Magma Hashira.

Akaza: I see. Let me tell you why despite being a Hashira, your strength is not enough, even with that unbelievable strength you losses. You are merely human. You'll grow old and eventually die. Become a Demon Ryu. Doing so would allow you to better yourself for another 100, maybe 200 years.

Ryu seemed to laugh. That's when Ruby seemed to hold back a laugh too.

Rengoku: Uhhh, what's so funny about that?

Doma: Something humorous to you?

Ryu: Haha, you can say that! It's the fact that I wish I was still full human!

Doma: ... Come again?

Tanjiro: Did he just-

Ryu: I don't need to become a Demon to live longer or stop growing old. I'm not gonna take the easy way to get stronger either.

Ryu grabbed his blade with a grin.

Ryu: All becoming a Demon will do for me is make me weak to sunlight. So unless you have anything else you wanna talk about, prepare to die.

Akaza: I see.

Doma: Such a shame. I seems that you're life will end tonight then.

PLAY THE MUSIC NOW!!

Shojo: This is a good one.

Akaza stomped his feet into the ground and entered a martial arts stance.

Akaza: Technique Development. Destructive Death: Compass Needle.

What seemed to be a light blow snowflake formed on the ground under Akaza. Both Akaza and Doma ran forward to attack Ryu as the later brought his giant blade blocking their attacks with ease. They started to move and fight at speeds in which Tanjiro seemed to struggle watching.

Tanjiro: I-Incredible!!

Akaza: In all my years I've never heard of a Magma Hashira!! No one has yet to take me up on my offer either!

Ryu: Lucky you then, the two of you have the privilege of dying to one of a kind!

Ryu dodged a punch aimed at his head shocked that Akaza was able to dodge his attacks.

Akaza: Why do you think that is? As a fellow master of the martial arts I can't seem to comprehend it, not when only the chosen ones can become demons!

Both Demons aimed for a blow at Ryu's neck, but found both of their arms were chopped off after trying.

Ryu: It's a pride thing. Sometimes I really don't get it either.

Doma regenerated running back in to attack.

Doma: Barren Hanging Garden!

Doma had waved his fan causing razor sharp ice shards to fly towards Ryu. He dodged all of them with ease as Akaza jumped up.

Akaza: Destructive Death: AIR TYPE!!

Akaza punched the air causing pressurized wind burst to head to Ryu. Prepared for it he dodged and blocked the attacks of Akaza AND Doma at once.

Tanjiro: We've gotta help him! There's no way Ryu can keep this up!!

Rengoku was ready to jump in but found Ruby's hand in front of him.

Rengoku: Ruby, what are you doing?! Kamado is right he can't do this forever!

Ruby: No, just look.

They looked at Ryu seeing he began to move faster. That's when he blitzed Akaza in the air kicking him far down. While he was in air they saw that Ryu was actually smiling.

Rengoku: Wh-What in the world?

Tanjiro: He's smiling?! He's facing two Upper Moons and actually smiling?!!

Ruby: He doesn't want anyone interfering right now. He's having a blast and using this as a way to get better. And even so, Ryu's not giving it everything he could right now.

Tanjiro: Really?!!

Ryu: Magma Breathing: 6th Form!!

Akaza and Doma ran in towards Ryu before his blade became scorching hot and he spun around.

Ryu: SCORCH SPIRAL!!!

The Akaza launched himself back while Doma couldn't as he found his arm was cut off with there actually being pain for him.

Doma: ARGH!!

Ryu stopped spinning looking back.

Ryu: What's wrong, my blade a little too hot for you?

Doma's regeneration seemed to stop as Akaza couldn't believe his eyes.

Akaza: I-If I had been just a little slower then...

Rengoku: What in the?! Not even my flames are hot enough to do that on their own!! Ryu's somehow found a way to stop the Demons regeneration!!

After a few more moments Doma started to regenerate again panting. He looked at Ryu with a smile.

Doma: That pain felt absolutely incredible!!

Ryu: Yikes, a masochist huh? Well that isn't the only thing I have in my bag of tricks. Buckle up chuckle fucks.

