Once everyone was done eating, they decided to stay a bit longer before they all had to go home. Which by a little longer, was about at least a couple of hours or so. So it technically wasn't just "a bit" longer.

After they all stayed a bit longer, they all went home happy and worn out for sure. It was at least 10:00 PM right now.

They were all glad that they could come to this Thanksgiving dinner and could enjoy each other's company. It was one of the best days of their lives. It was a day they will never forget.
