Ryu: Lecture me all you like Kyojuro, this is something that you won't change me on.

Ryu was leaning against a tree as an almost frustrated Rengoku was talking to him. The kanji for Destroy Demons was on both of Ryu's blades as well.

Rengoku: Ryu, you have become a Hashira, you simply cannot be allowing this.

Ryu: Both that kid and his sister are special in ways you just can't wrap you're head around. Sorry but I'm not letting them die.

Rengoku walked back over to the other Hashira there knowing that it would be futile to argue. Ryu looked over and saw that Tanjiro began to wake up.

Tengen: I heard he was traveling with a Demon in toe, so I was expecting someone with more flare, not just some ordinary looking kid. Too bad.

Rengoku: We must see that this boy is put on trial to be judged! So it shall be!

Mitsuri: 'To think he's been protecting his sisters who's a Demon. What a brave and beautiful display of sibling love!'

Tanjiro: What? Who are these people-

His head was pushed to the ground my a man who's face was covered.

Kakushi: Don't open your mouth until you're told!! Do you have any idea who you're talking to?!! These are the Hashira!

Ryu: That goes for you too.

He jolted up seeing Ryu deadpanning.

Tanjiro: Ryu?

Shinobu: This is the Demon Slayer head-

Ryu: You're here cause they wanna put you on trial for your sister being a Demon.

Shinobu: Quite. Before we begin the trial, why don't explain the crime you're-

Rengoku: There's no need for a trial! Protecting a Demon is a clear violation! We can deal with this on our own! We will execute them both!

Ryu seemed to get increasing annoyed with each Hashira that spoke.

Tanjiro: Nezuko! Where did you take her?!

He tried to get up looking around for the box.

Iguro: Never mind this boy, what will we do with Tomioka and Kaizen. Seeing them standing without any restraints is making me feel ill. Based on what Kocho-

Ryu: Iguro, I can promise you if you try and lay either of you're tiny slimy hands on me I will use your own snake to break them.

He stopped before shutting up seeing how irritated the newest Hashira was getting.

Shinobu: Uh... What I'm more interested in is hearing this boys story.

Shinobu walked over to Tanjiro giving him water with an anesthetic. Before he could even speak though Ryu did for him.

Ryu: What I'd sum it up to is he was out doing something for his family, came back, and found they were all killed except for his little sister who was turned by Muzan Kibutsuji himself.

Tanjiro: That's... You basically just explained most of it yeah...

They all looked at Ryu waiting for some form of an answer.

Ryu: What? You go through the shit I have and you can tell someone's origin story at a glance.

Iguro: Well if she's family there's no wonder you're defending her. I can't trust a single word you're spouting. I don't believe you for a moment.

Gyomei: So sad. He's been possessed by a Demon. Let us end this child's life and free him from this cursed existence.

Hearing that made Ryu's anger start to bubble up.

Tanjiro: Please listen to me! I became a swordsman in hopes of finding a cure for her! It has been two whole years since Nezuko became a Demon!! She's never once attacked anyone in that time!!

Tengen: Your story telling is lacking any vibrant sparks of color. She hasn't devoured anyone, and she's not going to. If you're going to plead your case at least spice it up a bit.

Ryu: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU IDIOTS?!!!

They all looked towards Ryu who stopped leaning on the wall and began to walk forward.

Ryu: For the elites of the Demon Slayers you sure are a fucking clueless bunch! You can't tell that this kid is being genuine here?!! I've seen that girl with my own two eyes and believe me when I say she's nothing like the others Demons! I'm not gonna sit here and say it's not wrong, but come on!! Now if you don't feel like sparing him, I won't hold it against you, but grit your teeth, and wait for the Master before we do anything!!

Each of them were still processing the furious Ryu before he seemed to calm down.

Tanjiro: Please let my sister fight by my side! I know she can fight as a Demon Slayer to protect humans!

???: Well well, what kind of fun do we have brewing here?

They all turned around seeing Sanemi with the box Nezuko was in.

Sanemi: Is that the moron who brought a Demon along with him? What the hell do you think you're trying to pull here exactly?

Ryu: ... The fuck are you doing with that box?

Shinobu: Shinazugawa, please don't act out of line.

Sanemi: Run that by me again kid. She can fight as a Demon Slayer to protect humans is that it? Know what we call that?

He drew his sword with an insane smirk.

Sanemi: COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE YOU IDIOT!!

He stabbed through the box with his sword going all the way through and blood being seen as well as a small groan being heard. Tanjiro was about to get up to run but they all felt an extreme pressure being exuded on the area. This was enough to make Tanjiro collapse from shock and a bit of fear.

Tanjiro: Is this bloodlust?

It was revealed the cause of this was Ryu as he was glaring at Sanemi with a murderous aura.

Ryu: I'm pretty sure I just said to wait, and Shinobu was the one to say don't act out of turn.

Before Sanemi could react Ryu had taken the box out of his hand pulling the green blade out.

Ryu: Listen next time.

He received a hard punch from Ryu coughing as everyone heard a small squeal.

All: 'How hard did he hit him?'

Sanemi spat up saliva coughing violently.

Ryu: Count yourself lucky I didn't break any of your bones.

???/???2: The master of the mansion had returned.

They all looked seeing two twins as Ryu jumped a bit in surprise.

Ryu: Why do they just pop out of nowhere?

They saw Kagaya walking towards them as the infection he had seemed to lessen even more. He kept walking looking up at the sky finally beginning to see color.