He dashed towards Akaza dragging his blade across the ground.

Ryu: Magma Breathing: 3rd Form!

He looked up at Akaza disappearing.

Akaza: What?!!

They all saw his arms fall off making Akaza yell pained.

Ryu: Flowing Eruption.

He looked back at Doma who prepared an attack.

Doma: Freezing Clouds.

A gust of cold air went towards Ryu as it was nearly at his face.

Ryu: 'Can't breath it in! It's definitely gonna freeze my lungs!'

He teleported behind Doma nearly cutting his head off but missed just by a centimeter impaling his arm off.

Ryu: You got lucky on that one. Next time it'll be your head.

He looked up seeing Akaza was there readying a devestating attack.

Akaza: Final Form: Blue Silver Chaotic Afterglow!!!

He started punching all around as it seemed omnidirectional thin shockwaves were on course to attack and damage Ryu.

Ruby: LOOK OUT!!!

An explosion occurred as when the smoke cleared it revealed that Ryu was nowhere to be found and the only one that was damaged was Doma.

Doma: Where in the world did he go?!!

Ryu: Up here.

They saw Ryu was flying up in the air with white flames under his feet and a bit of blood falling from his mouth. He fell preparing another attack.

Ryu: Magma Breathing: 2nd Form!

He swung his blade multiple times making slashes of lava go at them.

Ryu: Furious Lava Blades!

The two couldn't react fast enough and were each grazed by the blades. Akaza ran back as Doma still had his arms ruined being vulnerable.

Doma: 'It's all or nothing now!!' Rime— Water Lily Bodhisattva!!!

A giant statue of a Buddha that launched a flurry of ice attacks towards Ryu.

Ryu: Ha!! Some sloppy work like this won't beat me!!!

Ryu gripped his blade before spinning.

Ryu: Magma Breathing: 7th Form!!

He blade became red hot as the ground seemed to scorch.

Ryu: CHAOTIC LAVA EDGE!!!

He swung the blade as lava ripped from the ground and slashed the statue straight in half along with getting Doma's neck and the rest of his body. Akaza couldn't believe his eyes as soon Ryu disappeared from them. Seconds later he felt his head role off his shoulders while also lighting ablaze. This was caused by Ryu who gripped the large sword with both hands and knelt. Ruby Rengoku and Tanjiro had all winced from the intense heat.

Tanjiro: HOT!!

Ryu: I'm impressed. You managed to bring a power out of me that I haven't had to use in a long time.

Akaza: 'D-DAMNIT! DAMNIT!! NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY I CAN'T REGENERATE FROM THESE FLAMES!! IS THIS THE END?!!!'

The burning head of Akaza looked at Ryu as he had a familiar grin.

Akaza: 'Th-That grin...'

The image of a middle aged man replaced Ryu for a second causing Akaza's eyes to widen.

Ryu: You lost, but you were the first person in this world to ever injure me, even if it was slight.

Ryu looked back to the decomposing Doma.

Ryu: You even though you were stronger can just go fuck yourself in hell.

Doma grinned before his body fully decomposed. Ryu looked back down at Akaza.

Ryu: They say you regain memories when you're about to die. What's you're REAL name?

Akaza looked at Ryu once again before smiling.

Akaza: My name is Hakuji.

Ryu turned waving him off.

Ryu: See you in the next life then, Hakuji.

The flames fully emerged the pink haired Demon as he vanished without a trace.

Ryu: Argh man, when am I gonna learn? I pushed it way too far with these flames.

Tanjiro and Rengoku couldn't put their thoughts to Ryu into words as Ruby grinned.

Ruby: I never doubted you pal.

Tanjiro: WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!!!

Ryu: Oh yeah Ruby and I are from another world.

Tanjiro: HUH?!!!

Rengoku: THAT GIVES NO EXPLANATION ON WHAT YOU JUST DID AND HOW YOU DID IT!!!

Ryu: Yeah I'll tell you another time. Right now though-

Ryu held up his scorched blade as it broke.

Ryu: -_- Hagumo's gonna be REAL pissed.
