Chapter 14~ Truths

What will happen? Will the truth hurt more than tell? Can hurt be fixed?

Those thought whirled through my head as I looked at Natsu. When I woke up, he was sitting beside me.

"I-I...." I hung my head in shame.
"Im a monster... I should leave. Its for the best.. for me.. for the guild.."

Natsu looked at me in shock. Dense, as usual, he said, "Come back with us. Why would you want to leave? We are your family, we wouldn't abandon you because of that. Mira is a demon."
He helped me stand up.

I blinked, but slepped him. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" He yelled, and I coughed. "Your so dense. I don't know if the cats have the power to carry us both..." Night waddled up to me.

"I can carry you Saki-chan!" She said, and picked me up. I winced, and she adjusted her grip to my wounds. "I'll fly you back home."
I saw Happy carry Natsu, and we went in different directions.

When the flight was over, Night helped me to lay on my bed. She looked at me with concern, and dissapeared. Later, she came back, with Wendy.

"Lay down please." She instructed, and I obeyed. A green light was coming from her hands, and I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

*Later, it's Nightime, and Third person*

Night prodded Saki's shoulder, and she blinked wearily. "What's up?" She asked, not wanting to be awake. She blinked her eyes, and it looked like Night's dark fur was soaked in water... or was it blood? She blinked again, it was gone.

"What happened Night?" She sat up now, really scared. Night 'shhhshed' her. "It's okay. Nothing happened. You looked like you were having a nightmare. Go back to sleep."

*Saki's Pov*
I don't like to listen to people, cats, but I did what I was told, and fell back asleep once more. Sleep gripped me, but I was being attacked. I jumped back, and saw the figure that was slashing at me.

She was me.

I attacked back, using my magic, but it was no use. She mirrored my every move, not even thinking twice about it. She was about to kill me when the dream broke. I woke, and a terrified look on my face as I corrected myself.

Night was sleeping, and I walked over to her. Rubbing her head, I smiled. 'She's like a reverse guardian angel.'

Slipping on my jacket, I was dressed as usual. T-shirt with cargo shorts. And my sword. I climbed down the tree, Night waking up. "Wait for me!" She yelled, flying after me.

When we arrived at the guild, I let my ears show, as usual, but they were white instead of the original silverish black. Natsu saw me, and I scented a glimmer of worry. I nearly cringed. 'IF HE TOLD ANYONE I SWEAR TO GOD!' I yelled in my mind, and Blanc covered her ears.

"What have I told you about yelling? Jeez.' She muttered.

Makarov walked up to me. "Could I talk to you?"
I winced at my thought. "S-sure."
He led me to his office, and Sat down. Clearing his throat, and standing on a small stack of books, he spoke.

"I have heard that some strange things have been going on from one of my wizards, Saki." He stated, calm. I raised a brow. "Lemme guess, the idiot who can't keep his mouth shut?" He nodded.

"You've turned into a demon?"
"Sorta Sir."
"How long have you known about this?"
"Sir, since that mission. Never before."

He paused in thought. "You can tell me, or anyone anything in this guild. We are family. It shouldn't matter what happenes, we would never treat you any different. However, you must get a control on this."

I simply nodded. "Yes sir."

Walking out of the office, I decide to go explore Magnolia some more. I only know some of the place, and even though I had been living there for a while, I didn't like people outside of guilds much.

''Oi Saki-chan!" I heard a voice call for me, but I partially ignored it. The person then jumped on my back, and I saw a Navy blue glove. "S..Sting.!" I yelped, falling on the ground.

He got off of me, and apologized. "Gomen* Saki-chan."
I narrowed my eyes, "You are in Magnolia. This is rather odd. And Lector isn't with you." He shrugged. "I came to see you."

Blushing, I protested. "You couldn't have possibly endured almost 2 hours of train riding to come and see me."

He nodded. "Yup."

I snorted. "Considerate."

We walked around Magnolia, he wrapped his arm around me, making me blush. 'If..... if only....'

"What's wrong?" He asked. I shook my head in reassurance. "It's nothing, just some thoughts."
He still looked concerned. I snorted. "Told you, it's nothing." He laughed shakily. "Fine."

Hearing the rumbling coming from my stomach, he added, "Are you hungry?" I protested. "No-" Ruuuuummmble
"Okay maybe."
"Then let's go to the Ramen Shop!" He suggested, running in that direction. I could only run after, too hungry to not comply.

When we arrived, I ducked under the half cloth on the door frame. The man took our orders. I got Beef, and Sting chicken. When it came, I immediately asked for seconds. "Dang Saki you're hungry today."

I nodded. "Like I wouldn't eat."

Finishing, we talked all the time that we were there.
This and that, so and so. Finishing, and paying, we walked outside, and I climbed a fence and sat on top of it.

"Hey Sting." I asked, as he climbed up beside me. "Yeah?"
I bit my lip. "Would it change the way you think of me, as a friend I mean, if..."
His eyes darkened. "If what?"

"If.... I told you..."
"For Kami's sake what is it?"

''I...I'm a demon." I said quietly. He leaned over, like he was going to whisper in my ear, but he hugged me. "I don't care." Me, assuming we were friends, was confused. "Okay. We are still friends right?"

He looked at me with his deep blue orbs. And Grinned.
"How about more?"
I frowned. "What?"

"I love you Saki."
