Aerials point of view

I don't quite understand what happened one minute me and my new friend Astrid I believe her name was watching waiting out for this dagger person only for him to jump us and throw us in this cage then for him to wait until hiccup returned with his dragon tooth and now it appears that they're having a stand-off of some kind

Dagger: brother! it's been so long. Let me look at you. You really have changed and quite the ladies man that I imagine it looks like you've ditched most of your old crew and replace them with a redhead and the blonde one.

Brothers, their brothers, they don't look related hiccup continued: we are not brothers dagger let them go.

Astrid: yeah, Ariel's got nothing to do with this anyway we just found her in the shipyard

It would appear that they're trying to defend me I think however dagger does not seem to be buying it: hiccup brother do you really think I'm that foolish?

I could tell by hiccups expression he wanted to say yes, but considering that this man has got the nickname the deranged I believe that would be foolish itself: fine fine... I'll let them go if you give me what you're hiding behind your back

Hiccup was hiding something behind his back not very well: I don't know what you're talking about

Dagger: brother I am deranged not stupid. I can see that you're hiding behind your back. Give it here brother share remember

Snatches the strange object from hiccup I'm not sure what it was but but the dagger seem to be taking an interest in it even though he had no clue what it is either with their business included dagger and his men left but they left us in the cage as the eels were coming back for their revenge

Hiccup and toothless blast us out of this cage but the bars remain intact. It's dragon proof I believe is the word: can't get the doors open they're dragging proof seems like everything on the ship is

Astrid: hiccup don't worry about me and Ariel will be fine. Go after dagger.

Hiccup: are you sure?

I nod as well we're not going anywhere we're just stuck in a cage and this ship is so well built that not even the eels could dip it over and appears that Astrid sees that as well: yes we be fine. Remember, we've got a mermaid on our side.

He noded as he got on the back of toothless and flew away presumably to stop dagger

Leaving me and Astrid alone in the cage : I know that you talk Ariel, but I just have to ask can you actually do you know turn back into a mermaid if we get in the water?

I know that is possible, but in order for that to properly happen, I would need fresh seawater Astrid doesn't know that part yet but considering was surrounded by the ocean, I'm pretty sure it won't matter

Astrid : OK so even if we do end up in the water we should be fine... Well one of us anyway but that's not gonna happen this boat may be abandoned but it seems to have good bones. I mean nothing short of a catapult right in the centre could possibly bring this-

As if buy some act of the gods a rock then came out of the sky smashing through the ship, causing a massive hole in the centre

And our water was oozing out of the hole and we were beginning to sink and the eels I could hear them they were getting hungry

Astrid : okay spoke too soon

Hiccup point of view

I went after dagger like I was supposed to, but he gave me a choice either I could chase after him or rescue my friends. He knew what I would choose so I went to go save the others. I know that Ariel probably doesn't need my help since she's a mermaid and she could breathe underwater but then again there is the eels and not to mention Astrid doesn't have advantage either.

But how do I get through the cage? It's dragon proof it might be dragging proof but maybe I can figure something else out. Thankfully, an answer came to me storm fly had returned and it gave me a new idea.

We fly back down to the ship toothless and I landed on the front of the cage and stone fly landed on the back with the two dragon strength. We had enough to lift the cage out from the sinking ship on onto a more stable one.

Astrid: cutting it a little close there

I know, and I've still gotta get her out of the cage but I can't let dagger get away with whatever that was but then there's the book... I can't let him get his hands on that either. I can't even understand what's written in there and I doubt dagger could but if he gets this book and finds out magic is real who knows what kind of devastation he would cause searching for answers

Knowing what I have to do, I take it out of the saddle and hand it to Astrid who seems very confused : hiccup what is this a book?

I explained it to her: it's a book of magic. I wouldn't of it if I hadn't seen Ariel before but it's an actual book on magic Astrid magical flowers that can heal any injury a stone that could turn up baron island into a luscious place to live with plenty of food and water there's even some stuff on dragons in there. I think it was on the reaper anything just as important as whatever dagger has. I need to go get it but I can't risk this book falling in his hands either.

She nodded: OK you go after him? Get whatever that is and will keep the book safe as we try to get out of this cage.

I know as I get back onto toothless and fly off dagger is already heading into the fog area. I'm running out of time but with this fog gives me an opportunity I fly in low and at the right moment I snatch the treasure right from his fingers.

Which he's not happy about as he orders his men to shoot me, but they miss as we disappear into the fog and the last thing I can hear is dagger demented screams
