Ryu and Ruby were walking on a field with the former spinning his Mammoth Nichirin on his finger.

Ryu: -_- Ughh when are we gonna get there?

Shojo: When you get there.

Ryu: That's only gonna make me wonder and make the trip last longer.

Ruby: You know he is kinda right.

He yawned before hearing familiar voices. Mostly that of screams. They looked ahead seeing Tanjiro and the other blonde boy from final selection.

Ryu: Ooh, something to cure my boredom!

He stopped spinning the sword on his finger walking forward.

Ryu: Usually I wouldn't be approaching someone myself but you seemed pretty occupied.

Tanjiro turned around seeing Ryu and Ruby.

Tanjiro: Hey, Ryu, Ruby!!

Ryu: What up?

Zenitsu seemed to blush over Ruby before noticing the tall Ryu and screaming.

???: IT'S THAT SCARY GUY WHO PICKED SOMEONE UP BY THEIR HEAD!!!!

Ryu looked down at him.

Ryu: Uhhh, hold on I don't think I ever got your name.

???: M-My name is Zenitsu Agatsuma.

ZENITSU AGATSUMA!!

Ruby: Cool. Anyway why are you whining so much?

Ryu heard chirping and looked down to see a small sparrow. He picked it up by the finger listening to the chirps.

Ryu: Oh alright.

They continued walking with Zenitsu becoming less and less terrified.

Tanjiro: You better?

Zenitsu: A bit, but now I'm feeling really hungry...

Ruby: You out of food and rations?

Zenitsu: Yeah...

Tanjiro took out a rice ball extending it to Zenitsu.

Tanjiro: Here, take one of these.

Zenitsu: Really? Thank you so much.

He grabbed the ball and took a bite before looking back at Tanjiro.

Zenitsu: Aren't you gonna eat anything?

Tanjiro: That was all I had.

He took a glance at the rice ball before splitting it in half.

Zenitsu: Here, you take this half.

Tanjiro was a bit surprised himself before smiling.

Tanjiro: Thanks a lot.

Ryu looked at the two teens before smiling lightly.

Ruby: He kind of reminds me of Jaune.

Ryu: Even Jaune wasn't scared of monsters this much Rubes. Just half a rice ball isn't exactly gonna give you too much energy.

Ryu took out two more rice balls.

Ryu: Here, both of you take one.

Tanjiro: Wait, won't you get hungry then?

Ryu: Ha, don't worry kid, I've got plenty to spare.

Shojo: About 150 exactly.

Zenitsu: Uhhh, who said that?

Ryu stopped dead in his tracks hearing those words. Ruby looked at Zenitsu then Ryu and then back to Zenitsu.

Tanjiro: What are you talking about?

Ryu: ...

Ruby: ... No...

Shojo: ... He couldn't have heard me could he?

Zenitsu: There it is again! Someone else's voice is here!!

Ryu began to internally sweat as Tanjiro looked at both of them confused.

Tanjiro: Actually, I don't hear anything, but come to think of it there's another scent around Ryu. *Sniff* It sorta smells... Femi-

Ryu: Oh hey look a giant mansion about a 6 miles away!

They looked ahead confused.

Ryu: Huh. There really is one. I was kinda bluffing before but now that I actually look ahead-

Tanjiro: What are you talking about? It's impossible to see 6 miles out.

Ryu: Well you have your nose, Zenitsu has I'll go on a whim and say his ears, I can see up to about... 10 miles away in clear resolution without straining.

Zenitsu: That far?!

Ruby: He actually can. It's kind of one of his many supernatural skills.

Ryu: Yeah. 'I can actually push that way farther but they don't need to know that.'

Zenitsu: Farther?

Ryu: Ok that's it I'm putting my thoughts on hold around you.

Tanjiro/Zenitsu: Huh?

Ryu: But anyway if you can hear thoughts then why the hell are you afraid of Demons?

Zenitsu: THEY'RE TOTAL MONSTERS THAT EAT PEOPLE!!!

Ruby: Better than dealing with monsters the size of literal sky scrapers.

Zenitsu: WHAT?!!

Ryu: Forget you heard that. But yeah demons can at least think. So if you're hearings really that good just fight with your eyes closed.

Zenitsu: THAT'S SUICIDE!!!

Tanjiro: Yeah it kinda is. Not everyone can be like you Ryu.

Ryu: Anyway you gotta stop stressing out your sparrow pal. You're kind of a bitch according to it.

Zenitsu: What?!

Tanjiro: Well that was a mean way to put it but yeah. He says your always whining about not wanting to go to work, and you're always hitting on girls and you snore really loudly.

Ryu held the bird on his hand.

Ryu: Yeah that's right.

Sparrow: *Chirp*!

Zenitsu: Wait he said all that?! You can understand bird language?!

Tanjiro: Yeah.

Ryu: Uh huh.

Ruby: Yeah but mostly adorable tiny animal language.

They sparrow fluttered into Rub's hair.

