Muffins are a prized commodity in the Gulch. It all started with CM (CrazyMoose) I believe, CG's crazyp01 horse, who would not eat hay or sugar cubes, only muffins and jam. And we all know what happens "When you give a Moose a Muffin?" sorry it had to be said....

The trend caught on with Stannbear's horse, Bounty and several of the residents were enjoying them as well. 

Then our brilliant Sheriff, 3Gun, had used them in a pinch as a poultice for a bleeding gun wound he received while hunting down Lean's killer (Hunter Kanga, now deceased) Showing us all that muffins are not only delicious but seem to have a medicinal quality. However, this seems to be regulated to Blueberry Muffins, or Black Berry if the condition is severe. 

The town would get their muffins shipped from Missy's Muffins (an insider joke among CG, lyttlejoe and Ruechari based on a character Ruechari created for a story on her profile called RED VELVET ) 

Now, however we have a Bakery in town, Myna's Baked Goods and Bounties. Thanks to the Town Council granting Miss Darkly MystresMyna  , our local bounty hunter, permits to build one in town. A special christmas gift to all the residents of Busted Gulch. 

However it is now the Bounty Hunter's Cafe thanks to her newest boarder and partner AJ AmbergrisJane who has brought noodles and other delights to the West and the Gulch has never been the same. 

Of course, it's not all fun and muffins as they were smartly used against us by a clever witch, Ruby catlover215 , who was in custody for the kidnapping of Kae, kpmoulton , our resident Investigator. She hexed the muffins so that anyone who ate one would go into a dream like state and experience their heart's true desire, a reality they would not wish to escape from. (NIGHT of the MUFFINS) Thankfully however the town was saved and the reputation of muffins was not damaged in the least. 

Then there was the Muffin Riot started in the Saloon by our resident townie Moonie  MoonshineNoire though she denies all allegations, but it was a happy ending as it lead to our Deputy Myna Darkly meeting and falling love with the then Marshal Lorne Order who is now the town's Mayor and the couple has recently been happily married. 

Want to know how much your Gold is worth... well it will be measured in... that's right MUFFINS...

So, as you can see Muffins are pretty valuable in the Gulch for many reasons... so don't be surprised if you hear them being mentioned and talked about often.
