Looks, the most fun yet tedious thing to do while making a Creepypasta oc.

Now, I love creating looks for my ocs, but you have to be more careful when it comes to Creepypasta characters since everything is so overdone already.

What not to give your ocs when it comes to clothing :

Heels
Skirts
Dresses
Converse shoes/boots
Hoodies
Baggy Jeans

Now I love Hoodies just as much as the next person, but almost every single Creepypasta oc has some kind of Hoodie. Either it be White like Jeff’s, Black like Eyeless Jack’s, or whatever else color that other Canon characters have, don’t do it, and if you do...well...try to make it a different color that isn’t White, Black, or Red. These colors are way too overdone and to be honest, by just giving them a Hoodie...you’re making your Oc’s appearance look really lazy.

If you want to give them a Hoodie, make it to where it’s worn out. Give it some holes, big or small. Make it to where its zipper is gone, make it to where the Hood is torn or heck, rip it off from it. Instead of your character wearing it properly, make it to where they have it hang off from their shoulders like a cape (by tying the sleeves around their neck) or have them wear it around their waist like some punk styled skirt or something. Have a sleeve torn off, have both sleeves torn off, have it stained with blood, give it grass stains, give it mud or dirt stains, something to where it doesn’t look like you magically wash it every single day somehow someway.

Now, moving on to shoes…

Why I said no Heels and or Converse shoes/boots is because those aren’t shoes for a killer.

Heels are hard to run in, unless you are some demonic woman from outer space, you cannot run in Heels...and no, this does not give you an excuse to make your oc a demon woman from outer space, so don’t even think about it! But in all seriousness, they aren’t fit for a killer. Do you realize how easy it is for you to break a heel or both of them? You can be simply walking and uh-oh, your heel broke and now you are stuck a useless shoe with a weird arch to it. Point is, don’t have your character wear Heels, unless you want them to break them like every freaking time they are on a chase, oh, and don’t forget about the ankle breaking...that’s a thing too ya know.

Now onto Converse shoes/boots.

I don’t know about you, but these things aren’t comfortable at all, they are super thin on the bottom and if you are a killer you’re on the run all the time, so your feet will be raw and bleeding by the time you manage to get away and sit down for a change. Not to mention these are not RUNNING shoes, you’ll ruin them within no time if you constantly run in them, I owned a pair or two, and I ran in them a lot so I know this from experience. These shoes are also expensive, especially if you don’t get the cheaply made ones, and I highly doubt that any store would let your killer walk in and purchase a pair of expensive Converse shoes/boots without calling the Police on them. No you cannot say that they stole a pair of Converse shoes from their latest and most recent victim, it doesn’t work like that buddy boy.

Skirts and Dresses...well, they wouldn’t really be comfortable to run around 24/7 I’d imagine. Sure you’d have the free space to move around and be extra flexible, but they would get caught on nearly everything. Branches, Sticks, Bushes, not to mention I’d imagine it cause highly uncomfortable sores due to your bare thighs brushing against one another constantly. I wore skirts once...they hurt.

Now onto Baggy Jeans…unless you have a belt holding them on the constant, they will slide down your butt more faster than you’d be able to catch them, and if you don’t catch them you’d trip and fall and that will probably end your Killing career right then and there. Also I’d imagine more fitted clothing would be a better option when your a killer on the run, that way you wouldn’t have to worry about your clothing getting caught on anything and you wouldn’t have to worry about someone grabbing onto you from behind by your overgrown Hoodie or shirt, or grabbing a overly baggy pant leg.

Now, onto Hair, Eyes, Skin, and BODY TYPES!

What not to give your ocs when it comes to physical appearance :

Oddly dyed hair
Ridiculously long hair
Abnormal eye color
Pale skin
Super skinny frames

A lot of ocs have some kind of Dyed hair, unless they are some kind of Imaginary friend or something, they won’t have Pink or Purple hair, don’t give them dyed hair, and if you do, it wouldn’t be freshly dyed hair, it would be faded. As I stated above, I doubt that any store would let a killer wander in to buy anything without calling the Police.

Keep it to natural hair colors.

Blonde
Brown
Black
Ginger

On other thoughts, don’t give your oc Black hair, that is way overused as well, and if they do have black hair...don’t have it long please..

White are only for Albinos, and if you make your character an Albino just for the sake of white hair then….well, good luck to you, you’re on your way down the road to Mary-sue Ville, population, You.

Now eyes.

Don’t give your character abnormal colored eyes.

No :

Red
Pink
Purple
All black
All white
Neon
Glowing
Dual colored eyes

Keep it natural.

Blue
Green
Hazel
Brown
Black (like normal human eyes, no Zalgo wannabes)
Gray
Amber

Don’t make your oc Albino just to give them purple or pink eyes, it’s stupid and you earned yourself a ticket to Mary-sue ville.

Now onto Skin color

I don’t know why everyone make it to where their ocs have super pale skin. Um...pale skin isn’t the only color that Humans have you know. There are different skin colors and races therefore, make your character have different skin color than freaking pale white.

Simple as that.

Now onto body frame..

Why is every Killer super skinny or super duper fit that can run and run and run without a break? Even most fit people can’t run that much without taking a break.

Skinny people aren’t bad, but please don’t make it to where all of your ocs are Skinny and fit, make some characters who are on the more chubbier side, make it to where they have to take breaks when they are running. They are Human after all, make it more realistic.

Not to mention, if you made your character really skinny, and if they are a killer, then how can they fight against someone who is much taller and stronger than them? Speed and agility are important, but you can't win a fight with that alone. If you'd be caught by some muscle man, he'll break you into two.