Kagaya: Good morning to you all, the weather is strikingly nice today. And, I think with a blue sky. Finding ourselves here at the semiannual gathering with the same faces. It brings me joy.

Ryu went next to Tanjiro correcting his posture allowing him to kneel but be comfortable.

Sanemi: I am pleased to see you in good health as well Master. I fervently pray for your good fortune.

Kagaya: I thank you Sanemi.

Mitsuri: 'Awww, I wanted to be the one to welcome the master!'

Ryu: Forgive me for the informalities master, but I can already assume you've sanctioned both of them, right?

Kagaya: That is correct Ryu.

Ryu: In the least disrespectful way I can, the Hashira that want Tanjiro and Nezuko dead are ignorant and biased.

ONE UROKODAKI SPEECH LATER!!

Sanemi: Who cares how they choose-

Ryu: Utter one more word, and NO medic or Demon alive will be able to fix what I do to you.

Sanemi: ...

Ryu stood up grabbing Nezuko's box.

Ryu: If only to end this shit once and for all, I apologize in advance for this.

Ryu deactivated his own aura walking into the shade of the mansion before slicing his arm with a sword.

Ryu: Like Shinazugawa I'm a Marechi. Demons love my blood especially so this'll prove it. If Nezuko can resist my blood than there won't be a question about it.

He let the blood get into the hole in box hearing grunting.

Ryu: Sorry Nezuko.

He opened the box with Nezuko slowly rising out. She seemed to be slightly drooling with the bamboo in her mouth still blocking blood. Ryu looked back seeing Tanjiro was struggling to break free with Iguro putting pressure on his back with his elbow.

Ryu: Iguro, I'm warning you once, stop, or you're next.

Remembering the exchange he had with Sanemi minutes ago he hurriedly got off of Tanjiro. Nezuko was only focused on the blood for not long as she looked to see it was Ryu. Her attitude soon changed and she stopped drooling and hugged him.

Ryu: -_- Ok Nezuko, you don't have to hug me every time you see me.

He shook the blood off as the wound had already healed before patting Nezuko on the head.

Tanjiro: ... Wha?

Ryu: Ya see what I meant by different now? Name a single Demon that's ever HUGGED a person before.

Kagaya: There you have it. Undeniable proof that Nezuko won't harm a human.

Nezuko still clung to Ryu's arm as he rolled his eyes but let it happen.

Mitsuri: 'HOW ADORABLE!!'

Ryu: Tanjiro, you have any idea why she's so attached to me?

Tanjiro: Uhhh...

Tanjiro looked at Ryu before realizing something.

Tanjiro: I think you remind her of our father.

Ryu: ... Huh?

Kagaya: Not everyone will accept her right away. Aim to defeat a Twelve Kizuki, you're words will have more weight behind them if you do.

Ryu sensed Tanjiro was about to say something that may embarrass himself stopping him.

Ryu: Tanjiro, I know what you're gonna say, and that's a pretty big aspiration, but stick to the Kizuki for now.

As if he already said it out loud Tanjiro turned as red as a tomato making some of the Hashira laugh. Ryu looked to Kagaya who looked back before seeing the request he sought to make before nodding. Ryu grinned like a maniac cracking his knuckles.

Ryu: Shinazugawa, Iguro, you've got a 45 second head start.

Iguro: ... What?

Ryu: Did I stutter?

Sanemi: Huh?!

Ryu: 30 seconds left to run.

Taking no chances Iguro ran away high speeds. Ryu looked at Sanemi with an even more psychotic look than the latter had before. Fear yet again sinking into him he ran from the mansion. The time limit had passed as he ran after them

Ryu: COMING FOR YA!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Rengoku: Ryu wait!!

He stopped turning to Rengoku.

Rengoku: I'm sorry for not trusting your word!!

Ryu looked at Rengoku again before smiling.

Ryu: Forgive and forget Kyojuro. That's a rule I try to live by.

4 Months Later

Ryu: So yeah, that was pretty why I was gone for the day.

Ryu was training by swinging a giant Boulder on a stick as Ruby was watching deadpanning. They were also in a large new Japanese Mansion that was owned by Ryu as the new Magma Hashira.

Ruby: ... You have got to find different ways to vent your anger.

Ryu: I could, but that's just more fun.

He finished swinging the Boulder before flipping it onto the ground with a thud.

Ryu: By the way, shouldn't you be at your turf?

Ruby: It's near by, plus if worse comes to worse, I can always make it there with Petal Burst.

She smiled as her Scythe shone with the Kanji for "Destroy Demons" engraved on it.

Ryu: Gonna be honest, I never expected the word Inferno and you to go with each other.

Ruby: Every world works in some weird ways.

Ryu: Yeah I should be saying that. I got flames that could burn reality from one.

They heard cawing seeing Ryu's Crow.

Ryu: What's up?

Crow: The casualties of the Mugen Train. More than 40 are missing as it stands. You are to join Kyojuro Rengoku on sight.

Ruby: Wait wait wait, THREE Hashira for a single mission? There's no way it could be that bad right?

Ryu: Probably for extra insurance. But anyway, let's go.

He grabbed his blade slashing a portal in the air. They both walked through and Rengoku was there sitting down.

Ryu: Yo.

Rengoku: Ah!! Ryu, Ruby! I see you two have gotten the message!

Ruby: I feel like he's a bit to casual about seeing us appear out of thin air.

Ryu: Everyone was minding there business so it's all good.

Rengoku: Indeed! Although what will you two do about the tickets?

Ryu: Oh right one sec.

He popped out of existence for a brief moment before reappearing with two tickets in hand.

Ryu: Boom.
