~~~This Time~~~

Me and my SAO Gang walked through the nature dungeon. I have no clue how long this thing is, but like Peter White would say, "Down the rabbit whole we go!" For those who don't know, Peter White is the White Rabbit's human form in the manga "Alice in the Country of Hearts." I actually own that manga at home. I would like to see them again. I miss Boris, he's a neko like me!

Out of nowhere, Liz asks "Why are we here? Aren't the crystals we're looking for in the ice mountains?"

To which I laugh and respond, "We would, if I wanted ice dragon crystals! I'm looking for lava dragon crystals."

Kirito pipes up in confusion, "But aren't we in a nature dungeon?"

"Of course we are! Lava is a part of nature, so it would be here!" I cheerfully reply.

"No, it would be in a fire dungeon, you BAKA!" Asuna yells at me.

"Okay, x) I have no clue who you're yelling at, we're all friends here. And 2) A lava dragon would be in a fire themed room as a mini boss. If this were a fire dungeon, the dragon would be much stronger and I would have brought more people." I reason.

"(Y/N)'s got a point there. Because we're in a nature dungeon, there would be a room themed for each of the 6 elements. So there would be a fire room with a lava dragon." Char buds on my side.

"Well duh. That's obvious." I state.

"But there might be a possibility that the lava dragon won't be one of the crystal dragons. So what would you do then?" Char asks.

"Well, the boss of this dungeon is a 6 headed dragon. Each head being one of the 6 elements. We just need to take down the fire dragon head and take the fire crystals it drops. Then we can go home and concentrate the fire crystals and turn it into lava essence." I explain.

"But that's not an item in SAO." Kirito points out.

"So, Asuna was able to make mayonnaise and soy sauce, and those aren't in the game." I point out.

"But I was using code that was already in the game. I was simply mixing and matching the ingredients until the game came up with something that tasted like soy sauce. Unlike you, who would just get heated fire crystal." Asuna said with a irritated tone. She didn't like that I brought her into this, I'm sure.

"That would be true, if I hadn't already figured out a way to get crystal essence." I stated

"nd how'd yo--" Kirito was cut off by a roar and me opening a door.

"What was that? I was opening the door to the fire room." I ask once the group got over.

"It was noting important." Asuna says before Kirito can answer.

"For the sake of keeping the anime cliché I will pretend that's the answer I'm looking for." I say and drop the conversation.

I walk in all confidence and giggles. Everyone trails behind with uncertainty. The room is all charred and burned. Little embers glow in dead, burnt out trees. Ash travels through the air and the ground is singed to a crisp. The rivers and streams are replaced with slow moving lava trenches. The celling is blocked by smoke from burning fires. Various fire and lava monsters dot the field, hungry and ready to attack at a moment's notice. And on the end of the room lies a throne. A colossal throne, decorated with jewels and skulls.

I hear the group's hesitance and look behind me. There is apparent fear in Liz's eyes, Kirito looks unsettled, Asuna looks like she's going to throw something into the lava rivers, and Char looks unchanged. I grin at all of them, a big hope in my eyes, a thirst for adventure and combat surging in my soul. Kirito looks at me and calms down, settling into determination. Liz is less frightened than before, but still on edge. Asuna... still looks like she wants to throw something in the river.

Without a single word, I take off running toward the throne on the other end of the room. Everyone is in a hassle to catch up with me.

"Come on slow pokes! Adventure awaits!" I shout.

The monsters around me put me in a spotlight. With no word, they attack with their fire/ lava weapons. I narrowly manage to doge any of them, my cape getting a little singed at the ends. I pull out my swords and start attacking. I'm talking slashes, charges, stabs, anything you can think of I've done. Within 5 minutes, the monsters are gone. I've received stuff but I don't know what kind of stuff, but I got it.

The rest catch up and we go through the room together.

~~~Time Skip 'cause writing this would take too long~~~

We've reached the end of the room and I'm the lowest health out of everyone. I was taking the brunt of the damage 'cause I was at the front. And maybe because I wanted to protect everyone. Yes, I wanted to protect everyone. The only down side is, I'm not fit to fight the mini boss. Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

"(Y/N), maybe you should sit this one out." Kirito says concerned.

"Yea, I agree with Kiks over here. You've taken too much damage, you should wait on this one." Char backs.

"Honestly, I could care less whether you die or not." Asuna says with a snobbish tone. Kirito sends her a glare but says nothing.

"I'll be fine guys, they're just scratches." I reason.

Before the conversation can continue much further, the Lava dragon appears. (See pic above) It crashes a few meters away from the group. My first instinct is to protect my friends. It goes to attack Asuna, but I shove her out of the way and take the hit. Upon impact, I go flying. I hit a pillar and black spots dot my vision. I hear my name, angry yelling, and the clink of swords before the world fades into a black abyss.