Sparrow: *Chirp*!!

Ruby: Hey, my hairs not a nest pal, buttering me up does nothing.

Zenitsu: No way! You've gotta be lying to me!

They all heard a crow cawing.

Crow: STARTING RUNNING!! START RUNNING!!! RUN TANJIRO, RUN ZENITSU, RUN RYU, RUN RUBY!!! All of you must head to your next destination!

Zenitsu: AHHHH!!!! THAT CROW IS TALKING TO US!!!!!

Ryu: Dude get up before I slap the fear out of you.

They began to walk forward with Ryu pondering a few thoughts but making sure Zenitsu couldn't hear them.

Ryu: 'It's weird, the kid thinks that he's weak but I can tell he's actually as strong as me when I was 12. Which considering I could take down an Alpha Beowolf alone then, that's impressive.'

They stopped moving as they arrived at the mansion Ryu had spoken about.

Ryu: See? Anyway feels like a Demon is in there so I'll get a head start. Come in when you're ready.

Ryu walked in casually as he kicked open the doors.

Tanjiro: Wait a sec!! We don't know what's in there!!

Ruby: Guys.

They looked at Ruby who seemed to be only slightly annoyed.

Ruby: Let him be. There's literally nothing in there that could kill him if it tried. And if it means anything, in the short amount of time he's become a Demon Slayer, Ryu has already become a Kinoe.

Zenitsu: HE DID WHAT?!!!

IN THE MANSION

Ryu was looking around sensing for the most powerful presence in the mansion.

Ryu: Man this guy really hid himself.

A few seconds later Ryu heard a blood curdling scream.

Ryu: -_- Zenitsu if you can hear this, wait till I get my hands on you.

In the distance he heard Zenitsu freak out even more before hearing a hard slap.

Shojo: Thank you Ruby.

They heard the sound of drums before Ryu realized that the room changed multiple times.

Ryu: What sorcery is this?!!

Tanjiro: RYU?!!!

Ryu looked to the side seeing Tanjiro and a little girl.

Ryu: TANJIRO?!! HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN?!!!

Tanjiro: I don't know!!! I think it's a Blood Demon Art!!

Ryu: Blood Demon Arts do things this crazy?!

He saw the little girl holding onto Tanjiro tight as on instinct he went to her crouching down.

Ryu: Hey kid, I thought you were hiding in the bushes with someone else outside. It's really dangerous in here so you should get out fast.

Girl: B-But I've got to find my brother!

Hearing this slightly surprised Ryu as for the first time after coming to this dimension he felt sympathy for someone.

Ryu: ... What does he look like? If I find him I'll bring him back to you.

Girl: H-He wears an orange Kimono.

Ryu: Alright, I guess that's as good of a description I'm getting from a kid. I'll look around for him.

He grabbed his giant blade before picking up the girl. He swung his sword as the wall was cut into pieces.

Tanjiro: No way, it looked like he only swung it once...

He jumped out and put the girl near a box. He looked at it slightly confused.

Ryu: 'Why's someone in there?' Anyway kid it's safe out here. Nothing can attack you.

WITH RUBY

Ruby was walking around looking for the others.

Ruby: GUYS?! WHERE ARE YOU?!

She heard running having a little bit of hope.

Ruby: There you a-

Her thoughts were stopped as she saw someone in a boar mask.

Ruby: In the words of Ryu: The hell?

???: OUTTA THE WAY!!!

He ran past Ruby running spinning her.

Ruby: Watch it you jerk!!

She heard drum beats again as the rooms began to turn once again.

Ruby: OH COME ON!!! NOT THIS AGAIN!!

I'm another room Tanjiro was fighting a demon with drums on his bodies.

Tanjiro: Kyogai, I will not give you that child!! It's futile!!!

Kyogai: Grrr, I will get my hands on that boy, and I WILL RECLAIM MY RIGHTFUL RANK AMOUNG THE TWEVLE KIZUKI!!!

KYOGAI.

Before anything else they heard the sound of a familiar antagonizing voice.

???: Wait wait wait, YOU were a member of the Twelve Kizuki?!!

They both looked to see Ryu on the ground seemingly starting to crack up.

Ryu: So that's means that Kamanue guy took your spot!!

Tanjiro: When did you get back in here?!!

Kyogai was shocked hearing what Ryu said.

Kyogai: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!! HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT NAME?!!!

Ryu: Huh? Pretty simple actually. I killed the fucker with my bare hands.

Kyogai: LIAR!!! HE DEFEATED ME SO THERE CAN'T BE A CHANCE A HUMAN COULD-

Ryu: Blah blah I've seen the song and dance a thousand times.

He vanished from both of their sights.

Tanjiro: It's that incredible speed again! I can't tell where he's moving at all!

Kyogai: What trickery is this?! Where did he-

He stopped talking in a matter of seconds as he felt something change.

Kyogai: ... Why can't I feel my everything?

