Astrid point of view

I thought we were gonna end up in a kingdom instead we end up in the middle of some sort of circle of giant rocks and the fog is everywhere it's difficult to see but it's clear that we are in a completely different part of the world it's colder judging by the markings on these stones whoever put them here has a completely different language to us. We could be on a far side of the planet.

Rapunzel : where are we?...This doesn't look like a kingdom unless is this all that's left?

Hiccup grabbing the book from toothless's saddle and skimming through it quickly: I don't think so according to the book the kingdom was over a cliff immediately judging by these descriptions it wasn't a kingdom as impressive as yours was Rapunzel but it had a castle and this doesn't look anything like the place described

Okay, so we've gone to the wrong place : so what we are in the wrong place

Hiccup: I'm not sure there are records of something like this in the book, but there's not really much information about it other than the fact that the kingdom claimed it did not make this circle of giant stones

Rapunzel examining the stones: well someone had to put the stones here there's no way this happened naturally... Also look at these markings they look almost an ancient. Is there anything else in the book about a place like this?

Hiccup: not much the author wrote a little bit theories about where they came from what they mean but the one thing that is mildly interesting is he spoke of hearing whispers when he was around here... Does anyone else hear Whispers?

There was a brief moment of silence as everyone listened closely even the dragons trying to hear anything any whispers from anywhere but there was nothing just pure silence but I was getting the feeling we were being watched

Hiccup: well whatever we are whether it's close to the Dragon Hunter Kingdom or not, we're not gonna find out by standing around here... It's too foggy we can't fly we'll have to walk and remember we don't know where we are so we need to be on our guard

We all know in agreement as we just decide to walk in One Direction dragons staying close by hiccup and toothless were fast because toothless was using his echolocation skill to navigate through the fog so that we don't walk off a cliff or something

As we walked, we got into a forest and the more deeper we walked in the less fog was around us until finally we could see we seem what was around us and we were still in the forest, but it was nice not to be surrounded by fog and the feeling that we were being watched quickly faded away with that

We continued walking through the forest until we came across a pathway I look down at the pathway they were footprints horseshoe footprints. I recognise them from Maximus but this horse was a lot bigger than Max and by the looks a bit more strong too

Aerial tapped my shoulder getting my attention she pointed to something up in the tree. It was a target with an arrow hit the dead in the centre

It seems as if we had stumble across someone's training route : I'm not sure but I think we've stumbled into someone's training route... But looking at it they must be really quick with reloading arrows

(just so we play in the how to train your Dragon franchise they only show crossbows they don't show bows so it stands the reason that hiccup and the others wouldn't know that there are other forms of shooting arrows)

Hiccups: yeah and to do this while riding a horse that's not an easy thing look at the markings it looks like this person's been shooting here for a very long time

He's right it almost reminds me of where I would go to practice throwing my ax a tree had more markings in it then branches

Toothless his ears, then pick something up as he sniffed the air as well before he lunch back into the bushes

Hiccup: toothless where are you going, buddy! Toothless! oh Gods you continue going on I'll catch up then again he's just getting his dragon. I mean what kind of trouble could he get in to...? Yeah, even when I say it it still unbelievable.

Hiccup point of view

I keep calling out for toothless but I can't find them anyway. He just ran off It's not like him. What could've possibly drawn him away?

I continue looking through the forest, but I just can't find him and I make sure to keep track of where I'm coming from to make sure I don't get lost like the last time I went into the forest by myself but I still can't find toothless

That's when I heard a sound snapped twig and it sounded like someone getting thrown on the ground and the strangest thing is it was right behind me. I turned around and saw a redheaded girl.

The redhead didn't seem to notice me as she rubbed her head : a oh Angus, you gotta stop throwing me off your back!

When she opened her eyes, my eyes met her. We looked at each other in complete silence for a solid two seconds and in an instant she got up and she grabbed what appeared to be a weapon of some kind with an arrow pointed at me in a threatening manner

The redheaded: who are you? Where do you come from? And what are you doing here?!

