Roleplaying Styles
There are several ways to roleplay. If I miss any, please tell me!
Stars
This is what I call roleplayers who use the method of asterisks at the beginning and end of their actions and no quotations.
*Holds out hand* Give it back!
This can also be placed by dashes, but it's basically the same.
Story Style
This is what I call the third person omniscient roleplaying style.
The young blonde woman stared at Jacob. "W-who are you?" She felt scared and alone, wanting help.
The vampire smiled, bowing slightly. "Just a young man." And thus the fly was caught in the spider's web.

First Person
Pretty self-explanatory.
I shook my head, backing away. "N-no! Don't do this to me!" Terror was coursing through my veins. I wondered if I would ever get home now.
Thoughtless
This is actually my usual roleplay style. Third person, but only the actions, words, and appearances. It's mostly to create a mysterious aura or to make my roleplay partner feel more immersed.
Rose folded her arms and glared, her eyes burning with anger. "How dare you." Her voice trembled with fury.
The big thing is to convey emotion without the actual thoughts to spoil it.
