Steven's POV

I am mad beyond words right now.

"Pearl, who was that gem and why is Zach with him!?!!?!" I yelled.

Pearl looks at me, wide eyed.

I start glowing dark pink and take a step towards pearl.

"S-steven, that gem is your mother's old playmate spinel, I don't know why Zach joine-" pearl speaks before getting a bubble gauntlet to the face.

"I know why, he joined spinel because you hurt him!!" I yelled, slowing down time and running to where I know Zach and spinel would be.

As I'm running my outfit changes, my jacket turns jet black with a pink diamond on the back, same with my shirt and pants.

My POV

As myself and spinel walk into the abandoned warehouse, spinel speaks up.

"Zach, can you tell me why you teamed up with me, not that I'm questioning you, I'm just wondering why." Spinel asks me.

I sigh.

As I'm about to talk we hear three voices.

"We knew you and spinel would come here bro." The voices spoke.

Me and spinel turn towards the voices with our weapons summoned.

Who I see surprises me, it's my sister Alex, and my brothersNova and Steven.

"Alex, nova!" I spoke as I tackle them into a hug.

"Don't worry about telling me and Alex what happened Zach, Steven filled us in." Nova told me.

I look at Steven, who is rocking a badass new look.

"Steven, You knew?" I ask him.

Steven nods.

"I noticed what pearl did to you, I was hoping that I could talk with you about the subject, but I couldn't, so I went off on pearl, and decided to join you." Steven told me.

I look to nova and alex, they nod in agreement.

I blush a little when I feel spinel kiss my cheek.

"We'll fight the crystal gems together my darklight." Spinel told me.

I look at her and pull her beside me by her hips.

"Thank you nelly." I told her.

I look to Steven, Alex and Nova.

"Thanks Alex and Steven, you too nova." I told them.

They nod.

"Family sticks together Zach." Steven told me.