I tried to de-escalate the situation : please let me explain. There's a reason for it-

Her face suddenly loses all colour as her eyes widen. I don't look that threatening do I? : Excuse me, Miss what's wrong? You look like you've seen a-

That's when I heard the familiar growl of toothless I turned around and he was looking over me menacingly oh no he must think the redheaded girl was trying to hurt me. He draws closer to her. I try to stop him. She falls back terrified and just when I think toothless is going to hurt her, he just steals a fish that she had on her.

I chuckled to myself relieved : oh that's right I forgot to feed you this morning... Sorry bud no wonder you ran off. You must've smoke a fish and you were hungry.

I packed him on the head as he tapped me on the head as well. The redheaded girl looks at us confused: is that it? He just wanted my fish

I rubbed the back of my head : yeah sorry I forgot to feed him this morning... I can get you another one if you like are you okay? Miss? Do you need a hand?

I place a hand to help her wrap, but she slaps it away and gets up on her own: I do not need your help. I can do it on my own.

I chuckle slightly she reminds me of Astrid judging by her reaction. I would say that she hasn't seen a dragon before

The redheaded girl: why is there a dragon here? I thought they were myth

I suppose that's a reasonable response from someone who's never seen a dragon before nor believed in their existence: because where I come from we have dragons of our own by the way to answer your first question my name is hiccup

She crosses her arms I don't know if she believes that my name is hiccup me not that I would blame her sometimes I can't believe it's my name: so hiccup what are you doing in this part of the forest?

Should I tell her about the others? No let's wait off on that. I don't know anything about this girl. I don't know if I can trust her or not.: I should be asking you that why is a girl like you out here?

The redheaded girl: that's none of your concern but the real question is why do you have a dragon?!

Another reasonable question which makes me realise just how far off the map that we know of that me and my group really are: oh don't worry there's no need to be afraid toothless is my best friend

Redhead: oh really? So not only does your friend attack people he also steals their fish.

Wow, she really is holding a grudge: you're still holding onto that... Listen I'm sorry it's my fault I didn't feed him this morning. He must've smelt your fish and come running. I can get you another one if you want.

She seems to calm down after that: no it's fine. I didn't really need it anyway... by the way I'm Merida

I smile as I extend my hand for a proper introduction: well it's nice to meet you, Merida

She looks at my hand and then takes it as we shake hands: I suppose it's nice to meet you too... But seriously what are you doing here? I know that you're not from around you I've been in these woods my whole life and I certainly would've found evidence of a dragon living in these woods

That's a fair question and I should probably give her some somewhat of an explanation: well actually I'm from a far off land me and my team are here looking for something actually you could help out with that. Have you ever heard of the Dragon Hunter Kingdom?

She thinks about it for a moment: Dragon hunter Kingdom?

Okay, not exactly a good sign to show that we're in the right place: yeah it would be like a kingdom that sup premises to hunt dragons I guess

Merida: no not really. I mean there is a kingdom here but it can't be the same kingdom you're looking honestly until five minutes ago I didn't even believe dragons really existed and the kingdom is still fairly new. It can't be this kingdom of Dragon hunters

Did the fog really take us to the wrong place: okay can you tell me where we are exactly?

Merida: no special like I said, the kingdom still fairly new honestly we're still kind of coming up with a name for it

Well, that's great: hey listen thank you for your help and again I'm sorry about toothless stealing your fish but I should get back to my team. They're gonna start to wonder where I've run off to it was nice meeting you Merida and I would appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone about me or toothless

Merida Shrugged: sure I doubt to think anyone would believe me anyway I hope you're fine what you're looking for?

Me too for all of our sake is I climb onto the back of toothless as we raced back into the forest? I look back at the redheaded girl she's watching us as we disappear from site. Why do I get the feeling that I'm gonna run into her again quite soon.