He looked down to see his head wasn't attached to his body any longer. They cause of this was Ryu who had Kyogai's head in his hand while sheathing his Nichirin Blade with the other. Soon he started to disappear into nothing as Tanjiro's mouth was wide open.

Tanjiro: 'Oh crap, gotta get a blood sample!'

He quickly threw a knife which sucked blood from the body. This didn't go unnoticed by Ryu who picked it up when the body vanished.

Ryu: What's this thing?

Tanjiro: GAH!! THAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT!! DON'T DROP IT!!!

A second later a cat walked into the room with a sticky note with an odd symbol on it and a satchel on it's back.

Ryu: Is that a cat?

Tanjiro: Please I really need to give that cat this blood sample!!

Ryu looked only mildly skeptic before shrugging and tossing the knife to Tanjiro.

Ryu: I won't pry too much in your business.

As soon as Tanjiro put it in the bag that cat meowed once again disappearing.

Ryu: What a weird world. Anyway I'm gonna find Ruby. Be here there if yah need me.

Tanjiro: Ok.

He walked out the door and started sensing around for Ruby.

Ryu: To those of you asking why I'm not just teleporting to her, where's the fun in that?

Shojo: Not getting lost.

Ryu: That chance. I'm not Zoro.

After walking for 3 minutes he found Ruby near the entrance.

Ryu: So Ruby whatcha find in here?

Ruby: Jerk wearing a boar mask. What about you?

Ryu: Killed the Former Lower 6 Demon.

Ruby: Neat.

They were about to move forward but heard footsteps behind them. This was revealed to be Tanjiro carrying a boy with an Orange Kimono.

Ryu: Oh hey, you found the kid.

For the first time Ryu looked outside.

Ruby: What's up?

He walked forward with just a bit of confusion. They all ran out of the mansion seeing the aforementioned guy with a bore mask stomping on Zenitsu who was protecting the box Tanjiro carried. The two children were crying as Zenitsu spoke.

Zenitsu: Tanjiro... The box, I protected it... You told me this was more important to you... Than your own life... That's why I did it...

???: YOU IDIOT!! AFTER ALL THE BOLSTER YOU DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO DRAW YOUR DAMN SWORD?!!!

He continued kicking Zenitsu while he was down as Ruby had none of it walking forward. She tapped him on the shoulder making him stop for a sec.

Ruby: Excuse me good sir I think I have something that belongs to you.

She held her hand out balled up into a fist.

???: What the hell are you talking about?

He looked closer before receiving a sound smack across the face from Ruby.

Ruby: The goofy I smacked out of you.

The mystery man bumped into Ryu not seeing him there.

Ryu: Ok that was good Ruby, but that was only one slap when it should've been like 40. By the way.

Ryu pointed in the other direction as he looked seeing Tanjiro was right there punching him in the stomach so hard it cracked his ribs.

Ryu: Ah that was weak.

Zenitsu: I HEARD IT!! HE BROKE HIS RIBS!!!

Ryu: Anyway aren't you a Demon Slayer? We're not supposed to have any fights with each other without provocation.

Tanjiro: But here you are giving him a completely one sided beating! Is that fun for you?! You're the lowest of the low!!

He coughed a bit before cackling.

Ryu: Shit she really did smack the goofy back into him.

???: In that case let's fight bare handed!!

Tanjiro: No!! Did you even hear a word we just said?

He got back up launching himself at Tanjiro as they began to fight with Tanjiro just trying to avoid the wild strikes. Ryu noticed the unbelievable flexibility of the other fighter almost impressed.

Ryu: Huh, he kinda reminds me of Neo the way he fights.

???: Let me sow you what else I'm capable of!

For some unexplainable reason the boy did a stretch that had his head go in between his legs.

Ruby: ... Eh?

Trying to end the foolishness Tanjiro had head butted him making him stumble back.

Ryu: HOT DAMN you've got a hard head!!

The mask of the man fell off revealing that the foolishness had only started as he had the face of a beautiful girl.

Ryu: ... WHAT?!

???: What? You got a problem with my face or something?

Ryu: DUDE YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR A FUCKING CHICK!!!

???: WHY YOU!!!

Ryu: THAT WASN'T EVEN AN INSULT! I THINK?!!

Tanjiro: Yes! You actually look quite nice!!

Ruby: Alright, can this just stop now?

???: I've got a better idea! How about I tell you my name!! It's Inosuke Hashibira!

INOSUKE HASHIBIRA!!

Tanjiro: How is that spelled exactly?!

Inosuke: Huh?! I-I don't know how to read and write okay?!! All I know, is that name was written on my-

He stopped for a second seeming to gurgle.

Ryu: THAT MEANS YOU CAN READ DAMNIT!!

After a second his eyes rolled to the back of his head as he began to foam from the mouth.

Ruby: Oh yeah that's a concussion.

Tanjiro: I DID head butt him really hard.

Ryu: ... I'm gonna go take a nap.

Ruby: Now?!

Ryu: Yes! I've had enough crazy for the hour!!
